((Hahaha. Yeah. I don't care about it. I just use all my old items and stuff...not that it matters, since this is the only place I go to as well! Haha.))

Mei was just about to head out the door when Talen came towards her. "Oh. You decided to say goodbye?" She asked with a hint of dry sarcasm. She gave a light laugh and opened the door, wrapping a loose knitted scarf around her neck. "You guys have fun. And if I'm not back before you head over to Alice's, let her know you can start without me. I'll just jump in and eat the left overs. I'm good for doing that." She smirked and put a hand atop Talen's head.

"And be careful...something's not right. Can't tell you why, but it just isn't. so don't do anything ridiculous and don't let Abel do anything stupid or ignorant." With a gentle nod she gave Talen a kiss and walked out the door, Zeus trotting after her.

Lilith watched Talen leave before putting some food into her mouth and examining the two men making sandwiches. "I would kill him." She said simply and glanced at Abel when he looked up. "I don't like that guy. He's annoying."

Abel paused in his sandwich making and studied Lilith, unsure if she meant what she had said or not. Deciding not to try anymore, he went back to putting some mustard onto the bread. At the mention of Leah he looked at Saul and smiled a bit. "Oh...yeah. She's nice." He said and looked away.

A few minutes later all the food was packed away and Abel had put on his coat, scarf, and hat. His blonde hair curled around the knitted cap like a halo. "Let's go!" He declared and headed to the door, tugging along the bag of food.

Lilith snorted, rubbed her face with her gloved hand, and trailed after the angel, staring blankly ahead.

((Hahah, I was not aware that having a boyfriend was this involved. I suck. And I'm sorry. *laughs*))

"I always got time to say goodbye to you." Talen said of Mei. "Or anything, really." He smiled and then looked sulky. "Getting all sarcastic with me." He laughed gently at her remark and nodded. "You got it."

However, at her next words his smile fell a little. "Of course on Abel's birthday." Is what he said, shaking his head. He took her kiss and watching her briefly walk away, he shut the door after her. He remained there for a time wondering what she could have meant and felt an odd sense of dread settle in the pit of his stomach.

Saul only chuckled at Lilith's words. "That's my best friend, you know." He said. "You'd have to make his death quick and painless." The corner of his mouth twitched and then he quickly looked up at Abel at his words about Leah. "Yeah. She's a great girl." He frowned at him as he looked away, but decidedly said nothing about it.

When everything was packed and ready Talen came bounding to them already dressed up for the weather. "ALRIGHT!" He cried. "Let's do this thing!"

Saul stared at Talen and smiled just slightly.

"Aren't you excited?" Talen demanded. "You better GET excited. I can't be excited for both of you." And he followed after Lilith, thought better of it, and pushed Saul ahead of him like human barrier.

((hahahaha. there.))

((Ahaha. Don't worry about it. I've been crazy busy lately too.))

Abel turned around and waited at the door for everyone to come with him. Once they were all there, he smiled broadly and headed outside. Snow covered the ground and plants, created a white blanket to match the gray-white sky. He breathed out into the cold air, condensation forming into a cloud of air.

Lilith looked around with her bored expression and pulled at her long, elbow length gloves. "I hate the snow." She proclaimed and started to walk in front of everyone. "I take that back. I don't know what to think about snow. I know I WOULD hate it. I would. Maybe I did..."

Abel blinked after her, gave a shrug and tried to catch up with her. "Snow is great, Lilith! It only comes once a year. Rain and sunshine come year round but the only time snow comes is in the winter. That's why it's so special. You can't say that about rain."

"In the desert you can." Lilith looked at him and he stared at her. They were silent until she looked away. "It's true."

"Oh...well...yes." He paused nervously. "But not in Europe...or here. For us its special." He nodded as she raised her brows and seemed to ignore his statement. "Well. I mean I guess I can understand...it IS cold...and wet...and...white?"

"It is." She crossed her arms. She should have been freezing in her thin leather jacket and jeans. But she seemed to not notice a thing. "But if you like it, I understand. Anyways, I won't damper your mood, Abel, it IS your birthday. And if you were never born you wouldn't be here to talk to about snow. So. Happy Birthday."

Abel chuckled a little at her strange words and he smiled at her. "Thanks." He looked over his shoulder at Saul and Talen. "Hurry up!" He then started walking faster.

((Lol, as long as it's not just me. Srsly.))

