Her gaze kept being pulled back to where Carry had been taken. She was a tough demoness. Pride would alright. She's fine. She has to be fine. LW kept telling herself this, if only to keep from freaking out even more. Those violet eyes widened and glanced over at the ghoul next to her. Had...had she not had anyone to be with since crashing? That, LW was suddenly very glad that she had made an offer for this one to join them. Being alone out here was not a question. She also know the gang wouldn't mind at all.
At her nod of acceptance, LW's smile grew. Good. Now she wouldn't be alone out here anymore. She did have to blink at the ghoul's name. Oh Jack. What if she said it wrong? She tried slowly. "T-Tsest..siliya...?" Her tail swished a couple times. "Can I call you Liya for short? And it is a pleasure to meet you too!"
The hand that descended on her shoulder made her freeze, but the voice that came with it had her shoulders drooping in relief. "Gabrian!" Oh thank Jack he was alright. That was at least one of her dear friends. But the others...his words stopped her from freaking out too much about not seeing Ren, Alessa or Jove.
"W-what?" The she-wolf frowned, one hand reaching up to squeeze the hand on her shoulder. "I-I...I'm not s-sure." What did it mean? Why would she be called a traitor? Carry will be alright! "H-have you s-seen the others?" LW asked over her shoulder in a small voice. "I don't really care w-which way we go. Just as long as some of us stick together." She added.

The battle was over, but it didn't feel as though they had won at all. Not only where they all nearly knocked out cold from a single wail, but they also lost that demoness ghoul to that skull collecting guy.
If this was victory, he would rather do without.
Sore and annoyed, the black dog slowly got back to his feet. Rubbing at his head, in an attempt to rub away the pain. Thanks to that battle, both the back of his head and the inside felt as though it was going to explode with pain. Pain that he was sure was going to last at least the rest of the night. Which sucked, but at least he and the others could still walk, that had to count for something.
"Now what...?" He muttered, mostly to himself as he watched the others branch off onto the three different routes. He should probably do the same. It was better than standing around here. Though unlike most others, he chose to go in the direction of the cornfields.

"Colette! ...I'm alright," he said, reluctantly accepting the hand up. "Knee's banged up a bit. He's err, gone then? If he took Carry, I don't think he minds about horns. For the skull train. Still..."
Still, better her than him.
The accusation of traitor seemed out of place, though? Hadn't Carry asked him about something earlier? Something about waiting for the inevitable.
"How about you? No major mishaps? ...Dismal amount of fog. I can normally appreciate the atmosphere. It would be a nice getaway location, if it weren't for all the cloaks trying to kill us."

There was a ghoul hugging him. A Demon ghoul. An upset Demon ghoul. He did the only thing that came to mind; freeze. He had no idea who she was talking about of course, as he hadn't been at the school for very long yet so he couldn't really empathize with her. Then again, he didn't often make a habit of empathizing with Demons.
"Don't call me that." He grumbled, deciding to awkwardly pat her on the head with his right hand, leaving it there for a moment. "Maybe they got the wrong person? If she knew she was a traitor, why would she even come to the island?" That part didn't make sense; if he knew he was a traitor to something, he would make a very obvious point to stay clear of it. It only made sense!
"Alright, come on." He sighed, letting her cling to his arm as it became clear that he wasn't about to get rid of her any time soon.

Arachne finally managed to get to her feet, not really aware of much, a dull ache in her head and a slight dizzy feeling lingered, and she looked around gingerly, spying Elizabeth with Mac and followed wordlessly after them, determined not to leave their side, or Sepheran's again - if they were going to be lost and confused she at least wanted some constant..
She would choose where to go with the group, but the Lighthouse sounded like the best bet - a large beacon, a big light source sounded good right then to her.

minipet profile: Here
Vaith was so confused. Completely and utterly confused. When was he not? Oh wait, the answer to that would be "never." The reaper stood there rather dumbly (he seemed to be doing that quite a bit, nowadays.) So they defeated a mysterious entity that just walked away-- or more like disappeared away into oblivion.
Vaith sorta sat there with his bag and book, looking vaguely out of place. He was. They were standing in a forked road. Only one way to decide. Vaith carefully ripped three pieces of paper from the old book, eventually crumpling them up and shaking them in his hand. A manual randomizer as it seemed-- one fell from his hands, his palms opening a bit.
That was the one.
The paper landed on a road. Off to Cornfields he went.
It would have been easier with a pencil. Except a pencil had seven.. or six sides?

"Your knee? You'll be okay, right? " If more things like this were ahead, that knee probably wouldn't help none and Colette worried. The last field trip was awfully dangerous and this one didn't seem any safer -- it actually felt more dangerous.
Colette tilted her head questioningly at the mention of horns. It didn't sound like Barth was phased all too much at the kidnapping. "Horns? Well, uh.. I guess he wouldn't mind?" It was strangely trivial for what was going on. The opponent probably wasn't picky with skulls either, and she wouldn't be surprised if horns added value or something. She wouldn't mention it though; Barth did have some of the biggest horns she'd seen yet and she guessed that suggestion probably wouldn't make him feel any better.
After poking at the spot she had been hit at, Colette shrugged and shook her head. "I think I'm alright, actually, she said. "And this fog... it's terrible." She could hardly see anything most of the time! And speaking of the island and location..
Colette held up her map. "The hooded person dropped some stuff. Did you grab any? I think I might head for the abandoned town.. maybe there's supplies there too." Abandoned sounded nice -- maybe there would also be a lower chance of running into these cloaked people. She hoped. For that and some food too.
(( [EDIT] Colette will be going on to the abandoned town! Actual exit post will come in next reply to RP. [/EDIT] ))

