Yokozuki Nekkyo

Sanbantai Taichou

After having slacked off for so long, Yokozuki had taken a long and undeserving nap nearest the large apple tree that was overlooking a large rock valley far below, nothing scenic that interested Yokozuki of course, but the smell of the wind was pleasant enough to stop here away from everyone, after all, he was going to attend, but to hell with the lot, he wasn't interested in standing around all of that. Taking off his Captains haori, he placed it over his face to block out the light so he could take a nice and relaxing nap, it was something he enjoyed doing, so, why not do it now? It was only a few minuets, however, before hell was set free on the land above, and Yokozuki was awoken from his slumber, testing his patience to a whole new degree, he placed his Captains haori on and stood, his was covered in a soft dry sand, he must have slept on..an ant hill? His face flinched as he started feeling slight tingling pains all over his body. "What the fu- ow!" He screamed as he plucked a small red ain't from his arm, throwing it back at where it was, he took off his Captains haori as fast as he had put it on, shaking it out and patting himself down, he was eventually insect free, he threw away his Captain haori, it floated on the wind and eventually floated down into the rock valley that Yokozuki had taken so little interest in. He floated on the thought of not going and looking at what happened. He had heard nothing, no stinging noise that indicating there was something, no hint of a change in power, not at first anyway. He simply wrote off as captains were getting into a battle, but that quickly changed when a crowd ran down the side of the hill screaming like a bunch of barbaric buffoons. Walking over to the stream of flowing uslessness, he grabbed an elderly woman by the neck, his eyes but slits on his agitated face. "Hey you, old bird, tell me, what are you all running from?" The old woman wound up and punched him in the face and ran off, he held his bleeding nose with even more annoyance now. "That b***h!" After cracking his nose back in place, and giving a wince of pain, he grabbed another one, a young woman, by the arm and dragged her away. "Now tell me! What is going on!" The young woman was terrified of him, she explained that an unknown man had shown up with two dead bodies.

Yokozuki's attention forwarded towards the top of the hill, leaving the young woman to continue running to safety, he pounced upwards in a flash, using his raw excitement to get him going, it was often wondered why he wasn't the Captain of the eleventh division based on his outlandish attitude alone. His pace quickened, his arms flying behind him as the air was trying to keep up with his speed, pure adrenaline was fueling his increasing speed, he slid to a dusty halt as he entered the battle field. "I'm insulted." He whispered as he saw the battle was already in a heated array of swords and beams of power and this and that, drawing his sword, he let it tap gently on his right shoulder, he had a pouting look on his face, though, as he headed forward, Sujoo, out of nowhere, appeared, it looked as if he was about to attack the Espada, but, he quickly realized after the man spoke that his intended target was in fact Shizuka, was he feeling alright? What was with that, attacking your Captain at a time like this? It wasn't time to play teacher, but, Yokozuki didn't care, or, he didn't until Sujoo actually launched into a physical attack towards Shizuka, whom, Yokozuki could see was preoccupied with a battle, jumping into a quick spurt of action, Yokozuki intercepted Sujoo, grabbing his sword hand, making it release and fall the ground, and used a powerful elbow the gut to knock the wind out of him, he subdued the man onto the ground. "I don't know what you did to piss this guy off Shizuka, but he really had it in for you." He could see that Sujoo was knocked out, taring his own clothing, he used the material to bind Sujoo's hands together at the back, making sure there wouldn't be anymore surprises.

"Now then." Dusting himself off after bounding the man, he turned back to the crowd. "I get so sad when I'm not invited to the party you know that?" He let out a small laugh while he continued tapping his sword on his left shoulder now, switching back to the right only a few moments afterward as he now appeared beside Shizuka and Yukito. "That guy was really aiming to kill you just now Shizuka, any guess as to why?" Looking back at Sujoo, he himself couldn't believe it. Did he actually betray the Gotei Elite at a time like this? Or was it something else? Maybe it had something to do with the unexplained appearance of an Espada that had almost killed two Captains? Or maybe not, he had no idea, nor did he find the time or energy to sit there and contimplate just what was going on. "Yo." He was now speaking to Zenos. "You're an uninvited guest my friend." Yokozuki was more than impressed by his attack from earlier, but he didn't pay it much attention, as he was not going to pay any compliments to this a**. "I've gotta say, I'm curious just as to why you are here, and why you've cut those two up so badly." Yokozuki was biding his time, he wasn't going to go rushing in, guns blazing, but he was itching for a fight, as it stood, there was five captains and only himself, even if he was powerful, he was going to have a hard time blowing off five captain rank beings with no trouble. "I'm sure you've go your reason and all that." Yokozuki's smile was widening as he spoke more and more, then, he turned back to Shizuka. "You got a clue where this guys is from? Any information?" He could see that he was an Espada, but he wanted to know just how powerful he was, because at the moment, he was either extremely skilled in hiding his Reiryoku or he was just some weakling looking for fame, and he got someone else to beat up to captains. Yokozuki was looking back behind him waiting for Shizuka to answer him, he was searching to see what muscle they had, it was then that he noticed a commotion near Yukimura with his Lieutenant, something was definitely wrong in Seireitei today, and he suspected it had nothing to do with the appearance of this Espada, well, maybe something but not entirely. "What in the hell is going on here?"

