Emily smiled at Eric. He was sweet, but not her type. The other police officer reached for the glasses and she gave them to him. "Sir, I will have to point out that what Officer Jeff has told WAS true. A few minutes ago, I watched the energy leave Eric". She turned Eric and when the others weren't looking she gave him the 'I know you know more than you're letting on' look.

Alfred looked at the girl midly annoyed. "Was? what do you mean Was. Miss I don't have time to play games" he said skepticaly not putting the glasses on yet.

Emily smirked, not going to show how ticked off she was at his almighty attitude. "If I was playing games officer, you'd all be running around like scared jackrabbits, but that's not the case. I'm being serious. The energy signature just vanished". Emily looked up and down Eric's body, thinking on how he pulled whatever he did off.

Alfred sighed. "No need to get rude." He didn't exactly know what to do now. "Well atleast its gone" he muttered.

Emily frowned. "I'm not being rude, I'm just stating the facts". She said it with such conviction, people would think she was being rude, when in fact, she wasn't trying to be. When Alfred talked again, she frowned even harder. "Sir, I would be worried about this, not relieved. If it just suddenly left, it probably means it's not energy". She shifted her wieght to her right leg, a habit when she was thinking hard or was annoyed.

Emily's right foot was starting to get sore, but she wouldn't change the foot she was leaning on. She never stoped doing things when they got rough, she tried harder. "I don't know what it is sir, but energy doesn't just up and leave. It's not a life form, yet that's what this energ did. It just up and left. Now don't tell me that that's not troubling to you". She wanted to get to Eric without these other people around, but it just wasn't going to be possible at the moment.

Alfred nodded. "I understand..it is very...troubling to me, but we don't have much we can do about it. The glasses could have been faulty, there are a number of reasons we can't investigate this. There is no posing threat as far as I can see" he explained. He ran a hand through his hair. what was he to do?

Emily sighed. "And all the police I meet wonder why I think of them as incompetent", she mumbled just loud enough for the police officers to here her. She placed an innocent looking smile on her face. "Well officers if I could have my glasses back......". She trailed off, yanking the glasses from Alfred. She continued her sentence, "......I need to get going now. So unless you have a permit, I'll be going now". She turned around, hooking her arm in Eric's. "I need you to come with please Eric", she whispered to Eric, her face turning from sweet to fearsome in a second. She looked behind her and smiled at the officers then turned back to Eric. "If you don't come with me, I'll convince the officers that you're in league with your dad in making drugs". She didn't really know if Eric's dad made drugs or even had them in his possession. She didn't have evidence, just suspicions from the people she had questioned; though, from looking at Sam, she wouldn't doubt he took drugs. Just a gambit that a private investigator would take. Besides, she wanted to know what was going on with Eric and that strange energy.

((Oh my god, I'm really really sorry. I've been sick, so that's why I haven't gotten on this past week. ))
Eric watched the two of them bicker back and forth with much amusement. He willingly went with her when she pulled: and automatic response from learning fighting doesn't help. He jerked her arm back, his face almost turning into a sneer. "They already know what the *astard did to me," he hissed back, "You don't have to f***ing black mail me." He grumbled as he turned back to the cops. "My boyfriend's gonna get home soon, can I come back tomorrow? When stuff calms down?" He continued to walk backwards as he asked, nearing the door quicker. Silently he called for Amy, /Amy? Ams? Where are you? Can I tell this girl about you being a ghost? The cops already think she's nuts anyway./ He didn't know if she could read minds out of his head, but it was worth a try. Just outside he turned to Emily, a frown on his face. "Are you gonna calm down now?"

((Hey!! Welcome back. Sorry you were sick. I had that happen a few weeks ago myself.))
Emily looked at him calmly. "Sorry I had to, as you aptly put it, blackmail you, but it was the only way I could make sure you would come with me. I would never tell a lie about anyone, unless it uncovers truth". It wasn't the safest way to get a person to cooperate, but it was the quickest. She ignored his talking until he asked if she was calm. When he asked that she stopped and looked him in the eye. "I've been calm this entire time Eric", she said, with a quizical look in her eye.

Alfred(i forgot his name) Nodded. "Yes, you can both go home and we'll contact you if we have any questions or need your help." H esaid watching them go. He sat down in a chair and ran a hand through his hair. These people were so confusing.
Amy heard Eric but she hurt a lot. It was hard for her to answer. can you guess? she responded softly her voice thick. The autopsy was over but the pain still lingerd steadily getting to where it would go away.

Hearing the pain thick in his sister's response, Eric instinctively balled up his fist and punched Emily. She was being a smug little *itch. It was disgusting. She was clueless how much pain she'd caused Amy, but she didn't have to be ******** smug about it. However, Eric's arms were thin and weak, and he'd never actually punched anyone in his life, so he actually hurt himself more than Emily.
Trying to keep his mental voice sweet and comforting, he called to Amy, /Come back, this girl's fine. Please, maybe it'll get rid of the pain./ He was hopeful, and willing to try anything to help her.

Emily saw the rage build up inside Eric and his punch weakly hit her jaw. It stung a little, but in the long run it would help him. He needed to let his grief and rage out before she could question him and this was exactly what he needed, something to take his anger out on; even if it was her who triggered the response. "Again. Do it again". Emily stood there, waiting for him to hit her again. She wasn't going to be able to question him today, but perhaps she could comfort him; as alien as the concept was to her.

Amy felt Erics draw and followed it. She knew where he was at he hadn't made it home yet. She wanted to be with him for a little while. She felt safe when she was with him and whe she was alone it all went away. It was easier to hurt alone.
She looked around and then apeared next to Eric. She saw the girl and could feel the anger radiating off of her brother. It mixed with her own anger and suddenly without her wanting it to her anger flared. She didn't even know who she was angry at. She seemed to glow but with an odd light. It felt wrong. She clenched her fist at the girl.