It was over? The fog was gone and their opponent was done. Or so it seemed. Rosc fell to his knees clutching his ears as his vision went haywire, his wings shaking in pain. Oh Jack, why?! What the hell was going on? His body doubled over and then... Then it was just gone. His ears were still ringing, his head still hurt, but his vision started to waver back into what clarity he could have in this place. One hand left his head to prop himself up as his body still shook. "What in Jack's name was that...?" he asked, his voice strained. He looked up for Sin wondering if she was okay. (( Reeshie))

The figure really didn't know when to quit did he? its actions didn't make sense to Damien. Why was he just standing there, not doing a thing except running its mouth? And- Aw Jack! The noise, the noise was not good. Just when it decided to escalate, it stopped, but the ringing took some time to fade away. Oh he was going to get such a wallop! But when he opened his eyes to find the target. It was gone. Feeling rather dumb, he decided that the threat was gone for now and put his weapon away in his bag for safekeeping and.. was that a bit of paper over there? Hey, the fog is letting up. It was nice to be able to see around him again, to find them all standing at a crossroads, paths branching out in four general directions, one of which was back to the camp from what he could tell. The papers were picked up in the sea breeze as it carried it and fell against his leg, fluttering wildly from the breeze. upon closer inspection, the papers had info on a few areas that could be looked at. "How interesting." he muttered to himself, as his eyes caught the words Abandoned town.Maybe there was something there. With his mind made up, he decided to get on the path leading there, and hope it wasn't a mistake he'd soon regret. ( Minipet profile *will edit in exactly where he;s going when he figures it out* )

Everything was happening so fast and suddenly Carry the pride demon was gone, the mysterious figure was gone. Sin was shaking, her shoulder throbbed a bit and her ankle wobbled under her. Her ears were still ringing but she was scared now, really scared. ChristmasTown had been so different, cold and miserable yes, but nothing there had made demons vanish. Her mothers bedtime horror stories of reapers capturing demons came to her in a frightful rush. She couldn't stop shaking even as she stumbled towards Rosc and eyed the map.
"We have to go...let's keep moving away from everyone..." She wrapped her arms around herself and felt her whole body shudder before she tried to force herself to be calm. "We...we have to find Alcyone and Viveca..now." Her voice almost cracked, she was scared now and a realization struck her. Despite all the wild emotions floating around she wasn't getting any FEAR. This place was apparently some horrible no FEAR zone like when the JOY of ChristmasTown had blocked them off from their sustenance.
"Let's go...let's go now...that way..." She pointed towards where the map was markedabandoned town. Her fingers grasped Rosc's afraid to let him go, afraid of the fog. "Let's go...now..." She started to feel frantic and took a deep breath. She had to keep it together, calm down, calm...but it was hard.((Profile: roxyroxanna ))

She was trembling, Rosc would have to be completely blind, and probably mentally handicapped as well, to miss that. Get up, damnit. He stood slowly, picking up his makeshift weapon in the process, and hugged her as soon as he was standing.
"Let's go back to the beach, they're probably still there." He stepped back, though his free hand remained on one of her shoulders, his thumb rubbing slightly. His arm was still sore, but it wouldn't bother him enough to really worry about it.
"We'll find your friends and then head to this town, okay?"

"Okay..." She managed to murmur softly and nodded trying to remain calm. Rosc was right Alcie and Vivi were probably on the beach, they would find them and then hopefully all four of them could get to the abandoned town. Maybe there would be shelter there...and food since FEAR wasn't an option. She kept close to Rosc afraid to loose him, to fail him the way she had failed Alcyone and Viveca...and Junko was probably out there too oh jack. Riley and Malodore...but they could handle themselves Ripley was strong, and she had to be strong now too.
"Okay...let's go..." She sounded less jittery now, and the shaking had subsided into only the occasional cold shiver. They headed towards the beach and he path towards the abandoned town.

((Profile here, I am on spring break so Holly was lost in the fog for this, sorry! Edit: Off to Abandoned Town! )) Holly had no idea what had just happened at all. Nor did she care. She'd been lost in the fog more or less and had found some friends. Then got lost in the fog again but then saw a bunch of students and who knows what had happened. Oh well she'll find out later. The ghoul noticed the fog was letting up which thankfully meant she could see where she was going now. First things first she was going to find someone to hang out with and then decide where to go from there. ((Gonna decide via prp real quick where to go then post again here biggrin ))

(( Profile! I'll be deciding where West is off to soon and coming back to edit it in right here: Abandoned Town! )) The wrath demon dropped his bat and clamped his hands over his ears as his mind was assaulted with high-pitched crying and screeching. A sort of muffled gurgle-shriek issued from his throat, followed by a, "Hey!" as Carry was taken. How dare they! She was no traitor! Screw this mess. While nearly everyone else remained in various states of mental assault recovery or planning, West angrily gathered his things and ventured back into the fog to find Holly.

When the figure reappeared Mandy had been so happy at their defeated state that she was completely unprepared for what happened next. Dropping to the ground as the screech rang out she clutch at her poor ears, so caught up in the pain that she almost missed the demoness being kidnapped. Still she did catch one thing, the word, traitor. That really made no sense to Mandy seeing as she was 90% sure that was one of the avarice and she could vouch that Barth, West and in part Simone where good and in her mind that meant they wouldn't hang with a traitor. Mistaken identity then? Whatever it was she couldn't help so instead she picked herself up, glanced at the stuff left by the figure and made her way off into the fog to find her group again.