It was then that Yokozuki felt a burning sensation all ove rhis body, were those damn ants back again? No..this was different, it wasn't a physical thing, he could feel it in his mind, he grabbed his forehead, he could feel himself begin to struggle. "Damn it.." Sweat began to become visible on his forehead, he wasn't brought to his knees, nor did he drop his sword, in fact, one couldn't tell much was wrong, he was only grasping his forehead, his body began to shake, standing closer to Shizuka's back, he knew that something was happening, and he couldn't afford to get into any sort of confrontation with this man, if he was powerful, he wouldn't stand a chance defending himself. He was trying to fight off the feeling, it was becoming increasingly difficult, in fact, it was making it hard to see, he had never felt this before, it was zapping him of all his strength. Staggering now, he fell to the ground, unconscious. In the deep recesses of his mind, he saw something, an image, a beautiful woman, descending from what looked to be heaven. "Wh-who are you?" "I am Shiva, your mother." The woman's figure became distorted, before vanishing completely. "Shiva.." Yokozuki said allowed, though still unconscious, Yukito and Shizuka would have heard it.

Captain of Squad Five

Akusuna was a little disappointed that the Espada didn't answer his question, but nodded to the answer anyway. He watched for movement, when someone else started making noises behind him. Glancing out of the corner of his eye, Akusuna could see the Third Squad Captain stopping a vice-captain from attacking the Seventh Squad Captain, who had come to help. Even worse, outside the fairgrounds, the sounds of panic and chaos could be heard. As the Third Squad Captain suddenly collapsed, and started muttering some woman's name, Akusuna realized that something was going far wrong.
Cursing his luck, Akusuna quickly turned his attention back upon the Espada. He didn't know if Zenos was responsible for this or not, but either way, Akusuna knew he was an enemy. He shunpo-ed forward and reappeared behind the Espada, sword poised to strike. He expected the Espada to dodge, but this was just to keep his attention on him, and not the others. Shortly after swiping through the Espada's location, whether he chose to remain or not, Akusuna started muttering an incantation to himself, preparing for another set of kido.

→→⋯ Ashley listened to Yukimura Taichou's words, and her eyes looked over to Nanashi's direction, but she couldn't see him. Her breathing lowered, and she turned her gaze back to Yukimura. She closed her eyes for the moment as he wiped her face of the blood and tears, a little hope was good her, but she had none for herself. He then started stating the current situation and what happened prior to the Primera's appearance, the situation was worse than she thought. He advised her to stop speaking because of her condition, but she ignored his order to speak a few more words. "Thank you for saving me." She muttered barely getting the words out. Ashley alone held up for awhile to the Primera but her life force was stronger than everyone else's so she didn't know exactly how bad this was, but there were multiple Taichou here so it shouldn't be so bad. The only question was, where was the Captain-Commander?

Upon Unohana's arrival, Ashley closed her eyes feeling a sense of shame. "I didn't want you to see me like this..." She said distressed as Unohana checked her forehead. She saw the tears in her eyes, and the sorrow started coming back again. All she needed was her energy left and Ashley could heal herself. Alas if she did get to that point, she may pass out from using all of her energy. As Unohana released her Shikai, in moments Ashley was starting to feel better, or she would of, if she didn't shut her own body down to heal faster. Adding to herself and Unohana's healing, she would get better sooner than usual, that she still wouldn't be able to fight from the lack of energy. As good as the situation may seem with deep thought and a little hope, Ashley was still in a terrifying condition. Unohana apologized for being unable to get her out of here "I'm proud of you Unohana, I couldn't be happier to have you my Third Seat." She said in a low tone giving her a weak smile.

Ashley listened in on the fight around them, she heard all of the commands and the tones they were given in. She needed to be well, she wanted to assist them the best she could. If she was at her best, she would be able to heal them even as they were fighting, which is why is was bad she was severely injured. Right now she just hoped Zenos didn't come after her and Unohana, Yukimura could obviously hold himself, at least until her and Unohana was out of the arena. Her body was "switched" back on, the pain and fatigue she endured before was gone, but she could still hardly move. Ashley slowly moved her hand around, it took some effort, but she searched the ground next to her for her zanpakutou. Her fingered met the straps of the handle and her fingers wrapped around it. The moment she could be able to move her body, despite any consequences, she was going to try and get up. If even possible, she was even going to start healing herself. Ashley was arrogant when it came to being helpless and vulnerable, and it was even worse when members of her squad was around. The other Taichou didn't see the fight between her and Zenos, and very few of them have witnessed her Bankai, so she saw this as making her look weak knowing what some of the others thought of the Yonbantai's fighting capabilities.

Eight Division Captain
============================================Yukito Shun============================================

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.It is through skill that we fight

Feeling the resistance that Zenos imparted on his blade, Yukito was given a taste of the physical strength the Espada was capable of. Though it wasn’t enough to cause him panic, it was still worth making a mental note of. Catching the Espada’s eye as he glanced at him, Yukito’s eyes were immediately redirected to the flash of light that the Sojo Sabaku gave out. Yukito was aware that it was supposed to bind both of the target’s arms, and not just one, though given the circumstances, any edge over their opponent was a welcome one. However, his relief was soon overridden by surprise as he felt the force of the Espada as he utilized the ground to block the next Bakudo spell, all except one which impaled itself upon Yukito’s back upon which the Captain immediately began to feel the paralysis common to the Bakudo, although it was partial as he received only a literal one-sixth of the intended full power. Trying in vain to release his blade from Zenos’ grasp, Yukito felt himself get lifted up and thrown towards Akusuna, which was unsurprising given the strength he demonstrated earlier.

Gritting his teeth as he flew in mid-air, Yukito balled up his free hand into a fist and aimed a punch towards Zenos, upon which the mist-wolf he had left earlier launched out into a white pillar of energy hurling towards Zenos. It was meant for a surprise attack, but as Yukito would soon discover, Zenos was already aware of the wolf’s presence, demonstrated by his Cero towards the wolf’s location. As the two torrents collided, they cancelled each other out ”Kiba!” yelled Kasumi, the dominant one-third of Yukito’s zanpakuto. Opening his fist into a claw, Yukito commanded the mist-wolf to remain in mist form as it began to encircle Zenos. However, as Zenos released his reiatsu and entered his resureccion, Yukito found it a struggle to keep his composition in the face of such monstrous spiritual pressure.

