Lightningkit purred to. She was happy to be praised by such a good warrior. "Thank you." she meowed as she walked to the middle of the clearing and layed down with the sun soaking through her pelt.

"Yes we did" FireStorm and IceStorm said. IceStorm went over to a small patch of grass near an old tree trunk to eat her meal. FireStorm followed and sat next to her and began eating his meal.

 [Silverstar padded slowly out of her den, with her mate following her. She stretched her limbs in the warm sunlight and let her soft green gaze sweep the slowly waking camp. She saw the journeying cats huddled together, eating and whispering. Silverstar leapt down from her den on the Fernhill. She padded quietly over to the fresh-kill and grabbed a plump mouse. She devoured it, and licking her lips, turned to pad over to the clump of cats. She nodded to Frostheart, Firestorm, Icestorm, and Thunderpaw.] "Good morning, have you eaten?" [All the cats nodded.] "Then we must start our journey. Remember, we are not there to fight, only to talk."

[Suddenly, Silverstar turned and signaled the cats to wait. She signaled Hollytail and Lightningkit.]

Hollytail smiled at Firestorm. She then noticed Silverstar was talking with the warriors chosen to go with her leader on this journey. She had wished she was chosen to go, instead of being stuck at camp all day.

'Hm?' Hollytail thought to her self. She saw that Silverstar had signaled her and moved swiftly over to her. "Yes, Silverstar?"

FireStorm and IceStorm started to follow their leader then stopped at her signal. FireStorm and IceStorm both glance at HollyTail and Lightninghkit. Then wait for their leaders signal.

[Silverstar brought Hollytail into her den.] "It is time for you to mentor Lightningpaw. We will hold the ceremony immediately." [Silverstar briskly leapt up to the Fernhill and yowled:] "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Fernhill for a Clan meeting!"

FireStorm and IceStorm move towards the Fernhill. The two of them sit together under the Fernhill and look up towards their leader.

Hollytail was speechless. She's finally getting her own apprentice! She followed Silverstar out of her den and gathered with the rest of the cats.

Lightningkit was being groomed rapidly by her mother. She couldn't belaive she was going to be made an apprentice and with such a great mentor!

[As soon as all the cats had gathered, Silverstar beckoned Lightningkit forward.] "I, Silverstar, leader of StormClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this young apprentice today. She will train hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and learn to protect her Clan with tooth and claw. Lightningkit, do you promise to learn the ways of the warrior code and learn to protect your Clan with your life?"

Hollytail admitted to herself that she was nervous about becoming a mentor. She ignored that though and waited for Silverstar to say something.
