((Posicle booth: Xiu -> Laz, Varun & Kenth; Hazeline to the Beach -> Ebony))
Xiu smiled when the older Sigel finally completed what he was doing and turned to face him. Nodding at the question, Xiu gave a silent chuckle and held out his right hand. The wounds were barely visible and the white raevan gave an exaggerated flex to show that he was fine and well.
Lazarus had then directed his attention to a couple of sheets of paper, suggesting that he should join in the games that were being hosted there. Xiu looked thoughtful. Should he? He was never much of a gaming person but…the seashell game sounded harmless enough and as for the paintball… Xiu recalled Joshua mentioning that it was the ultimate awesome game in the universe. The boy had returned home after a round of said game covered with paint splotches but he did not seem troubled by it. Besides, Hazeline was always going on and on about letting his inner child out and having fun. Shrugging Xiu took the pen and like Lazarus, placed his name down for the seashell picking contest and the paintball war. The white raevan wasn’t sure if Hazeline would like to have a go at the games. His guardian tended to be satisfied with standing at the sidelines on most occasions. Well, Hazeline could always sign herself up if she needed to. There was no harm in that. Placing the signup sheet down, Xiu backed away from the booth to allow others a chance at the signup sheet too when…
“Varun…?” mouthed the silent Sigel with surprised when the red headed frei suddenly appeared before him and began eyeing him with an interest often associated with one male seizing the other up. Which probably wasn’t too far from the truth. In the past, the two males had been…rivals of sort. Nodding a little uncertainly at the Leviathan Xiu backed away a little only to bump into someone who was reading the menu. Turning around to apologize, Xiu felt, for the first time, what it was to have your heart drop to your stomach. “Dr. Larine…?” said Xiu wordlessly with surprised and…disbelief. Xiu had never imagined Kenth to be much of a beach person and seeing him here was rather like seeing a clown in a library but if Kenth was here, that would mean his Raevan was about somewhere. Blue eyes searched and soon found the young frei asking Zeke for a game.
--------------------------
Having seen Xiu settling himself with Raevans he knew, the white Raevan’s guardian made a quick beeline for the beach. She had always liked walking along the seaside and watching the waves wipe her footprints away. Before she got too close to the water though Hazeline spotted a familiar figure sunbathing on the beach. Approaching the purpled haired woman, Hazeline smiled and called out “Hey, this sure is…a change from those thick winter clothes, huh?”

((Popsicle Booth - Zeke Water's Edge - Anastacia)) Zeke gave Aphismet a knowing wave back as the chef called over that he could have what he wanted when he wanted it, but was otherwise taken up with Varun. Watching the colorful Frei and explaining what things were Zeke hadn't noticed Ekundayo's approach (which was helped by the fact she was hanging back and had rather muted colors in comparison). Lazarus' approach wasn't lost and the purple and green haired man gave the Sigel a cheery 'hey!' and a wave right back. He'd seen Lazarus around the Lab but hadn't properly introduced or talked to the Sigel - they'd both seemed to be busy when their paths crossed, but maybe there'd be time for that today if the Incubus wasn't busy with his own station.
"Seashells?" He said as he heard that tapping and Varun placed his request. "Sure, no problem!" He picked the form up and nabbed a pen, going to pass the two to the Frei. The request for paintball was also noted but before he could offer the two items Varun was off with...Xiu? Zeke's eyes widened a touch behind his sunglasses. He was a Sigel now, what a thing! It hadn't been that long since he'd seen the Pi Yao as a Frei had it? Jeez, a lot could happen in a short span of time but with a beam tossed to the white Raevan along with a cheery wave, Zeke wrote Varun's name down on both forms and set them back down. Now with that out of the way, he was well aware he was baking in the sun and needed his own patch of shade. Once Zeke rolled up his sleeves he knelt down and pulled the pieces of his beach umbrella down, and set to work erecting his makeshift shade.
He just had the bottom pole screwed into the upper portion when a light voice caught his attention. Zeke's head turned and he caught sight of the cutest Raevan he had seen to date, prompting the man to pinch his eyes shut and open them again as though he had been hit with a reflection of the sun off the ocean water. Nope, still pretty damn cute. The excitement on her face only made that cuteness pop and he found himself grinning like a fool at her. Resting the umbrella's pole against his side of the stand, Zeke took a couple steps toward her and gestured toward the papers.
"You'd like to sign up? Okay! Which game would you like to play?"
---
A slender brow slightly lofted as Anastacia was looked at and looked in return. While Vyn was making assessments on her spidery features, the younger Frei was doing very much the same. Despite the white she wore, Anastacia likened her to Rivener with her red hair and dark features that came to a head in her eyes. Aesthetically, this foreign female was interesting - dark - like Lucia had been and like she herself was. She'd only met a small handful of her kind so far, but none of them had been garish in their coloration and even Zul's tans and blues hadn't been an eyesore. Already, first impressions were positive, even if - once again - she felt the red head was likened to the rest and had something she seemed to lack. It was something Anastacia hadn't really lingered on but four for four now...