His eyes widening as Zenos prepared to fire what seemed like a Gran Rey Cero, Yukito was prepared to unleash his Bankai, before he felt himself get thrown out of harm’s way by Akusuna, just in time as the pillar of spiritual energy erupted from beneath where he was ”Captain Myori!” Yukito yelled out, fearing the worst. Realizing that the threat was dire, Yukito prepared to unleash his Bankai, before she was grabbed out of nowhere by Shizuka, before the two of them vanished into her alternate dimension. A bit dumb struck, he was unable to respond until they were back in the real world, and even then he was still a bit surprised. At least until he saw the blast radius of Zenos’ attack, which was nothing to scoff at ”It’s alright, Captain Shizuka.” replied Yukito, a short response at best as they were in no place to chat. Looking at Akusuma to see if he was alright, Yukito noticed his slight transparency, which Yukito attributed to his Bankai, which would probably also be the reason why he survived the surprisingly powerful attack.

As Akusuna asked Zenos his name, Yukito was surprised for a brief moment by the fact that Shizuka answered him for him, but remembering what her zanpakuto could do, Yukito found this to be of no surprise. Gripping his zanpakuto, Yukito relaxed his hand and allowed the mist-wolf to rematerialize by his side ”Bankai, Soseiji Shikke Ookami.” uttered Yukito, as his sword dissolved into yet another-mist wolf, as a more ornately designed one replaced it within his grip. Eyeing Zenos, he waited for the man to make his move, before a voice, rather menacing in its tone, caught his attention, sparing it a quick glance he watched in shock as Sujoo rushed out towards Shizuka, shunpo’ing in between them, he was relieved to find Yokozuki had already taken care of the situation. Nodding to Yokozuki before going back to where he previously was, Yukito left Shizuka, Sujoo and Yokozuki alone for a while to discuss the sudden uprising, before turning back around when he heard the audible thud as Yokozuki fell to the ground unconscious. Biting his lip, Yukito couldn’t afford to show panic, not in the face of such an adversary such as Zenos, but what Yokozuki uttered sent chills down Yukito’s spine.

Shiva, the Captain couldn’t shake the feeling he had heard it before ”Shiva?” asked Yukito, before he noticed that Akusuna had gone on the offensive. Shaking his head free of such thoughts, Yukito snapped his fingers ”Gin, Kiba.” calling the two wolves to him, they disappeared in a flash, with Yukito reappearing directly in front of Zenos, his sword aimed to take a clean cut off the Espada’s forehead.

Primera Espada

Akusuna's request of his name was met only with a blank look, one typical of Zenos, yet it was a little different. It carried a slight amount of questioning in it, as if to ask did you really just ask me that?" Stupid little boy; that was how Zenos labeled him after this question. After all, he had not spoken a word since arriving, so only a complete dumbass would think he would engage in senseless conversation that involved exchanging pleasantries. Another female had taken to approaching him, apparently more cautiously than that bone-user he had left, considering she was in Bankai, judging by her Reiatsu. Of course, he cared little about her Reiatsu even though it seemed to be desperately trying to inflict fear within him. It was a useless attempt, given that even if he felt fear he wouldn't show it unless he felt like it. Although her Reiatsu was nothing he would write home about, what she did next would prove to pique his curiosity, if only for a moment. A few seconds after she had approached, he felt something inside his head; something that did not belong. He questioned himself silently as to what it was, but his answer came soon enough when Shizuka answered Akusuna's question in his place. As she spoke his name and then his rank, he turned his full attention to her, casting her a wide-eyed look of surprise mixed with annoyance. So she had some ability to read his mind. Irritating woman. There was no need for her to go flapping her mouth about his details. Was it the custom of all Shinigami to intrude in on another's private thoughts when they do not get the answer they want? His initial irritation was quelled as he reminded himself that her potential knowledge of his abilities meant nothing if she couldn't do anything about them. Simply knowing that he could turn her to stone with a beam of light wouldn't stop him from doing so, nor would it help her if he decided to shank her with his hand in a half-second.

Another male had come up to him, flapping his lips with the same redundant questions he had tried to avoid. It came as no surprise to him at this point, now that he had seen what the Gotei 13 had to offer. There was a bumbling idiot that had got himself killed, an annoying little girl whose feelings had almost lead her to her death, a pretentious b*****d who had no intent of taking him seriously, another boy who could not notice the smallest of details, and another girl who liked to intrude in other's personal lives for her own gain. They were just as disgusting as those other Espada he was forced to be around day in and day out, so naturally there would be that one guy who ignored the obvious and asked stupid questions anyway. Zenos had the momentary desire to thrust his hand through Yokozuki's throat, but before he could move, the Shinigami collapsed and passed out without warning. Shrugging this off, Zenos sighed and slid his eyes shut as Akusuna decided to come at him again, Yukito following shortly afterward. On reflex and not through his immediate intentions, his skin turned silver on his neck, mid-way just past the collar of his jacket, then quickly spanned up to his forehead and over the dome of his head. As soon as their blades hit his body, his Piel Titanium retracted back into his clothes and out of sight. The impact of their blades on his Titanium body would both send bone-rattling vibrations down to their arms, and most likely chip their blades at the area of impact. In an instant, Zenos flicked his foot forward to bury it in the pit of Yukito's stomach, his moves quicker than before and closer to his actual speed. A split-second later, he turned his head as his eyes began to open, and cast Akusana a look of annoyance, parting his lips slightly to bare his left fang for him to see.