Talen and Saul exchanged a look at Abel and Lilith's conversation. Talen had his eyebrows raised. Saul was only smiling and he shrugged in a dismissive way.

"She's the greatest, right?" Saul wanted to know, that same flat sense of humor.

"You're some kinda crazy." Talen admitted.

Saul laughed and pushed his friend along to catch up with Abel. "I know."

Talen grinned and once they caught up he threw Abel a look. "Oh yeah. Lilith told me to tell you to be careful today." He grinned and waggled his eyebrows. "We can't be too stupid today, alright?"

"Impossible." Saul said under his breath.

((ahaha, too true... ANYWAY. THERE IT IS. I'MMA TRY TO BE MORE CONSISTENT AGAIN. SORRY.))

Abel looked over at Talen and Saul when they caught up with him. He smiled a little and nodded. "I'll try not to do anything stupid." He said with a little humor. But the humor was short lived when he ran into Lilith who was standing still.

"Oh. Oh my. I'm sorry." He stammered and then looked past her to see a figure on the corner of the street, watching them from the blackest of sunglasses. Abel stared at the person.

They were extremely pale, almost the color of the snow around them. The sunglasses covered any eyes underneath, save for a white eye patch over the left eye that peeked behind the glasses. Their hair was messy and choppy with a few dreads and braids, completely white, and shaved off on the sides like a makeshift mohawk. It was probably a woman from the soft lips, although wide, and the rounded nose. Her jaw was squared, but strangely alluring. The bottom half of her face made one want to really know what laid underneath.

After a few minutes of her watching, and them standing, a smile spread on her face, it seemed to take away any allure. It was wide and sinister with a little more teeth than normal.

Lilith made a low growl and she turned towards the others. "We should head the other way..." She began. Abel turned with her and jumped in startle when he saw the woman standing just a foot behind them now. How she got there...he didn't understand.

The woman put her hands on Saul's shoulder and she let out a laugh, patting him. "Lilith! Lilllllliiiiitttth. Lil' Lily Lilith. Finally we found you. We missed you so much. I finally get to meet your pet too. What a...sad looking bag of flesh." She moved her hand to his chin and Lilith snatched her pale hand. "Fiesty! Where did that come from? I thought we zapped all that from you hundreds of years ********. You." Lilith said sternly.

Abel had the feeling this wasn't a friend of Lilith's anymore. "Ummm...can we help you?"

"THE ANGEL! Oh my GOD." She said God with a snide remark. "Awwwwwww." She laughed her strangely cracked and unsettling laugh and moved past Talen and Saul towards Abel, who took two steps back. "Scared? I SMELL it." Her nostrils flared as she took a huge breath.

((BAH. Wanted to post to this last night... cos hello. That's exciting. Fell asleep because of a cold. YES. AWESOME. LOVE THAT. OKAY. GO POST GO.))

Talen chuckled at his friend and seemed satisfied with the response. He fell into step beside him, Saul bringing up the rear, but at Abel's sudden stop Talen stopped as well. Saul moved around them to come beside Lilith, a subtle frown on his face.

There was no real question of why Lilith wanted them to go the other way. Even if they didn't know quite what was going on, they did know there was something wrong with this person on the street. They could feel it and it made them colder for their trouble. Saul perhaps knew what she was before either of the others being he'd started using most of his time living with Lilith and Cain, but he kept silent, even as the figure suddenly appeared beside them.

He didn't flinch when she touched him, mocking him in an obviously female voice. Saul regarded her taunts with his usually unconcerned look. Talen seemed just about as riled as Lilith, though Saul seemed surprised at all it had bothered Lilith. He looked at her with an expression that seemed to say he was alright.

"She's right." He said. "Sad looking bag of flesh." His mouth flickered with a ghost of a smile, his pale eyes back on their unwanted guest.

While Saul seemed perfectly alright remaining calm, Talen of course was not having any of this. When she began to approach Abel he'd had enough. He stepped in her way putting himself between them and glared.

"You heard the lady. ******** you. Now drop the you and switch it for off and ******** off." He said in a mock cheerful voice. There was a hot tone of anger just beneath it.

He might have said more, but he paused as yet another figure made itself known. They came quietly, and gave no indication of a greeting or even that'd he'd seen them. He merely moved up behind what was maybe his companion and stood by quietly. There was nothing especially striking about this individual, nothing that gave him away except that the feeling that there was something off about him. He was tall, lean and had a long heavy face. He had his arms bare to the cold as were his shoulders, but he seemed to take no notice.

