She gaped at him. "But... i...isn't that permanent? What about when you change your mind?" She wouldn't be responsible for his regretting his decisions. Though... the idea of having someone... and for all his odd ideas, he was easy to talk to...

She shivered slightly, overwhelmed by the possibility. A permanent companion... and he seemed to want to do this... but.. she couldn't justify trapping him like that. It wasn't fair. "A temporary agreement...."

"Temporary?" he asked, feeling sad. But it was... something. Progress, yeah? He shook himself mentally. It was a chance to prove to her, to earn permanence. Patience wasn't a virtue, it was THE virtue. And she was well worth working for and waiting for. "What did you have in mind, my lady?"