To say Zenos was deaf to Akusuna's next intent would be foolish, as with his enhanced sense he could easily hear him. Finally, he graced them with his voice, which was a moot point as he spoke in Greek, rather than their Japanese, so they wouldn't understand them anyway. "Δεν πρέπει να θέλουν να ζήσουν." He said before removing his right hand which was now holding accumulated black Reiryoku at his finger tip, as he had been charging a Cero Oscuras while it rested in his pocket. In an instant, far too fast for the naked eye to perceive, he flicked his hand towards Akusuna's face and released the devastating Cero Oscuras at point blank range, intent on killing or debilitating the Shinigami. It was his fault for getting so close to him while he was in his released state, after all. Slipping his hand back into his pocket, he allowed his gaze to fall on Shizuka. Exhaling a breath, Zenos allowed his internal Vampiric desires to surface, which filled his head with nothing but "kill kill kill" in an effort to stop the girl from invading his mind even further. Pushing off the ground, Zenos launched himself into the air where he threw up a hand to summon twelve massive iron pillars in the air behind him. He paused for only a second before he flicked his arm down towards the ground, causing them to lurch forward, rather than dropping, to land all over the ground and crush them beneath their weight.

...and thus the world is petrified.

(Sorry. I didn't specify, because it didn't matter. I never intended to hit. I totally thought you'd dodge and counter-attack. XP)
Captain of Squad Five

To the Fifth Squad Captain's surprise, Zenos didn't dodge. Instead, Akusuna found his sword scratching against a titanium plating which had appeared upon the man's neck. The sudden change in body type left Akusuna surprised, causing him to instinctively defend himself by becoming intangible. He had been expecting the Espada to dodge instead, and fully intended on trapping the man as a result of it, but this block caused problems for his plans now. Thankfully, Akusuna's Bankai was a good defense against Zeno's attack-style.
Even without hurting him, the cero blinded Akusuna temporarily as the energy flowed past. He blinked his eyes clear and spotted Zenos approaching the Seventh Squad Captain, who had two incapacitated people around her. With a single hand, Zenos had summoned iron pillars and threw them down at her. Akusuna worried for a second about helping her, but remembered how she was able to avoid the earlier cero in a way similar to his own method, except she could use it on others. This meant that he would have to rely on her to save the others, while Akusuna continued to attack.
Leaping up after Zenos, Akusuna remained incoherent, for his own protection. Once he was close enough to attack, Akusuna waited until the last second to make himself existent again, right as he was slashing at Zenos arm. Upon contact, Akusuna also released another kido, casting, "Bakudo 9: Geki"
It wasn't much, but every little bit to slow down the Espada helped. Soon after the attack, whether succeed or fail, Akusuna quickly leaped back and turned non-existent again.

Adachike was in complete mediation, his physical body was present however his mind and soul seemed to be lingering somewhere within the astral planes;
his focus was of just depth that Adachike was oblivious to all matter around him.
The flicker of the flame was nothing, the resonance of birds singing was an empty non existing User Imagesound.
However a small butterfly fluttered within the room even though it didn’t emit a single shred of sound Adachike raised quickly to his feet. That small insect which seemed to camouflage with the rest of the large world brought such a noticeable presence it was unimaginable. Once the Hell Butterfly rested its fragile and small body upon Adachike’s left shoulder, a massive amount of information erupted out of the small insect and was quickly vacuumed by Adachike’s brain. The mere subject of the matter shook Adachike to his core, to think that the Captains would have a Hell Butterfly warn the lower ranks about their current conditions! Knowing the general power of the Captains Adachike would have thought this incident would of had passed quickly, but it was obviously not the case; the enemy the Captains must be facing, must be an opponent with immense power to still be alive while against a good number of them.

Adachike was no longer sure of his duties, should he go warn the others? Or should he uphold the 11th Divisions signature by entering the battle head-on? Theses questions brought in so many choices and doubts... After a while Adachike disappeared from his current position and reappeared on top of a roof indicating he had just preformed the famous Shunpo Shinigami were known for. ‘I’ll just join the battle, it’s not like I’m the only Lieutenant to receive this alarm, the others will warn whoever they see fit’ Adachike said only to reinforce his choice for he felt the action he chose to commit wouldn’t be as fruitful.

On his way to the battle Adachike noticed a large amount of citizens running the opposite direction, the sight brought comfort to Adachike for it meant nobody would be injured while the Captains and other members fought to their fullest capabilities.

Upon his arrival Adachike felt an enormous amount of Spiritual Pressure raining over the entire area, the force of the pressure was so colossal that Adachike could barely move his legs without putting effort into it, since Adachike was a lower class then the Captains his natural level of power was being compressed by the energy the Bankai’s of the Captains released to battle. Adachike then took his left arm and unsheathed his Tanto while his right unsheathed his sacred Zanpakuto. The cold metal seemed to lighten the pressure of the energy surrounding Adachike; it was probably the affectionate spirit residing in his blade that made such an effect.

Within a few seconds Adachike was able to calculate the battles point of climax and the enemy which brought such wrath and suffering upon the Shinigami’s territory. After creating a quick skeleton of his battle plan, Adachike gripped his sword powerfully ready for battle and raised his Tanto horizontally in front of his face which had beads of sweat dripping down from his head to his almost sharp chin. Adachike knew that everybody was fighting to their limits however being a lower class Adachike had little power and so releasing his Bankai would only further approach his point of fatigue and so Adachike released his Shikai which consumed a small amount of energy and yet was still powerful.

‘Break transparency with fragility... ガラス女性!’ Adachike roared, then his blade began to shed, its metallic exterior and interior seemed to disappear on sight, only to leave behind a blade entirely made of fragile and transparent glass. Subsequent to his sudden release Adachike preformed Shunpo and reappeared in front of the enemy, once he was properly positioned Adachike threw a side kick towards the man’s stomach hoping it would land.
This was not to harm the opponent but only to push him back so Adachike could perform another Shunpo and reappear in the man’s backwards trajectory where he would impale the man with his glass blade. The rest of his plan would follow soon after.