He shifted heavy eyes to look at Abel. They were both a deeply unsettling yellow.

Abel took a couple steps back when the woman made an advance towards him. He looked uneasy as he felt his stomach drop. As Talen moved in front of him he felt even more uneasy. Something about the woman's smile made him nervous.

Said woman stopped abruptly when Talen moved and spoke. Her mouth pursed into a pout and a second later she burst into maniacal laughter again. She shook her head and nodded it at the same time. "Oh. You ARE a feisty little thing aren't you? So protective over your little guardian angel. Shouldn't it be the other way around? If so, the feathered thing is pretty useless huh? Can't even protect you from me." She moved close to Talen and snatched his chin roughly, fingers pushing down with force as she pulled his head towards her. "You'll be fun." She said and glanced up when Abel moved around Talen and took her wrist. "He stirs!" She pulled away from both of them with her wide smile.

Lilith remained still and looked up when the man came forward. She still appeared emotionless and cold, but something about the man made her move closer to Saul. She reached out a gloved hand and wrapped it around his, pulling him towards her. "What do you two want?"

The woman whirled to her, laughing as if that was the funniest thing in the world. "YOU'RE STUPID!" She yelled, voice suddenly angry.

The random change of emotion made Abel flinch.

"You don't even know what we are here for!!! She doesn't know what we are here for!" She said to the man near her. "I thought you were the smarter one, where your filthy thick-skulled brother was the stupid one. Guess I was wrong. We're here for YOU. I kind of want to take the fun one too though." She added as a side not, pointing at Talen. At the mention Abel stepped a little to Talen.

"You think we'd go through all this trouble to just say hi and leave? You're a RIOT. To think that when we sucked all that heart from you we thought you'd have no sense of humor too! Maybe we forgot that part!" Her hand lashed out to Lilith who immediately threw her fist at the woman. She caught Lilith's fist and raised her pale brows. "Gloves? You're hands actually cold or something? Thought we got rid of you sense of feeling too." She said everything with her wide, toothy smile.

"You should leave..." Came Abel's voice, eyes darkening.
PostPosted: Fri Feb 05, 2010 9:31 pm

((DUNNANA... I should be sleeping. Sleeping would probably be the beeest idea... but first...!))

Talen seemed rather on edge as the woman turned her attention onto him, but as always he was defiant and brave almost to a fault. He knew of course there was little he could do in such situations, but that had never stopped him before. He regarded her unflinchingly, that same fierceness in his eyes.

"Damn straight I'm feisty." He snarled. "Don't. Talk. About Abel." He nearly winced as she grabbed his chin and drug him forward. His feet drug and stumbled, but he remained on his feet, glaring at her hard from beneath his brow.

"Talen-" Saul tried to say, but Abel had moved forward then. He stood back, willing with his eyes for Talen to shut his mouth. Talen for once, wether it was by Saul's look or Abel himself became quiet.

He jerked away, still glaring. He wiped hard at his chin as if to remove the disgusting feeling of her touch. Saul seemed relieved at this, but stiffened at Lilith's sudden touch. He glanced at her briefly and gripped her hand hard in return. He stepped closer to her at her question, close enough so that their shoulders touched. He was watching the woman carefully. Talen had eyes for the quiet man who had appeared, face suspicious.

He was still standing quietly, reserved as his companion was boisterous. The man seemed to have little interest for anyone except Abel. He remained quiet even as his companion addressed him, but with her remark his eyes moved slowly over to Lilith and there he left them. He was unnervingly quiet, expressionless in a different way than Lilith, where at least she was cold with this man there was nothing. Nothing stirred behind his eyes.

Talen watched him hard for a moment longer before looking back at the woman as she lashed out at Lilith. He moved forward, but the silent of the pair was suddenly behind him, a vice like hand tight on his shoulder.

"DON'T." Was all he managed to get out, unable to struggle away from the hand that held him fast.

Saul was helpless to do much, but moved in a defensive position beside Lilith, pale eyes hard. "You should listen to the angel."

"Or you should listen to me you lousy son of b***h!" A familiar voice growled suddenly near. Cain came snarling, fist out to catch the woman in the face. A flame was already burning in his fist much like the situation where he had once dealt with Abel. "GET OUT!" He roared in his terrible voice, between them and his sister.

