NightFlame and CloudFang walk through the forest. Senses alert. NightFlame senses a WaterVole nearby and drops into a crouch.
He kills it with one swift bite and the two share the vole.

Throughout the entire issue I had decided to remain silent but when Mosstar asked me to come along with her I knew I was going to have to talk about the dream.
(Sorry for the lack of posting we're moving so I won't be able to get on until Friday)

mosstar sits on the cold rock near the entrence of the highrock and beckons them to sit. " i know this is more of a medicine cats problem, but right now, all of the clans are in danger. Recently a few cats had dreams about the problem." Mosstar turns to troutpaw. " i realized you had some knowledge about this flower, i saw and realized that you had brought it into the clan. now cats are passing out and i dont want to see what would happen if a cat happened to eat it." i direct my attention back to the whole group. "silverstar, do you have any suggestions?"

jadefoot walks to the camp with the evening patrol and carries two plump voles and realizes there are stormclan cats in the camp. jadefoot puts the voles in the fresh kill pile and rushes to the highcave in snarling fury. "mosstar! there is..." stopped suddenly at mosstars gaze that silenced him and told him the stormclan cats were here for something important.
"jadefoot, come and sit with us, i see you had an encounter with the flower."
jadefoot sat next to mosstar, her warmth comforted him, everyone was staring at him . " oh um, yeah well it wasnt an encounter but i had a dream."
"ok tell us then." mosstar urged getting impatent. "ok when i blacked out, not of the flower, but of all the commotion in the camp, i was at fourtrees and i saw troutpaw defending himself from the flower while kits, elders,apprentices, and then lastly the warriors." mosstar nodded her approval and then let him go back to the warriors den. no! jadefoot thought.she already has a mate! jadefoot walks to the warriors den and goes into a peaceful deep sleep.

 [Silverstar nods and beckons for Thunderpaw to come forward.] "Thunderpaw has also had this dream." [Turning to Thunderpaw, she asked,] "Can you desxcribe the dream?"

   I padded up to Silverstar and shuffled my feet.
"Yes..." I said. I sighed, preparing to begin.
"It all started with me seeing a large group of cats. They were far away, but they seemed...well...pretty big. From far away, they looked like a normal Clan cat standing close to me.
Anyway, one of them was pacing around a small flower, like the ones we've been seeing, and chanting...
Then the flower wilted, and sweet-smelling purple poison dripped out onto the grass.
Then the flower's roots glowed purple, covered in the poison, and flew out towards the cats around me. They grabbed small kits first, tugging them down into the ground...then the roots grabbed elderly warriors. And then everyone was being grabbed, left and right...cats were yowling...those that were grabbed by the roots were rolling around and moaning...
And the figures, they were grinning...their teeth shown brightly in the moonlight..--! Oh yes! The moon was full, and shining brightly.
I tried warning the cats, but they didn't hear me, didn't listen. And...then a StarClan warrior leapt down from the sky, and came up to me. He said...
'The next full moon will bring torture to the Clans...
Beware the whispering flowers.'"
I glanced at Silverstar. Then I stared at the ground.
I began to tremble.
"That's not all," I said. "After I collapsed at the gathering, the dream continued. The fields were covered in white flowers with purple stripes, all dripping with poison... the fields were filled with them. They had killed all the grass and plants around them.
And...there were dead cats, dead mice, dead birds, dead prey, all laying in the field, rotting..."
I shuddered.
"Everytime I smell that sickly juice, I feel sick. What do we do? Do you think there's a way to stop them?" I asked.

Before anyone could answer, I said, "I fell weak, Silverstar. I want to go to sleep now..."
I sighed, and groggily padded over to a soft patch of grass, plopped down, and fell asleep.

Mosstar dipped her head at thunder paw and then jadefoot said "what if we put mouse bile on it? it kills tick maybe it can kill these flowers before anything else happens."
"thats a good suggestion, what do you think silverstar?" i asked the stormclan leader.

[Turning back to Mosstar, Silverstar began.] "I think this means either StarClan is punishing us or some other force is. Since StarClan cats aren't as big as the cats in her dream, it must be another force. Either way, we must tell our Clans that that they must stay away from these flowers! They can be killers. Those who have been affected should be watched until medicine cats can find a cure."

 (not completely sure about posting here.)
IceStorm dips her head in respect to the leaders. "With all due respect my brother, FireStorm also had a dream about screaming cats. It was not as vivid but it was still scary since he recognized some of the cats." She said.

Mosstar dips her head in acknowlegement to icestorm. "yes, i believe it has been scary for us all, and yes silverstar iwill tell my clan about these flowers, but we need to inform the other clans so they are aware. and thank you for coming back to discuss this matter. i will speak with you at the next gathering." mosstar dips her head at silverstar, and watches the stormclan cats walk out of the clearing.

the next day mosstar wakes and stretches inside her den.she walks down into the clearing, and saw ravenfeather organizing the dawn patrol." ravenfeather ill take the dawn patrol you can go back to your den and get some extra sleep. briarclaw, nightcloud, and aquastreak came with me for a dawn patrol." as the patrol cats were arising, mosstar goes to the medicine den to see if waveheart was awake, she saw her putting herbs together while birchpaw was asleep."waveheart, could you ask Staclan what to do to defend ourselves from this flower or omen, its hurting the clan, not physical huting, but emotionally, i see iceflame jumping every time she sees just one plant. well its in starclans paws." mosstar goes back to the clearing and takes the patrol to the boarder. mosstar spots the flower next to a tree and a shiver went down her spine, why does this haunt me so much?

Birchpaw listened to Thunderpaw attentively. How come I don't have dreams like that? She silently inquired. Isn't that what medicine cats are for?

[Mosstar catches a vole and gulps it down quickly, and inspects the boarders. Nightclan has been really close to the edge of the boarder.] "Make sure Nighclan gets the memo." Mosstar ordered with a growl in her voice. If they dont stop there will be a fight very soon! "The next time I see them..." Mosstar murmured under her breath.
