"I don't know if you've met him or not. He's another Cybertronian. Much nicer than Blitz, but still a big guy." he said as he walked down the hall and took a left.
"We just need to get some body armor and then my stuff that I packed and we can be on our way. And we should have time to train...hopefully" he said as he took a left and walked halfway down the hall and stopped in the room, picking up a backpack full of stuff, his shotgun and another strap, quickly handing the extra one to her, and his utility belt. Still lugging everything, he traversed down the hall a bit, walked into that room and grabbed some spare body armor, throwing it at her. "You don't have to put it on right now, but once we get stuff on our pack mule, then you can." he nodded and started to backtrack to the entrance, not before stopping and cautioning her.
"Something you should know. This one doesn't travel alone. He has a little little guy that follows him everywhere....and he's...super hyper..just a warning." he said with a hesitant smile

".....More robots?" The vixen's face faltered, even if he was nicer it still wouldn't calm her much to know he could potentially step on and kill her all too easily. Although, still thankful it was not Shadow....she couldn't see him being a mule anyways. "....They know we're not autobots, right? Or are they Autobots?" Oi vey, her head already hurt.
"Alrighty!" Beaming once more she followed happily, quietly putting the strap on as she slung the weapon over her head and adjusted it comfortably. Following to the next room she held onto the armor with a nod, deciding to wait to spare her back any unnecessary pain before the trip even began.
Finally heading out of the PD, she was ready to get on the road as her excitement was bubbling; but seemed taken back when he stopped. "Hyper....?" Kay blinked. ".....Like....Hoshi Hyper?" Oh joy. Now she wished she'd brought some advil.

He shook his head. "Barricade is pretty mellow. Only thing we would have to watch out for would be him to stop and read the paper." he chuckled. "He's a Decepticon, presumably evil, but like I said, nothing to worry about. He could care less about what we are" he said with another chuckled, stepping out the front doors and holding one open.
"See for yourself" he said as he pointed to the small kit that did endless figure eights between the much larger Barricade's legs. Banes tossed the boxes at the much larger black armored fox, how caught them and secured the things with everything else he had on his back. Saying nothing, the black fox turned and started walking, with the little kit racing between his legs, now trying not to get stepped on.
"Yeah..does that answer your question?" he asked Kay as he too started to walk behind the large fox

"The paper?" Confused more than ever, she followed along and stopped once out the doors and faced with the large fellow. All she could do was keep her mouth shut as he was loaded up with the extra cargo and immediately went on his way....followed by the very hyperactive mini'robot.
Quickly zipping to Bane's side as she kept close and fell into pace, she nodded as she realized how right he was; even Hoshi had his mellow moments but this one....she was sure could have been on speed.
"Is he what the energizer bunny was modeled from?" She whispered quietly to her companion, watching the little think scurry without missing a beat. She would have believed it to be true, anyways. It was strange to be on their way, well, at least for her; hikes was something she was used to back when she was a human but her company this time was something she could have laughed at. Never in a million years, but here she was. "Any fun landmarks to indicate how far we have left?" She asked, often enjoying knowing points as she usually did on roads trips.

"He has this strange thing for reading the newspaper...usually the comics. I don't know why" he shrugged as he almost got dizzy from watching the little white robot play chicken.
"I have no idea. All I know is that his name is Frenzy. Name alone should be a red flagged" he whispered back, even though he knew both of the robots could hear them, but could care less about their existence.
"Fun landmarks?....uuuhhh...theres the forest.....more forest...cliffs...mountain...more mountain...beach" he couldn't explain it any plainer than that. The path they took was really meant for quickness, and he hadn't found anything exciting to look at other than what he mentioned.

"Well...I read Garfield too..." Kay shrugged her shoulders, at least understanding that much; although it seemed odd they would have a sense of humor for being rather...quiet and moody as some seemed to be. "Must be funny or something."
"Frenzy huh, well that does make sense." Walking along, she did look around for anything she could pick out to make her own sense of landmarks; yet who knew when she'd get a chance to come back along this path after the week was over. "You must not have been looking hard enough. At least without the purpose of finding them."
"Do you often have to go on these things alone? Or does that Rod fellow come with you?" She asked, from what she heard it did sound quite lonely; not to mention kinda scary being out there all alone with things like these guys and so much more. Then again, she wasn't exactly trained not to be a shivering scared mess.

