♫Heidi looked over at Shane and listened to every word he said. She knew he was hiding his sadness and she was doing the same. She really screwed up. She didn't want to hurt Shane and she never should've even kissed him. It just happened. And now she was in this huge mess. She needed Shane, but she wanted Alec. She heard Shane say that she liked to drink because it made her feel numb. She let go of Alec and shook her head. "That has nothing to do with it! I drink because I want to! That's it." she said as she sighed and hooked her arm with Alec's. She turned around and started to walk away with Alec, knowing exactly how to relieve her stress.
She looked back at Shane when she heard his last question. "I don't give second chances." she said coldly before smirking at Casey and then turning back at Alec. She smiled at him brightly and laughed. "You're like the only thing right now that's making me smile. Let's see what else you can make me do." she said seductively as she kissed his cheek. She liked Alec because even though he was a druggie and a bady boy, he was the only one who seemed sane. The only one who was hot and could make her happy without even trying. The only one who didn't want her to change.

He cast one look at Heidi, he had made her hate him , without really trying. GREAT! Now I'm letting emotion get in the way of my counseling.

He especially loved the way Heidi touched him and rejected Shane. That made his heart soar. He pulled Heidi closer to his bare body as he walked away from Shane and Casey, giving the blonde in his arms a passionate kiss. He smirked at her for a moment. "Go to my cabin. I'll be there soon," he whispered seductively in her ear, nipping at her earlobe. The brunette sent Heidi off with a slap on the a** before turning to face Shane, eyes fierce.
"Look, a**, you may be here to try and help her but you can't. Not after what hell she's been through-- not after what hell we've all been through! We may sem broken to you, but if we are broken, we're broken beyond repair. So why don't you do us all a favor and leave?! Heidi doesn't need you. She's got Gail, Todd and I. We actually know what she needs. How to help her-- Oh, but wait," he paused and sneered at Shane, "someone already tired to help her. And look where he's At!" ♫Heidi nodded at Alec before she shivered in pleasure from him nibbling on her ear. She then laughed and blushed when he slapped her on the a**, but she just kept walking. She looked back for a moment to see where he was going and saw him walking back towards Shane. She slipped her hands in her pockets and watched as Alec yelled at him. Alec really did understand her. She really was broken beyond repair. That only made her heart beat for him more. As she watched him talk to Shane, she couldn't help but feel bad for causing this. She had hurt Shane, but he needed to give her some time. She had to find a way to make things right. She then saw Alec punch Shane in the jaw and she held her breath. She had really gotten herself into a huge mess.
She just sighed and ran off to Alec's cabin. She knew what she needed to distract her mind and to ease her stress, but she had to wait for Alec to get here. She just laid down on his bed and took a deep breath to calm herself down. Maybe it was a good thing her friend sent her here. Otherwise, she would've never met Alec or Shane. Or Gail or Todd. They were all so great. The only one she didn't like was Casey. Was it because Casey was always trying to be in charge and controlling? Well hell yes, but it was also because she just made it so easy to piss her off.

Her brown eyes widened as Hedi poured the Gin on Casey. Nikki didn't know Casey well but she could see that the girl was only trying to help. Even though Nicole had a timid personality, she also had a fierce, strong side to her that came out when she really needed it. These teens were out of control and Alec was her responsibility. She wasn't going to let him go and have sex with Hedi or do anything else.She had to do something. Although, part of her was screaming at her to stay behind and let them do what they wanted to. It was because she was scared, scared to speak her mind and possibly get hurt for doing it. Although, as she watched Alec punched Shane, she knew she had to intervene. Taking a deep breath, Nicole stepped forward and pushed Alec back forcefully. Her brown eyes burned with anger but fear lingered since she wasn't fully confident in what she was doing. The counselor glared hard at Alec as she thought of how to word what she was going to say. "Look here, buddy. I know you don't want to be here, I can see that. But you are stuck in this place until the end of the summer. Then you can go back to your old ways and do whatever you wan. But, until then, we are in charge and are to listen to us. And if you ever physically hurt another counselor again, I swear you will be in someplace a lot worse then here," Nikki told him firmly. She tried to make her voice sound as strong as she could. She just hoped it was enough. "I can't do anything about Hedi, but you are my camper and it's my job to make sure you stay in line. So you think that you're beyond broken but that isn't true. Maybe if you tried to change you'd see that! So, right now, we are going for a walk. When we get back, we are going to watch a movie and have pizza. So you stay put here until the other are ready to go. Got it? Good."
Nikki stepped back and pushed her brown hair out of her face. She made sure not to say that when they got back all their little drinks, needles, and pills would be gone. They could find out about that later. The girl glanced over her shoulder and Shane, making sure he was okay. Her brown eyes looked at Alec before she glanced over at Casey. "You okay? If you want to stay back I can lead the group on the walk?" she told the girl as she looked over her cloths which were soaked in the alcohol. They also had to get Hedi and Gail ready to go. Hopefully Gail hadn't caused any trouble since no one was paying any attention to her. Nikki was half tempted to get Hedi but knew that if she left Alec with Shane then bad things would happen. "Shane, go get Hedi and bring her here. We will leave for the walk when when everyone is here," she told the other counselor.

