Aksaja settled back to watch the fun until the bottle landed on him - which he actually hoped that it did, at some point. He rather liked kissing, and gender was SO not an issue with the lightning dragon. Just about everyone here was attractive in one way or another, so he was fine with kissing anymore. More fine with some people, of course. But that was only to be expected.
He had to suppress a snort of amusement at the SO obviously displeased looks on the first two boils' faces - neither of which he really knew. But that didn't matter. It was still hilarious. Then the bottle landed on their hostess next. Hmm . . . now how would she handle the rules of her own game?

Oh, she murmured liquidly as she moved to sit up straight. You'll see. Her voice sounded deep, dark, and deliciously devious. A lot of d's, you might say. Just wait until it lands on me. If it even does - the hand of fate may save this group from certain nightmares just yet. Her eyes slit and shaped into moons, clearly amused at herself.

Twisting back around briefly to glance at Gabrian, Ren said cheerfully "Yes, actually, I've been told that many times. I never take it seriously. Besides," he added cheekily. "It's not like you're any less obnoxious than I am. After all - "
Ren leaned over towards LW, stage whispering with one hand up to his face "He said he'd bite me first."
His cheerful expression flickered somewhat, however, when he heard the other speaking to Alessa. Leaving Claire momentarily, patting her hand, he made his way back over to the nix. He debated saying something to Gabrian, but at the last second changed his mind. If anything, it might have made those around them feel uncomfortable. So instead he knelt in front of Alessa, holding his hand out.
"Milady, may I offer you a seat over there?" Ren asked lightly, tilting his head towards the opposite side of the circle and offering her a smile. "Methinks you'll have a more pleasant time if you spend time with those who will enjoy your company, such as myself. And I'm sure our lovely hostess would love to make your acquaintance as well."
He hoped he wasn't being too forward. After all, it wasn't as if he were trying to embarrass her or make her feel singled out. But he had seen the flash of frustration and irritation in her eyes when she was speaking to the nix, and hearing the words he had to say back at her, he couldn't help but feel a little sorry for her. Besides, LW seemed to know how to handle Gabe; perhaps she'd be able to keep him calmer.
"What say the lady?" Ren said softly, resting his head on his knees, hand still outstretched.

She was not in any way watching a certain particular gryphons butt right now. Nope. The she-wolf had Gabe as a good distraction. The owlish look she gave him in response to being 'nipped' lasted for all of a heartbeat before LW was laughing all over again. "Oh, you poor demon." Yeah, like she was really being sympathetic right now. It was hilarious! "It was just a little love n**, no need to make a big fuss about that." LW gave his leg a pat before turning to glance at Ren. "Oh did he now...?" With a snort of amusement and a quick sideways glance to the Nix again, she looked at Alessa.
"You're most welcome, by the way. I hope that he," LW gestured towards Ren, "and I are able to help. I don't want you to be uncomfortable." That made the game less fun. Smiling to her, LW looked back at Gabe and an eyebrow slowly started to climb its way up her forehead as he spoke to Alessa.
Of course she giggled at him before reaching up (and she did have to reach) to pat his head this time. "Down boy." Man was she glad that she and Ren sat between these two right now (which it sounded like Ren was trying to help by having Alessa move). "I won't save you from the wrath of a female. I'll watch." Winking, she leaned in a little closer to say in a softer voice. "You know you secretly liked that 'n**' too." A pause. "Methinks it is a monster trait as well." LW snapped her jaws lightly at him before sitting back up with an innocent expression. If she made it out of this evening without Gabrian clobbering her, it would probably be a miracle.

Having listened to the games rules, Astra kept quiet until the bottle had landed on another boil, and as the two had shown obvious displeasure and then kissed, she covered her mouth to smother the torrent of giggles that had threatened to escape. It was hilarious! She couldn't help but to fall backwards as she continue to prevent herself from laughing out loud at the antics. Eventually she calm down enough to sit up and continue to watch and wait for her turn in the game. Well, she hoped she would get a turn! it was starting to look like a lot of fun. If not then it would be entertaining at the very least.