((hahaha, there we go. Cain will be more helpful than Saul or Talen.. hahaha, though they did try... for the record!... We should give them names... BUT YEAH. LOOK AT CAIN. BEING ALL... NOBLE. Ha.))

The woman seemed absolutely delighted when everyone moved to protect Lilith. "Look. At. THIS. You've gained quite a pack, huh Lil' Lily? How adorable! All trying to defend you when you could care less about what happened to them."

"You're putting words in my mouth." Lilith said dryly, her fist still held by the woman's pale hands.

"I am. But they words are correct, aren't they? You CAN'T care about them! Even if you TRIED." The woman's lips curled a bit more.

Lilith yanked her fist away from the strange woman, if a look of pain could be seen on her face, it would have been...if she had felt pain.

At Saul's comment, the woman tilted her head towards him and then towards Abel. "Why? I've never listened to those feathered things before. Why start now?" She let out a strange giggle just before her head turned again as she heard Cain. Her mouth opened with laughter when the angry man hit her in the side of her jaw. She turned with the blow, laughter peeling into the cold air.

As she turned back around she clapped her hands together. "CAIN!" She screamed with a mixture of rage and excitement. "Oh, I would leave, with all that anger in your voice, who WOULDN'T. But you see, you and your sister are the reason we are here. To take you back where you belong. It's been far too long to just let you dilly dally up here with these disgusting humans. A shame really." She shook her head slowly "Don't you ever tire of being around your sister? I mean look at her. She's empty. Even if you actually wanted her to love you, there's nothing in her to do it with." Her smile crept slowly back on her lips and she stepped closer to Cain.

Abel felt his stomach twist into a knot. "Please. Leave." He said again and the woman let out that giggle again. She grabbed Abel's collar and yanked him towards her. He gasped and started to pull away before she pulled him and kissed him on the lips. Abel felt his head darken and his heart ache tremendously. He pushed at her frantically until finally he shoved her with all his strength, sending both of them reeling backwards, one of them still laughing, the other gagging.

"You taste like heaven." She said as she straightened herself up, putting a hand to her wide, full lips. "I HATE it."

Abel was pretty sure she tasted like hell...but he didn't know what that tasted like. So instead he was sure she tasted like something awful.

((Consistency... Yeah. I failed... but I did manage to finish a paper instead! Here we go. POST BEFORE CLASS.))

Saul was rather liking this woman less and less by the minute. He retained his rather cool nature, but the more she said the more he felt an unfamiliar form of anger within him. His eyes were growing hard.

"Stop." He said, drawing himself up closer beside Lilith. And maybe he just didn't want to hear these things because they were things he was fearful to hear all along. He didn't want to hear they were true. It couldn't be true, could it? He knew there was something in Lilith that she wasn't even entirely able to see herself, but he could. Hearing that even then in his head and he sounded delusional to himself. He felt his heart clench.

And he wanted to say more. His mouth was full of angry words, but he swallowed them down as she spoke to him and quickly turned her attention onto more pressing matters, matters with fists and flames. Cain was smirking mirthlessly after he'd struck her, his eyes flickering dangerously at her laughter. He cracked the knuckles on the hand he used to strike her with and stood back.

"You haven't changed a BIT! All words, no play. You're just as boring as you ever were." He snarled and his eyes flickered back at her companion. "You need to be more like Uriel over there. Quiet as the grave."

Uriel's amber eyes flickered up and fixed on Cain.

"You haven't changed either." Cain said quietly and then looked at Talen. "You opened your TRAP, didn't you? s**t, Talen, get Saul and get the hell out of here."

Talen's face turned into an annoyed expression. "I'm not going to just-"

"You're NO HELP here. Uriel, let the human GO." Cain demanded.

Uriel released Talen without changing expression. "You've changed." He said in a voice as empty as his eyes.

Cain bristled. "I liked it better when you didn't speak."

((hahaha, I was gonna have Uriel talk to your girl, but I have no idea what her name is. NEXT POST. NEXT POST. He's so chill. SO CHILL.))

The woman smirked at Cain as he told her she was boring. "Ah. That hurts, sweet heart." She put a hand to her chest and frowned as if she was truly hurt. "Those painful words coming from such handsome lips, if only I cared." She let go of her chest and glanced at Uriel. "If I'm boring, he's the definition of boring. But you know, I'd rather have him as my partner than either of you. Trying to make good when you're permanently punished, never to get redeemed. Stop trying, it's worthless."

