[Flandre :: SDM :: Hallways -> Basement]
"Oooooh? Okay Aneue!! I'll wait in the basement!" and with that, they parted ways, Remilia to talk to Meiling, and Flandre back into the basement. She went back to playing with her toys excitedly. "I wonder if I'll get to play with the guests...Maybe Misheru will get back soon too!" Just as she said that, a hairline crack appeared in one of the toys. "Oh no! I got too excited again..." She carefully set the toy in one f the corners of the room, and picked up a different one. "I gotta be careful..."

Sakuya watched as Meiling fumbled over her words in front of Remilia-Sama but nonetheless the flower youkai was willing to do her duties. Sakuya smiled a small sliver of a smile before taking note of Meiling's predicament.
"Ah! That's right," Sakuya froze time as she leaned down to pluck the daggers that were pining the youkai to the floor. The maid safely stashed them away before resuming time. "You should be able to get up," Sakuya replied, not even looking like she had moved an inch from the spot.

"Attack you!?" Chiyo stared at Reimu in disbelief. She wanted to be purposely attacked, that was definitely a first. But Chiyo recalled what the shrine maiden had said, how fights were different here and how almost no one really go hurt. Plus, it looked as if Reimu-San was beginning to perk up again.
The little wolf nodded, swallowing any fear she had. Chiyo had to trust her. She transformed into a wolf, she was much faster this way. But instead of rushing straight for the priestess, Chiyo ran towards one of the trees. She ran up it's trunk and bounded off once she reached a suitable height which was slightly above Reimu. The wolf while in midair transformed back to a child with a orb of ice quickly forming in her hand.

Reimu's smile widened just a little. She didn't seem at all intimidated by the orb of ice, nor did she ready any weapons of her own, but mentally she was prepared to dodge in an instant.
What Reimu was mostly doing was watching the wolf's fighting style. Notably, her first instinct had been to put distance between the two of them. A long distance fighter, I see, Reimu observed idly.

Chiyo eyed Reimu who looked highly confident in her own abilities and Chiyo was sure she was. After all, she was the high priestess and she obviously didn't get the position from doing nothing. Chiyo glanced to the orb of growing ice before she hurled it into the sky. As gravity did it's work Chiyo was rapidly descending from her jump though quickly spun into a kick at Reimu before transforming effortlessly back into a wolf and leaping a good distance away.
The orb stayed suspended in the air, swirling slowly before shattering into sharp icicles that rained down on the priestess.

Chen's eyes opened wide in shock as Kyouko held her hand out for the Nekomata youkai to put her cell phone into it and quickly closed snapped her hands shut around it before putting it back in her pocket.
"No! It's mine! And you can't use it to get a hold of Marisa because she doesn't have a cell phone! The only other ones in Gensokyo who do are Yukari-sama, Ran-sama, and Suika."

"Wait....what? It only works with other people who have them? That's LAME." Kyouko huffed. "Oh well, let's get over to the scarlet devil Mansion, and ask them about what's going on. Maybe we can find someone there who has a clue...Sakuya said I'm being stupid, but she's probably hiding something for Remilia or something! LET'S GO!" And with that, Kyouko grabbed Sukina, and hoisted the Ivy Youkai onto her back (ignoring any complaints of course), before starting moving again. "Onward!!" And with that, she started moving towards the Scarlet Devil Mansion.

Momiji's ears and tail moved with uncontrolled excitement. She was able to go on an adventure. This was going to be fun. Her attention turned to Chen explained about that strange device. She wrote down all the Neko said about it. This was info she had to get more on. But first, the quest to find the humans.
"Lets goooo!" she shouted with excitement along side Kyouko and ran off along side the demon, keeping pace with her. It was hard to keep from passing her up with all her excitement.

"Excellent!" The preparations were almost done. Remilia was almost giddy with excitement. "Right, don't forget," she added to Meiling before turning to walk back into the mansion, "you're 'very concerned' about the current situation, but too dutiful to abandon your post. We can deal with the issue of you sleeping on the job again later."
As Remilia led Sakuya through the mansion's foyer, she began to discuss the upcoming operation. "So, what do you think? Should we leave a note behind for them to find? Maybe make it look like I managed to leave behind a clue without our captor noticing? That seems like the best plan to me."

Reimu swayed from side to side as the orb swirled in place. At first she had thought Chiyo was going to throw it at her, but now it looked more like an origin point for smaller projectiles. When the orb shattered, Reimu dodged forward and to the left, gaining a bit of altitude and avoiding the cluster of icicles that stuck perilously deep into the ground behind her.
Three thoughts idly floated through Reimu's head:
First, that it was a good thing icicles melt, because it meant less mess to clean up from this fight.
Second, that leaping around in wolf form looked really fun.
The third thought, and the one she decided to articulate, was, "Mn, not bad. Can you put out more than one of those at a time?"

Chen couldn't help but laugh lightly at Kyouko's remark regarding the cell phone. However before she could really reply Kyouko had grabbed Sukina again and was off running without warning.
"Hey wait for me!"
Not wanting to be left behind the Nekomata youkai quickly took off after them on all fours. Pushing off of the ground every few strides to close the distance before she was beside them. she then turned her attention to Kyouko, though being sure to watch where she was going.
"So what makes you think the people at the Scarlet Devil Mansion know something?"

Alice paced around her house for awhile, each footstep echoing thoughout the empty home. Where would Marisa have gone? This was very odd. Who was that woman that Marisa knew? The shrine priestess. Maybe she knew where Marisa went. Alice quickly grabbed the note that Marisa left plus her magical item that she'd never let go.
Alice tossed on a black coat and ran out the door, only stopping once to make sure that the door was locked before running towards the Hakurei Shrine.

 [Hong Meiling: Scarlet Devil Mansion Gate] Meiling stood, bowing to her mistress as she led, before frowning a little deeper. She was not pleased with this new task... But she quickly pushed that aside. No, she DID have a task to do, and do it she would! She could always do some work on her acting. Of course, the tears in her clothes worked wonders. But... Making the tears a little bit bigger, she smiled at her work. Yes, now they looked more battle torn than 'Oops I got punished for not doing my job'. Now, all she had to do was wait...

Smiling, Sukina accepted her fate on Kyouko's back with nary a complaint. Then again, she was half asleep from not moving around and from being bored...
Of course, with Chen's question, this made Sukina realize something. She might actually be the most intelligent of the four of them. Was she the only one that actually didn't think the humans had been kidnapped?
...Curse her intelligence. Maybe if she sacrificed some of her common sense, she'd get strong enough to actually get away from Kyouko.
Maybe.
...Maybe...
With a sigh, Sukina decided to enjoy her 'free ride'. Might as well, what with how she was getting dragged into it.

Kyouko turned her head to look at Chen. "Well, when we saw Sakuya at the shrine, she pushed us away a little too quickly, so maybe she's hiding something. And maybe the vam-" Then there was a loud crack and an explosion of wood, followd by a very loud crash. Kyouko looked back over her shoulder and saw a fallen tree, with the bottom of the trunk completely blown apart...from where she ran straight through it. "Oh...that was a tree."
...Poor poor Sukina.
