Claris still remained close to 1337 and Hayes. As far as this mission went, he felt he was expendable, if need be. It didn't make for a very promising future mind you, but he'd make sure that the two Computer Geeks were as safe as he could possibly keep them.
Boggart shot out from the shadows and launched a disgusting Sludge Bomb off toward the perceived direction that the reinforcement officers would be coming from, making a point of not dropping it where the team of fleeing rockets would be running (As far as he knew anyway). It may not do anything right now, but sludge was thick, and slimy and well... toxic. If nothing else, some of them might slip because they're clumsy humans and get themselves in trouble.
Claris looked to 1337 and Hayes and flashed the briefest of smiles.
"Let's get you gentlemen out of here, shall we? Nikki might kill me if I let anything 'unfortunate' happen to you Hayes, or rather... Anything that she doesn't do to you herself."

Hearing that the group had emerged on the west side, caused Seth to smirk a little. Perfect. They'd be able to regroup if he played this right. The cops outside the door started to run in the direction of the west exit, leaving things wide open for them.
Tossing his pokeball out the door, a giant Steelix then emerged that loomed as high as the building itself. "Stay behind the Steelix!" Seth told Faleen before dashing out the door. It would serve to shield them for any incoming bullets.
---
On the west side, the handful of officers was met with an onslaught of Pokemon attacks. A couple of them were caught in the cloud of sleep powder and soon fell to the ground. While the rest were tossed back several feet by the Metagross' psychic attack.
When some of the reinforcements came around the corner, they were then met with the Sludge Bomb that covered a couple of them in toxic goo.
Still more officers were coming, firing their weapons... that is until some of them paused and looked in the direction they had some. The ground started to shake and the police officers began shouting frantically as they dove out of the way of an oncoming Steelix. The Pokemon whipped around the corner of the building, its tail slamming into more officers and sending them flying. Seth, running alongside the massive snake as more bullets whizzed through the air and ricocheted off of its steely hide.
"MOVE!" the elite shouted. Although whether he was just telling them to get out of there, or get out of the way of the Steelix, or both, was unclear.
Amongst the chaos, William had managed to release his Charizard. Although much to his frustration, all the fire dragon did was roar and shoot flames into the air. However, when he saw the Steelix coming, Azrael beat a retreat and flew into the air. "... Hey wait!" Will called after his dragon, before groaning in irritation. He then turned around and started to run once again.

"The hell-" Hayes started as Keira shot past, not waiting for the bulletproof Metagross that would have shielded her. The grunt wore a clear 'WTF' expression for a moment, then shrugged it off. He had other responsibilities, namely what he carried on his back.
He looked at 1337 when addressed and paused to think while the hulking Steel-type received instructions. Darwin could carry one person easily, and while the punk wasn't a bulky guy, he was still close to two hundred pounds of added weight. "We'll see," he answered honestly, as the Metagross began to glow.
For the time being - and it was a very temporary time - they were relatively safe. Hayes half-turned to take stock of the group and did a quick head count. Four missing - Seth, Faleen, the humming agent and the one just now. At least one of those could take care of themselves.
"You holding up?" he asked Roar, who seemed worst off, as bullets sparked off their shield's nigh-impenetrable hide, then smiled faintly at Claris, apparently amused by the dig. "Hey, if I'm around to for her to smack, I'll count it a success," he grinned, and turned back as a landslide of metal came tearing around the side of the building and officers went flying from multiple attacks.
Sweet.
With Switch on his shoulder sparking in anticipation, Hayes waited inside the building until the Metagross had trundled forward enough to free the doorway, then darted around it and after his superior. "C'mon!"