And she was speaking. That living crown-topped head of Anya's raised in attention, giving the Frei her ear even if she wasn't liking that she might have to continue this conversation. The question the Rose posed could be answered easily and without speaking. Anya liked that. But as she turned to point to the little creature she had been trying to right she found it gone. Her lofted brow joined its brother in a furrow. Anastacia looked around on the ground and even flicked her spear-like wings to send herself floating over the dampened sand but all traces of the crab where gone.
Where...? Dammit. She turned back, but to the right, so she caught the slow approach of something green as well as the placement of a towel and a human woman upon it. There was a dog near the latter and she could already tell the animal was not sick. Of no interest, even if she was feeding constantly and thus not hungry, and it better stay over there. Turning all the way back to the one she was engaged with, her corner-most unblinking eye kept watch over the green blur that was heading this way and the person/animal pair nearby. The rest remained on Vyn. Now what to say?
"Small creature here," and she pointed to the line where wet met dry and could feel her upper arm on that side going numb with tingling. Her other hand raised across her chest and gripped the spot, rubbing idly and it might appear as though she had an itch or a bug just nipped the spot. "Not anymore..." She trailed off, tossing an agitated look to the sand where the sideways moving thing had been. All that work, wasted now.

(( popsicle booth ))
What would be the best? Lemon or watermelon?
Kenth frowned in thought, completely absorbed as if the choice meant something far more serious. The debate, however, was cut short when someone else bumped into him. Raising an eyebrow in surprise and displeased, Kenth was about to issue to careless individual a warning before seeing who it was. White hair and blue eyes, a Raevan who looked similar to himself and very much familiar.
"Xiu?" Kenth mumbled to himself, staring at the white Raevan. He looked the same, yet different. He had...a torso now. The doctor realized then that the Frei had grown to a Sigel. What a curious sight! The doctor was immediately overcame by curiousity, but he had no time to start a conversation with Xiu before his own subject's voice caught his attention.
Xuelian was confused at the green man's words. Sign up? What's that? Being inexperienced in participating in group activities the dainty Raevan did not understand that she had to sign up to join in a game. To her, a game was just like a drink or a popsicle, one that can be bought and taken. She tilted her head and blinked, not sure how to respond.
"Sign up? Is it game?" She questioned, wondering how to play the "sign-up" game.
"What's going on?" Her guardian caught up to her, eyeing Zeke with a rather disapproving look. The man looked just as colorful as the popsicles! It may be his style, but Kenth can't help but to frown at the overly flashy and unnecessary accessories the man wore. On another thought, Zeke's attire certainly fit the circuit-like booth. Perhaps the man had dressed up intentionally?
"I want to have game." Xuelian answered Kenth's inquiry, pointing at the paper with "game" written on it. The guardian shifted his attention from the owner and looked at the sign-up sheets. Games...of course, in a party like this, it was one of the few things that seemed appropriate.
"It appears there are two kinds of games." Kenth squinted, adjusting his glasses so he can read the descriptions more closely. "Seashells and...paintball?" Unfortunately, the white haired doctor had no knowledge of how to play either of them, so he was not much help in deciding which one Xuelian should sign up for.
"Sign up is a game?" Seeing Kenth reading the sign-up sheet out loud, the teal girl added, pointing out that her guardian was missing another game.
"No, sign-up is..." The doctor started, but can't seem to find the right word to explain what the procedure meant. The real world was too complicated for Xuelian, Kenth was starting to get a headache from all her difficult questions.
"There, can you explain, Mr. owner?" Eventually he signed and gave up, turning to Zeke for help. "How do you play these two games, and, while you are at it, may I order a watermelon popsicle?"

[ Vyn. Oceanside. Ethan. Petting zoo -> Popsicle booth. ]
The awkward silence as the other realised that whatever creature she had been looking at had made its escape was almost embarrassing for Vyn. It highlighted the childish nature of the spidery femme; her words were rudimentary, simple enough to allow Vyn to classify the other as relatively newborn. Not only that, but her understanding of what had happened also appeared childish, especially when she lunged downwards with her deadly tipped wings and hovered above the point where the beach met the ocean. Her periwinkle eyes and presumably the unblinking set were searching for whatever escapist creature she had previously been monitoring. Vyn had been wary or – even intimidated- by a newborn. It seemed silly.
That being said, the shadowy girl did appreciate the brief respite from the piercing gaze of the other raevan. Whilst the girl ran her hand over the damp sand and gripped tightly at her shoulder joint Vyn looked around. The event was becoming increasingly busier and a whole host of raevans and their human guardian were now flocking around the various stalls. Ethan was still at the petting zoo, though the man he had been speaking with was walking away. Approaching where she and the other dark frei floated were two familiar faces.
