He let his feet slowly drift up from the ground. He let out a light chuckle, this time it was not as gentle, but there was a hint of insanity. "You need not worry, your armor should be done within a few days. If we work hard, we might be able to finish it before the sun sets." he reassured her floating higher and higher into the air.
"Farewell for now" he said as he shot towards the air, his exhilarated laughter echoing through the air for a moment until he disappeared from sight
He hears the sound of what to him is a woman laughing and he jerks from his sleep "Ah? What? I'm not dreaming that??" he looked around, bewildered and lost. He stood up and quickly reached for the dark undersuit that was hastily casted aside the previous night. He slid it half way on, just enough to cover the essentials, and he walked out yawning and stretching out his arms, looking for Koyuki, finding her just standing in the middle of the opening. "Watcha doin?" he asked with a perplexed look

Taken back by the shift in his tone, she watched quietly as he vanished off into the sky as quick as he came. Something settled uneasily in the pit of her stomach as she turned slightly and placed a stabilizing paw against the tree; grasping above her heart with the other.
Its going to be alright....but why do I feel I just sold my soul to the devil himself... She thought, closing her eyes for a moment in time as she didn't hear Jerome at first; but when she looked back to the tent she visibly jumped at the sight of him.
"J-jerome! Did you just wake up?" She asked, leaning down to pick up the vegetables she had picked before the appearance of the dark knight himself.

"Hey honey.. What's going on? Why do you look like you've seen a ghost?" he asked trying to figure out what she was looking up for. He looked down as she started to pick up vegetables...immediately he felt like she was hiding something?
"What's wrong? Did..something happen? And what was that voice??" he looked up again still hearing faint echoes

"Close enough..." Koyuki muttered, but realize how incredibly rude that must have sounded and looked up in a flustered manner since she was not used to speaking in such a way at all. "I'm sorry darling....I'm a little shaken, still. It looks like i'll be able to join you sooner than we thought." She casted her gaze skywards for a moment but could see no traces of the dark presence.
Gathering them up, she returned to his side and placed a paw on his arm; enjoying for a moment the feel of his fur rather than his armor. "Its done, though....I just hope its going to be as well as he says it will be...." She trailed off, still feeling uncertainty at putting herself at such a contract since she had never been in anything like it prior to now.

At first he didn't understand what she was talking about, but as the gears began to click in and the things she was talking about, he soon realized and his eyes widened. "He was here!? And...you did..." he turned white himself as he realized everything.
"What happened!?...Tell me everything" he said half panicked now, more concerned for his mate than anything else

Leaving his side for just a moment she set the collected vegetables onto a nearby stump and returned, nodding her head gently. "He was...he came out of no where, and yes; I paid for the armor with my soul, like you had predicted." Her gaze faulted slightly, but in turn she took his paws in her own as she stood infront of him.
"He told me the armor would become whatever I needed it to be, that it would be the one to...control my soul; I believe. That it wouldn't effect you or our children; I was very sure about that...so whatever happens it will be my consequences and not on either of you three. He mentioned I would feel rather inclined to be obedient to him and his master...which has me concerned; but its that or i'll be stuck at home. I really...want to be with you." She explained, looking up at him and giving a sheepish smile, tightening her grip on his paws as she was a little afraid. "He said it could be done tonight, or a day or two from now. "

He was beyond speechless at this point, he could only stare at her with worried eyes. He didn't like to much of the fact that she had basically sold her soul to a fiendish knight that he virtually knew nothing about. Especially this master thing. He didn't like the sound of that.
"What if Cynder tries to hurt you with his control? Armor won't do you any good then?" he had to back off with questions. He was the one who brought it up in the first place and he was sure that the knight wouldn't need her anyway.
"Well....as long as you are happy with your decision, then I am too." he brought her in for a quick hug before letting go and trying to remain optimistic. "So what's the plan for today?"

