Odd felt a bit put-out by the more experienced trainers getting at the goon but seeing how it fought made him realize that he probably wouldn't have stood a chance against it. Especially with his limited battling experience. But it also made him want one of those Pokemon for himself even more. Seeing RC's plan have him an idea and he released his Chingling.

"Bas-" Before he could finish speaking, the Chingling hopped forward and used an attack he'd never seen before. The "Ribbons" on it's head seemed to pulse and waver for a moment before a solid wave of energy pulsed off of them in Liepard's direction. Psyshock was definitely a new move and definitely not what he'd been planning.

Lykas hung back and watched the other deal with the goon. "Seems someone can't even tell what shape his round table is." He quipped from the back. What could be more fun that calling someone an idiot while they're too distracted to even defend themselves?

"More like a thousand..." Ceramew commented.

"Oh, this should be a fun sight." Sol recalled his Rattata. This was going to be fast.


"Psychic? You're a raving idiot. Liepard-" To the man's surprise, Liepard was hit. And by hit, it was more of the nature that involved careening into walls at high speeds. While the guy stood there, utterly dumbfounded. The wave only served to send it further.

And if that wasn't enough, a Pokeball went sailing, past the shocked guy's face. It found its way to the Liepard, slamming into it and opening up to snare it.

"What the hell did you just do!?" He screamed as the ball wobbled, looking to see Sol take a device off and put it back away.

"Oh, nothing. Chivalry is dead, let me tell you. You're not too upset at this, are you?"

Suddenly, pouty Odd is pouty. "I wanted to do that....." He'd get over it eventually. He already had two Pokemon he needed to get used to and learn to work with. a third would only make the task even more time-consuming and difficult. Maybe it was for the best that Sol snagged it instead. and besides. Maybe he could get the hybrid to trade with him later?

"Oooooh. You just got served, b***h." Lykas jeered from the back of the group. Not only did the guy get his pokemon propelled into a wall at probably 60 miles-per-hour, but he got it snagged out from under him, too. Such a lovely team this was. Seeing theft on such a regular basis kept him inspired and happy.

"Well then, you guys sure showed him. Insult him, defeat him in a battle, snag his Pokemon, and then send him running off crying. You guys make me so proud!" Sub said with a laugh as he watched the guy run out of the tower. "I guess even the Unova region have their freaks, that's good to know, I guess..." He shrugged. "Strange Pokemon you snagged there Sol."

"I believe we could have done without that, but a trip isn't a trip without some unforeseen circumstance. This one just happened to result in a "companion" being liberated." Sol said, and shrugged. "People like those have never been on a good side of mine. But you're right, it is an oddity. I've seen nothing like it. If you'd like, I've no problems handing it over to you when the chance arises."


Ceramew, on the other hand, visibly cringed. Something just came to mind, and it was enough to make her feel that snagging it was a much better fate. "...I dun wanna imagine what he'd do to that Pokemon at night..."

Akio stopped paying attention at the mention of Liepard being a Dark Type. There were only a few dark types he knew of that interested him, but this didnt seem to be one of them. Instead, he was looking around the tower, look for any markings on the walls or anything of interest.

Sol was quick to check, wanting some confirmation. Sure enough, when he found its information, it was listed as a Dark-type. "Hm. So it is. And more geared for stealth tactics, as Lykas said."

He turned to Akio after putting the device away, watching his actions for a second. Was something up?


Ceramew floated there, silent. She was thinking of that weird guy dressed as a knight, not of Sub. This didn't save her from the image of him doing unspeakable things to that Liepard. "...Thanks, now I want some of that stuff. How's it work?"