Closest and approaching with a dog bounding along on a leash was a human Vyn had once met in a park. Her name eluded her but the shadow distinctly remembered being intimidated by the hound. The other was a minty fresh sigel that the rose had last met at an astounding performance of The Tempest. She definitely knew his name and her pleasure at seeing him at the event emerged on her porcelain face. Both the human and Eiry appeared to be making a line for her and she half smiled at both of them, encouraging them. She half hoped that their presence would diffuse some of the other girl’s intensity..
Responding to the rather dejected words that the purple haired girl had uttered Vyn displayed an polite interest in what the other was looking for. Floating over to the edge of the water she lowered herself slightly to get a better look at what was washing in and out of the surf. It could be possible that whatever she had been examining was still nearby. “What did it look like?” Vyn couldn’t really begin to imagine what it could’ve been. A washed up fish couldn’t make an escape over dry land, a starfish could probably crawl – but not fast enough to go unnoticed...
With their conversation drawing to a conclusion Ethan watched the polite man move off after his ward. He seemed pleasant enough and the businessman certainly couldn’t flaw Falthe’s pleasantly polite conversational skills. The petting zoo had died down in slightly and he half wanted to give his hand to one of the interesting creatures, but instead he decided it would be best to explore the other stands... He hadn’t looked about yet and what with the growing crowds he felt he should see what the hubbub was about.
Striding practically in Falthe’s footsteps he crossed the stretch of sand to the Popsicle booth. Zeke was manning it and Ethan certainly thought that the vibrant man suited the stall. On the table before Zeke there was a glass bowl packed with ice out of which protruded the sticks of his sweet cold treats – like a gaudy cold porcupine. However, there was also a piece of paper being passed around and when it became free he took a look at it, smiling at his vet briefly in acknowledgement before turning his attention to the printed details.
Apparently the LAB was running a trio of events – one of which was aimed exclusively at the raevans. Amused by this Ethan swiftly removed a fountain pen from his pocket (he kept a pen with him at most times for convenience as it often became necessary and looked professional in a business situation) and marked Vyn’s name down under the shell collecting contest and, after a moment’s thought, the sandcastle building contest. He was sure his daughter wouldn’t mind... His pen did linger over the paintballing name list and looking up he waited for a lull in the conversations Zeke was having to ask; “The paint used in the paintballing event... does it wash out of clothes?”

(( Petting Booth // Popsicle Stand ))
"You are trouble," Alex retorted easily to the word-twisting man, crossing her arms and giving him a knowing smirk. She didn't mind the banter with Ty, as most people had left the booth and it was nice to give someone a hard time - her brand of friendly affection. She arched a dark brow at the look he gave her, just about ready to add in that he better not sass her as she was likely older than he, but it appeared the Aussie had other ideas.
The woman suddenly found her feet lacking connection with the ground, making her utter a short squeak of surprise, entirely too caught off-guard to even have presence of mind to grab onto her captor. Just as suddenly, she found her body from mid-thigh to chest rather wet and an aquatic fox delightedly splashing her to add water everywhere else. Alex simply sat in the pool as such for a moment, stark disbelief on her features before she turned her green eyes to Ty, the color bleeding into the infamous 'radioactive' stare with a defiant purse of her lips. "Oooh, you are so lucky that I can't retaliate--!" Damn being on staff! Despite her threat, her tone was more of a pout, cupping her hand in the pool and lobbing some of the water at Ty.
"It's warm," she finally admitted at length, grumbling as she carefully extracted herself from the pool, careful not to bend the sides and lose the water. Standing, she gave herself a good shake to fling off the excess water, hopefully nailing Ty in the process. Alex peered down the length of her body, sighing at the point of wetness before ending in understated laughter. "You, sir..." She waggled her finger at Ty, clearly biting her tongue to 'be good,' as it were. She didn't know the Aussie well enough to launch into a verbal assault, nor could she rightly tackle him. Not yet, anyway. The day was long!
---
Zul smiled at Anita's gentle insistence that he move on, inclining his head politely and doing just that. He was surprised when Cordelia extracted herself from his arm and went to see...Rivener? The demon lofted a dark brow at the motion, something like grim satisfaction on his features for just a moment. He knew the Scorpion enjoyed the attention, and surely, he would not be getting so much if they all knew the time they spent together...
It was a grave misunderstanding, but the demon could not be bothered to see beyond it. Turning the full shine of his smile onto Lette, he lead her the rest of the way to the popsicle booth, patting her arm en route. "There are many of us," he agreed to her observation, allowing his eyes to turn around the gathered. Chuckling at her offer, he lightly shook his head, pausing at the booth opposite of where most of the people were crowded, awaiting his turn to sign up for the games and offer some more answers to Lette.