Looking down it was a thought that definitely had crossed her mind, and as she was brought in for that hug she felt the tension in her body melt as she quickly wrapped her arms around his waist. "It wont....but as long as i'm not turned on you or the kids, I will be okay no matter what happens." Oh, how it would kill her to be used in such a way; but she was determined she would fight it till she was killed...never to give in to something like that.
Pulling back, she glanced up to her mate and gave him a reassured smile. "I'm not sure, i've pretty much gotten what I wanted to do for a while now out of the way; perhaps it would be wise to check up on the children while you're back?" If they could find them, unless Jerome had other plans of his own.

He could only give her more of a concerned look. He didn't want to tell her that it would hurt him more than anything to loose her, but the armor would at least make her safe from a stupid accident rather than one that was meant to protect he own family....it was a win loose situation regardless of how it was thought of.
"I don't know...I mean, Nariko might not be hard to find, but Bryyo? I don't know" he shrugged still a bit shaken by something he missed because he was tired

"Mmm...I do see your point." The vixen let out a soft sigh, why were her kids so difficult? Then again, she supposed it was better than those who refused to leave home. "Nariko would I almost bet training in her grounds...I can only imagine Bryyo being at the shop; or wherever our son likes to go." A small chuckle rose from her lips as she looked up to Jerome, drawing close to him again and leaning comfortably.
"I suppose it would be wise to pack up least we're staying longer?" Not that she would mind, it sure beat staying in the house. "When did you have to go back again?"

"You'd know them better than I would" he smiled and ran his fingers through his hair, the first attempt of the day to straighten it out. "Shoot I'm afraid I wouldn't even recognize them now" he admitted honestly. He couldn't forget how they looked, but that was months ago.
"Well that's really up to you. I don't have to head into the deep forest for a day or two, so what you want to do till then, well...I follow" he said with a cheesy grin as he was pulled in. "You're not going for round two are you?" he winked jokingly.

"Really? They're quite strapping young adults, Jerome. I see so much of you in them..." She smiled to herself, thankful for the fact she could look to them and see her beloved. "We did well.." She winked, before letting out a laugh at his comment. "Not now...but maybe later, so lets leave this for now and come back to it hmmm?" Koyuki winked and pulled back from Jerome, looking back down the path they came.
"Then it would probably be a good idea to track them down, at least let them know we'll both be gone. I know Nariko will be worried and I'm sure Bryyo will be confused when he comes by and I'm not around." Koyuki nodded in a wide motherly manner, definitely wanting to see them before she went. "Shall we take the long way or...the fast way?"

"Hah...spoil sport. But I guess I can't complain too much" he smirked as she pulled back from him.
"Well we could try to find them...I mean..unless you can find something else to do." he said. He wasn't trying to avoid his kids, but he was sure they were busy and wouldn't care to see them...that is..they didn't when they were just adults. Who knows what they were like now. "Well if you want to, then lets take the....er..." he couldn't decide on which way he would want to take, but he did decide that now was a good time to slip his arms through the limp coverings and full zip up the elegantly designed black suit.

"Oh, now look who's the spoil sport?" She shot back with a little grin, reaching up and zipping down the zipper till it was mid torso with a nod of satisfaction.
"Well, we'll get no where standing here and not at least trying. We'll check Nariko's grounds, and the shop and if we don't find them I guess we get ready for the trip then?" Koyuki decided, looking down the trail she knew would separate from the way they came and the way which was longer; but much more scenic. "Well, if you're up for a run, we can go the fast way? Otherwise if we're walking we might as well enjoy it and take the slightly longer route. However....if we're fast in our travels....the faster we'll end up back here......" Walking past her mate, she allowed her tail to brush up against his legs; stopping just short of the tree line and the path ahead as she glanced over her shoulder to see what he'd decided.

"Hey now. We don't want the kids getting sick from thinking their parents still get their groove on" he chuckled as he reached back and zipped it all the way up again.
"Bah..run..so overrated, but if you insist, then might as well get my legs all stretched out right?" he smirked as he got down on his four sturdy legs, walking up next to her, offering his strong back as a seat.
