At this moment, Kuro's vision began to start failing him. Over-exhaustion plus tremendous amounts of damage usually affects his vision first. "Ugh..." He muttered as he kept strong and stood up, waiting for the blow to affect him. "If you think defeating me is that easy, then your wrong..." He laughed, using his Protect move at the last minute, canceling Bytes's electrical charge. "Now here I come!" Using his Dragon Rush as quickly as he could, he hastily struck over and over again, but as soon as he landed the second strike, his body started to fail him. He collapsed onto the ground, struggling to get back up to battle.

"Good job..." Kuro chuckled calmly, he could feel his strength returning to him, the instant the battle was over. "O yeah...I forgot. We can't do any real damage to each other inside of the guild...We get healed after the battle..." Jumping off of the ground, Kurogane walked steadily towards Bytes. "Thanks for the battle, you make a formidable rival." With that, the Aron ran away from the battlefield in search for his own team.

"Mom what are we doing at the training field?" The tiny Charmander asked trying to keep up to his mother. "Mom?" Nothing but the cold shoulder was returned to him.

"Julian, come on now." Sheena simply responded, her face dragging onto the ground as if she ws depressed for some reason. "Julian, just listen to mommy now. Keep quiet until we get into the battlefield..." Her voice muttered the words as the two continued down the corridor.

"Okay..." Julian responded, a tear coming down his eye from the sadness he was watching Sheena in. "What's wrong...?" He tried to speak out, but the words wouldn't come out. "Tell me..." He whined in his head, but again, the words wouldn't come out of his mouth.

"We're here..." Sheena chuckled nervously as she dragged her body to the other end of the battlefield, telling Julian to wait on the other. "The battle between Sheena and Julian is about to begin!" She laughed, picking up her face. Sheena's facial expression was strange; her eyes were hard to red also.

"We're going to fight...?" Julian started backing out of the battlefield, but his legs wouldn't budge. "What's going on?!" Julian panicked as he attempted to run, but he learned his feet were stuck ground.

"You can't leave this battle..." Sheena smiled as her face started to lighten up from what it was before. "Julian, your going have to learn how to fight back. To every kind of enemy, especially ones that seem like you could never hurt..." Sheena giggled as she started to jump around.

"So I have to fight you to conquer that?" Julian wondered, still trying to break free from his imprisonment. "Mom, why are you making me battle you?" He cried out as Sheena got closer and closer towards him.

"Julian, your going to be a great warrior one day, but your weakness is..." Sheena paused as petals started to whirl around her body, soon surrounding Julian. "Your weakness is how stubborn you are, though it is also a strength." Sheena laughed as the petals started to strike Julian, causing him to gasp in pain. "Your stubborn when you pick who and who not to fight...Like with me, you decided not to fight me so now you won't. Just like anyone else in our Team..." Sheena laughed as she continued to use Petal Dance on Julian.

"Stop it, it hurts!" Julian cried out as tears started to fall from her eyes. Petals were slamming into his body, cutting his arms and tail, along with other part of his body. "STOP THIS NONSENSE!" He out-bursted, tears strolling down his eyes.

"My point exactly..." Sheena said as she calmed down from the Petal Dance, rushing towards her baby. "Julian, I'm so sorry but it had to be done. You had to know your weakness before it was too late. Especially in the future, when you don't know what could happen. People you know, people you love could turn against you and you will not have the will to fight back..." She cried as she wrapped her arms around Julian, the roots still around his feet. "Don't worry, you will be healed soon...ingrain works amazing for whoever stands in the original spot of the user." Sheena smiled, looking at her son with pride and amazement.

"Why...?" Julian cried, wrapping his around hers. "Why now?" The Charmander cried, holding his mother tighter and tighter. "Will I haev to fight you in the future?"

"...I can't answer you that." Sheena smiled as she pulled away from him. "But if we do fight in the future, I want you to give it your all. No mercy alright?" The Sunflora laughed as the roots dug back underground where they belonged, releasing Julian from the strike. "Now lets go back to the team room and rest for whatever happens tomorrow."

"Okay..." Julian wiped away his tears, smiling just a bit. His mother, she was amazing. Julian can't help but image what life would be without her, she always knew what to say to calm him down. He was stubborn, he knew that, but he was also quiet emotional about some stuff. "Home away!" Julian laughed as he raced down the corridor, Sheena chasing from behind.

Zosee and Zero danced circles around each other, the two rushing at each other with fangs and claws bared, disengaging, and rushing at each other once more. Fire, Ice and electricity crackled where they met and others at the field did their best to stay away from the sparring duo.

Off to the side an electrike with an overlarge tail swatted at a dummy playfully, rolling onto his back and sending a few weak snowflakes floating at the training dummy.