"I can't eat, not like you," he explained. "I am a Frei. The bigger ones, like Rivener, they are Sigel." Zul indicated his lack of stomach, rolling his bare shoulders in a relaxed shrug. "They all sound good, but I don't really...know." The demon offered a demure smile at the confession, reaching out to grab one of the ice cubes out of the bowls. It was an easy demonstration this way, as it he wasn't very hungry and he did oh so love to show off when he could. It'd been a while since he had - Anita, being the last. Extending his hand so Lette could see the ice cube, he closed his fingers around it; a few seconds passed, and when he opened his hand, the cube was gone without a trace of wetness on his glove. "We all feed differently," he purred in a pleased tone, smoky voice lulled with satisfaction.

(( Oceanfront >> Petting Zoo ))
Taking the notepad in his left hand Ronan wrote down an address, the writing utensil practically skittering over the paper. The handwriting itself was a strange combination of scrawly and neat, and though it was still perfectly legible, it looked a bit odd.
"This is the address for my post box. I check it everyday on my way home from work, so hopefully I won't miss any photos you might send," Ronan explained. What he didn't mention was the reason for having a post box instead of mail box - a certain.... incident where a young Maili had decided hiding the utility bills would be a suitable form of revenge for a time out.
Feeling a strange sort of pride that Anita wanted bring her future raevan to the aquarium, he continued to listen to what she had to say about the raevan itself. Ronan had some rudimentary knowledge about raevans from Maili's attempts at research, but it was all rather fragmented, and it was fascinating to hear things in a more complete form. Any special emphasis on the mistletoe description was lost on him, but his eyes couldn't help but widen when he heard that raevans were created by combining a soul with these "fel essences." The surprises weren't over yet though, for just a few moments later he heard about her raevan.
"A crocodile.... with mistletoe that makes you kiss? I guess I must wish you even more luck then miss Anita!" he said with laugh. With the announcement of her departure, Ronan gave short wave in farewell, hoping to himself that he might actually see her with her raevan at the aquarium someday. Even though he had just met her, she seemed like quite a nice young woman.
"Thank you for the offer, but I will have to politely decline," he said apologetically to Leo. "Even so, have a good day and perhaps another time." Giving another small farewell wave, Ronan jogged over to his things, laying down on his towel to bake dry for a bit, hands interlaced behind head as his eyes followed the clouds. As he mentally traced out shapes from the fluffy forms above, his muscles luxuriated in the heat, unwinding gratefully from his swim. Once dry enough that he wouldn't make himself into the abominable sand monster by falling into the sand, he stood back up, doing some arm windmills and various stretching to work out any last kinks. Surveying his surroundings, Ronan spotted the least populated booth of the moment, the petting zoo, and began to walk over, curious as to what it was.

[[Drinks Booth >> Petting Zoo (Aphismet) // Drinks Booth (Rivener) // Tags to kitten, Aki Ana, Ebony, Kyou, AC wings, Yuurei and Chrys. Goodness! ]]
Rivener chuckled at Pasha's admission that his whining needed practice. THAT was certainly a nice compliment, seeing as Riv hadn't wanted to be seen as whiny in the first place. However, the Scorpion remained confused as to why Melisande wouldn't want to go sign up for things. She really seemed out of sorts, but Riv supposed he shouldn't pry if she didn't want to share. He could just try to be here and offer some kind of support, hoping it was actually doing some good. Delia looked pouty that her suggestion to go to the popsicle stand hadn't panned out, so Riv attempted to cheer her up by ruffling that pinned-up crown of dark hair she sported. "I'm sure she'll go later," Riv whispered to the snake, encouraging.
"I think what we're doing here is the same: Pasha's enjoying her drink, and I'll be enjoying mine as soon as it gets handed over. ...Though I'm not so sure you should have any of this stuff, Dells. It's for grown-ups."
Doucette had given him a hello, so of course Rivener waved at the woman again, a corner of his lips lifting. "Caught your soul, you said, right? Good for you!"
That was when Kyou returned from picking up the key in the back near the refrigerator, the man exclaiming in shock over Riv's drink order. With a wry grin Riv just nodded, turning fully to the bar and sighing in relief when the two double shots were handed over. "Early or not, when you need 'em you need 'em and that's all there is to it. Besides, two double-shots aren't all that bad for me." His innate poison-resistance granted him a pretty decent drinker's stomach, as had been discovered at his and Laz's impromptu New Years get-together. One after the other Rivener knocked back the shot glasses, wincing and making a face at the bitter taste that burned down his throat.
...But oh, it hit pretty quickly at least. Riv turned back to look at Delia and found his body warming all over, a slight flushed color to his cheeks. Everything felt dulled, and Riv smiled. THIS was more like it! He could be perfectly happy now, with the rest of the stinging pain of before forgotten. "That's better!" he said, grinning.
