Cerise raised an eyebrow to Caiden, shooing him away. "Then leave." She turned her back to him, not particularly caring what his reaction was. Why should she mind if he didn't return? It was his grade, not hers. And it would be glorious of a break. "I'll take five points for your absence." She reminded him, as was her intention for all who did not show up on time, be it later than the first years. Turning back to Ginelle, she responded as if nothing had interfered. "History is as important of a spell as its current use is. In your history of magic class, I do not believe you are going over the history of each spell you are learning." She doubted it, though she had no clue for sure as she had not yet spoken to the history teacher, nor knew who he was. "If you wish to question me further it will also be at the cost of points. It states clearly on the board to think about the history of the spell." She knew she was right. Either Ginelle had forgotten it or not read it, but it was there. She underlined it to emphasize it. Clearing her throat, she announced, "Practice the spell, once you've achieved it three times from this point further, you may leave. Homework shall be done out of class. I expect you to practice this spell if you need it. Next week will be much more difficult." She said it calmly, not as a warning merely to excite those who found it easy (Ginelle.)
Amelia calmly swished and flicked as she pronounced the spell aloud. She had no intention of making this class worse for herself, so she didn't try the spell until she was sure permission was given. The first attempt was her biggest failure yet. She'd done this spell before. When she was trying to levitate herself. It'd been easy then, but now she felt like the teacher was expecting her to fail. A second try however succeeded, and she told herself she could block out the pressure and just focus on the magic.

Taking a seat at her desk, Cerise paused a second before considering what spell to start with for the third and fourth years. She didn't know much of the three students she expected to show up. Well, Caiden she was unsure of, but he seemed to be a troublemaker. Something she severely frowned upon. Still, she would include him, in an attempt to train him properly. He probably thought he was perfect the way he was, just like an American, but he would learn. Lena too seemed to act out, so an eye would have to be kept on her. But Harmony, the "angel" of the class wasn't exactly a stellar person either. All in all, she wasn't looking forward to this section. Therefore she would start small, with a simple spell. She could do without that Caiden boy summoning her bra. Standing, she went to the board and began to write:
Point Me: The Four Point Spell Pronunciation: Point Me ((English)) Description: Causes the caster's wand to act as a compass, and point North. Wand Movement: Lay wand on flat, upright palm. History: Variations of the spell were used in place of Lodestones, by early Chinese fortune tellers during the Qin Dynasty (221-206 B.C.) Expanded to be used by wizards throughout the world after they used the spell on ships. Sometimes supposed this version of the spell was invented by Hermione Granger, however it is unlikely due to her vocal dislike of non-Ministry approved spells later on in her schooling. Task: Find SW
She had every intention of this class going quickly. Therefore she chose an easy, yet still interesting charm, and included all of the information on it. There would be questions certainly, but once each student could tell her the proper direction, she would release them and finally get to work with Meiko. That was what she was looking forward to today. Her wanderer had lots to learn before her NEWTs, and she planned to teach her everything.

'You might belong in Gryffindor, Where dwell the brave at heart, Their daring, nerve, and chivalry Set Gryffindors apart;' Ginelle Ginny Alaine DeLuccia . Thinking . . Speaking . . Action .
Ginelle's Anger was flairing. Lose more points for asking questions? She didn't think so. Ginelle stood up and grabbed her wand to place it on her desk. She wanted to leave as soon as possible, so she quickly started practicing the spell. "Windgardium Leviosa." The feather raised, up to the ceiling, and then she directed it back to the ground. Again, she said the spell, did the movement, and let it come back to her desk this time. The third time, she floated the feather in a circle, but it dropped due to her lack of concentration. "Come on, Concentrate. Windgardium Leviosa!" With that last one, the wand was floating again, levitating around the room. She brought it back to her desk and took it up to the professor. Then, she said "Professor, two things. One, it said to think about the history of the spell. No, I did not think about the history of the spell, but it did not say to wait to do the spell until after you went over things. I think you need to be a little more clear. I'm eleven. Number two, I need to ask questions in class. So if it is going to be a problem, then I need to talk to the headmistress." Ginelle turned around abruptly and left the classroom with her stuff. She didn't want the professor to stop her or yell at her or take more points from her.

Cerise frowned. Asking questions and questioning her were two entirely different things. Why, even an eleven year old should know that! Frowning severely as she did not want to lose this girl as a student, she bent down on her desk, writing her a quick note. It read simply, "You are correct. We need to talk. Meet me after class." With a quick "Posta" the note was off towards its goal. She took her seat once more, a frown still on her face.
Amelia was shocked by Ginelle's outburst, but it gave her the confidence to quickly cast the final two hover spells. Sending her and Ginny's feathers to create a pile on a front desk, she mouthed to Meiko, "I'll see you later." before heading on after her friend.

Blaine tried not giggle as Caiden boomed a greeting to the professor. She would've tried to Levitate the feather, but Ginny had just had her wand taken, and she didn't want the same thing happening. She fidgeted in her seat as she quietly wondered if they still had to do the assignment on the history something or other. She certainly hoped not. She would have asked, but she didn't want to get in trouble for not paying attention, and the other people in the class would probably be annoyed.

