((Vic is no longer so sure about Belladonna, so why fight the tide? Easier to accuse Haku!))
"...Granted," the swabbie grunted back to Belladonna. She'd encountered such skirts before; she knew was sort of living Hell they were to wear, especially if you had places to go, things to do. Of course, if Belladonna were tricky enough, there were ways....
But she could tell when the mob wasn't on her side. On some level, Vic probably thought that it didn't matter who got blamed, so long as a. somebody paid for it, and b. it wasn't her. There wasn't any stronger course of logic than the book-logic, so why muddle things more? So Vic's grumbling desisted, and she joined the rest of the crowd of angry eyes that were shooting daggers at the demon. Nothing personal, mate, but it ain't like yer not gonna be the one gettin' it, anyway....
Somewhere about this point, Vic came to realize that she was getting a certain amount of attention. It didn't take her long to break into a smile and slide into the seat next to Balumf. Now, this was a fine gentlecreature that seemed worth her salt - if they were going to be pairing up in any manner, this was the way to do it!
"It'd be me pleasure, mate," she grinned, showing a mouth that was (regrettably) populated by a full set of healthy teeth. "Th'name's Vic, o' the fine ship the Double-Edged Saber. What's yers?"

Proper old fear had been winning the good fight over Lumidee's senses, try as she might to avoid it. It seemed like everyone thought the same thing about little dog-demon: him and his book, guilty! She'd shuddered in the ensuing clamor, the movement coming through disjointed.
Fear, however, slowly waned as she actually began listening to the conversation. The necromancer at her side - "Lumidee," she'd tenuously thrown into her reply - made sense. And the boy in the wolfskin made even more, to the point that Lumi felt well and truly scolded for ever thinking of Haku that way. By now she was looking down at her lap, twisting her bright-patterned skirts in her hands. It all made no sense... Maybe cuts were paper cuts, but maybe they just looked that way. Maybe Haku was being framed, but they couldn't know that for sure. Maybe the Jack guy could move without anyone seeing him, or maybe that cat could claw up a body's face...like it wasn't a normal cat, or something. Lumi pressed fingers to her aching temples.
"It is dark." She managed to press out, glancing between Salali, Breic and Puck as she blew more hair from her face. "It's real dark, and not just 'cause of the lights." Her hands dropped to her skirt again, smoothing it out with shaking fingers - which only wrinkled it more.

So the water horse just basically stated the drawn out statement that it could be anyone. Why am I always stuck trying to use logic when it's only backfiring somehow? Haku asked himself with an inner sigh. "At this point all I can give you is my word," he said to Balumf patiently, though it was starting to wane; slowly being ganged upon did that to someone. Given the book back, he was sure to slide it away from him, back behind the seat; maybe someone put a bad luck curse on it, because it had been giving him nothing more than a headache since he got it. "Unless you want me to run a race in the cart or something.
"Well if the cat demon's to be believed, and if we're going on the assumption that it was either claws or papercuts, then narrows it down to myself, the weretiger, or this grumpy gentlefellow who's been quiet up till now." The inugami eyed Kentarou, he who sat back and hadn't said too much since the chaos began. Haku noted he too was reading. "Have anything to say, or are you going to be persistent in your silence?" He was detecting an air of arrogance about the guy, which was just dandy. But they needed an active participance from all there, and one lagging weight was bothering him -had been bothering him.

Andrugora looked between Haku and her seat mate waiting for a nice little explosion again. She sure hoped it wasn't him and that she wasn't next. That would put a damper on things on her end. Well, things had been getting damper and damper anyways, but that wasn't the point.

"Even if you ran a race in here, you could still be faking it." Perlie attempted to glare at Haku, although it ended up a sort of odd squint that did more indicating that she needed glasses than it did showing her mistrust. "I mean, you say you're little and weak, but like you said, all we have got is your word. All we've got is anyone's word and since the culprit isn't exactly coming forth to confess their guilt I'd say that's not worth too much at the moment."

{Good morning, and Fauste has stopped suspecting Puck because he's confused. xD}
"If there's no motive, and whoever is doing this is doing it for his or her own enjoyment or otherwise, it might explain the lack of a Bogeyman and the seemingly tampered lights on this ride," He muttered out loud; it was worrying - who would be capable of such an act? They probably won't be able to determine the attacker till the next attack, but... Wouldn't it be too late by then?
The skinwalker made a lot of sense, and he couldn't help feeling just a little bit embarrassed about his previous accusations. However, he continued to keep Puck in his sight, just to be on the safe side - for course, once the lights go out, it wouldn't matter, but still! He doesn't like how that ghost was acting.
"Hey, be strong," Fauste casted a sideway glance towards Lumidee, his voice a low whisper that was directed to the ghost alone. While he had always been awkward with these gestures, doing it in a public place was... Ugh, too bad he had a soft spot for those undead types. He then looked away from her and to the passengers, frowning as he listened to their debate. He had been silent for a bit, but it seems like everyone was starting to suspect Haku because of his book, and that Jack character too?
His attention was back on Haku as he spoke up; he for one, trusted the Inugami's words. While he was not the best judge of character, he couldn't help but think that his frustration was due to him being framed and being continually accused of something he did not do. He followed Haku's glance at the mention of the quiet passenger, before nodding in quiet agreement; he hadn't even noticed Kentarou till now due to his silence...