Aphismet raised his hands in defense at Lil's spitfire, the girl instantly on the defensive about food. "Alright, alright, no food talks today. Just enjoy the beach. And come get some BBQ from me when you get hungry, alright? Iorek, glad to see you're well too!" The man felt so happy to have seen the kids again, his grin about as bright as the sun.
And suddenly the conversation veered towards Alex, the chef giving a chuckle: as he thought, they didn't know he was seeing her. "Yeah, we're together! Over a year now, actually... and she and Zul live with us in Durem now, too! It's pretty serious... Ah!" A splash from the Petting Zoo drew Aphi's attention, his eyes blinking wide from behind his sunglasses. Ty had dropped Alex into the pool? And eesh, Aphi could see the Radioactive Glare from over here... "...Erm, 'scuse me you guys, I think I'd better go make sure Alex isn't being bothered too much. Enjoy the beach! Lil, I think Isi's around somewhere," the chef tossed over his shoulder at the last moment, chuckling.
With a last wave to the Maevins, Aphi walked to the Petting Zoo, wondering how quickly he should get over there. He only walked, but should he run? Would he be able to catch Alex before she threw the first punch? The chef pushed his shades up onto his hair, keeping the white bangs out of his eyes. He was glad to get the chance to talk to Alex during the party, but he wasn't so much enjoying the fact she'd been (playfully? he hoped) bullied. As the chef neared, he tilted his head at Ty. "Throwing women into pools without their consent isn't a really good way to make an impression, you know..." He grinned slightly, though when he came to a stop it was nearer Alex than Ty, tugging at one of her damp strands of hair. "...you alright?"

((Lucia=petting zoo-> drinks stand / Yuurei=beach / Ty=petting zoo))
Screw it, Lucia thought. Sitting on the ground by the petting zoo was boring. Chilling by the beach was boring. If she had to be out with everyone who hated her, she was going to enjoy herself. Floating upwards, the Kitten decided she didn’t care who was where and with whom. If she liked someone, she would talk to them. She was being cautious enough about not going to the spirit world. She didn’t want to tempt fate or other spirits that way, but she wasn’t going to separate herself from everyone just to please those who chose to hold a grudge.
Golden curls drew her eyes to the drinks booth. Pasha! Was she by herself? Looking by her, the only person she could see was Delia! The frei couldn’t see around her two friends to what looked like could be another person. But at this point, she didn’t care.
Lucia floated silently towards Meli. She stalled in her pursuit when she saw a pair of black horns. And strands of red and black hair. ********. The one raevan she didn’t want to force her company on. Blinking and trying to figure out what to do, Lucia abandoned her idea of sneaking up behind Pasha and giving her a surprise hug and kiss – oh! was she feeling better now?
Instead Lucia ventured a bit away from her, but still towards the drinks stand. Settling in front of the booth a bit further from Pasha and Delia away from Rivener, she tried to order a drink: any milk-based drink. She couldn’t have much without a stomach, but a small bit of liquid was good for her mouth and throat on hot days.
If Pasha and Delia – or even Rivener if he had gotten over himself – or anyone else around noticed her and wanted to talk, she’d be grateful. If not she could always try to interject herself elsewhere. But, she thought, looking over at the popsicle stand, it was way too busy over there.
---------
Yuurei had finally set up the lounge area not to far, she realized when looking around, from Ebony. She was one of the few people the blonde knew by face and name. ”Hey you!” she called out to the purple-haired guardian. ”It’s been a while. I don’t think I’ve seen you since before Halloween.”
The woman walked over to her acquaintance to strike up small talk. ”How is Cordelia doing?” Yuurei knew that Ebony had been worried about her – from what Lucia had related, but she wasn’t going to just bring it up.
----------
Ty laughed warmly as the chimera added to the splashing, thinking that Alex was a new playmate. ”Oy!” he called out through his laughter as she threw some water at him. ”That’s for the fishes and chimeras!” His tone was teasing. As Alex stood up, he extended his hand to help her out of the pool, enjoying the refreshing water that was splashed on him as she shook herself off.
Ty grinned and said, ”Yeeees?” as she stopped after ‘sir.’ It was obvious that she was going to scold. But she had hit him first. Well…after he pinched her. As she laughed Ty knew he was in the clear.
When Aphi basically stalked over, Ty resisted the urge to roll his eyes. Fun police alert. Raising an eyebrow at the scolding he simply replied, ”We met before. She already has at least some sort of impression of me.” Ty’s brilliant green eyes looked at Aphi. ”And what’s a party if you can’t loosen up and have some fun.” He wasn’t about to be another stuffed shirt because this guy told him to be. It was almost comical, the way he was babying her, trying to see if the water was making her melt or something.