With the zanpakuto’s blade struck Zenos’ forehead, Yukito thought that he had finally dealt a critical blow to their opponent. His eyes widened in surprise, however, when he felt the recoil of his sword hitting the Titanium that momentarily encased Zenos’ skin. Before Yukito could even react, Zenos drove his foot into his stomach, sending the Captain flying down into the ground, upon landing his impact created a cloud of debris that blocked him from sight. For a while, no motion was observed in the crash site’s area.

As Zenos leapt into the air and summoned twelve massive iron pillars to come crashing down upon them, Yukito’s figure lay still as Akusuna and Adachike made resumed the offensive against Zenos. Meanwhile, one of the iron pillars crashed upon the area where Yukito had landed, but still nothing stirred. After Akusuna and Adachike’s attacks, Yukito decided it was time for him to move. Just in time, as the dust finally cleared, the iron pillar revealed itself to be impaled into the ground, as a mist-wolf stood gazing at Zenos. Before even a split-second had passed, Yukito appeared dangerously close to Zenos, and beside him, the gaseous form of the other mist-wolf began to solidify as it revealed him bit by bit. Without skipping a beat, Yukito’s blade was already hurdling squarely towards Zenos’ right eye, with the intent on thrusting it through the flesh and hopefully blinding the Espada.

Jin - 5th Seat Squad Eight

Know Your Fears -

User Image

Knowing today was to be a celebration of celebrations, an event of memory, Jin chose to reside in his dusty unflattering accommodations, sitting just under the tiny window, his sword held tightly in both hands and pressing against his right shoulder. He head was slightly dug into his chest, his ponytail hanging just around his neck and flowing over his right shoulder down onto his kimono. "A day of fighting is dishonorable to me, I've no want to take part in such a barbaric event, calling yourselves warriors to me is a shame." His soft quiet voice whispered out to himself, he was known to speak his thoughts aloud, even when others were present. He stood then and placed his sword down onto his bedding, walking over to the window he looked dazed into the bright sun, the beams of light shone immensely into his room, lighting several parts while the rest remained in shadow and in mystery. Leaving his eyes to be but small cuts on his face, he promptly made his way to a boiling kettle of tea, placing his hand along with a small clothed pad on the top, he poured himself a steaming hot cup, his own special mix, unknown as to what it was. As he began to sit and enjoy, he heard the typical cry of something gone amiss, springing from his seat, knocking his tea over, spilling, he had his sword and glasses on and was out of the building before a drop of tea hit the ground. His Wakizashi was already on his person, as it never, if ever, left his side. Once outside, he was overcome with the multitude of people that were now bombarding him on every direction, in fact, there were so many time seemed slowed as he tried to account for all of them.

Quickly noticing that some were running and others were attacking, what was this? It seemed that the mass was fleeing from where the battles were being held on the sacred mountain, but, if that was the case, any chaos should have been quickly contained due to the presence of the Captain-Commander, but, then again, why were there so many attack. As he presumed many thoughts, more and more individuals there were surrounding him seemed to becoming influenced by an unknown power and attacking everyone around them for no reason. The mass slaughter was getting more than Jin could bare, but not that he would be able to help, as he heard a large stomping sound behind him, turning, he noticed that a large man, easily ten times his size, was aiming towards him, a giant metal bat in hand, decorated with many sharp nails and other deadly objects. Turning now to fully face the man, Jin tried to calm the situation down. "I've no reason to fight you fri-" Jin was unable to speak, the man launched his attack directly at his head, for a man that was clearly not an official shinigami, his thrust was amazingly accurate and powerful, Jin used a quick display of master foot work to easily avoid the attack to the right, though the force created a small wind. Distancing himself, he readied his hand onto his real zanpakutou, aiming to quickly end this battle. "I'll say it again, you've no need to fight me." The man wasn't responding, it didn't appear, by his audible outburst that he had much intelligence, the man sent forth rapidly fast attacks at Jin, he avoided each attack, to the right, then the left, then the right, each attack hit the ground and created major destruction, using his amazing agility, Jin used a shunpo and sped himself to the mans left side, he himself not turned facing the man, on side to side. "Then reason will not work." Gently placing his hand on the edge of his blade, he drew in a quick slice, leaving a faint half circle in the air as he sheathed it again, the man stumbled then fell slowly, a large amount of blood appearing from his gut, along with the appearance of half his left side missing, replaced with a red blob in the air. "You brought this upon yourself."

Sheathing his sword, he decided to avoid any further useless encounters by getting off the main trail and taking a side short cut towards the mountain side. It was too early in the day to be fighting this way, he had waisted energy just avoiding that attack. His entire Kimono and his ponytail flapped wildly as he increased his momentum towards the tip of the peak, he now sensed several heightened powers nearing him, his Captain for sure was fast approaching as he got closer. "Bankai? What is this." Appearing high in the air over the battle field where Yukito and others were fighting, Jin fell down gracefully nearest Shizuka, sword being drawn now, he watched as his Captain launched an attack on this mystery man that had appeared, he immediately understood why there was a mass hysteria, but was he also the reason why there was battles against man below? and for no reason either, question that needed answering, Jin kept silent.

