One, two, three, four... He was still counting when the dragon appeared. In the initial shock he slew several more, and still more as they tried to run. Anyone that he had passed up now had to try and retreat by running near him and he let very few by. By the end, blood stained his entire being, and was so soaked in some areas that it... well, it bled through, and dripped all over. He set the blade back in its sheath. It cleaned itself, a small magick emplaced by Hosvanji when Cedric had first been visited by the God. He turned and looked to his 'allies' and take in the results. So few deaths. In fact, he only saw nine bodies as it was, that were Tamuril's men. That was pathetic. Surely there was another motive.

Karasi was, to say the least, scoked at the sudden apperance of the dragon. Courching lower on the roof, she would even admit to being frightened. Hell, with something like that, who wouldn't be? Looking up over the edge of the roof, she saw the retreat of the small force. Many of them were wounded, most would not make it beyond the city, the Elvian girl guessed. Good, she thought. They did not deserve to live. Perhaps her thoughts were cold, but Karasi had little love for the forces of Ehsar after what had happened to her family.
In the confusion, she noticed one of the enimies drop something. Looking over, she wondered what it could be, it did not lok like a weapon... The girl decided to wait till the fighting was done, and the forces had gone back inside to find out.

Takara snapped again, and the dragon disappeared once all of the soldiers of Ehsar were gone. She turned away, walking out of the room and returned to her shoes. Once they were back on, she headed outside. The sun greeted her, and blinked against it, bringing a hand up to shelter her frozen eyes that disliked to be melted. Once her eyes adjusted to the light, she put down her bow and quiver and started walking again, looking down at the dead men and stopping. She shut her eyes, whispering a thanks to them before she started off again.
"...And exactly you might you be?" Takara asked in monotone as she approached Cedric. Her pupils were small and looked more like tiny dots, and the icy blue irises looked hollow. "You obviously aren't an enemy, but quite frankly I don't know who you are."

Shin awoke in a dark place. It felt like a cave with all the rocks he was siting on. He sat up and looked around. It was a cave, he confermed it from the spiky ceiling. The brown head stood up and walked to the bars surronding him. Through the bars on the other side of the cave was a elf. A Dark elf. And normal light elf would never be in this type of place. The dark elf was wearing a dark blue pants and a dark green shirt. He had a horrible sence of fashion. 'Blue and green? Come on, how back can you get?' Shin snorted a laugh as he thought that.
The elf's eyes snaped to him and stood up. He walked over to him and stood in front of him. now that Shin got a closer look, that elf looked a lot like him.
((XD Sorry. More later. Really I promise this time. In school again.))

He looked up to see Lady Takara. Now he had her attention, and without even trying. "I am the man that slew your ex-husband," he replied simply. "My name is invalid. Give me one if you so desire, but that may be discussed later, if you don't mind. Earlier, I came to your castle for the second time to try and speak with you. Unfortunately, this incident occurred and I lent a hand. I had hoped to speak of an alliance, if you will, between your forces and myself. I know I am only one man, but blessed by a God, and I think my clothes speak plainly for me, smothered in the enemy's blood." He set his left hand on the pommel of his sword, and his right counter-balanced the weapon by resting on the sheathed blade. It was a comfortable stance, and one in which his weapon was easily accessed. Two-for-one. Right now, though, it was merely for comfort.

Takara's eyes seemed to briefly flicker with emotion when she heard that he had been the one who'd killed Joseph. This was the man? He was the one who had killed that pig? She didn't care what other people thought, the man standing in front of her was a hero. To her, and for her kingdom. The small melting that had taken place in her eyes was sealed as she brought herself back together, briefly glancing down at the ground. As she did this, she caught back onto his words, nodding once he finished. Then another though came to her, was he lying? She couldn't be sure, but as she touched the clear jewel that hung around her neck; she knew he was telling the truth.
"I see. You are welcome here." Takara told him in an almost hushed voice as she lowered her hand and looked back up at him. "Are you hungry? Tired?"

