The next scene looked for a moment like there was just a still image... but that was only for the fact that no people were stepping into and out of it. Not a soul was in sight, and there was barely any motion either, save for the blowing of dust across the landscape. It was empty. It was barren.

It was a ruin.

Before them was a depiction of the Earth Kingdom... completely destroyed.

First Sailor Earth had the Golden Crystal in the palms of her hands... and now this.

Note to self... never trust senshi, even if they claim to be from earth. Even if they were supposed to be PROTECTING earth. "Some major s**t went down..." She said under her breath. Biting her lip her eyes were wide at the scene. Was it really in sailor earths right to destroy the kingdom she protected?

"... I'm not surprised..." Zinkenite replied quietly, small wonder that she would take the crystal and this...THIS would be the result. It was a reflection of Lyra's home world, and no doubt every other senshi out there if even one like Lyra was capable of such destruction

They could blame it on anything they wanted, but it seemed that destruction followed them at all times. This could not be allowed to happen again. His fist clenched so tight his knuckles were white and the cloth of his gloves creaked under the strain.

Where there more mirrors? Why had there been no soldiers like themselves there to fight, did they not -exist- yet? That was a hard thing to accept, unless they were created because of such an incident.

After the last two losses, Mica couldn’t say that she was unhappy that the temple was seemingly devoid of Senshi. She wasn’t about to hope for a break, but this temporary reprieve was welcome. It at least would give Mica and her comrades enough time to brace themselves for any imminent battles.

Mica had followed the others into the temple, eyeing the soundless story portrayed in the mirror. She watched the ancient Sailor Senshi show off for the crowd, frowning as the people seemingly took delight in her display. Fools. If she had such impressive power, how did they plan to stop her if she proved a threat? She might be the Senshi of Earth, but no one was infallible. No one.

On the other hand, Mica couldn’t decide how she felt about the simple existence of a Sailor Earth. Thus far she had justified the fighting – and yes, killing – of Senshi to herself in part by saying that they were aliens, invaders. If there really was a Senshi of Earth, she could hardly be an invader. Furthermore, it looked like she had been friendly with the Moon brat. Surely she hadn’t condoned the aliens’ rule, had she? If any Senshi had a right to the throne – only in a hypothetical situation, of course – it would be the Senshi of Earth.

Of course, that begged the question of what had happened to Sailor Earth.

Mica watched Sailor Earth grab what was apparently the Golden Crystal with a hint of confusion, which only increased when the next mirror showed a destroyed Earth Kingdom. Sailor Earth had destroyed the Earth Kingdom? Mica stared at that mirror with a raised eyebrow; it simply didn’t make sense. Even for a Senshi, that seemed like a stupid, crazy thing to do, but Mica didn't comment on the matter.

And if there was, by some ludicrous chance, some sapient force trying to teach them a lesson through all this, perhaps it was just that. If they couldn't even trust in the senshi of the Earth, then what did that mean about the senshi of outer stars? Could they all be as power-hungry, as destructive as this one was? Was that just the nature of them -- that those born as senshi were destined to abuse the abilities they had?

If that were so... and if Elysion really had that much influence over the earth... they had no choice. No senshi could be trusted. They had to drive them all out.

With a disturbingly high-pitched cackle, Apatite led them down one more bend in the corridor. This time, it led them, undoubtedly, to their final destination.
