Annd, no comments about my interview at all. emo

Lol. Overall, I think the drama's entertaining. Although, I'm beginning not to like about a god being stuck in the sun as a god - it's sad and it's... boooring. gonk At least, Atlas can talk while being in that similar situation, except that he's there until the end of time.

Oh, it's not like they can't talk to anyone. They are just freaking busy doing sun things all the time. Essentially, it's like being the king of the gods and the world. That, and you're always hungry. The majority of human sacrifices were collected to keep the sun sated and burning.

Hmm... no wonder there's like hundreds or thousands of skulls near those temple-like buildings. x.x;

Edit: OH GOOD. Everyone's back to normal. =D

Yeah, there's actually a funny story... Well, funny/sad story... Relating to that. Hutzilopochtli is actually pretty damn mean sometimes. This was before the Aztecs came to Tenochtitlan. They were by Culhuacan. So the Aztec priests of the sun god Huitzilpochtli came to the ruler of Culhuacan.. His name was Achitometl. Told him that his daughter was to be the new bride of Huitzilopochtli and that she would be like a living goddess. And Achitometl agreed because he was excited by the idea.

But the priests took her back to the temple and the sun god told them to sacrifice her, so they did, and flayed her, and one of the priests wore her skin. And the king comes to make offerings of quail to his daughter at the temple. It's dark, and the king puts incense into the fire, which flares up. And he sees the horrific sight of one of the priests wearing his daughter's skin as a cloak, and he pretty much screamed and ran away from the temple. Needless to say, the Aztecs were driven out and they had to keep searching for a permanent home. XD;

Additionally, when the Spaniards first went inside the temples of the Aztecs they were freaked out by the sacrificial room which was basically splattered everywhere you could look with blood and there were hundreds upon hundreds of skulls on the floor.

Yeaaah... Mesoamerican history/mythology isn't for squemish people. ^^; But I'm a dark person sometimes, so I am morbidly fascinated.

Ironically, me too (I admit). Although I usually lean more on the light-side of things. xD;

@ Mira: Yeah, generally I am. But in this case it amuses me, I think, because it makes other civilizations look sissy at times. Of course they were violent and bloody in their own ways. But I am awed by their dedication/loyalty to their religion.

@ Hermes: Lmfao, I had no trouble logging in.

...Your a sun god? What? neutral

Ares! I just finished the part on my Aztec Guild about the Flower Wars that the Aztecs always practiced to capture human sacrifices. XD I think you'd like it, it sounds pretty damn cool.

It does. When is your guild going to be finished, you think?

I'm trying for the end of this week. I've gotten everything outlined and a lot of sections completed. Ares would be the equivalent of Huitzilopochtli, actually.. Mixed with Helios.

You mean he's like the spawn that would pop out if Ares and Helios had a one night stand? THAT WOULD BE TERRIFYING. eek

...Uhm... Well, that's not physically possible. Actually, let's put it this way. If Eris had a daughter with Helios and Ares had a son with Anaplekte, and the daughter and son had a child... That would be Huitzilopochtli.
