(OOC: Right, just in case Ultima hasn't noticed this by now stare .... ) {Feather, I'm sorry to say, but I don't these guys can think,} Sora replied bluntly as he encountered absolutely nothing in his attempt to reach them. Tsubasa refused to give up, however, and she simply with a, {Option two, then!} as she brought her lute out. While Tsubasa was busy getting her song ready, Sora easily dodged the attempted attack by one of the beasts at them. All he needed to do was go up a bit more seeing how he was far above their heads in the first place. He was Feather's wings for the moment and the two of them had taken to the skies as soon as danger appeared. Her lute out, Feather began to play Taming Tune, hoping that it would work, [1/14]
Taming Tune [Forbidden Friendship] Rank: C or A Limits: Must have an instrument and be able to learn minstrel skills. Must remain in one spot while playing. Four post cool-off period. Description: At C-rank, the soothing and trusting notes of Taming Tune can be used to tame wild animals to become the caster's pets, summons, etc. To tame wild animals, the song must be played for the number of posts it'll take to learn a summon of the monster's rank. Every post, a six-sided dice must be rolled: 1-4 mean that the summon is still wild and attacking while 5-6 mean that the summon has calmed down and will remain passive for the remainder of the song. If a 6 hasn't been rolled by the end of the song, the taming has failed. At A-rank, Taming Tune can be used to render the summons of others, including biochemists, useless. While it lasts for 5 posts, the summons will only be hypnotized by the music by the second post. For a post after the song is finished, the summons will start to wake up, but will still be unable to enter the battle again until the second post after the song is finished.

(OOC: So... obviously headhunters can hear confused ? Right then, better for me 4laugh ! To save time, I'll just go through the rest of the 13 posts in chunks and without necessarily waiting for a reply. If anyone objects, feel free to tell me and I'll edit sweatdrop .) Feather continued to play the song, following the curves gracefully and imbuing each note with her feelings. The girl didn't even pause to see the kind of effect it had on the Headhunters, but she could tell from Sora's ever so slight relaxation that they had been calmed down by her tune. Feather didn't think herself, though, she simply played. [2/14] This was her element, this was what she was born to do. Playing music was so enjoyable and so harmless, Tsubasa enjoyed it. Through it, she could express all the feeling she ever wanted, and no one would be offended by it. It was a secret language of sorts for the girl, one that only she understood because only she could truly interpret the music she made. [3/14] the girl thought as she felt her focus slip off the intent of her song. Taming Tune was meant to calm wild beasts, it was gradually becoming something else, something more based on what Feather was currently feeling. No, she couldn't lose focus on her task, not if she wanted to end this fight without bloodshed. [4/14]
Despite her noble intentions, the girl couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. She couldn't deny that Taming Tune was a song meant to enslave in a way. One it worked, it gave the beast who was under its influence no choice. That was why she always used it only as a last ditch maneuver. When it boiled down to it, this was a skill for battle, even if it did build relationships. [5/14]
The girl, feeling lacking in her determination, put more effort into her song. If she couldn't do things the right way, then she would do them the best she could. Contacting the headhunters didn't work, Sora had said so, so the only option open to Feather was what she was doing now. If she had to do it, then she would honor her targets and put as much of her own effort into it as she could. [6/14]
The girl continued, trying her best to connect to the emotions and feelings of the headhunters she was trying to forcefully convince with her music. She wanted to peer into their hearts and see what they needed, wanted. She wanted to know why they attack her and Haruki. If there was anything she could do to help. The girl tried to sympathize, and put her feelings into the music. Her eyes, which she had closed, the girl opened so she could see how they were reacting to the song she played. [7/14]

Haruki shrugged, how odd that they would just stop attacking like that. He restrained himself from punching through their bodies for Flower's sake. He got in to a good position behind the headhunters and clenched his hands. He didn't want to attack without Flower agreeing to it, he knew these monsters would die if he tried hard enough, and personally...he liked his head on his own shoulders.

(OOC: Well, as the song is described at the moment, once a 5 or a 6 is rolled, the creature remains passive for the remainder of the song. I figured it would be a good idea to have that when I made the skill and up until now, especially since it took me about 20+ tries to get a 6, but this scenario is just a bit ridiculous. Guah.... Back to the drawing board with this skill I guess gonk ?... The problem with having the creature go wild again after rolling a 5 or a 6, is that logically, to tame the creature, you'd also have to roll a 5 or a 6 on the very last post. There's such a slim chance of that happening that it makes the skill useless as a taming song. So…. What should I do?... Putting this fight on hold just to get this song edited seems a bit much…. Grah, sorry, I'm not thinking very clearly right now. Trying to rush everything since I'm technically not supposed to be on the computer >_< .)

((I guess we can't have this thing on hold much longer. I say we just keep going. At your last music post, you must make the role thought.))
The Head hunter's swerve their shoulder, left to right, following the flow of the music playing. It's pretty much hard to tell what's their problem, since they have no head to show any emotion, but there's always body movement. The two head hunter putted their arms over each others shoulder, like they were best buddy. Together they swovy along with the music, they look a bit depress, from the way they keep slouching their shoulder's and arms. If only they would drop their weapon and the head they still holding onto, than this would seem less creepy.

