Hiru protested as the girl dragged him along, but his legs moved with her regardless. Now she was running. Great, this girl was into something, and she was dragging him along with her. Not only that, but his legs kept wanting to give out. It was as if they were made of rubber. Eventually, he tripped over a branch jutting out of the ground, falling flat on his face. The moment he hit the ground, his bones cracked and shattered inside of him. All at once, an intense pain shot through his whole body, and then it was gone. He rolled over to see several places where his bones had broken through the skin. He was falling apart like a glass doll down a flight of stairs.

Hiru looked up at the girl, now a couple yards ahead of him. She didn't appear to be stopping. Well, if she left him there, then he would die, and that would be the end of it. The black liquid was now running from every open hole in his body. As for the soldiers, they stopped when they saw the horrific sight of his contorted body oozing stinking, black tar from its wounds. The whole twisted feature made them all hesitate, gagging all at once when the stench caught them. Even if unintentionally, Hiru had suddenly created quite a large window for the girl to escape through. If she hurried, she could get far enough away to lose them in a very short time.

"GAH! What is that awful smell!?" One of the soldiers cried out as he covered his face. Their eyes were watering as the stink of rotting flesh filled the air. Another soldier chimed in, "OHH.... Is that even human!?" For a moment, they were completely distracted, taken aback by what was happening before them. As they watched in horror, Hiru reached up and grabbed one of the bones jutting out from his ribs, and with great ease, he pulled the bone out, dropping it on the ground next to him. He was still alive, and didn't appear to be letting up any time soon.

Hiru did in fact catch the word "nuisance," as it was the strongest word she had said. However, he was dealing with a certain nuisance of his own. He was trying to pick himself up, but he just couldn't. His body was broken and shattered, leaking the black fluid everywhere. As it spread out over the ground, it bubbled and spit, evaporating like before, and letting off that horrid stench of rotten flesh. If he didn't hurry, he could end up inside a pretty deep hole in the ground. Not to mention, this girl....

The soldier she had kicked stumbled back, but quickly regained his footing. "Why you little wench!" he spat at her. The one with her knife in his armor looked down at the blade halfway through his armor. It wasn't even long enough to break skin. With a smug grin, he threw his arm out to block the soldier she had kicked. "Wait a minute." His comrade looked at him with eyes furious, yet puzzled. The other soldier who was standing on the opposite side of her stood his ground, waiting. The man continued, "Our manners are absolutely barbaric. Should we really treat a lady as such?" He looked at his comrade, then to the other, and they all began smirking deviously. The one whom she had kicked chimed in, "Yes." Quickly, the three soldiers moved to surround her. Out here in the middle of the woods with no one but an injured man on the ground to witness, what could go wrong? The soldiers were indeed malicious in their intentions. As, seeing how she was unarmed, the odds appeared to be in their favor.

As Hiru watched from the ground, he became infuriated by the men's demeanors. Did they really intend to violate her? For reasons only he knew, he could not allow this to happen. With all the anger shaking through his bones, he began to tear out pieces of his bones one at a time. he wasn't really sure why, but he wasn't dying, and the bones were only making it more of an inconvenience to move. As the fragments hit the ground, they immediately melted into tiny puddles of black fluid which evaporated quickly, eating foot-sized holes into the ground. At last, he was able to sit up. One step completed. Now all he had to do was get back on his feet. *Move, Hiru! MOVE!!!*

"So, you wanna play, do ya? The soldier with her knife in his armor stepped underneath the branch, pulling an axe from the back of his leather belt. "This oughta be good." The other two chuckled as he swung the axe upward, cutting the branch closer to the trunk so that it would fall where she was standing.

Hiru completely lost it when he saw the soldier attack her. She was the only positive human contact he'd had since he's been here. After seeing her climb up the tree, he wasn't worried about her being able to defend herself, or flee, if necessary. It simply infuriated him to see this. He didn't realize it at the time, but he had never gotten this angry over any other person, since....

Well, never mind that for now. Hiru, in a fit of anger towards the lecherous men, leapt up to his feet. His bones were cracking, and his legs were trembling in short, violent bursts. However, the soldiers were paying no attention to him. they were all staring up into the tree. With one more burst of rage, a series of energy waves went pulsating through his body from the demon. One by one, the four remaining bones sticking out of him were shot through the air like daggers, hitting the soldier that had been standing by in the throat and lower abdomen. The soldier with the knife in his armor just barely missed his nose being torn off his face, and the one she had kicked got the last one in the leg.

The soldier that got hit in the leg cried out in pain as he bent over to gawk at the bone that had pierced his armor. It had been thrust at a high enough velocity that it didn't stop until it was halfway through the bone in his leg. Unable to withstand the pain, he doubled over on the ground, groping his leg and crying out bloody-murder. This would only serve to draw more attention to them. That was exactly what the last soldier needed - reinforcements. Although he didn't completely understand what was going on, he knew that this guy was something more than human, and that it would take unconventional use of force to dispose of this new threat.

Yoshimodo walked threw the plains then stop to look at the sky, but the he paused and noticed an old rival of his behind him with his sword near Yoshimodo's neck