"I'm not being inconsistent, I said I was going to play for myself and I am. And you can be a jerk to me all you like, but do your really have to berate other people for trying to be helpful, because I don't think...I don't think that's fair." Alessa argued, clearly getting heated and overwhelmed with their fighting. The last bit he mentioned actually shut her up and not in a good way. She looked rather confused and perhaps a little hurt too. "I don't..."
Thank Jack for Ren. She blinked a few times, clearly embarrassed, or perhaps startled, but the tightness lifted a bit from her chest. "A-alright," she said very quietly, as if the arguing had stole her voice away. She took his head, ready to follow him across the circle. Accepting help was not something she usually enjoyed, but right now she wanted it more than anything, because this room, for more than one reason, had set her on edge and she needed the comfort. She managed to peek sideways at LW too and offered a sincere, but still quiet, "...Thank you."

The look he gave Alessa clearly voiced that he wasn't berating LW or Ren, actually, that he was berating her and her alone. In fact, his words to the rabbit ghoul had been much more harsh than any he'd tossed at the gryphon; they betrayed how he really felt, and weren't a facade like the ones tossed at earlier at the other boil. He didn't open his mouth as she shut up, nor did he act when Ren swooped in to rescue her, but he didn't need to. The way his eyes narrowed, snake like in fashion seemed to tell her that yes, she did. He followed her with his gaze the entire time, still narrowed, and only blinked out of whatever daze he'd been in when he felt a hand on top of his head.
LW's simple gesture seemed to snap him out of it, and the nix blinked a couple more time, harshness washing away from his expression, "I've been on the receiving end of her wrath too many times to count. I thought she deserved to know how I felt about it," the coldness had drained from his voice and he seemed to be relatively back to normal as he took in a deep breath and relaxed back down, the small scareon in his lap turning to watch the gryphon and the rabbit ghoul in the distance. He frowned again as she spoke, but it was a confused expression, "What is?" a pause, "The nipping you mean?" he didn't feel the need to protest or lean away when she leaned forward, instead watching her curiously.
Unlike a lot of demons, he had very little problem with other factions. This did not please his sister, or his parents for that matter, but it had never bothered him, "Oh?" he felt his brows hide under his long fringe and he had to fight the smirk that was tugging at the corner of his lips, "Down, girl," amusement seemed to tinge his voice as he regarded the wolf, "Are you hinting at something?" he turned only to notice Astra out the corner of an eye, noting the way she was laughing and offered her a suffering glance, "It wasn't that funny."

Giving Alessa a small smile, Ren curled his fingers lightly around hers, tugging her easily to her feet. Tossing a quick glance over his shoulder at LW, as if to signal to her to do something about the nix (or, if anything, just to get him to shut up, period), Ren led the nagual back across the room. He let her sit down beside Claire this time, leaving a spot beside Alessa for himself and crouching in front of her.
"Don't worry about it, okay?" Ren whispered, his voice low enough for only Alessa to hear. He squeezed her hand gently, trying to reassure her. Despite the fact that he was still getting to know her, there was something about her that was curious and unique, something he couldn't quite put his finger on. "Things only seem bad if you let them be that way."
Raising his hand, Ren put a finger to his lips, winking at Alessa. "Besides, there are much more interesting things to think about than a stuffy old snake, aren't there?" He reached up, resting his hand on the top of her head briefly (her hair was really very soft) before turning his attention back to their host for the evening.
"Well, Claire?" he said cheerfully. "I'm ready for that kiss of yours now~!"

Her smile to Alessa was sweet and warm. The she-wolf seemed to like the ghoul. She was also happy that Alessa seemed to be comforted by having Ren nearby, which left the one she was sitting next to for her to deal with. Oh joy! LW gave Ren a dirty look and a wink. The two could discuss this later. Right now, she had a Nix to make stop talking. Per a certain gryphon's look.
LW wasn't fazed in the slightest by the harshness that appeared around Gabe. She merely looked at him as if watching a child that was throwing a tantrum. Not a bad comparison actually. The she-wolf watched his features change from the harsh one, to mostly normal to reaction to what she had actually said.
Her tail had moved until it was resting behind herself and the Nix. She let it gently thump in once. Violet eyes held mischief and amusement in them. "What?" Lw feigned innocence. "Me? Hinting at something?" The she-wolf laughed softly and playful smacked at Gabe's arm. "I think...you're giving me too much credit." Her lips curled into a sly smile before glancing at the other one that was laughing. LW giggled and gave a small wave to Astra. "Shhhh. Yes it was." She winked at Astra and nudged the Nix before glancing across to stick her tongue out when Ren looked over again.