It was a little unnerving to have so many eyes boring in to him, but Jack didn't make it noticable. Lifting his hand to pass off the statements back into the air, he lidded his eyes as he looked at the two canines repeatedly, before turning away to regard all those around him. Tapping his tail on the floor a couple times, he rocked his foot a little in the air. The chain of accusing didn't following along with the Nekogami, as he eyed the dog creature. He believed Haku when he stated that it was not him who had done such a terrible action, but felt that his neck was much too cherished to put out to the wild wolves that snapped around them. Instead, he pitied him a little.
No accusation broke his shell though, and everytime his name was brought up, he could only glance over at the voice, a cool glance to take the brunt of the moment before dispelling it. Jack knew of his own innosence and that was enough for him. Scratching the bottom of Zwei's chin, he mused lightly. "I think the buddy system could work." He murmured, more to the cat than anything, being awarded by a longing stare. "It would dispel whatever accusations are flying around, but it would be at the mercy of your partner's honesty." He finished the thought, before looking up at the other creatures.
He still felt that there was a truth to Haku's indignation.

Salali sat forward in her seat eagerly, looking intently at Lumindee. "Yes! Yes yes! Very dark....I don't like it..." Her energy seemed to drain away as the excitement of someone understanding her odd words began to fade. Did it matter really? "To understand is not to change," she mumbled to herself sadly. And what could they really do?
"Partners...yes..." she wiggled uncomfortably in her seat. She didn't like the idea, mainly because it left someone in a terrible position. Or perhaps it didn't...it was hard to say. "We're moles...almost all moles...cannot see if we're paired with a fox...I don't want to be eaten." She put a hand on either arm as if she was cold...and perhaps she was, though not due to the temperature. She stared up at the lights fearfully. "Please stay lights, please...please..."

Watching the ramble was making her head swim, but Belladonna was trying her best to keep up. When the idea of partners sprung up she was hesitant, but when Kasumi sat down next to her, she couldn't exactly refuse the girl. It might come across rude and she definitely didn't want to be confrontational. She managed a small smile that only lasted for the duration of a moment before plopping down into her seat.
"Sure. That's a good idea. Maybe everyone should pair up. Just in case." She offered her arm to the girl, hoping the touch of someone else would help calm her slowly unhinging nerves. With her elbow crooked and waiting, Belladonna paused for a moment and thought about the idea of partners. What if she was being sought out by THE attacker? What if she was next? But if in the event she was next, wouldn't it just prove that her partner was the attacker? Then they would be caught and everyone could rest safe. So even if it meant getting hurt, it would mean finding the attacker. And that was the whole point of all these flying accusations!
"I'm Belladonna by the way. Its nice to meet, even though the circumstances are less than fantastic..." Though she tried to make a small joke, it didn't reach her mouth for a smile.

As Jack inquired about the lights, the host-Reaper shrugged. "Everyone's here, and the controls to the lights are... elsewhere," he said, emphasizing the last word. "I doubt anyone could reach them, but at the same time... Are you suggesting that I go check, just to make sure?" The was a sudden THWUMP! as something seemed to fall on the table. A plate crashed to the floor, next to where a reaper sat, face upon the table. A shout of alarm did nothing to entice the person to lift their head -- it seemed as if they were drained of energy.
When the person was pushed up, however, there was no sign of wounds. Instead, Salali fluttered her eyelids but made no sound. The reaper-host picked the reaper up and transferred her to an empty bed within the Injured Cabin. When he returned to the Main Cabin, the reaper-host shook his head. "It appears," he began, "That we have someone who is able to strike down another without the need for the lights to go out." And just to prove his point, the lights suddenly went out for a half-second before turning on again. The reaper sighed. "If my hair wasn't already white, it'd be well on its way to going gray now." His plum-colored gaze swept slowly across the assembled students before stopping on a particular student. " Haku," he began, "You have been accused of being behind the attacks by the majority. Please come with me." The reaper strode forward and took the boy by the arm, leading him out of the cabin through a different door -- one that led to the economic Accusation Cabin.----- OOC:Salali has been attacked! While her energy is drained, she has enough energy to still talk -- she cannot get up or move, however. Haku has been accused and moved to the accusation cabin! Urimian has not made a post within 48 hours and has been removed from the game. StarieMichie's character, Erin O'Quinn will be able to travel between the Accusation Cabin and the Main Cabin at any time during the RP along with Ghaun, your Reaper-Host of the evening in his skirt. Also, At this time, please limit your votes/bezerker attacks/hunter investigations/accusations to only ONE at a time. Thank you! <3 Don't forget to OOCly bold your choice either!

