Nathaniel had traded his skateboard for the Air Treck he and one of his father's friends had made. It looked like the Rumble King's, and worked partially like the regular Air Treck in the manga. He skated on through and managed to snag a spot in line behind Dan and Lisa, he was however dressed in his cosplay outfit.

Lisa, as she was looking around turned to look at Nathaniel. She recognized the skateboard. "Hey!" She said addressing Nataniel. "Are you that boy from the hotel, the one who was riding his skateboard around inside the building?" Lisa asked with a rather sharp tone, but that kept it's warmth and friendliness.

Dan was surprised by the arrival of the skateboard kid. He seemed to be wearing inline roller skates this time and dressed up in some costume he didn't recognize. For that matter Dan wondered how long he had been behind them since there were people behind them before.
"Well since we have bumped into each other before may I ask who you are supposed to be? Or is that your regular outfit?" Dan asked the new guy a little perturbed by th sudden disturbance of time with Lisa.

"I'm Yoshitsune the Rumble King from Air Gear, and I never have a normal outfit" Nathaniel replied. "Is this your first time at a Con?" he asked the two.

Lisa smiled up at Dan and looked back to Nathaniel. "Well, this is my second con, and I'm quite excited to be here with my friend. As for my friend here, this is his first time, at least as far as I know." Lisa said with another glance up at Dan who seemed slightly put out. She wrapped and arm around Dan and laughed softly. "How about you?" She asked deciding to leave out any trial of his cosplay character's name.

"This is my 18th, actually" Nathaniel replied grinning. "My Dad is a big man in one of the anime production companies, but since he isn't a fan of anime himself he sends me everywhere. My mom is big in the hotel business, so we get free rooms constantly."

"Oh wow!" Lisa exclaimed. "That is awesome for you! So you get to go to these things all the time! This isn't the only one you go to is it? When did you get into anime and start attending the conventions?" Lisa knew she could meet interesting people standing in lines. That was all part of the fun!

"I started watching Gundam at age 5, from there my dad would bring home anime for me to watch. I started attending cons about three years, and I do go to other cons." Nathaniel scratched the back of his head, he wasn't sure why he was offering up all this information, he ended up putting it down to her personality.

"Very awesome! Wow, you lucky guy!" She laughed. "So do you have a favorite convention you like to go to? I'm kind of curious... what is it that your father does?" Lisa asked. "How is he related to anime if he doesn't like it?" She asked curiously. "I hope I'm not asking you too many questions."

Dan put his arm around Lisa's waist and gently held her as she talked to the seemingly over energetic youth. He tried to guess how old he was to be watching stuff that back when he was five years of age. What more he seemed to have major connections in an industry he only recently learned of.
"Ahh I see...I guess. I am not just new to conventions I am new to anime in general." Dan said to Nathaniel before turning to Lisa once more. "How many of these conventions are there?"

Lisa playfully punched Dan in the stomach, not near enough to actually hurt. "You know more about anime than I do." She said with a laugh. "Well there are conventions all around. This one isn't the only one. This is just one of the larger ones on the west coast! But they have them all over the states and in Canada, and in Japan I imagine. I don't know if other places have them or not." She smiled up at Dan. She was aware of his arm around her waist. Did he feel threatened by this boy in any way? "Oh Dan, the line is moving! Let's slide down a bit more okay." She said gesturing to the space of a few feet that now separated them from the line.

Dan pondered what Lisa said. She was the person that really got him into anime in the first place and he did research it a bit but did he really know more then her? Dan looked behind him and was surprised the line moved as it did. He could see some annoyed people wondering if they should skip ahead of them too. Dan moved his arm from around Lisa's waist to her hand and turned so they could move ahead in line.
"Thanks for keeping an eye on the line Lisa." Dan said with great amusement as he squeezed her hand. His eyes focused on her face as he spoke and he smiled. He was sure he was in love but did she care for him the same way? He could only hope as new things happen day by day.

Lisa skipped forward quite ceremoniously. The space in the line was now filled. Lisa smiled oddly up at Dan as they settled in their temporary spot in line. She readjusted her bag on her shoulder, it had started to fall down her arm. "It's not a problem." She said pulling at her sleeve, messing with the elastic around the frilly cuffs. "The people here generally are really kind, they would tell us before getting before us. It's still important though to keep watch, you know?" Lisa asked.
Her hand remained wrapped around his, it was refreshing, calming. She enjoyed it greatly, walking around with a guy. It made her feel special, like the girls at her school who seemed to always have a guy's company. For once, was it possible, she could feel like a princess with a prince by her side.

"That's reassuring. One wouldn't want a group of angry people starting trouble. Especially considering how many people are around here. Imagine how troublesome it would be if people got upset with each other in such close quarters." Dan said turning his attention to the crowd. "Not that most people would start a riot just because we forgot to move with the line."

"They're pretty good people." She said knowingly. "They're just people here to have fun! Why start a fight when you're here to have fun?" Lisa smiled and looked about.
Lisa was surprised, really, how long it took to get though the line. She had expected it to take a bit more time. Together Lisa and Dan walked away from the registration booth. Both carried a plastic bag full of information about the convention. They held a card with their names and a ID number.
Seeing a small booth set up near the room entrance she raced ahead of Dan. She spoke with the owner of the booth and pointed out something. Handing the man some money she grabbed a couple long blue cords off the table and ran off back to Dan. "Dan, I got this for you." She said holding up the blue lanyard. It said Baka Con on it in bold, white letters. "It's a lanyard, see." She took hers and attached the ID to it. "This way you don't need to worry about holding it, or pinning it to your clothes. You'll be needing this down the road." She explained to him.
