Lynette gave the newcomer a smile. It was only with that smile that she was able to hold back an exasperated sigh. How obvious could this girl get? She was head over heels for Kyouya. Of course, Kyouya wouldn't help the matter by leading her on but it was ridiculous. Trying to actually get along with this blatantly obvious girl would be difficult. She just seemed so much in her own little world.
"As a hostess, I feel like I should be offering you some tea. Would you like any? We have several different types from all around the globe."

Selena smiles sipping her tea asking curiously "thank you but i was already offered some" Selena repiled " an arent your customer wondering where you got off to ?" Selena weave the politeness in with jabs of her own rasing an eyebrow while sipping the tea she had been givin earlier "of coruse i know about the tea's form different arears my self tranferring from paris recently" Selena turn her attion back to kyouya " so i hear that there is going to be a halloween event soon is it going to be a dance?" Lynette resisted the urge to roll her eyes. This girl... Gah! She merely shook her head. She had to keep it cool and stay polite. She didn't need her reputation to be even more obscure.
"Well, being a Hostess, I am also expected to be able to change my area every once in a while. If you look around, you'll notice several other Hostesses talking to the Hosts themselves. I'm not the only one. In fact, today we all happen to be participating in a little learning exercise to see just how the guys run their club. All the customers are guys and today happens to be a big sports day so thats where most of them are. Check out to soccer club if you want to meet some."
She gestured to the cup of tea.
"So you've been to Paris? Quite lovely this time of year. Did you see any of the cathedrals or churches? They are quite spectacular. Especially at sunset."
Lynette smiled at the mention of the dance though. The last one had been so entertaining. Selenia hadn't been there though... Not surprising since she had only just transferred.
"Yes, the dance should be quite enjoyable. As long as you like black magic and a bit more darkness than necessary."
She turned to Kyouya as well.
"Speaking of which, Kyouya. Do you know when the tickets are going to go on sale? Last time we started a good few weeks ahead and still only got a select few people. Its already October and I believe it may be time to start preparing. Is there a theme yet besides Halloween? For Hosts and Hostesses I mean."
I'm happy to just watch...

Lynette looked cautiously at the two. Kyouya so easily tricked these girls. A bit ironic really. Ah well. It was her own loss. When she ended up heartbroken and crying it was nobody's fault but her own.
The mention of Halloween sparked so many ideas inside her. It was her favorite holiday and there were so many good reasons. It was the only day people could be truly honest with themselves. Every single day people pretended to be someone they were not and on Halloween they easily admitted that fact.
"Well, if I may. I think a perfect substitution for cherry blossoms would be, now please don't regard me as strange, dead trees strung with either cobwebs or jack-o-lantern lights.