The brunette boy veered past the camp sign and kept running. He streaked down the street, wind and branches ripping at his bare chest and arms. When a large pine branch caught him in the face, Alec finally stopped. He rubbed the red spot, knowing a bruise would appear quickly. He sat in the dust below a tree, just on the side of the road. They knew nothing about him or Heidi! Nothing! They might think they know, but they don't. Or Gail. Or Todd, for that matter! They had hell-like lives. Hell-like! Nothing was normal. Not their families, not their friends and sure as hell not their brains. In the moments Alec had met Todd, he knew that he for sure was broken beyond repair. Along with Heidi. Good for her. She shouldn't let her teen push her arou--Shane broke off his thought and sighed, keeping his eyes open in case he'd run into Alec. Not literally of course. To Shane, Alec seemed like a good kid, they all did. Shane wasn't looking at the reason they were here. He didn't care that they were alcoholics, party people. Or whatever. ♫Heidi had walked back to see where Alec was. That was when Shane told her to stay with Nikki. She wondered what was going on and if Alec was alright. She glared once at Nikki before running off in the direction of Shane. She found herself in the forest, but she had lost sight of Shane. She kept herself calm and tried not to worry. "Alec! Alec are you out here?" she called out as she looked around for him. "Are you ok?" she called out. She wondered what they had said to him and why he was out here. But she had to find him first before she asked questions.

So, Alec just stayed silent. Shane didn't understabd. He didn't know. He didn't care. No one completely understood what he'd gone through and he wouldn't let anyone get inside his head. No way. Alec folded his arms, leaning his cheek against the rough bark of the pine. The smell was intoxicating. Fresh, wild. He couldn't help but smile to himself. The brunette's smile was wiped clean when he heard another voice calling out for him. Closer. Female. Heidi! Alec scrambled to his feet, wiping his face off. He jogged in the direction he heard the blonde's voice coming form and stopped when he was but a few feet away from her. His face and eye were red and his back had bark stuck in it, along with a small welt and scrape on his cheek. He knew he didn't look good, but he didn't care. ♫Heidi heard Alec's voice and she looked over at him. She saw that he looked like a mess, but he still seemed sexy. She heard him say he was sorry and she shook her head as she ran to him. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed the scrape on his cheek. "You don't have to apologize. It's ok." she said as she held him tightly. She wanted to know what had happened, but he didn't seem to be able to talk. She didn't care. She would do whatever she had to so that he would be ok. And if that meant just holding onto him, well then that's what she would do. She ran her fingers through his hair and smiled at him.
"Just relax ok? It's all done and over with. No worries." she said with a soft giggle as she held back her own tears. She wanted to break down, but she didn't see the point in it. She wasn't afraid to cry in front of others. It was just, that she needed to worry about Alec right now. He was the only thing that was important to her in this moment. The drama with Shane she could fix later. Whatever Casey had planned for her, she could deal with later. But she needed to be here for Alec now. She looked into his eyes and kissed him softly.