Bending at his knees, Ty reached out and stroked the fur of the foxfish that had ‘played’ with Alex in the water. Pulling his dark stylish sunglasses out of his pocket, he slid them on. Splashing water at the chimera, and laughing lightly as it splashed back, he watched Alex and Aphi. So was she spoken for? If so he didn’t care too much. She was cute and fun to play with, but he could get tail easy enough elsewhere if he wanted.

((Ebs=Beach (Tag to Fathle, Hazeline & Yuu) // Delia=Drink Booth (Tag to Kyou & Rivener))
“Hmm?” Ebony murmured as she lofted her head just enough to see who was interrupting her little catnap. Her jaw slackened some at the sight she caught then, her bidding rival greatly dressed down (for him at least) with the sun glinting off his well defined chest, fiery hair tussling softly in the breeze. Suddenly the Brit remembered just how much less she was wearing than last they’d met and blushed, deeply embarrassed even though she knew she shouldn’t be. It was the beach after all and this outfit was completely acceptable!
Quickly scrambling to her feet, sanding kicking up as she stood, “Mi-mister Lekabel! I, um, didn’t see you there.” Self consciously, one tanned leg lightly rubbed the back of the other as Ebony desperately tried to piece herself together and try to forget what she was wearing in front of him. “H-how have you been? And Ekundayo?”
“Hey, this sure is…a change from those thick winter clothes, huh?”
Her lilac colored head swiveled around quickly at the introduction of another and Ebony couldn’t hide the big, grateful grin sweeping her face. Just as she’d been silently praying for someone or something to save her from her own awkwardness, the heavens saw it fit to grant her request.
“Hazeline! Ello! Oh, um, have you meet Mister Lekabel yet?” She had no idea why she was still referring to him in such a formal manner, she knew his first name after all, but somehow it seemed…right even if the male looked to be in the same age range as her. The woman far too eager to get the attention off herself quickly urged the other woman forward to met Fathle. “He’s Ekundayo’s guardian. Mister Lekabel, this is Miss Hazeline Lee, she’s Xiu’s guardian.”
Suddenly another was shouting at her and yet again Ebony’s head flicked around to find the source. In quiet surprise, her grey eyes widened. “Yuurei? Hey! Hi!” she waved as the other joined them. My seemed the Brit was rather popular right now, but at least she’d effectively forgotten about her earlier embarrassment now. “Cordelia’s well. Chatty and hard to keep still, but well. How is Lucia? Oh! Hazeline, Mister Lekabel, this is Yuurei, Lucia’s guardian.”
Cordelia was about to huff and pout more when the night Sigel oh so brotherly ruffled her hair, yet her anger was diffused with a tiny gesture. “Dells?” she asked unable to control the huge grin before giggling. Had Rivener just given her a nickname? They must be good friends now then! Something that made her chest flutter and warm with joy, Delia’s wings happily clicking in tune.
When the doctor spoke up, asking if she wanted something too, the dark Frei got very quiet and looked around. Did she want something? Delia wasn’t sure since she’d never had the urge or need to want to drink anything before which was probably best since her and water never really got on well in the first place. If it made her tired and cold from just getting wet, imagine what could happen if she willingly drank it!
Yet the snake didn’t want to been seen as a baby in front of all her “grown-up” friends so she shyly asked pointing to the blonde muse, “Can I have it in a cup like Pasha’s?” Given the scorpion’s sudden face as he downed his own drink, Cordelia thought it best to stay as far away from whatever that was and what it came in. Besides, it wasn’t as pretty and interesting looking like the coconut was.

((Drinks Booth))
Melisande relaxed slowly, once the topic of making their way closer to the popsicle booth, and closer to Zul, faded. She shot a grateful glance to Rivener, snowy lashes lowered behind her sunglasses. In response to Delia's question, she'd actually held her coconut out in offering...until she was reminded that alcohol wasn't best for Frei's. Cheeks pink at her mistake, Melisande floated back just a bit. She was glad to hear Delia order one of her own, though, and beamed at the Frei.
"I think you'll like it! They're fun to hold. Mine tastes like-...Lucia!!"
Not exactly what she meant to say, but her train of thought was interrupted Lucia approached. Wings positively fluffing, Melisande twined through the crowd, turning sideways when she had to slip past people waiting. The Sigel balanced the drink awkwardly in one hand, and reached for the dark haired Raevan with the other, intending to hug Lucia around her neck and plant a chaste kiss on her cheek.
"It's good to see you!"

[[Oceanside// Tags mainly for Ebony Shade, Yuurei-dono, and Rapidashtrainer.]]