((Faint is almost positive it's Haku Faint took a deep, unnerved breath. This car was too small. This situation was too stressful. All he'd wanted to do was go to school and follow up family tradition. Was it really that bad of a goal?
He moved and sat down next to Jack, rubbing his face with his hands until he glared up at Haku. "I'm a tiger[/]. My shift takes me about ten minutes. Way too long for me to have ripped anyone's body up. Which, if I had, would have been much more gruesome. My claws are wide. I'm nearly full-grown. Have you ever seen a lion's claws rip through flesh? It's pretty much the same thing." He frowned. "And my human-shape nails are too blunt." He held up his hand to make his point, showing off his dark nails with were more canine and blunt than small and feline sharp.
"It's gotta be a book."

((I'm going to pretend my post was above the NPC post. XD))
Faint blink disbelievingly as Salili was escorted to the injured cabin. This was getting ridiculous. "How the hell can someone attack without moving?" And then his mouth fell open slightly. "... Poison?"

"Balumf is mine." she said simply, smiling showing sharp even teeth. She hadn't smiled in ages. "Of the Erglump clan, though I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate my saying so" she said, almost wanly. Not until she got stronger at least. "A fine ship you say?" Balumf liked this conversation. She knew something about ships, considering. It would be nice and distracting.
"Tell me about..." she began to ask...
When the plate fell. She turned towards it, fin crest straight up now every spine sticking out in some way. This was getting bad. Now the shaking one was hurt, and there had been no darkness to cloak the attacker. Nothing but a fast movement and a breaking plate. She watched as Haku was escorted out. Salali hadn't accused him. What if it wasn't him? Well, if it wasn't the dog-boy, at least he was out of the way. She looked around her. It wasn't Vic, definitely. They'd been talking. "Poison... but she didn't eat... But that would make sense... She wasn't feeling well before, was she..." she said, thoughtful.

Kasumi was about to introduce herself when another victim was attacked - this time without the flickering of lights. The monster's eyes went wide and she backed up a bit in her seat. She didn't mean to squish Belladonna, but it couldn't be helped. Kasumi shook her head to steady her nerves, arm still hook in the reaper's. "It seems as though our attacker doesn't need the lights anymore..." she explained, very uneasy by the whole ordeal. "They didn't even make any marks. How is that possible?"
They would only know if Haku was the attacker if there were no more victims, but it was very unnerving. Without any physical evidence, how would they know who was the villain?
"Could it be magic that did this? That might explain not having any marks, but the method of attack is changing every time!" Did that mean a magic user could have done this with a different spell? Something to explode a skeleton, something to shred a warlock and something to drain a shaman?

(Is doubting Haku's involvement. Is suspecting the Host, Ghaun. )
He had come to a silent agreement with several students some time ago, but the conversation had changed so much since then that he hadn’t had a moment to make his claim aloud. The ruckus flowed as it would with any scatter-brained crew at a loss of words and valid theories...they were without much evidence, what else could be expected? And even more frustrating then the crowds claims were his own wavering thoughts. What DID Oliver think? Who DID he accuse?
The third attack left the boy riddled with nervous rage. When the lights flickered, he once again made a move from his seat, which had already been pushed away from the table, jumping to his feet in time to watch the girls limp frame be carried away. He wasn't a fan of her from the start, and her attack seemed half-hearted compared to the others, so he couldn't say he cared much about her departure…it did, however, worry him that whoever seemed to be up to this had the ability to do so right before their eyes…or whatever, in any case.
THEN, an inkling of thought took him by surprised as the boy began a steady glance around the cabin. "Maybe it's the hall itself! Perhaps the train is possessed." wriggling his fingers near his ears, Oliver spun on his heels to check the wood frame underneath his seat. "Or rigged!" He found nothing, but the search gave his mind sweet relief...still, he pondered on his assumption and nodded his head, trailing his eyes to Fauste with a questioning glint to the gaze.
"Personally I am still kind of suspicious of our host...You know what I'm saying? Sure he has heels on, but we're all pretty monstrous and talented in our own right--maybe he can slip them on and off while no one is looking...or she can, see what I mean?! What do we really know about it…" Oliver said in a hushed tone in Fauste's general direction.