"I guess...although they don't peg me as moody...just..well...if they aren't pissed off, then they are pretty mellow. At least the ones I've met have been....minus that wackball" he said motioning his head to Frenzy.
"No...I don't look. I usually have my ipod in, so I just walk until I see the beach." he chuckled nervously as he rubbed the back of his head with a paw. He adjusted the belt on his waist as he and many other officers were fond of doing.
"Alone? Well..yeah. Rod usually stays here. It's the AI who tells us what to do as..it suddenly thinks it's responsible for overseeing the place" he shrugged as he picked up the pace to his normal speed. Were they to continue at a brisk walk, they would easily make it to the beach within an hour or so

"I see....well that's good none the less." Last thing she figured she wanted to see was a giant pissed off robot. It was enough that they were real to begin with, but now living amongst them had brought many surprises. Perking as he mentioned his Ipod, she couldn't help but smile brightly as she motioned to her pack. "Its rare I don't bring it everywhere with me, ever. I'd probably be a nutjob without it!" It was true, even now she had it stowed safely in the confines of her ruck sack, it was funny how a little device was so dear.
"Isn't it scary out there alone?" She asked quite seriously, especially with this new found investigation....what if there was something psycho out there? Not missing a beat she adjusted her speed, thankful she still had her long legs as it made the stride easy as pie.

Nodding his head he reached in his shorts pocket and pulled out his ipod. "the batteries are dead...I just carry it with me because...you never know" he said chuckling lightly. He looked back forward and brought his paws back behind his head, and rested it against the furry fingers. As awkward as it looked, it was actually quite comfortable.
"Scary? Nonesense. Police Academy was scary. This is a breeze" he said with a smirk on his muzzle. He could have been that bad a** person who was cold and could do kick a** moves....but he enjoyed being lazy and kind hearted far to much

"Its dead?" Kay blinked, not remembering the last time she had a dead Ipod. Luckily she was able to charge it at work most of the time, since it was where she used it most anyways. Slipping her paws into her pockets as she walked, her eyes couldn't seem to stay in one place. "That sure makes it useful..." She grinned, shaking her head.
"Yeah...well....way to be a show off tough guy!" She laughed and did a lame nudge to his side, flicking her tail to the side. She would have begged to differ though, at least from her experience as she adjusted the sack on her back and then moved the shotgun to put less stress on her shoulder.

"Yeah I know...unlucky me didn't get a chance to grab the charger before I came here" he said smirking a bit more. It didn't truly matter to him. It had so few songs that it was like having a few hundred songs that he could care less about. His interest in music was always changing and thus it was difficult for him to listen to anything.
"Hey now...I was a tough guy" he joked around as he went with the nudge, almost tripping on a rock, but quickly catching his balance. "That's why I had to quit...always hurting myself" he smirked nervously, trying to keep his eye on the slow moving fox ahead. Barricade either had to pick it up, or get passed...neither would please the robot

"Oh? I have two! Remind me when we get back and i'll give you one." Kay offered with a smile, following his gaze to the pair ahead to take not that indeed they were keeping their pace slow. Taking the hint she slowed her's as well, let alone bumping into the tall one or tripping over Frenzy in his looping track.
"You still are, having this much on your plate when you don't technically have to." She smiled with a nod of her head. "But I hear yah, i'm the same way!" She grinned ruefully, rolling her tee shirt up to show the long scar on her shoulder blade which the fur wouldn't even grow. "Got this working at the local wood mill! Damnest the fur wouldn't cover it up but ah well."

"That'd be cool. Lord knows I have to update all those songs" he mused lightly. He looked back ahead and reached out to tap the black fox's tail, who seemed to understand he was slowing down. Booting Frenzy out of the way, he picked up the pace to something that would keep the following foxes a good fast pace walk. "Now that's more like it" Banes chuckled as he was now power walking.
"Tough girl eh? Well it's good on you" he remarked adjusting the backpack sling a little.
Sure enough the had soon arrived to the mountains and the once grass lined path faded into one lined with smooth rocks. "Well..up we go!" he commented as he walked up the seemingly never ending hill.

"I'm sure you do....I'd almost be afraid to see what's on there." The vixen laughed, a smile beaming ear to ear while looking ahead to see Banes picking up the pace once he motioned Barricade to do so as well. Quickening her own strides she soon fell into place with his own; thankfully for her long legs she knew she'd be able to keep this pace at least.
Tilting her head though as she glanced to her companion from the corner of her eyes, she almost had the desire to ask 'really?' yet kept it back. She'd never heard something like that before come from a guy...but with a small smile tugging at her lips she looked ahead and walked on.
Arriving at the hill, it wouldn't have been such a big deal normally but she wasn't used to hauling around a ruck sack either. "Mmmm, wonderful." Sticking out her tongue in jest more to herself, she too began the uphill climb and adjusted her speed back to make sure she didn't tire out before reaching the summit of the trail. Falling a few paces behind the small group in the walk, it didn't bother her too much so long they remained close enough that a quick sprint would bring her back; opting to hum to herself softly from the devoid of music she usually had.

"It's not that bad. It levels out more towards the top of the pass" he said looking back seeing she was already falling behind a bit. It was no worry. The Cybertronian fox knew where he was going, and would wait for them without any trouble if he were to make it to the cabin first.
He slowed down to keep up with the vixen. Even though there was nothing in the mountains that would hurt them, it was still on hell of a roll back down. " I hope we can find what's doing all of this. I've heard last night that there were more attacks...no known bodies...yet" he said trying to make light conversation, maybe not picking the best topic to do so, but at least he was trying