He gave a bow of his head. He gave no sign that he had watched her reaction. It was good to know that she was happy the man that claimed kingship was dead. It became even more obvious to him when she offered food and a bed. "No, it is okay. May I ask for a reservation? I am not tired now, but a time will come when I need my rest." He was somewhat flattered she had offered, and to a stranger whose name Takara hadn't learned. It just emphasized how grateful she was, and he made a note to never forget that.

"Yes." Takara answered with a small nod, still half-inspecting him. He didn't seem like much on the outside, but she could sense a god's mark upon him. He must have come because his god had told him to. But why? The only reason would be to help with this war, as clear as that could be. It most likely wasn't for her, but for the two jewels. The gods were probably the ones who had created the jewels and sent them down to the earth. They knew what would happen if all four jewels were to be put together. Chaos, in the hands of someone with an ill heart. True, it may land with someone with a heart as pure as white; but eventually as it got passed on it would fall upon the wrong lap. Corruption eventually appeared, a good example coming from the Ehsar king. His mother and father had been great leaders, but they had spoiled their children. It was amazing what such a simple thing could lead to.
"My queen," A knight came up next to her, making her turn around and look over at her. The blank, cold expression on her face made it harder for her subjects to approach her; this being clear from the way the knight was looking at her. "What is your orders?"
"There is an old chamber within my old rooms when I was a child," Takara answered, remembering what she'd done before she'd gone out and created that dragon of fire. "It's hidden. Theives went in and tried to steal the Air and Fire jewel. However, I took it back from them and sealed them inside. If you could go and unseal it and take them in for questioning before they run out of air, that would be honorable. The passage they went through is on the wall farthest from the door and will have black marks on it." There really wasn't much of a point to keep where it was secret, seeing how the men would have to get out eventually. Of course, Takara could always just keep them in there and let their punishment be a slow death. She didn't take her enemies lightly. But they could have precious information.
The knight nodded, backing away from her and taking off to carry out her orders. Takara now faced the strange man again, her face remaining the same as it had when she'd been talking to the knight. "Are you certain that you aren't hungry or tired?"

He stood and remained quiet while she spoke with the other man. So there had been a reason. But why waste these lives? Ehsar truly has fallen prey to pure arrogance and greed. I have indeed chosen the right side, and without Hosvanji to point it out. How proud he would be. The thoughts never showed on his face, however. "No, I'm fine for now. When I speak of a God's blessings, I don't speak lightly. I was given many... gifts while he still lived. Now, I will repay him by completing one final Reformation, and honor his death soundly. I suppose that's of no concern to you, however."

Takara kept her eyes locked upon the stranger's, not making any other movements other than blinking. "Everyone has their own choices of life. Even it seems like something that means nothing to another, it means something to the one who chases after it. I am not one of those who would laugh at another's dreams for I know that it is important to them; even if not to another. Perhaps that does not answer what you just said. All that I merely saying is that whatever you do is your business and I respect it. Wishing to carry out this man's wishes in honor of his death is something that I find honorable."
With her words finished, Takara nodded to him one last time. "I must be going now. Remember that if you are in need you are welcome here in Trusar and within the castle." She faced away from him, part of her still wanting to stay and learn more about this man. But unlike others, she didn't have the choices that they had. She had duties to attend to, and a kingdom to rule. She didn't have much time to stop and talk to another. And considering that she was the only royal left, everything leaned upon her and no one else. True the council was there, but all that they could really do was give her the advice that she never even listened to. The councils' powers were overrated. They couldn't do anything unless her word permitted them to.
"...The dragon of fire, thunder, and wind..." Takara whispered to herself as she exited, heading back to her room. "...Powerful and wise. Yet trapped inside of a cage so he cannot stretch his wings.... You were wise, uncle... I never actually thought of your words as something truthful.... Merely words that you spoke. A mind of a child innocent and pure cannot understand such things as a young age...."