Fathle smiled kindly and stepped forward to help Ebony to her feet but he was a bit late. He waited for her to get situated; her apparent embarrassment was strangely charming for him. “I did not mean to disturb you so from your sunbathing. I apologize. And I am doing well, thank you, Ms. Shade. Ekundayo is actually looking to some of the games the Lab has in store for later in the afternoon,” he said, glancing back at the Raeven. “I actually have her to thank for finding you, Ms. Shade. I was coming this way to keep an eye on her, the paranoid guardian that I am.”
He was about to ask after Ebony’s well-being but found himself being introduced to a woman named Hazeline Lee. And after that, it seemed as though Ms. Shade had suddenly become the spotlight of attention because not even a few moments after meeting Ms. Lee, Fathle exchanged polite words with another woman named Yuurei. “A pleasure,” he said with a smile. “But, please excuse my rudeness. I must answer a call.” Fathle offered a shallow bow before moving a few feet away from the women and flipped open his cellphone. As he listened to one of his club junior managers, his jawline became set in displeasure. “You do realize that I had made plans to spend with my charge?... I understand. I will arrive as soon as possible.”
Fathle took a few moments to erase the irritation from his pale features before turning back toward Ebony and her friends. “Please, forgive me. I am afraid something work-related will be taking me away for a moment.” He stepped forward and quickly took Ebony’s hand and pressed a quick kiss to it. “Hopefully, it will not take the entire afternoon and we may pick up where we were rudely interrupted. Ms. Lee. Ms. Yuurei. It has been a pleasure. Excuse me.” Fathle offered the other two women a small bow before quickly making his way toward Ekundayo. “My dear…” She turned and offered a small smile. “Hello, Faye.” However, she saw the expression on his face and frowned. “What is the matter?” “I am afraid something rather urgent has come up and I will have to leave.” “What? But we were supposed to stay all afternoon.” “I know, my dear. I am so sorry…” he said, feeling an immense amount of guilt for tearing Ekundayo away and going back on a promise. “Well, all may not be lost. Would you like to stay with Alex?” Ekundayo looked over at the petting zoo. Her first instinct was to blurt out a happy ‘yes’ but she hesitated. No. Wouldn’t she be a burden then? And she would feel strange to be alone without her Faye. “No,” she finally said, taking Fathle’s hand with resignation. “No?” he asked with surprise. “Are you sure?” “Yes.”
Fathle was quiet for a moment. “I do not believe we will be called away for the entire afternoon. I promise, if everything goes quickly, I will bring you back.” Ekundayo looked up at him, feeling the first pangs of disappointment with her guardian. “Okay.” He nodded and squeezed the Raeven’s hand and led her back toward the parking lot.
[[Pulling out of the ORP for personal reasons. Hope to get back in at a later date. So sorry, Ebony!]]

((Drinks Booth Lucia Only))
Lucia smiled and let out a soft sigh of contentment as Pasha stopped her before she could even get a drink. Her arms wrapped around her friend’s waist in a hug as she accepted the kiss and made a display of giving a loud and exuberant one right back. ”It’s good to see you too.” She was quieter than normal, but happy to see Melisande and be a little more private.
”Are you feeling better now?” she asked softly into her friend’s ear. Her violet eyes peered at the Muse’s face thoughtfully after releasing her with one arm. She hoped that, since the last time she saw her she had been in a better mood in that Aria’s house, or something, that everything had worked itself out.
Pushing her large sunglasses onto the top of her head she instead hugged Pasha’s arm to her chest and decided she could remain an appendage of the Sigel until she had to let go. Lucia leaned her head on the soft shirt material briefly, before lifting her head back up and looking at Meli suspiciously. ”Where are you living? Do you need to stay with me at all? Or has Aki chilled out about leaving?” The series of questions hopefully wouldn’t catch Pasha off guard.

((BBQ Stand -> Popsicle Booth (Iorek is there and the kids are closing in) Semi-tag for Platy ))
Tyson stood to the side as he listened to Aphi chat with his older sister. His hands were shoved in his pockets as he swayed from side to side to clearly show that the young lad was bored of the idle conversation. The sparkle died as fast as it had fallen over them and now he was left standing in the dull afterglow. Maybe it had been the months away from the man that caused it but something just seemed different and strange. He felt awkward for the moment earlier and now even more so as he stared at the ground.
So Alex and Aph were dating? Interesting...and she managed to squeeze into Delaran house that easily. Something so small it almost went unnoticed ached in the boy at this news but he easily shook it away by concentrating on other things. There was too much to do today to think about such trivial things. He was looking for some good old fun and rabble rousing and if there was none to had by the end of this event Tyson would surely be disappointed.
Lillian's face never loosened from the sour expression even when Aphi left them to tend to his girlfriend. "b*****d...." She hissed, her emotions coiling around the food crap and the Isi prod. Honestly that man...he was a goof and she enjoyed him, but he still managed to punch her buttons.