Abel took a step towards her, eyes narrowing. "Nothing is worthless. If they want it enough, it will happen." He said, swallowing any hesitation he felt in standing up to these people. "Don't lie to them...umm..."

The woman laughed a little, "My name is Odjit. And I am not the liar here, angel. We both know that my kind has never gotten a second chance. We were rotten before we died, we are rotten after we die. Just look at Cain over there. He's always been ugly. Nothing is going to change that. I'VE always been ugly too."

"That's not true! Cain's changed...your friend said it too. They both have..." He paused, looking at Cain briefly before he heard Odjit giggle. "It's true...I don't lie."

"Now THAT is a lie. I can see it in your beautiful blue eyes. Your life is built on deceit. And the only demon who's ever gotten a second chance is that hypocritical woman you angels have as your slave. I'd rather be in hell than be in her position."

"Stop talking." Lilith finally said, moving away from Saul. "I'm bored."

"Then hit me." Odjit said, frowning, her smile gone. "Or would you rather act so high and mighty for your stupid dog there at your side? If you're so BORED. Do something, b***h."

Lilith stared at her with that blank, cold glare. After a split second Lilith threw out her hand so fast that the movement was hardly detected. The next second her hand was grasping onto Odjit's face and throwing her against the wall. Her eyes were glowing an empty bright green and her fingers were digging into the woman's skin. Black blood started to form around the indention.

"That's more like it." Odjit mumbled and thrust her leg up, kneeing Lilith in the stomach and then shoving her back, causing Lilith to fall onto the ground. With her glasses gone, one eye was revealed. She had a dark circle under her eye, which was a milky shade of red, her pupil was a thin slit and the skin around her eye was mottled and wrinkled like a healed burn, though some skin was actually pulled away, making her eye seem especially large and round.

Abel was frozen. He wasn't sure what he was supposed to do. He wanted to help Lilith, but at the same time, if he moved from Talen he was afraid something would happen to him. He also didn't want to fight. He took a step back and grabbed Talen's shoulder. "You and Saul should go..." He said, voice unsteady. "Call Gabriel or Mei...

((Hahaha. I strangely like Odjit...and hate her at the same time.

By the way, Odjit is an Egyptian name meaning wicked. Hahaha.))

((OKAY. HERE WE GO. And oh man. We had epic snow here. It was nuts. Two days of classes cancelled. It was WOAH. And supposedly there is another storm coming on SUNDAY. I swear, every Valentine's day. EVERY. SINGLE YEAR. Well... at least this is the third year in a row.

Whaaaat.))

Cain clenched both his fists and snarled at her remark, but Abel spoke in his stead. His angry eyes roved over to the angel and smoldered, but quickly they were on the female demon again. He let a barking laugh escape him.

"Yeah. I'm a real b*****d. I know it and I know one day they'll take me back to where I belong." He seemed fearless in this. "But not Lilith. I told her this once, but it's me who belongs there. Never her. You're right. Me and you." He growled a laugh, a humorless snicker. "We match." At Abel's words he seemed sort of startled, then surprised and then his face wrinkled in disgust. He shook his head as Odjit giggled at his expense.

Talen narrowed his eyes, more so at her remark. "What..." He began, but never did get to ask her just what she meant. Liith was speaking again, wanting this conversation to be finished and what happened next startled both Talen and Saul together.

Uriel watched the scene from the sideline, almost uninterested, but his eyes were sharp on Lilith. Cain was grinning viciously, but then bellowing in rage as Odjit struck her back. Saul moved to help her, but Cain was there first, face contorted with a snarl. Flames licked up his arms to his elbows, cracking and snapping in the cold air.

Talen glanced at Abel only one time and without a word nodded and looked over at Saul. They both knew they didn't want to go, but they knew (or at least Saul knew) they'd be more helpful away from the scene.

"Be careful." Talen said before he took off running, feeling Uriel's eyes cold on his back as they fled.

Cain watched them go and did not turn back to Odjit until they had gone. He cracked his knuckles hard in either fist. "Not gonna work this out the easy way, huh? Good. I ******** hate talking. I just wanna beat the ever loving s**t out of you!" He roared and rushed forward, flames expanding around him, his demon features making themselves apparent. He was stopped quite short however by Uriel in front of him. Cain had his fist cocked, his feet locked in a striking position, but he did not complete the movement, just glared hard at the demon in front of him. From Uriel's shoulder blades dark terrible wings had sprouted. His face was as heavy and blank as ever, wings spread out before his partner.

