Maria looks up at who was talking and smiles "hi im Maria and i think this is called a sandwich" she took a quick drink "Namid made it."

Imogen nodded at Namid's question. Then hearing the introduction of Maria she gave her own name. "I'm Imogen."

Namid smiled. "Ok."
She pulled out the sandwich and held it out, watching Imogen.
"I'm Namid, as she said."

Imogen heard the rustling of packaging surrounding the sandwich. She didn't seem to take notice that she heard the introduction as she reached for the sandwich.
These moments always reminded her bitterly of her handicap. Her hand began to float towards where she thought the sandwich was not quite sure if close to target. She never really gave her being blind any real thought other than these instances being able to hear movements of enemies and act accordingly. However these slight movements were hard to pin point unless it made another sound. Being very capable this alone was a reminder of her greatest weakness.

Maria nibbles on her sandwich "nice to meet you Imogen, what do you do on this ship?"

Imogen finally got a hold of the sandwich and unwrapped it. Hearing the question she kept her head still seemly to look out into oblivion.
"I'm the ship's lookout. As well a fellow fighting Air pirate."

Jak grinning, ran up on deck and shouted to Scott, "Captain, we're ready to go! The engines are purrin' and waitin' ready for launch!"

Maria watches Imogen "im new on this ship and i dont have a job just yet, do you think i'll do ok?"

(Are we ok that the blind pirate is the look out? Thought that would cause a least a question)
Imogen ate half of the sandwich then re wrapped the food and stuffed it into her vest. With her airy tone she answered the question very bluntly.
"Not with that attitude." Then with a quick swipe, Imogen smacked Maria with her cane. It wasn't a hard hit but it was fast.
"Either you'll be good or be dropped off at the next port. To give it anymore thought is a waste of time." The lookout's expression didn't change as she spoke.

(Yeah! that's the cool part)
Scott took the wheel and backed out of port. As the ship came about, Scott saw a few New Armada ships guarding the north Danel Straight.
He called over the intercom "Gunners to station, we have company" he said.

Maria jumped up when she go smacked "hey whats that for?" she frowned when she heard someone talking over the intercom "company? last time i heard that the ship i was on got shot at"

(I agree! I was looking for a reaction though)
Hearing the captain's voice over the intercom Imogen left the two without so much as a word. She didn't give the question any thought for her reason was clear.
Going back to the helm she heard the clamor to stations and the calls of preparation. Unless they would be boarding, Imogen's role in this was minimal. Getting to the wheel she held out the half of a sandwich.
"Hungry Captain?"

"Not for food, Imogen" he said with a smile, sailing toward the ships.
The Gunners got ready and the people on the control deck took positions.

Maria decided to go up on deck to see what was going on. "i hope nothing bad happens and we have to turn around" she says to herself as she walks down a hall.

"Understood," Imogen traded the sandwich for her revolver and stood by. With the captain in an excitable mode surely this would be interesting.