"Fair enough."
Perhaps the computer hacker wasn't seeing things in the same exact light as Hayes, but it made sense to wait until they were fleeing to figure out if it would be necessary or not to hitch a ride. Perhaps by the time everything was said and done, the coppers would be completely demolished and there would be no need to get airborne.
In complete contrast to Hayes, 1337 did not seem to really care about the others on his team. It was just the way 1337 was. Self absorbed, a jackass to say the least, and probably focusing a bit on his own throbbing injury.
When Hayes began to lead the other teammates away from the mess with the police, 1337 gave out a command to his Metagross.
"Pokemon!" Yes, 1337 tended to call his Pokemon such careless terms. "Keep to the back of our group. We need you as a shield. Watch from behind, and if anything seems threatening, use Psychic on it."
With the trust he had in his tool, he then ran, keeping close to Hayes' side. He didn't need to babysit his Pokemon and make sure it did the right thing. The Metagross was fully capable of following direct orders. Unlike some Rockets...

Eye brows rose when she saw the massive pokemon come out of the pokeball that Seth just threw. Her lifts moving as if to make a whistle noise, but she kept completely silent, keeping her pokeball in her hand she rushed out. Not having to worry about her Umbreon was sped by next to her as she rushed to follow Seth out. She screwed up one, she didn’t intend to do It again… just follow his order from here on out… that’s not so hard.
It was hard keeping up with him and the Steelix, the gunfire was severely unnerving. But when she saw the other group, she couldn’t help but smile brightly, so relived they looked like they were okay. she didn’t have much time focus on that though, still keeping up.... or trying, it was beginning to get more difficult, especially since she was starting to get tense with nerves. so much was going on.
Umbreon kept his cool, keeping an eye out on his surroundings, as well as on his master.

He moved forward, taking up position just behind Hayes as his Boggart moved to keep up with its trainer. To Boggart, keeping his trainer safe was priority, and how could he do that if he stayed behind? He did agree with the Metagross guarding their rear, what better than a giant wall of metal to do so.
Claris recalled being smacked by Nikki in the not too distant past, and in a sense he was concerned for Hayes's mental stability if he thought getting smacked by Nikki was... Nevermind, the thought process died there as he figured death was probably far worse than a little physical discomfort.
His movements were quick but he still made sure he could guard Hayes, so getting in front of him was not the goal. He watched as Seth's ridiculously large Steelix tore along the ground and knocked the Pokeforce twits to the ground. He also took note of the Charizard flying off instead of sticking with his trainer. Such a fickle beast, like the rest of its ilk. His blood began to boil from the sight of it, but it wasn't the goal at this point, his personal vendetta against all Charizards would have to wait.

Roar looked up when he was addressed and give a weak nod as he answered, "I'll be better once we get the hell outta here." When Hayes and 1337 bolted after Seth, he was as quick to follow as he could manage, doing his best to stay close.

Keira was pleased she had managed to put some of the officers to sleep, and as Seth appeared she grinned and nodded, jumping out of the way. It was a miracle that with all that was going on she hadn't been shot, when it seemed like pretty much everyone else was getting hit.
Keira had noticed that Will seemed to be having some difficulty with his pokemon, she wondered how you could raise a pokemon and have it NOT be obedient, but to each their own. It was his problem. Not hers. Esther frowned at the charizard, she wanted to reason with it but she knew she wouldn't get a chance with all this commotion going on..
Keira was looking around, why the hell were there so many cops here!? This was insane! Yah team rocket were criminals, but just to catch a group of thieves this seemed like major overkill..