On her way out, Amelia saw Blaine sitting in the back. With a quick sideways glance at the professor, she veered her course, choosing a seat in front of her newest friend. Facing backwards, she whispered, "You okay? Want help?" Amelia knew she stood out, but she was willing to risk it for Blaine. Besides, she was just helping the girl, so what was the harm with that?
None the less, Professor Benoit, frowned. She was soon to get lines on her face. Scowling instead, she called, "Miss Joan, you are dismissed." She herself walked to the back of the room, while Amelia looked at her in shock, and leaned up against the desk she was sitting in. "Now, where do you seem to be having trouble?" Her voice was kinder than it had been, enough for Amelia to be willing to leave.
Mouthing 'sorry' she gathered her stuff once more and walked out. She hated this class. She always felt like she was being forgotten, except when she was noticed it was when she was making a mistake. Scowling herself, she tried to find Ginelle.

Meiko just stayed silent as the professor spoke to the Gryffindors and herself. She gave a quick nod to the Gryffindor boy as she went back to her place and heard Amelia saying goodbye to her. "Y-Yeah, I'll see you." Meiko muttered, facing the professor's direction with her usual calm look on her face. *edited

Always lived my life, up to it's fullest. I've never had the chance to look back Just being myself, just being me, not trying to be what I lack. Caiden Alexander Fourth year Gryffindor Caiden got up, walked out of the classroom, and didn't intend on coming back. But, then he thought My mother will kill me... He sighed, turned back around, and quietly entered the room. He set his things on the desk and watched the professor write the next spell on the board. Point me? He hadn't heard of that one before. That surprised him. He took out his wand, and before starting, said "Professor, I know the answer may be a bit obvious, but was there a reason why the Qin Dynasty in China needed a spell like this? Were they intent on expanding then? And, if I may ask, did the general population know about wizards then?" He was actually curious, but hoped the professor wouldn't yell at him for asking such strange questions.

Devon entered the room with a calm expression on his face. He walked up to the professor and said politely. "Good day, professor. I'm Devon Flare, and I've just transferred here."

Meiko looked at the Gryffindor curiously as she heard his ask his unusual question to the professor. She shook it off as she saw Devon enter the room. She grinned and gazed at the professor's direction again

Though Professor Benoit wanted to twitch in annoyance at his mere voice, in a moment she realized his question was quite fine. Turning her back to him while she retrieved a book, she answered to the entire class, “As some of you may know, the Qin Dynasty was the first ruling dynasty of Imperial China. It was known for its military strength, as well as unifying China. It conquered a great deal as this picture shows,” she offered the page of the book she picked up. Continuing with his second question, she had to ponder a moment, “Now, I’m not a history teacher, but I believe that magic was viewed differently at that time. People believed in it more readily, but they kept separate from it. So though they believed wizards and witches, or at that time fortune tellers and the sort, existed they did not associate with them outside of fairs and the like. Or realize at least, that they were associating with them. Muggles of the time used lodestones, a mineral composed of an iron oxide which aligns itself in a north-south direction. It in fact wasn’t until the 8th century AD that magnetized needles were used, like those today.” She wondered if any of that truly helped.
None the less, she greeted Devon with her almost smile, “Welcome, Devon to Charms.” She motioned for him to take a seat, “What year are you? Third?” she guessed by his general size. Though she was just thinking he was smaller than Caiden, and definitely bigger than her first years. “And where did you transfer from?”

Devon nodded at the professor, approving her that she is right about him being a 3rd year. And then, he answered the professor's question, noticing Meiko from the corner of his eye. "I came from Durmstrang, ma'am."

Blaine nodded to Amelia absently as she mouthed sorry, then opened her mouth to answer the professor. She merely shrugged when the professor started talking to Caiden before she could reply. Ah well, she thought. "Wingardium Leviosa!" she said, then frowned when the feather stayed on her desk. "Wingardium Leviosa!" she tried again. This time the feather floated up toward the ceiling, albeit somewhat shakily. She grinned as she directed the feather back toward her desk. "Wingardium Leviosa!" Blaine said for a third time. The feather floated up, then back down to her desk again. Her attention was diverted from the spell as she heard the new boy, Devon, say he was from Durmstrang. A Durmstrang student into Hufflepuff? Well, odder things had happened here. "Wingardium Leviosa!" Blaine said for the fourth, and hopefully last, time. She was right in thinking it was the last. The feather gently floated onto the pile Amelia had made with her's and Ginny's feathers, but landed somewhat ungracefully as Blaine packed up her things and quickly left the classroom.

(( Hey, Music. biggrin I just wanted to tell you that I sort of replied to you in Hogwarts Grounds. )) Devon looked at the Slytherin he had met before in the grounds. He gave her a smile before turning his attention to the professor and frequently looking at her older friends Meiko.