At the thoughts that were coming from Zenos, she threw her head back and laughed. It would be a rather confusing sight to everyone that didn’t understand what her abilities did or for anyone really that wasn’t herself or Zenos. “No, that’s not the custom of all Shinigami, it’s just something that’s a part of my Bankai. Sometimes you have to use these things when you have to, right? It’s especially useful when the enemy doesn’t talk, right?” she said in a clear voice. Shizuka’s mind was working at top speed at the moment, going down several channels as she kept tabs on everyone around her, as hard as that might be. It was only when a new voice entered her mind – something that was calling for blood – that she cast a confused look at Zenos first, thinking that it might be him. No, it wasn’t him. It was somebody else. Flicking her gaze around to find somebody that just arrived, she turned around in an instant, her eyes trained on Sujoo as she recognized him as the one with the voice. Yet, from what she could tell, it was his thoughts but somebody else’s presence in his mind. Consciously strengthening the mental shield around her own mind so that the voice or Sujoo would not be able to affect her, she found herself absolutely bewildered and lost as she tried to figure out why he was saying something about his mother’s name. As he sped towards her, she was prepared, but hesitated briefly as he came nearer, not wanting to hurt her precious Lieutenant. It was that brief moment that almost cost her everything, even her life, if it had not been for Yokozuki. Breathing a sigh of relief as soon as she noticed the fact that Yokozuki had intervened and saved her life, she replied in a sad tone, her eyes filled with disbelief, “I cannot tell entirely, Nekkyo-Taichō, I am sorry. All I could hear was a voice in his mind, and it didn’t seem like his, but other than that, it might have started earlier. Keeping track of so many minds can confuse me and it’s harder to extract information in that way.” It was then that she felt another mental battle going on nearby and focused her attention on Jurisho, just as the other girl lost control of herself. What was going on? All she knew was the intention that Jurisho had and just before Jurisho moved, she sent a telepathic warning to both Ashley and Yukimura, Careful! She’s going for Unohana!

Feeling slightly helpless as she could only send warnings and do nothing except for that, she unconsciously answered Yokozuki’s question which he had only thought about, saying absentmindedly, “No, it’s not a betrayal. I know my own Lieutenant to know that he would never do anything like that.” Noticing the fact that Akusuna would be keeping the Espada busy for as long as he could, she nodded silently to herself, knowing that her problem was to get to the problem of this strange voice and this strange presence as she might be only one who could. “This is an Espada and like I said before, the Primera Espada. So therefore, the most powerful, I’d say. A vampire as well, which might be important.” she whispered a reply, as she attempted to scan all the nearby minds, trying to see who was coming under the attack of this menace. Suddenly, she managed to find one person and she turned to the person next to her in surprise. Yokozuki? No, impossible. As he began to struggle, she placed a hand on his shoulder, probing his mind for the answer to what was going on and trying desperately to hurriedly expand her mental shield to include him as well. However, it was too late and the probing slowed her down quite a bit as he fell unconscious, the other person or presence winning. Seeing the image in his head as well as the image of the woman, she immediately dragged her own mind back, recoiling visibly as she stepped away from Yokozuki with a horrified look. That presence was one of the strongest mental minds that she had ever experienced before and while she was sure that her shield would be able to protect her, it was unlikely that the others could withstand it. “Shiva…our…mother…impossible,” she mumbled to herself in broken words, unsure of what was going on. Knowing that the others would need protection against this but also realizing the fact that she couldn’t exactly protect every single Shinigami since it would stretch her shield too far, she expanded it to include Yukito and Akusana as well, who was in the nearby vicinity. As soon as it was secure, she felt immediately relieved about that, but there were too many unanswered questions. From what she could tell, it was nothing to do with the Espada, but she was not completely sure at this moment in time. After all, all she was working on, was one person’s mind as well as brief recollections from another person’s thoughts.

While Yukito and Akira had been attacking the Espada, it seemed as if Zenos had decided to try something entirely different, since her mind only managed to hear the same word over and over again in his mind. Blocking out his thoughts temporarily and putting them in a small corner of her mind as she had a different problem to deal with at the moment and couldn’t be distracted at all, she cursed as she noticed the appearance of the iron pillars. Why did it have to come now, when she was trying to work something out? Knowing that she had little time left, she grabbed Yokozuki roughly, shifting them to her own dimension. However, midway through merging between dimensions, she had been intent on concentrating on so many things at once and missed one of the massive iron pillars, that was headed right her way. Her right arm was caught and nearly crushed but she just barely managed to wrench it away and complete the shifting before anything else happened. Almost immediately, she sent the pain through the link to Zenos, hoping that might affect Zenos a little or at least, confuse him. Deciding to leave Yokozuki in her dimension as it would be the safest place for him, she grimaced at the fact that she was now stuck with a useless arm, discarding her scythe without another thought. She wasn’t as good with her left hand as her right and there was no point in carrying a massive weapon around if it was going to be an inconvenience. Shifting back to the real dimension, her right arm was limp at her side and she ignored it for the moment, before suddenly realizing the swift appearance of Yukito’s 5th Seat. A hand automatically flew up to her mouth as she grasped Jin’s thoughts about the mass hysteria. This was worse than she thought and it was spreading quick. If she wasn’t careful, it could end up affecting every single Shinigami and she spoke in a vague tone to Jin, answering the question in his mind and other things, “We don’t know what’s going on. There’s been many people affected and it seems to have a common theme. Perhaps this Espada might be able to help us.” In an imperious and haughty manner that she mimicked perfectly, she pointed a slender finger of her left hand in Zenos’ direction, transmitting the picture of Shiva that had been in Yokozuki’s mind, before speaking in a loud voice, “Who is this Shiva? Why is she here and why did she come when you arrived? Answer me!”