TRP was the last to scramble from the east exit, Furin and Satoshi close behind her. She paused outside as officers were sleep powdered and psychiced, watching to make sure everyone made a clean escape. She perked up a bit when she spotted Faleen, Seth and Loki coming around to join the group. She unclicked yet another Poke Ball from her belt.
"Axel!" TRP's trademark shiny charizard erupted from the ball and soared into the night sky. She ran alongside the reptile, pointing behind the group, "Flamethrower! Cut them off!"
Axel roared his understanding and swept past Seth and Faleen. He made a hard right and fired a powerful flamethrow attack in a line at the lawn outside the facility. The grass quickly caught fire, creating a wall of flames behind the escaping rockets. Though the growlithes would be able to follow, their masters and their guns would have to stay behind. TRP smirked, "Good job, buddy." She turned to beat a hasty retreat after Faleen and Seth. Another shot rang out as an officer fired through the wall of flames. TRP gasped as searing pain tore through her thigh. She tripped and landed in a heap on the grass.
"Chime?" Furin dropped down to her trainer's side, yellow eyes wide.
"Agh.. god dammit.." TRP moaned, clutching her leg.
Furin looked back as growlithes started punching through the wall of flames, bearing down on the fallen Rocket.
Furin's eyes narrowed. "Chime." The little bell Pokemon whirled around to face the oncoming fire types, little face contorted in a sneer. "ChiiiiimECHO!" A dazzling explosion of purple light shot from the tiny Pokemon, sending dog Pokemon flying.

((BP's power died, and may not come back on tonight. However, through the power of text message, here is her post.))
Yes his Charizard was disobedient, very much so. But there was no time to sit and ponder that. Will was making a break for it but as Seth's Steelix steamrollered by he wasn't able to fully get out of the way and was knocked aside and sent tumbling. However he was not seriously hurt and managed to get up and keep running.
Seeing TRP's Charizard zip by, Seth managed to see everything that happened out of the corner of his eye. "TERRA!" he shouted as she went down. Immediately Seth turned around and ran back to his fallen comrade. Somehow he managed to miraculously dodge bullets that were occasionally fired through the flames. "Hold on," he told her as he scooped TRP up into his arms.

A few things caught her off, the fire, for one, pokemon swooping overhead, rumbling around on the ground, so much noise, so much gunfire and yelling. Granted it didn’t bother her, it was something new to her, yes, but she just kept her mind on what she was supposed to be doing. That was, until Seth suddenly yelled out someone’s name, turned, and was running BACK the way they just came. Now –this- surprised her greatly, and for a moment her step faltered and she nearly tripped, torn between the speed of running and stopping because of some emergency. Emergency it was, when a glimpsed revealed the other Elite on the ground, fallen and injured. Seth seemed to be handling it though… with quite a bit of… heroism. She hesitated on what to do. Follow his lead of get the hell out of there, for one thing, with bullets zipping around she couldn’t just stand there, and Seth would be making his way back very soon with as fast as he was moving. Lengthening her stride a couple of times until she got her balance back again, she continued.
More pings of bullets ricocheting off steel, sparking around her, after one particularly close one she felt a sudden intense sting in her lower abdomen, by her side. At first she thought it was a cramp, the most painful one she had felt in her life, reaching up to clutch at it, she blinked when she felt something wet. Looking down to see her dark glove covered in gleaming red liquid. Upon noticing this, her body seemed to kick in the pain receptors. And white hot waves of pain burned at her body. One of her knees crumpled underneath her, hitting the ground hard in mid sprint. With a strangled cry she clamping a hand back over her side, then clenched her jaw tight, forcing herself back to her feet.
Umbreon’s ears perked, looking around sharply when he heard the cry of his master. He could smell blood, more blood. It didn’t take him long to know there was something wrong, just by the way she was moving. It wasn’t fast enough! Yipping in alarm Umbreon abandoned the patrol for attacking pokemon, darting over to grab her by her sleeve, trying to hurry her along.

Hayes didn't turn around when the field ignited; when a wall of fire roars to life behind you, you don't stop to look, you run faster. The Pokeball he'd been holding in reserve he triggered now, releasing a Pidgeot that appeared with crest up and wings outspread in a clear challenge to the Growlithe bounding through the flames. "'dgeooooot!"
"Dar! We're getting out of here!" the Rocket barked, sprinting towards the giant bird. The bird pulled his head back with an affronted look. Excuse me? What? You call me out in the face of the enemy and I don't get to battle?
"Darwin!"
The Pidgeot grudgingly folded his wings in and crouched to allow a rider. Hayes slowed to a jog, then a halt before the bird. "Thanks," he said breathlessly and made to get on, but the sight of his superior going the opposite way to pull a completely uncharacteristic white knight maneuver made him pause.
For the second time that night, a baffled look passed over Hayes' face; he glanced at 1337. "I guess I owe you a soda," he commented.
"Hngh--!"
Luck can only last so long. Switch bolted as the blond jerked backward and stumbled from the force of a bullet squarely meeting his shoulder. Behind him his Pidgeot screamed and dropped as a second shot pierced his wing.