Within the shadows of the archway back into the palace, a small eevee lurked, watching over her brother protectively. She wasn't simply sitting there though; magical darkness shrouded her, so that she was barely a visible shape shifting through the unnatural darkness surrounding the archway.

The concentration needed for her to retain this form was broken when someone crossed through the archway below her. The Shadows suddenly rushed and condensed to the highest point of the arch, and it fell down even as the shape and colour of an eevee became visible. A growling sound was audible from her as she flipped over to land on her feet -on top of an Abra's head.

She launched off the Psychic-type's head in the direction opposite the training fields, and landed on all fours, spinning back around right away to face the Abra, hissing.

Zora stared at the Abra who had addressed her, hissed once more, and then vanished from view suddenly in a black blur. The Shadows in the area thickened as Zora travelled from one to the other, looking for an opportune moment to strike...

The electrike looked up at the startled yell of a magikarp. Zoey leaped to his feet and quietly walked over, keeping a low profile as he stalked towards the Abra and the Magikarp on the ground. Zoey was confused as to why the fish was here -he's only ever seen them underwater- but he wasn't complaining. Zoey loved seafood.

A moment later Celsus would find a brown electrike on top of his bag, trying to gnaw through the material to get to him.

"Zoey! No! No hunting inside the Palace!" Zosee cried when she spotted this, disengaging from her fight with Zero to run over to her son. With the speed known to her species, she was there within a second, having grabbed Zoey by the collar and pulled the little one off. Zoey ignored his mother, his paw reaching out and clawing at the air as if he could get to the Magikarp from a distance. "Sorry about that, you ok?"

Zosee looked down to the magikarp with some amusement. She never imagined one would be able to find the guts -or transportation- to come to form an exploration team. Well, this one was certainly resourceful if nothing else.

"Ah, I've only been here a few weeks, though me and my mate have been exploring for well over a decade. We're Team Absolute Indignation; it's nice to meet you Imiti and Celsus." Zosee replied to the Abra, her words muffled by the fact there was an Electrike dangling from her mouth.

To the side, there was suddenly and explosion of dark wisps and a black streak, aimed for Imiti...

...and was stopped mid-air by a barrier. Zora bounced back off the barrier, landing on her rump. Her ears laid flat against her head as she bared her teeth at the Abra.

"Whoa there kiddo, calm down Zora." Zero told his daughter casually as he strode up to her side, stepping protectively between her and her intended prey. "Protectively" for Imiti, and not for Zora by the way.

"Sorry about the kids, it's hard to make them understand that hunting inside the castle is forbidden." He apologized, dispelling the barrier he had erected. "So, you're new here huh? What do you think of the Rescue Team Life so far?"

Zosee smiled in amusement at the chatter between the Magikarp and Abra as Zero picked Zora up by the scruff of her neck and padded over to his mate's side. Both of them dropped their kids onto the ground, keeping a close eye on them less they try to...snack...again. Zero's ear flicked as he cocked his head curiously, listening to the Abra list off names. The mention of Atra brought a small smile to his face as he remembered the little eevee who had been so desperate to join Absolute Indignation.

"Hmmhmm, yes. I am Zero and my mate here is Zosee. The two fierce little hunters here are our kids." Zero replied. In front of Zosee, Zoey straightened himself up, beaming proudly at the term 'fierce little hunters'. Zora stayed silent, glaring at the Abra, the side of her mouth open slightly in a threatening snarl. Zosee wasn't surprised to see that the Abra knew her and Zero's names -ever since their "disappearance" apparently they've become a hot topic for a while- but she was impressed that Imiti knew her kid's names. They've been keeping mostly quiet and with a low profile since they've come back from Thunder Ridge, so Zoey and Zora wouldn't be common knowledge.

"So you two got caught in the whole Heart Swap Fiasco as well huh?" Zosee asked, pinning Zoey down by the tail when it looked like he was going to leap forward. "Now that you mention it, I do remember seeing an Abra. I haven't been here for very long, but long enough to tell you that you shouldn't be surprised something like that happened. Weird things occur regularly around here it seems."

No sound was made upon entrance, the duo were both swift and silent as they moved through the palace and into the training area.
Finally stepping into sight, the Poochyena lifted her head and sniffed around lightly.
Although she was clearly not a member of the Guild of the Sun, she and her team mate had opted to stay there rather than the Exchange.
Said team mate was far more hesitant to step into the open, the shadows were his domain and he did his best work in total darkness.
"Kit, you dork. Come out already. No one's here."
A soft sigh was barely audible as a black and red Vulpix stepped behind his ally. A mask obscured his face from view.
"Why...are we here again?"
"I smelt treasure, moron! We're here to find it!"
Ignoring her insults the Vulpix directed his masked gaze around, clearly annoyed. He saw no treasure here.