Primera Espada

Unknown to him, since he couldn’t feel such a level of pain, Shizuka had sent her pain to him just after he watched her arm get crushed. This, however registered to him only as an odd feeling in his head, and the transferred pain would go unnoticed as his nervous system was so very strange. She had apparently said something to him much earlier as well, but he had half-missed it, half-heard it on account of not feeling the need to focus on insignificant things. He could probably piece it together at a later time based on sight memory associations, but for now, it wasn’t much. After being struck by the paltry Kidō that the Captain had decided would be of some use against him, Zenos stood motionlessly in the air while watching him move away. He witnessed a change in his body, though it was very slight, and then noticed that his scent was no longer apparent, despite his clear and very noticeable appearance. It did not take him long to deduce that he had some way of removing himself from the current plane of existence, which would explain why his Tierra Cero had dealt minimal damage, and why his Cero Oscuras had not created an explosion when it struck. He reasoned shortly after that if the Shinigami was going to play hard to get, literally, then he wasn't going to bother with him. It was not as though Zenos had set out to kill Akusuna, so wasting his time trying to hit something he couldn't would be senseless. Akusuna, on the other hand, didn't have such a luxury, considering Zenos was the intruder and he was the defender- if he stopped defending, he would get into trouble. So, from that knowledge alone, he abandoned his attempts to bring harm to him, and would instead allow him to tire himself out with his parlor tricks.

Still unable to move, or in reality unwilling to waste his strength breaking out of such a minor Kidō, Zenos glanced down as Adachike aimed a kick to his side, something he obviously didn't dodge. However, unbeknownst to the Shinigami, his skin was completely Titanium at this point beneath his clothes, and he had only left it off where it was exposed. Due to this, the impact of his comparably brittle body with Zenos' Piel Titanium, would inevitably cause a broken bone- there was just no two ways around that. Zenos spared a glance behind him, moving only his eyes as Adachike rushed at him with his blade, intending to stab him. The impact of his blade on Zenos skin would be the same- resulting in the blade shattering. Zenos glanced down as the dust beneath his feet stirred, noticing the wolf staring at him. His memories of shooting a Cero towards something of Yukito's made him decide that this was the object he had been shooting at. Of course, he wasn't 100% sure about that, but he was pretty close to that thought. Zenos locked eyes with the wolf, the stare down reminding him of the multiple occasions in which he, a full blooded Vampire had encounters with the warring race- the Werewolves, while he had been alive. He had to admit, that despite the Vampire Community's outlook on them, they were undoubtedly strong and he couldn't fault them for that. If it came to be that Zenos needed to combat one of them, he did it with a sense of desiring the fight, not killing it because the Community deemed them a threat.

Zenos' thoughts were returned to the present when the sudden appearance of Yukito between he and the wolf caused him to break eye contact and focus on him just as he was preparing to thrust his blade into Zenos face. His first response was to do to this attack what he had done to all of the others, but he nearly instantly changed his mind and let the cold steel sink into his eyeball and plunge into his brain, striking the back of his skull as it came to a halt. Despite his tolerance for pain, Zenos certainly felt that one, which sent a wave of pain through the right side of his head, though the intensity of the pain was equivalent to a burn or something else minor. Zenos did not display how he felt, however; he didn't smile when he was happy, so why would he scream when he was experiencing pain? His immortal state prevented him from dying, his high endurance brushed the nausea from the blood loss away, and he turned his Iron Regeneration on, creating the Iron Whiskers within his head, which began to not only heal his wound, but put pressure on all sides of Yukito's blade to keep it from moving. Just as he cracked his lips apart, the Bakudō that had hindered him shattered the instant he attempted to break it by moving his body slightly. Zenos lifted his left hand and extended his index and middle fingers, pressing them together and pointing the tips of their nails at Yukito's shoulder. Then, he spoke dully with his voice void of emotion, his tone lacking alteration and his face never changing expression. "Aionion Petrosis" A beam of light, his highest level technique, shot forth from his fingers to strike the shoulder of Yukito's swordarm, and upon contact, would initiate a type of high-level Alchemy that would rapidly turn the stricken area and everything inside into solid stone. His clothing would not hold it off, and nothing would escape it, not even the bones that lay beneath layers of muscle and skin, and it would stretch from the base of his neck down to his elbow, and drop just past the areola, creating a sizable area that would be solid stone.

For coming at him with a sword, Zenos would punish him so that he couldn't swing one any longer. A second later, a cero followed the beam of light, giving Yukito the option of abandoning his blade and getting out of the way, or staying and having his arm blown off. Zenos didn’t mind either way. He withdrew his finger, now hoping the rest of them would start taking him seriously instead of using subpar techniques and tactics that were obviously not working. Of course, he realized that there was always the possibility that this was all they had to offer, and he hoped that this was not the case. In his mind he suddenly saw the image of a woman that he did not care about, at least not at that exact moment. However, when he heard her project the name Shiva into his mind, his mind started to go towards what he knew about her. It was very brief, however, in that it stopped his "kill" loop to reveal that he knew she was powerful, then his loop turned back on when he forced it to. So, that was all she got from him; that she was powerful. Though slightly surprised that a Shinigami would be bringing her up, he was not concerned with what she was doing, as she wasn't his concern, even if he was supposed to be guarding her. He sniffed Shizuka’s location out since he had forgotten where he had left the annoying wretch, and then extended his middle finger in her direction. Hopefully that would give her a clue as to exactly how willing he was to talk to her. Actually, that she would even try to ask was astounding to begin with, because if she had read his mind for even an instant, she would know he did not like to interact. Or perhaps she had known that already, but was stupid enough to think he would suddenly change a huge aspect of his personality just to answer her question.

Feeling his blade plunge through not only Zenos’s left eye, but also some parts of his brain, as he deduced by the fact that he actually felt his blade hitting the interior back of his skull, Yukito let out a brief, yet satisfactory sigh of relief. In his mind he felt that the battle was now at an end, after all, there was no one, except for a god, could survive such an attack. However, he would soon be proven dreadfully wrong as he felt the iron whiskers zipping through Zenos’ flesh, holding them in place, and subsequently trapping Yukito’s sword embedded deep within the Espada’s skull, to say it was a macabre sight to behold, would be an understatement.

