"Good," Leverne said, "Fly that way. Go fast."
The fae squirmed a bit on the dragon's back, drawing his sword.
"I have no idea if I can take him down," he said grimly, "Drop in fast and I'll fall off your back, Astalder. I can fly some. Perhaps if I can close distance on our traitor I can stand a chance... not much, but I knew that when I pursued him..."
He took a deep breath and unhooked the chain that lay around his neck, a length of silver with a silver rose at the point. He handed this to Blade.
"Don't try and help me any further. I'll not see you harmed if it goes ill. Just... get that back to my people. They'll know what it means."

Taking the silver chain, Blade glanced from the necklace to the Fae. This guy was ready and willing to give his life up to take down his quarry, even if it seemed the chances were slim. That made both him and Astalder think on what exactly was done in the first place to make the fae feel so strongly about that. The thought certainly did not rest too well with either of them.
"Alright... Good luck."
Looking back at his riders with a grim expression, Astalder slowly nodded, "Hang on tight you two."
Once the warning had been given, he tucked in his wings and sped down towards the earth at a fairly steep angle. It was too bad his ability to go on about unnoticed didn't help all too much in broad daylight in the sky, but maybe they'd be able to surprise the traitor anyway. Coming close to the ground, and now spotting a fae on a steed of sorts, his wings shot out to begin pulling out of the dive.

Ruscar nodded his head and darted off after Kocerou. He traveled in silence, as if that would stave off the other Fae. The Reborn knew the silence to be futile, the running to be futile, but he humored the Fae prince.
Rus' sped up worriedly, slipping in front of the steed and scoping out the area for the opposing Fae. There were none immediately in front, but Ruscar still harbored a terribly bad feeling. He whirled his head around to check on Kocerou. However in the process he noticed something wrong in the sky.
"Princeling! Above you! They are approaching from behind," came Ruscar's desperate snarl. The Reborn whirled and started back to help defend the targeted prince.

At Ruscar's cry, Kocerou turned his steed in time to see Leverne drop off Alstalder's back. His horse tossed it's head and the Prince drew his sword, gesturing for his small group to get back.
"Leverne! Of course they would send their champion to hound me!"
And Leverne's eyes just hardened as he slipped through the branches, apparently controlling his fall and evading the branches of the trees that tried to form a barrier between him and the Prince. Kocerou's face was pale from strain and he managed to get his sword up in time to parry Leverne's first blow. Then the champion fae was on the ground, close to the horse, while Kocerou was trying to pull it back and give himself room to fight.
"Kill him!" Kocerou cried, "And quickly!"
-----------------------------
The leader of the three fae snapped his head up, staring off into the north. He ran for his horse, apparently no longer caring about Target or Bullseye. The other fae looked startled and hesitated as his captain mounted.
"Leave him!" the captain called, "It can't be helped. Far more will die if we don't assist our champion. Now hurry!"
The other fae nodded and went to grab his own mount, leaving the wounded fae laying there in the dirt. The captain stared at the dragons hard for a moment, his face furious, clearly blaming them for his predicament where he was forced to leave a wounded companion behind.

Back above the tree tops, Astalder and Blade looked down to see what was happening now. The traitor had a few people on his side it seemed. Circling over the group, there was a bit of hesitation. As outnumbered as the guy was, his chances were really not all that good now. Hearing the order to kill Leverne, the two decided to leave a parting gift of sorts to perhaps allow the Fae Knight a little bit of an opening.
Tapping into the bound, the human thief focused before attempting to hurl down a fireball towards Kocerou's allies. Maybe that'll distract them from attacking Leverne, if even for a moment.

After the stare Target rolled on his feet, screeching a yell, as he took off towards the direction where both him and Bullseye left the prince, he dislike leaving his brother's side but the female fay seemed neutral if any luck she will heal mainly her brother rather than Bullseye first if she would at all. What he just read in the Lead Fae's tone and his words made him think only the same thing. Mainly the fact that bothered him is that these group of Fea were against each other, the prince and his pursuers. What happen to the brotherhood that would cause a quarrel of something to this extent, which he still wanted answers for. The only way Target saw he was going to get them is being in the middle of both directions.
Bullseye watch them carefully and then saw his brother take off. "Just hope he knows what he's doing."

The small group of dragons landed within the claw-scratched ring of dirt that had not been long from its previous use. The clan leader had not shifted far from the original point he had held with the visit from the White Rose knights. Apparently it didn't seem to make any difference who the knights were as he still didn't move from his place and Tumlar walked forward, hurrying the squires to bridge the distance.
What the clan leader had for them was a mystery at best, very dangerous news at worst. On could only hope that they fae would simply keep to themselves and their world, but hope was not a giant magical fae lock and key.
Tumlar turned toward the two squires. 'This fugitive or the Silver Rose hunters must be found, if at least to know where the storm might be heading. You two will do low flight runs in attempts to locate any of them. If any are spotted, take high altitude and send word to me but do not engage. That is an order."