Rage filled him when he heard the Pidgeot's scream and Hayes grunt of pain, and then, somehow through all the commotion, the sound of someone else he knew getting shot reached him; His ice blue eyes shifted and stared blankly at Faleen as she crumpled and her Umbreon moved to her. His Gengar would be useless to help her, and he couldn't leave Hayes either, indecision tore him for a moment and he took another Pokeball from his belt and called out Azra, returning Boggart in roughly the same motion.
Azra appeared with a howl as normal, and his gaze shifted quickly across the field as he blinked, assessing the situation. Claris's voice rang out and took hold of his Pokemons attention however and he responded immediately.
"Azra! Go help Faleen and her Umbreon, NOW!"
The Absol bolted full tilt toward the fallen female rocket, skidding to a stop beside her as he cast a glance to the Umbreon he had battled alongside before assisting it with the downed trainer.
Claris turned to Hayes, anger in his eyes but the emotion was not directed at the rocket.
"Hayes, we're going to have to keep running, recall Darwin, he'll be of little use with one wing."

If there was one thing that the Metagross could not handle, it was fire. The moment things went up in a blaze, the steel type seemed to start retreating in an effort of self preservation. This was about all it really could do, while still remaining towards the back.
1337 was not paying much attention to the Pokemon itself. He was paying more attention on where he was going. The fire itself didn't go unnoticed, but gawking wasn't going to get him anywhere. He noted that his most reliable teammate was preparing to flee. On a giant bird.
"So... take it I can't hitch a ride, eh?" The visored man paused only for a moment near the bird, calling over to Hayes in an almost casual manner. He caught the comment about the soda, then glanced to take a look. There was no shock or surprise in 1337's expression, but then again, there was a limit to the amount of "surprise" that he could display with his eyes covered as they were.
"KNEW IT!!!! AH, F*CK YEAH!!!!!! IN YOUR FACE, HAYES!!!!!" 1337, humble, what? Never!
It took the darker haired hacker about 3 seconds to notice the injury on his comrade, in which his first reaction was "Ho'sh*t!!!"
If 1337 had been a chick, he might have tried to comfort his comrade. He might have attempted to assist him upright again. Instead...
"F*ck, dude, are you alright?!" No hand extended out, just the dark haired figure leaning forward, gawking more at this current scenario than the train wreck that was Seth and TRP.

Shots were ringing about...screams of people getting hit were going back and fourth. Keira wanted it all to just go away, but she knew it wasn't that easy. She ran as she saw the fire blazing, which pokemon had lit it she hadn't caught. She saw the blond executive fall, only be rescued by Seth. Then someone else fell, and Keira found herself running to her.
s**t. That wound was bad...Keira knew there wasn't much time, and she was no doctor. Reaching into her bag she pulled out the best she could find, a red bandanna. Why had she packed that again? OH well it didn't matter now.
Kneeling down beside the other female rocket, she completely ignored 1337. Idiot. "Come on, we have to go. Press this against the wound, I will help you walk. But we have to move quickly." she said as she moved to try and help up the other rocket. "Genbu! Esther! Watch our backs!" she commanded the pokemon as they quickly sprung into action to make sure so other unwanted surprises showed up.
If she accepted the aid, Keira then proceeded to get her to wrap her arm around her neck and help her walk as quickly as she could out of there. Keira was not strong enough to carry her, so this was the best she could do for now. She desperately looked around for someone with a pokemon large enough to get this girl out of here quickly.