With her eyes still watering, Her antenna twitched when she saw Gabe was looking at her, although he wasn't looking to impressed. She may have felt a little guilty, but it soon vanished once LW waved and gave her a wink. With a grin she waved back, delighted that someone else thought the same way as her.

[sorry for delayed reply!]
Good! The game had started well. Claire giggled as the two boils had to kiss. The boil who the bottle landed on first had his turn. She waited to see who the bottle would land on. As it slowed down, she saw that it was, in fact, heading in her direction. Oh candlejack. Claire had never been kissed before. Ever. Apart from her mother. But not her father. But that's another story. She looked the boil straight in the eyes and took his hand. She looked around at Tsets and gave a weak smile. Then, she closed her eyes and moved closer to the boil. Her other hand touched his cheek as she gave him a soft kiss on his lips. She didn't know how long kisses were supposed to last, so she made it go for a timed 3 seconds. Very precise.
She then got up, still a bit shaken from the kiss to spin the bottle. "Uh... Ok. Here goes..." she murmured, spinning it.
The bottle finally slowed, landing on none other than Myr. As Claire remembered, he was the first boil to join them. She looked at him and beckoned him. She couldn't be bothered dragging herself over there. "You ready?"

Sarias had to stifle a laugh when Gabe took the bait of her 'sloppy seconds' comment. She thought it was cute the way he became all flustered over something as simple as a statement, his pride was obviously his first port of call. He would end up getting hurt more often than not if he continued to shoot his mouth off like he did to that nagual girl. yes she was more than prepared for the effects of her sharp tongue, she welcomed it, she loved meeting a challenge, someone who stood up to her. It showed strength. But always keep a little back to battle another day, to shower someone with everything? Where is the fun next time?
She watched as Claire puckered up to the gryphon boy, she could sense the nervousness emitting from her. Although Sarias had never kissed either she found far more things nervous than connecting orifices together. Like the way the mind flayer looked altogether to pleased with herself. Her eyes, they revealed way too much.

It was clear from Claire's expression that she was nervous - very, very nervous. Ren let her take his hand in hers, leaning forward and accepting the soft (very soft, and very light) kiss she gave to him. Ren's lips curved up in a smile against hers (he could feel her hand shaking against his cheek, which made her all the more endearing), and afterwards he grinned at her, reaching out to ruffle her hair playfully.
"Many thanks, pretty lady," he said cheerfully, and stood, giving another sweeping bow. "You are a lovely ghoul."
Ren made his way back over to Alessa now, flashing a wink in LW's direction before sitting down beside the rabbit nagual. He stretched his legs out in front of him, crossing them at the ankles, and let himself relax (not that he wasn't outrageously calm already, but he felt pretty at ease at the moment), bumping his shoulder gently against Alessa's.
"How goes it now, Miss Rabbit?" he said, tilting his head to look at her.

Alessa allowed Ren to lead her to her new seat beside Claire, settling Shiro carefully in her lap once she'd settled. "Yes, I suppose so..." she agreed, still feeling a bit dazed though. But he was right. If she let it get to her, than it would. She needed to focus on something else, on enjoying herself the best she could. She owed herself that and well...frankly she owed Ren and LW too for being so nice. She needed to buck up so she wasn't a bother to them anymore. Taking a deep breath, eyes closed briefly, she tried to calm herself. It worked enough that she was relaxed when she caught the end of Ren and Claire's kiss, enough to notice how sweet it had been. It made her feel odd, but in a more positive way than she'd felt all night.
At the pressure of his shoulder she returned it with her own, not even meaning to, but it was soothing. "Better," she told him, the honesty in her voice matching her small smile. She turned her gaze out to look at the other students around the circle, waiting for the next kiss to take place. "I...guess this isn't so bad." She seemed to mean that, too, though she'd still like to think kisses were at least meant to be personal. It wasn't her game of choice but...there was no need to run for the hills, not...really.