Casey only pushed her headband back and wrung out her shirt, then wiped her face on her sleeve. She wore no makeup; so her face still looked near perfect. She only smelled like gin. Casey watched Alec, then Heidi run off, and listened silently to Shane's outburst. If Shane thought others were going to judge him, then those who had judged him would have to deal with her. Absolutely no one was going to be judging anyone around here; not under Casey's watch. She was head counselor for a reason: she didn't tolerate crap, she'd be tough when she needed to be, and she wouldn't be messed with. She smiled as Nikki came out and defended Shane, then nodded. "Yeah. You and Jake take the teens out for the walk, Shane and I will stay here and get ready for dinner. There's marked paths along the back of the camp, and you can call me on my phone if something happens," Casey said with a smile. No matter how she looked or smelled, she'd always try to maintain a positive attitude about things. Casey looked around for Jake, spotting him with his camper, Gail. She rolled her eyes, but left it be. He'd take care of it. The only thing on Casey's mind was getting rid of the drugs, alcohol, spray paint, and needles that the teens ad with them, against camp policy. She could take on anything else. She pulled out her phone and checked the time: 4:30. Casey then looked back up at Nikki, then towards Shane. "Okay, you'll be leaving in about ten minutes. Nikki, if you wouldn;t mind, please grab a shirt for Alec, sicne he ran off without one. There's some camp t-shirts on the chest in the main cabin's frost area," Casey said, pointing to the counselor's cabin. She then looked at Shane and smiled at him, then turned back to Nikki. "I'll go let Jake know that you'll be leaving soon. Again, thanks so much!" Casey added, then turned and poited her feet towards the girls' cabin. Her foot crunched something: the empty gin bottle. Just looking at it almost filled her with rage, but she boiled it down. She picked it up and tossed it into the recycling bin, then an idea dawned on her: a bonfire. Instead of throwing all the alcohol away, they'd burn it in a bonfire. That way none of the kids would ever get it back. All energy drinks, aloho, drugs, paint, EVERYTHING would be gone. Casey smirked as she imagined the teens reactions. And they couldn't buy more, because they were only allowed into town once a week, and the counselors were always with them. So much for camp torture for counselors, Casey thought in contempt. Grabbing her hand, he pulled her out of the cabin and shut the door, then walked behind her. He stopped as Casey walked up to him, listenening to what she said. "Heidi and Alec ran off. You and Nikki are taking the teens for the walk, and try to look for Alec and Heidi while you're at it," Casey said with a smile, then turned toward the counselor's cabin. Jake nodded, then kept walking towards the flagpole, where the others waited. He stopped by Nikki, flashing her a charming smile. Nikki semed to be a bit more cautious, like he was. He wasn't afraid of the teens or afraid to speak out, but he was afraid of something bad happening. He'd had enough pain in his life, and didn't want more. Nikki was beautiful, and Jake blinked to look away from her. He seemed to be developing a crush on the other counselor, but he was sure she didn't feel the same. Shrugging it off, he loked around for Todd. Must be in the cabin. He brushed his hair out of his face, hands in pockets, and headed to his cabin. He sat on his bed, looking longingly at all the drinks he had stuffed in his backpack. He had to bring two bags just so he would have enough energy drinks. He knew it wasn't normal. The boy slowly got to his feet and walked to Alec's bunk, gently taking out all his pills. There would be enough to last him a while, as long as he took them in rations. The dark-haired teen dropped the pills into a little bag and stuffed the bag into his boot. He resumed his position on his bed, sighing.
Why are you helping him, Todd? He pushed you down-- hurt you. You don't have to stand for it. You don't have to let him push you around! Stand up for yourself, you jellyfish! Do it! Todd went rigid. His mother's voice-- again! He pulled his legs up to his chest, resting his forehead against his knees. "Shut up, already. He's not a bad guy. Just miunderstood, like me," Todd murmured. It seemed as if she was right beside him, yelling. Screaming. He felt a cold chil run down his spine, prickling the disks protruding form his skin. The thought of his spine made the dark-haired teen shiver. He pulled his shirt off and laid back on the bed, tracing the patterns of his ribs on his chest. He was uber skinny, way too uber skinny.