The mages and soldiers have long returned to their rooms. Matt had left it to himself to tend his flowers. He sprinkled a light dab of water using his power over the air, delivering water to the right places. He laid back in his bed exhausted. The water that was in the air floating had fallen from the ground and had splattered all over the floor of his room. A breeze came in through his window and it felt warm against his face. He placed himself underneath of his covers and began to drift into a pleasant sleep. He had not slept for what seemed to be an eternity.
Meanwhile, the festival for the 45th division's graduation was still going to be done. It had just been rescheduled for the next evening. This had plagued Matt's mind and gave him a little trouble falling asleep, but he came over it and decided that preparations for the party would begin tomorrow morning. For now he would rest.
As for the 45th magic division, the 300 that it had started with had already been lowered to about 200. That last battle had taken roughly 100 of the division's newest mages. The graduation would be gloomy for most of the students, but they would try to have a fun time at the ceremony and live well for their fallen comrades who could not attend their own graduation.

Time had passed and Shin still was in his cell. The elf had left before after saying something in elven. Shin hadn't learned it yet, but he kept replying the words round and round in his head. "Ratic nok vorti." Shin said aloud solmly. What did they mean? He felt they were very important, but why? Shin sighed with frustrasion. He was just thinking too hard. How long were they going to keep him in here? It's been at least 12 hours. When Shin stood up to strech his legs someone opened a door. He looked to find the same dark elf at the bars of the cell, but he wasn't alone. He had two muscluer elfs next to him. He opened the cell and both muscle freaks walked in. One had rope and tied Shin's hands in front of him. He didn't resist because he knew it was hopeless. The two were 3 times his size, he couldn't take them on with 5 of him. The other muscle freak stood behind him to make sure he didn't try anything funny. The one that tied his hands, pulled him forward and out of the cell. They went out of the cave room and ended up in a very dark hall. They toke a left and walked. The small dark elf leading.

Karasi stayed low on the roof top, watching what ws going on down below. She could not hear what they were saying, but she wished they would get it over with. She was getting cramped from being in the same position. How long was this going to take? The Elvian girl wanted to know what it was that the man had dropped. Shifting slightly, Karasi winced as she heard the crack of a twig beneath her foot. Crouching down further, she prayed to the gods taht her wings did not show. It wold not do for the palace gaurds to think her a spy, esspecially now, in light of what had happened. Not to mention the effect it may have on her plans for getting into the mage's school.

Takara was now back in her room, reading a paper with a stack of others that she had written beside her. It was getting close to the Wind Mages of the Fourty-Fifth division graduation. They seemed to have done very well, as a few of the other papers that she had been reading suggested. Morale, that was what they would need to give them courage. Takara looked down at the names, knowing that she probably read more than half of them on a list that showed who had died or gone missing during the war. As she switched, she noticed a paper that showed that Shin had gone missing. He'd gone missing? Takara lifted an eyebrow, staring down at the boy's name. There wasn't anything that she could do, but she still wished that there was something.
"...You still have to get your reward..." Takara told the piece of paper as she set it off to the side. Picking up a feather, she dipped it into the small ink bottle and began writing a letter to Matt. She wanted to be there for his classes graduation, as strange as it sounded. Takara had heard that he was a very good teacher, so she might as well meet with this man. After all, hadn't it been him who had given her that green flower?
Once the letter was finished, Takara sent it down, returning to the rest of her work.

As Matt rested in his bed, the moonlight slowly turned into sunlight as the sun began to rise over the hill. His flowers that were sitting in the window had tilted its blooms to face the sun to catch as much light as it could. A small bird had found its way into the pile of flowers and began nesting there. It was a pair of small hummingbirds. They had found various articles and began to make a cloth nest in the flowers without Matt knowing, for he was asleep. As the sun rose higher, their nest had nearly been completed. The nest looked like a small basket hanging off of one of the sinking stems.
Before Matt could wake, they completed the nest and had already snuggled into it for a small nap.