"Alright boys, let's do something fun shall we?" The woman finally decided with a clap of her hands. Aphi had his hands full now with his girlfriend so they weren't about to run after him. Besides, they needed to meet more people and expand their connections. It was a logical move forward for them and she wasn't going to let this day go to waste.
She peered around the area with narrowed and determined eyes while attempting to figure out the layout of the place. "Okay...let's find out where the games are then. They always have something silly to do during these things."
Iorek eagerly clasped one mighty hand on Lillian's shoulder and twisted her around to face where the popsicle booth sat. He had been scanning the area while they chatted with Aphi and immediately zoned in on the frozen delights stop. A sign that read 'SIGN-UP HERE!' sat there, waggling in the breeze just teasing him. "That's the spot." Sure it might not be the sign-up sheet for the games but there was a worker behind the booth he could question if he was wrong.
Iorek was anxious and nervous, the thought of meeting others made weird bubbly sensations move about his small chest cavity. He'd just have to be careful, that was all. If he didn't use most of his strength and was careful with his arms there would be no problems. After all, Reks couldn't let his worries and fears fuel a hermit lifestyle for now was the time to meet others!
Before the kids could start moving towards the booth Iorek was already drifting over to it at Mach Five speed. Yet when he got there the gargoyle was stopped by a group of people either asking questions for just bumbling around the stand. With a sigh Iorek came to float behind an older professional looking man. Just when he thought he would be able to wiggle in and sign his name for a few of the games the bloke lifted his head and asked a question. So far it looked like he'd just have to lurk in the line, and not let his excitement boil over his calm exterior.
"Um...excuse me?" He spoke politely behind Ethan. He just needed to sign up so if the man was busy asking a question all he had to do was squeeze past.
'Squeeze' maybe that would be too difficult. He'd probably bump the man and make him angry, oddly enough the back of him looked daunting so Reks was afraid to know what lied in the front. "Erm..n-nevermind."

((Drinks Booth)) Melisande giggled at the kiss on the cheek from Lucia, and tilted her forehead to rest for a moment against the Frei's as she smiled. Moving the sunglasses was a good idea, so she followed the kittens lead and slipped off her own wide shades...hooking them down into the V of her opened dress shirt. "I'm feeling...more settled!" There was still something reserved in the muse's voice, but it had been that way for a while now. She spoke softly as well, just for Lucia. "I'm staying with Anderson, the nice man you met at...Aria's...house?" She said the name with some hesitation, but kept her smile. "And on nights I sing at the Plaza Cafe', since I'm there so late, I still stay with Vi."She pointedly didn't mention anything about Aki. She was pretty sure the woman didn't know the meaning of the word 'chill.' Changing the subject smoothly, she twined her arm gently with Lucia's and squinted at the Frei. "How about you? You must be feeling better, you came here, today!" Melisande's eyes flicked up towards the bright sky again, and she blinked several times. They were both fair skinned. Either they needed an umbrella, or... With a happy noise, Melisande came up with an idea. Carefully, slowly, she stretched out one of her delicate wings...angling it to take the brunt of the sun. It wouldn't have been easy to do as a youth, but all the practice she'd had holding them in the upright cupid's pose for valentines, and modeling with Alain, made it much easier. Also, she realized absently, it looked cute, as though she were sheltering the kitten Frei. Any shade was better than none!

[[Popsicle Stand]]
“You can’t eat. And there are both Frei’s and Sigel’s? You Raevan folk just get more and more complicated by the second.” Glancing around at her words, Lette compared what Zul had been saying to what she was seeing. There were al manner of Raevans that were like Zul, with barely any torso, and then those like Rivener with more to them. Many Raevan’s were in fact surrounding the booth at which they had just arrived, of all different colors and appearance – no two looking anything like another.
Looking further into the masses Lette noticed that there didn’t seem to be any baby Raevan’s, or even any full grown. How they reproduced, grew, and interacted was something baffling to her mind – she was just a mechanic after all, not some biological anthropologist or scientist. Questions about these sorts of things would have to wait until later or something, she had already asked enough questions as is.
Returning her attention back to her bronzed escort, she watched as the male withdrew a single ice cube from the bucket containing the popsicles. Cupping it in his hands he made a fist, holding it for a couple seconds before he released his hold on the icy article, revealing it’s disappearance without a single trace to its whereabouts. We all feed differently.
“Wait. Are you honestly telling me that you just fed? How in the…all you did was put an ice cube in your hand and squeeze! Uhh,” rubbing her temples Lette tried to process this new development. “Okay. So your skin absorbs ice cubes and that’s how you feed. I can handle that. Yeah. It’s cool. Just…something more to try and process today. Guess we might as well sign up for those games, eh?” Looking towards the man behind the counter she had noticed earlier Lette raised her eyebrow at him, wondering what his tie to the Raevan community was.