"Yes ser!"Once the orders were given, Warden angled his wings and headed down towards the tree line to scan for any signs of these Fae. inquired Jace as he kept an eye out for the beings in question. The stories of what the Fae were capable of were a bit of a bother, so he knew they would need to be vigilant regardless if they seem to be hostile or not. For some time there was nothing out of the ordinary as far as the two could see. Eventually though, the sight of something moving swiftly through the woods caught their attention. Warden picked up speed and went on to investigate what it was. From their current position, it was hard to tell what they were. For all he knew, it could be some deer.

Cho watched the fae and dragon leave. Wondering what is going on. She pushed it aside remembering there was hurt. She walked closer to the remaining dragon and fae. She tucked the violin under her chin and started playing a soft but upbeat tune. She sung words in the fae language of healing and the story to be. How three fae were up against two dragons and there fight for what they thought right. This be the story to be told. Has she continued the music seem to come alive around the wounds of the fae first and then the dragons, closing and and sealing the wounds then numbing the pain away. The magic stops but the music continues as Cho sits down.
Aphrodite was more and more curious about this fae ever minute.

The horse shrieked - an unnatural sound - and lunged forwards to get away from the flame. Leverne held his sword low and let the horse's momentum do the work for him, the sword blade slicing cleanly through the tendons on its legs. The horse went over, still screaming, and Kocerou was not able to kick free in time. The bulk of the animal landed and pinned him to the ground. The sword went bouncing from his hand.
-----------------
The wounded fae stirred at Cho's magic, her eyes fluttering briefly and then finally opening to stare at the forest above her. She raised one hand to her head, feeling where she had been struck, and then turned her gaze to the dragon and the Bound.
"Thank you," she said softly, "I appreciate your aid... I do. So forgive me this next question - but to whom are you loyal?"

Ruscar reeled back to dodge the flame. It exploded down in front of him, setting the forest ablaze. The Reborn cursed, and was forced to backtrack slightly to get around the fire, giving Leverne the time to slice the horse's legs. Ruscar darted around the fire, not wishing to risk flight, and nimbly leaped over Kocerou's fallen horse.
"You foolish princeling," he growled while grabbing for the Prince's dropped sword. He whirled upon grabbing it, slicing at Leverne.
"Who the hell are you and what do you want?" came Ruscar's growl, desperately trying to buy himself some time to free the prince.

The two watched as one of the Prince's followers started to try and free the guy from under his steed. Astalder didn't head away just yet as both he and his bound wondered if they should offer some more support.
----
Coming up closer towards the beings in question, Warden saw that they were indeed Fae. With a dragon-like grimace, he beat down his wings hard to ascend higher into the air to signal his commander.

Leverne easily parried Ruscar's swing, turning it aside and stepping forwards, well within Ruscar's reach so that any further swings of the blade would be awkward and difficult. He held his own sword at ready, drawn back near his hip, ready for a quick stab.
"The King's champion," Leverne said, "Stand aside. I give you this one chance."
Behind Ruscar, Kocerou swore and struggled to free himself. Already plants were slithering seemingly of their own will to smother the dragon flame.
"Leverne!" he cried, "Don't do this! The forest is dying!"
(Socks, Ruscar is now in danger of being killed or severely injured)

Ruscar stared in silence, sizing Leverne up. It was easy to see that the Reborn stood no chance. Ruscar had avoided conflict for long enough for his skills to dull. He took a step back to give himself room to bow, bringing one clawed hand across his hips, and the other--the one with sword--back. He was completely open, merely hoping the sign of respect would save him.
"I apologize. That was foolish of me, serving a traitor." Once again, he stood at his full height. His claw had unclasped the cloth around his waist, which he then threw at the Champion. He then swiftly darted backwards, dropping the sword into the prince's reach. The Reborn only paused for a moment to push as much of the horse away as he could before bouncing into flight. Only once above the trees and a target for Astalder did Ruscar check for injuries.
((Rus' fights dirty. I wonder if that would count as flashing him? Not like he has anything to show though. HMMM.))

Cho looked at her funny, "Your welcome and what do you mean to whom I am loyal? For what I can remember I have been loyal to the crown or am I mistaken to what is going on, where a fellow fae to be asking me such a question. I haven't been around for last year or so. I was coming home for some well needed rest. When everything started happening here in the forest. So....if you would like to tell me what is going on or at least your....story."