"I'll give you one chance to just come with us." Uriel said. His eyes were on Lilith.

((hahaha, I dunno what Uriel's deal is. He's weird.))

Abel watched Talen and Saul leave, he felt a lot better knowing they were gone, out of harms way, or out of these people's harm. He looked back over to the demons who were conversing. His eyes were trained on Uriel when he moved.

Odjit moved with excitement at Cain's obvious anger. She let out a high pitched giggle and she raised her hands into the air. "You know me, I love taking the hard road. It's the most fun." She sneered at him and took a step back as Cain moved, she then swirled her foot, the ground underneath her trembled, pebbles shifting with the movement of her foot. She froze when Uriel moved in front of her and Cain and she let out a frustrated scream before settling back and glaring at the back of her partner's head.

"What the ********, Uriel." Odjit growled, voice deep and rough. "We were just having fun." She began and then breathed out heavily with annoyance.

Lilith stayed where she was, staring at everyone with an unamused, cold gaze.

"No." Abel said suddenly and Odjit glanced at him. The angel was moving close to them. "I won't let you take them. If you are so bent on taking them, you'll have to go through me." He swallowed and tried to remain steady.

"Well, you should be careful what you ask for. I'd LOVE destroying that beautiful face of yours." She smirked devilishly at him. "Uriel, move. If the angel wants us to go through him, let's do it. I haven't had my hands on his kind in ages. It'd be a riot." She started to laugh, her eye widening with glee.

Abel furrowed his brows and narrowed his eyes. "I'd rather not fight..." He said quietly but Odjit was still laughing.

((I. Suck. I really do. Valentine's day weekend on top of all THESE AWESOME SNOW DAYS I'VE BEEN GETTING. I've been lazy. Don't. Hate me. *laughs*))

Uriel didn't seem at all bothered by Odjit's scream, as little as anything seemed to bother him. Even the flames that Cain gave off seemed to have little effect on him. His eyes were fixed pointedly on Lilith.

"Uriel has you on a short leash, don't he?" Cain mocked from his other side, sneering and snarling.

Uriel's eyes flickered briefly at Cain, but then he was looking at Abel as he spoke. This answer seemed to be enough for him. He lowered his wings and moved aside. Cain snarled back at Abel.

"You're a MORON, angel. Of course you'll have to fight now. Don't you know who you're DEALING WITH?" He clenched his fists. "You should have kept that mouth of yours shut."

"He's mine." Uriel said simply and in a single movement was before the angel, hand at his neck. "I want this one." He said in a voice that could only be directed at Odjit. "You can have the others, but I want the angel."

"LEAVE THE ANGEL OUT OF THIS!" Cain bellowed, lost in his familiar old temper. The frozen ground beneath him steamed and cracked. "Before I lose it." He warned once and once only. He fixed his hard eyes on Odjit. "Call off that b*****d! CALL HIM OFF!"

((hahaha, oh. god. He... I don't understand him. haha, I really don't.))

Odjit growled at Cain's comment and she spit towards him. "He has no leash on me." She narrowed her eye at him and flickered her gaze at Abel as Uriel stopped and looked at the angel. "No!" Odjit yelled at Uriel. "He's mine! You always get the fun ones! Why do I get these stupid ********?" She growled.

Abel looked at Cain. "I don't know how..." He responded but stopped when Uriel grabbed him by the neck. Abel opened his mouth and drew in a breath, eyes narrowing. "You should just stop now..." Abel began, hands grabbing onto Uriel's arms as he winced.

Odjit twisted her head slowly back over to Cain and Lilith when he told her to call Uriel off. "So now I am the one that's holding the end of the leash? You should make up your God damned mind." She said and started to laugh out loud when the ground cracked. She clapped her hands together. "I do what I want. Right now I want to taste your pain...both of you." She stepped forward and the shadows around her licked her legs. The ground vibrated.

Lilith took a couple steps in front of Cain. Before she had a chance to move Odjit grabbed both her arms and tore the gloves off. Lilith remained still, glancing down. The skin on her arms seemed frozen and transparent. Muscle and veins could easily be seen below the icy surface. Odjit let out a shrill squeal of delight before back handing her. When Lilith hit the ground shadows threw themselves onto Lilith as she kicked and started to try to get them off.

She then leaped at Cain, mouth opened wide, sharp teeth glinting. The shadows followed after her, some starting to grasp at Cain's feet.