Realizing that he was in deep danger for being in such close proximity, Yukito attempted to pull his sword free, to no avail. As he concentrated on breaking free, he didn’t notice Zenos as he moved his left hand towards him ”Yukito! Watch out!” yelled Kasumi, causing his eyes to shoot back towards Zenos, just as the man pressed his fingers towards his left shoulder. In a flash, his eyes widened in shock and horror as he felt his left shoulder, and the surrounding area, start to petrify. It wasn’t just the flesh, but even his very blood and bone was being turned to stone. He attempted to open his mouth to express his disbelief, but could not find the strength to do so, given his state of shock and awe ”Don’t space out now Yukito!” yelled Kasumi once more, as Zenos fired a Cero towards Yukito, aiming to disintegrate his petrified shoulder.

Left with no other choice, Yukito activated his Bankai’s highest level technique as well, Silver Mist Fang. In an instant, another sword appeared on his free hand, as the two wolves disappeared from their respective areas, and reappeared on his hands and feet as white wisp-like entities. Seeing as how he barely had a second to react, Yukito began to swing his sword to meet the incoming attack, just as a shadow with a striking similarity to Kasumi enshrouded him, completing the technique’s activation. In a split-second, Yukito’s speed and strength rose to extreme levels, utilizing this, he made his counter-attack against the Cero, striking the beam of light numerous times, leaving several after-images until the attack was eventually disintegrated. Turning his attention back to Zenos, Yukito attempted another assault against the seemingly immortal Espada. Using his speed, and the fact that in this form he is able to leave several afterimages in his wake, he made another attack aimed at his other eye, but before it could reach, another attack started to appear, this time aiming for a thrusting attack into Zenos’ left ear, in an attempt to puncture the Espada’s inner ear drum.

Because of his form’s afterimage effect, it would seem that Yukito had suddenly grown another arm at his right arm’s shoulder joint, and was now using both to attack Zenos. However, the assault would never come to fruition. As his blade neared its target, Yukito suddenly felt himself at a loss of breath, deciding that it would be folly to persist; Yukito reappeared several feet away, leaving an afterimage behind, as solid as a Gemelos Sonido. Not wanting to leave his sword, Yukito deactivated his Silver Mist Fang, before reactivating it, causing the sword to materialize in his grasp once more. Panting heavily, Yukito slowly realized that his left lung was also petrified, something that would put him at a further disadvantage in the battle. However, he managed to successfully blind one of Zenos’ eyes, seeing as how the Espada seemed to have iron whiskers embedded in one of his eyes.

Unohana Retsu - 4th Seat Of Yonbantai -

Unohana wiped the tears from her face, though still retaining her soft smile. "What use would I have if not to help you Taichou.." She increased her own outflow of spiritual pressure to help increase Minazuki's power. Unohana could only nod her head, she focused all her attention on the complete recovery of her Captain. "You are at least half way healed by now Captain, but your injurie- huh?" Unohana gave a gasp of surprise and terror as Jurisho, who had just shown up recently, was now baring a sword against her, running in for a quick and fatal attack, Unohana jumped to her feet immediately, avoiding the attacks brutality but still suffering a rather harsh cut to her right forearm, grasping it with her other hand, she looked bewildered at Jurisho. "Wh-why? Why have you done this?" She was in a rather horrible predicement at this time, while Minazuki's abilities offered immense healing power, they offered no protective power, so, at this moment, Jurisho was standing right next to Ashely, and being in the condition she was in, she wouldn't be able to defend herself, unaware of Yukimura's state, as she was not focused on that, only focused on her Captain, she thought of the only plan possible, in order to save her Captain "Nadameru!"

Minazuki's mouth opened wider and it wrapped its tongue around Ashely quickly consuming her. "FLY!" She screamed, and in an instant, Minazuki rose to incredible heights, speeding off away from the arena, in the completely opposite direction of Zenos, she knew it was risky, but he was dealing with more than four Captains at the moment, she didn't believe he'd bother with something useless like that. Unohana was currently left helpless, all she could use to her defense was Kido. "Whatever the reason for your defection, I can't allow you to try and harm anyone, if you want to try and attack me, so be it, but I will not stand here and die before you." She eyed Jurisho with a quivering brow, sweat was dripping from her face. "Bakudo 79, Kuyō Shibari!" Eight black holes appeared around Jurisho and another manifesting in the center of her chest, aiming to trap her. This took a lot out of Unohana, but it was the best she could do. She dropped to her knees, she was still in her Shikai state, and with all the healing she had already performed, still maintaining Shikai and using a high level Kido, she was running out of energy, she dropped to her knees, placing a hand on one and breathing heavily.

Captain of Squad Five

Akusuna watched as Eighth Squad Captain managed to impale the Espada's eye, but seemed to have difficulty pulling back out. This came at a cost to his own being, from what Akusuna could see, but left the idea to linger in his mind. Making his next move, Akusuna solidified and started his next round of kido.
"Bakudo 99: Kin. Bakudo 75: Gochūtekkan." Akusuna cast upon Zenos once the other Captain had moved back. Lifting one hand, Akusuna continued to his next kido, intent on pinning Zenos to the pillars he had summoned. "Bakudo 62: Hyapporankan. Hado 91: Senjū Kōten Taihō."
As Akusuna lit the area up with spells, all aimed at a single enemy, the Fifth Squad Captain didn't stop moving. As the last of the kido hit, he moved in rapidly and stabbed at the face of the Espada. He aimed closer to the side of the Espada's head that was missing an eye, working from a blind spot. With hope, he could at least land the hit before the Espada noticed.