((hmm, your trying to tame it, right? Well it looks like you have to do a few post, keep going with it. do one more of your post's in your one reply but since it may be the last one taming, add the rolling on it too. We will see if you actually tamed it from all those post. If not, big whoop, looks like we are gonna to fight.))

(OOC: Right then. Although, with the current description of the skill, I did just tame it....)
So far everything was alright. However, the tricky part had yet to come. There was still the chance that the creatures would snap out of their reverie and come at her. The girl's throat clenched at the idea and her hand's shook. However, she quickly loosened herself once more. [8/14]
Tilting her head to the sky, Feather focused on the white clouds and the light blue that surrounded them. Then she looked at the deeper blue of the parts of the sky that were completely cloudless. While not many people thought of it as such, the sky was an untamed wilderness. There were few man-made objects traversing across it. To tame the sky... that was an impossible feat. However, it was with the feeling of taming the sky that Feather continued to play. [9/14]
The girl tilted her head back down and enjoyed the peaceful sight of the Head Hunters. They were quite fun it seemed, and she would enjoy it immensely if she could learn more about them. They were likely interesting, all beings were. Everyone had their own story. the girl struck a chord that seemed to fit her mood. [10/14]
Feather continued to play the repeating themes of the Taming Tune. Its regularity, she made sure was soothing rather than boring. Each time she had to return to the beginning, the girl changed it ever so slightly. Once, she played it with a smooth flow. Then, after, she created a more rustic sound. [11/14]
The girl could tell she was approaching the end of the song. Below her, the Head Hunters seemed unchanged. However, Feather knew not to trust her eyes. Soon, all will be decided and she would need to end. Would the effects of her song remain, or would they be forgotten as soon as the music ends? [12/14]
One last time, Tsubasa began the song's theme. This time, she went back to the original. It was soft and peaceful, full of friendship with a hint of wildness. [13/14]
Now, was the time to find out for real. With a final strum, Feather let the last note linger in the air before she opened her eyes. Fearfully, the girl looked down at the two monsters, hoping with all her heart that they'd accept her music and be her companions. [14/14]

He knew Flower had her summoning, but still, he had to learn how to protect her if he didn't want to hurt her. "What did you do?" Haruki asked curiously. He still didn't seem overly serious while facing down death...some king he was.

((Well it said in the end if a 6 didn't appeared, than it didn't work. Looks like it time to fight! You can't always advoud these things.))
Something went wrong. The Head Hunter's stop their moment of the song and back standing up strait. The held their sword tightly in their one grip and back where they were.... angry. One of the Head Hunter thrown the cut head at them that they been hold this hole time. Since Haruki was standing in front of Tsubasa, he took the hit of an large man's head hit him with some of the blood on him.
The Second one Came up close to them, with the head would be distracting Haruki, the hunter kicked the little fry. It's mere of a kick back to both Haruki and Tsubasa for being behind him. Being on a mountain, it's most likely they would off fall off the steep hill.

Haruki wouldn't let himself be kicked off a hill, mostly since Flower would fall with him. Being the faster one here, and obviously focused after that last strike he side-stepped quickly and hoped Flower would dodge too, he didn't want to rsik her, but he didn't want to risk the both of them either. He aimed a powerful strike directly at the torso of the monster, he didn't want to hurt it too badly, but he would if it hurt his friend. He wasn't paying attention to the second one though.

(OOC: Guys, remember, Feather is flying thanks to Sora's wings, far out of reach of anyone.) Tsubasa bit her lip. The song had failed and she didn't think she would be able to perform the tune again until some time later. the girl thought as she flew higher in reaction to the kick. She didn't need to worry about dodging, the girl was too high for a kick to reach her. However, she could feel Sora beginning to tire on her back. Worried for him, Tsubasa maneuvered her way to a ledge high above the fight and took a break there as she waited for the right time to try Taming Tune once more.
As Sora rested, Feather did what she could to help Haruki dodge the monster's attacks. Plucking a specific note, the girl sent out a high-pitched shriek that had the chance of confusing the opponents. The move's name was Supersonic.
Supersonic Rank: D Limits: Musicians only. Description: Supersonic sends out a high-pitched vibration that confuses the enemy. When using it on a target that can't hear the vibrations, roll a six-sided dice: odd numbers mean that the enemy is confused and even numbers mean that the move failed. When using it on a target that can hear the vibrations, roll a four-sided dice: odd number mean that the enemy is confused, 2 means that the enemy's sense of hearing is messed up, and 4 means that the enemy's vision is messed up. Because Supersonic relies on vibrations and not actual sound, it can even be used on those who are deaf or who have blocked their sense of hearing in some form or another. The targets for Supersonic can be chosen freely by the user and the effects can last up to five posts (the user can choose a shorter duration if they want to). People in a confused state must roll a six-sided dice on every turn: even numbers mean that their attacks have somehow managed to hit them (no way to dodge this), 1 and 3 mean that their attacks have worked perfectly fine, and 5 means that their attack completely missed the intended target and caused absolutely no damage at all (this includes "lucky shots" that managed to miss the target but still cause harm by knocking over a pillar or something onto the target).
