"Oh, there's some birds o'prey o'course too," nodded Bent-Tail. Those animals were a little harder to spot though as they were usually either above the treetops or perched up high somewhere. Most likely there were snakes around the forest, though he hadn't really seen any personally.

"Sure," replied Shun in a fairly impassive manner. The caves were pretty interesting in their own right. It had been awhile since he had explored them too. After trying to recall where the nearest one was, he turned and started walking off in that direction.

Riyo's claws immediately sunk themselves into her target's chest, red eyes blazing down at him and legs straddling his middle...

But something was wrong. This didn't feel fuzzy... And it didn't really look like an animal... And it had hands, not paws... Nor did it dig into her arms like the cougar did...

the slitted eyes gave way to her normal pupils, now able to focus on him. She blinked a couple of times, not quite sure how she'd gone from beating the s**t out of a cougar to almost beating the s**t out of Klyde. "S-sorry..." She sighed out, not realizing at first that there was blood leaking form the wounds on her neck and arms. It looked like her other arm matched in the number of scars. Not completely symmetrical, but most of them still appeared to be defensive wounds.

Desmond looked through the cave in a quiet awe. The darkness was a cooling feeling, and he enjoyed every minute of it. "I wonder if there are any animals in here." His own voice echoing as well. There hadn't been the last time he came to this one... But you know how those things change...

Klyde's skin was a bit thicker than a normal humans but it didn't seem to keep Riyo's claws from going through it. He let out a bit of a grunt keeping his teeth clenched shut as her nails sunk into his chest. Blood, much darker than any humans, began to leak from the wounds there staining her fingers and running down his chest. At least it seemed she had come out of it. "Glad to see you're back with me." He said softly trying to preserve his air. Despite having ate his fill the sight of the blood running down her neck was enough to make him want to lash out.

Curiosity pulled her forward as Mitsu started to edge her way into the small path in the wall. It didn't leave a whole lot of room for her to get by but luckily she was small and lanky so not much hung her up. Apparently this is what often made her brother mad, wandering off in small spaces where it was hard to follow. "There's a lot of water in here." She didn't really call back she more of less was talking to herself. The floor was covered with about a half inch of water and the walls were wet in places. Moving a little further in the walls began to expand and she found herself in a side cave that was mostly dark aside from a small amount of light coming from above. There must have been a hole in the ceiling.

Hearing Mitsu mention something about water, Bent-Tail carefully made his way over by her. The ground was a little sleek, but he managed to keep fairly good footing here. Well if there was water in there, the chances of something makeing their home in this sort of place.

"Wotcher step," warned the rat to anyone that would listen. Slipping here probably would mean a bump on the rump or head.

As he sat there, Blade let his mind wander to try and get it off of everything going on. He was a little less aware of his surroundings so when a girl came up and tapped him on the shoulder, he was startled somewhat. Blinking, he recognized her from the swim class. Reading what she had written, he let out a sigh and shrugged.

"Could be better I guess.."

Riyo looked back as he stood and sighed. "Damn cougar took my lunch." Was the best way she could explain it without sounding like an idiot. Her eyes fell back on his wounds, then to her nails that still held his blood under them. Her ears fell back at the realization she had injured him without realizing it... Was the same thing going to happen at this school as it did every one she'd been at before?

"Did I hurt you?" She asked meekly and twiddled her fingers behind her back.

When Mitsu popped her head back out, Desmond simply sighed and smiled. "Be careful." was all he said. He wasn't about to spoil her fun just because he couldn't fit through there.

Kohaku sat down beside the boy, sitting her stuff on the opposing side and began writing something else. It said 'Wanna talk about it?' with a cute little smiley face next to her words. Ironic that she asked if he wanted to talk, considering. With any luck, this would be Kohaku's chance to make some friends... Since the only one who seemed interested in talking with her all the time was Mr. Ferre.

"I will." She smiled before she disappeared. "Cave crabs?" Mitsu asked as she moved back to the other cave to investigate. They were weird looking, like giant spiders. "I dunno, I would hope they taste better than they look." She poked at one which brought up a claw to defend itself. It was far to slow though as it snapped its claw shut, Mitsu had already drew back her hand. "What else do you think is in here?" She asked as she moved further into the darkness.

Her eyes reflected a little of the light coming through but it only aided her in seeing so much. Tilting her head she was picking up on a sound. It appeared to be rushing water. "Do you hear that?" She asked Bent-tail as she moved on quietly. There was more water at their feet in this area so maybe there was a waterfall of sorts.

"Do you think that," Suddenly Mitsu cut herself off as she let out a scream. It was hard to say what was wrong at first until she lifted up her tail. The tip had been a little to close to the ground and she now had a stowaway clamped onto the end. It looked as those the crab she had bothered earlier decided to get a little payback. "Get it off." She whined shaking her tail trying to remove the creature.

Klyde simply nodded though that really wasn't the answer he was looking for. He was at a terrible disadvantage at the moment. Shaking his head as she asked if she had hurt him he approached. Surely it would be okay. As long as he didn't breath. He could reassure her then leave. Let her know it was okay. But the blood, he watched it drip down the side of her slender pale neck. It had him mesmerized as he took a step closer to put a hand on her shoulder. "D...damnit." Unable to contain himself he leaned forward his head resting beside Riyo's. He had already had a taste of her blood before, he didn't need to smell it to want it.

Stooping a bit lower his tongue lashed out at the wound on her neck to lap up the blood there. Surprisingly his hand on her shoulder remained loose, a small ounce of control to give her the ability to get away.

"Seems not," grumbled Shun with a small hmph. Though his attention was soon called as Mitsu had let out a scream. Frowning, he too also went to try and see where he might be able to get to where the others were.

"Ah!" startled from the scream, Bent-Tail quickly saw the crab grabbing a hold of Mitsu's tail. Quickly, he tried to see if he could pry the crab's claws apart.

"It's stuck..." he whined while continuing to try.

Blade's gaze had returned forth after he had answered.

"It's Blade.." he replied before pausing momentarily and asking for her name as well. With her silence, he hadn't really picked up on her name at all.. most likely because she had to actually write it out, "Yours?"

Well, once again, Riyo hadn't expected that. Yeah, she figured they'd be close. And yeah, she figured that he was going to do what he could to retrieve blood from her wound... But when he started planting gentle kisses on her, the calm and collected part cracked a little.

"Ah... I don't... Know about... That..." Maybe it was the loss of blood catching up to her... Could've been something in the air... Or maybe it was just how close they were. The feel of his cold skin at her fingertips, nails lightly grazing it unlike before. Bodies pressed together ever so carefully. God, what was this? This... Semi-euphoric feeling? She couldn't shake it. Couldn't simply push him away and act like it never happened. When his lips finally made their way up to hers... Her mind vaguely recalled somebody's instructions. Just... Press them together and close your eyes. And that's exactly what she did... Even there, Riyo could taste her blood on his lips, and it sent shivers up and down her spine.

"Oh God, there must be some kind of rapist hobo in that cave with them!" Desmond actually looked worried as he said that, meaning he wasn't kidding. Sucking in his lack of gut, he shoved himself in the crevice to try and scoot in. "This might actually hurt." the vampire hissed as he continued pushing.

Instead of writing it out, the girl flipped to the front of the notebook, which read "KOHAKU~" In beautiful bold lettering. It looked like she had taken time to write that one. She then flipped to the first page of the book, which said "It's nice to meet you." Looked like she had done this many times.
