Inside a large cavern in the obvious mountain near the rural planes, a large red dragon was laying amidst what appeared to be a sea of gold coins. In truth, it wasn't nearly as much as it appeared, but dragons were prideful and often manipulated magic to appear to have more than they did. Beside the slumbering dragon was a fragile looking woman in a black cloak. She was sitting on the hard cavern ground, leaning against the large red beast. "I wonder when they'll figure out that you haven't eaten anyone, mother..." she murmured to the dragon with much amusement as she recalled the last to be sent away from her mother's cave.
Mala, as she always did this early, was praying by herself to her beloved goddess for guidance and the safety of her precious Riley. She wanted that heathen gone, out of her brother's body and out of her life. Of course, the redheaded maiden was not likely to get her wish anytime soon. Things were never that easy. She knew this all too well..

"Oi, if you're gonna be up this early, you could at least start making breakfast..." Van said, still partially asleep as he leaned lazily against the door frame.
Kora silently crept up to the cave, stealthily peering around the corner to see a large red dragon and a girl inside. She'd heard rumors of a dragon supposedly gobbling up people left and right and had been hired to kill the beast.

A creepy cackle could be heard from within the town square. ((where mala and van where?)) A rather tall figure with dried blood and strange horns was being nearly choked by a man of the law "it was not me sir I ate a baby yesterday not today" he said as the knight pulled out his sword and threatened to kill the figure "oh go ahead, you priests and god can go bite me for all I care" he said and grabbed the knight by the helm and lifted him off the ground. At this people began to gather and scream, all crying "moster! demon!". The figure laughed as he suddenly crushed the knights skull. Helm and all. At this more knights rushed in to subdue the demon.

Mala turned to face Van, giving no explanation as to why she was in here doing whatever vague activity she was doing versus cooking for him. "If you're that hungry, you'll cook for yourself." she said calmly. As she recalled, Mala was usually the one doing all kinds of back-breaking labour while Riley would cook and generally have a much easier life. She wondered if either one of the beings - Riley or Van - knew of what she went through just to assure her brother a good life. "Besides, last time I tried I nearly burnt the house down."
Argamorne opened her eyes slightly to gaze over at Argamene. Without bothering to move her jaws she replied to her small daughter, "It isn't my fault they couldn't find their way back home." in an uncaring manner. After this she closed her eyes and listened to her surroundings once more, enjoying the songs that the stones would sing for those of drakonic blood to hear while making sure that none of the rejected-partners would return. Argamorne caught whiff of a scent that was most unfamiliar to her. She dared not move, but was prepared to spit out fire at the intruder should their intentions be less than peaceful.

"You think I could do better? Gods don't need to eat. The brat, however, does." Van said before yawning and folding his hands behind his head. "Don't come crying to me if your brother kicks the bucket from hunger. After all, I'll probably just get sucked back up into that stupid ring again for the next hapless person to pick up."
Kora raised one of her blades. She was facing down a dragon with such small weapons, this was certainly going to be one of her more challenging marks. After taking a deep breath, she suddenly leapt out into the cave's entrance and charged toward the dragon.

The figure did not struggle as he was held down by 5 knights in full armor and followed by the local priest "yes come along sheep herd this way to your death" the figure cackled again. The knights and the father were dragging the demon to the front of the church (( dirtbag in the morning)) and very close to Mala and Vans house. If they were up they would here the sound of nosiy villagers saying something about capturing a demon and going to kill it.

Mikhael stepped into the latest town/village on his long, meandering travels. He looked around, making sure Boone was paying him any mind before he slipped out of sight. He pulled a small box from his jacket. He opened it, revealing small bones. He smirked a little as the bones came together, forming a small skeletal bird, which took off into the air, flying around for a few minutes before returning to him. He smiled a twisted, but genuine smile. "Thanks." The bird jumped back into the box, and fell apart. "Place of worship? Should check it out..." first thing he needed to find in any town he entered. Places to avoid. He started back into sight, towards the building.

Mala clenched her teeth and fists, not too pleased by Van's words. "If my brother dies because of you, I'm burrying that piece of s**t so deep that it'll never be found by anyone ever again." she threatened in a dark tone, meaning every word of it. Of course, it didn't mean that she was going to let him starve. "We're going to the town square to get you a meal, then." she said after a couple moments, shooting deathglares at Van as she motioned for him to follow. She kept hearing shouts and screams from outside, but simply assumed that she was hearing things. Now, Mala was curious.
Argamorne was generally surprised, but quickly recovered from the sudden attack as she spat a moderate-sized ray of fire from her mouth and nostrils. Argamene continued to sit on the cavern floors, simply waiting to see how the fight would end.

The figure hummed a song to himself as he was now on his knees in front of the priest and knights, all sword and weapons aimed at him. Along the way of the 5 or so knights 2 were killed by this thing. One with a crushed skull and the other was.....bitten in half. The crowd started to cheer and such as they awaited for the demon to be slain.

"If you think I'd be stupid enough to purposefully kill the one body I've had in god knows how long, then I think all that praying has made you loopy. It may not have the ruggedly handsome looks I used to have, but it's certainly attractive enough as it is." Van said rubbing his chin with a pleased expression as he followed Mala.
Kora quickly leapt out of the way, jumping up onto the cave wall and propelling herself towards Argamorne.

Stopped suddenly, hearing a commotion. He smirked a little. He could feel it. There was already death involved. He changed direction, quickly making his way to the center of the activity. He stayed blended in the crowd. He didn't need to ask anyone what Was going on. It was fairly obvious. He wanted so bad to raise one of the dead knights. But, at this moment, it seemed to not be the best course of action.

Mala rolled her eyes, not bothering to reply to Van as she lead the way out of the house. What sight greeted her was utterly gruesome and shocking. Corpses were everywhere, screams could be heard, and there was some abomination fighting with multiple guards. "Dear gods! What in the name of Atius is going on?!" she exclaimed. She would've been more horrified by the blood and gore had she not seen...unfortunate accidents happen at her previous places of work before.
Argamorne whipped herself around, attempting to swat Kora like a baseball with her tail. Argamene giggled at this and randomly exclaimed, "I just realised that she's female!" Argamene was sometimes quite the spaz, as you can tell, and wasn't well known for her intelligence.
