"Alright." Raine grinned as she entered the house. Her smile disappeared in astonishment. "Wow, Blake!" She whispered as she looked over everything, and even dared to walk over and touch some of the furniture. It was amazing!
"It really seems like a cozy place to live." Commented Rain shyly as she looked over the living room. Right now she was looking down in the fireplace, absorbing the faint heat that came off of the coals. But suddenly her tail twitched in curiosity, "Now for the big test~" She looked over at Blake and smiled.
She had noticed the kitchen too and was heading towards it as she spoke. "Can I see what ingredients you have in the kitchen? I mean- that way I can know what to bring from my supplies." If he didn't have much for cooking wise, Raine knew that she could bring over her supplies and herbs.

Blake’s chest puffed up proudly as Raine complimented the home. It was small enough to be called cozy, but it wasn’t crowded by any means. Though, maybe since Raine was here, he would add on to it?
At the mention of the kitchen, Blake winced slightly. His kitchen consisted mostly of basics like bread, cheese and meat he had already dried and stored, and some semi-fresh vegetables. Most of his herbs consisted of what he used to dry and preserve what he hunted and caught. Besides, he needed to find a day for the market. “If you dare.” He said, turning his attention bashfully to the low fireplace, moving the grate and adding a bit of wood to get a fire going. While at it, he glanced at a door off to the side in that main room. Nina was probably in there, but doing what?

"I guess I do." Replied Raine softly before going over the shelves and sorting through the supplies. It wasn't that bad really - all the basics were there. So she was satisfied, though already in her mind a list of things that she could bring from her own home was written out.
"You passed mostly~" Commented Raine warmly as she came back towards Blake. Her gaze swept over the room. Where had Nina gone? Shyness kept her from asking about Nina, instead she looked back to Blake. "Anything else I need to see?"

"Mostly?" He asked, chuckling softly as he stood back up. "Anything else..." He said softly to himself, looking around. "Well, I guess the bedroom." Blake walked over to the door he had been looking at, gave a soft knock and opened it. In it were two average sized beds, each with a chest on the end of it. But, no Nina.
Blake cocked his head. "Well, while your here, you can use my bed until I get another one for you. I'll stay on the couch."
Then another door opened, a closet that held summer items and things not used often. Out toppled Nina with something in her arms. "Wa-raine. For you!" She said, handing the elder female a small doll, one of the only ones she had. It was in good condition, a carved wolftauress in her prime, her head held proud. "Daddy got for me when I was little. You can have it until this becomes youwr home too. Bwave, like daddy says."

"Oh! But Blake-" Raine flushed and shook her head, "I couldn't....I mean the couch would be fine enough for me. Really." She sighed softly. He was being nice and she torn between worry about seeming rude to reject the offer or if she was intruding.
Her worried look was quickly replaced with a warm smile as Nina ran up to her. "For me?" Raine blinked in surprise. "Re-really, Nina?" She turned the wolftaur doll in her hands and looked down at the child. "Are you sure-"
Still she couldn't help but to smile at the rest of it. "So I'm borrowing it then?" She asked softly before she scooped Nina in her arms for a warm hug. "Oh, Nina! You're such a sweetie!"

"Sweetie!" She repeated with a giggle, again enjoying the warm embrace. With the doll out of the way, Nina clung to Raine's arm. "Sleepover!" She said happily at the idea of the female sleeping in the room. Blake would sleep on the couch whenever he was an overnight babysitter, giving the children the room to themselves.
Blake chuckled. "It won't be for too long. It's completely up to you though. I'll warn ya, if she's thinking sleepover, she's going to keep you up all night trying to play games and talk." He kicked a few things out of the way from the closet to grab a couple extra blankets for whoever got the couch. "Although, you sleep on the couch and she'll wait until I'm asleep to come out and wake you to talk."

"Sleepover?" Raine looked at Nina with curiosity. What did she mean by that? But her mind cleared as Blake commented. So it's like a game night! Or a girl's night only. She grinned at the added thought.
Dilemma showed in her eyes. To take the couch tonight or take it tomorrow and until they had another bed? Raine gazed at the living room in contemplation. Suddenly an idea came to her. A simple - childish kinda- idea but it would work. Winner gets the bed.
"Nina!" Raine looked eagerly to the child. "Do you know your numbers? Can you chose a number from one to ten? Don't say it out loud yet though, kay?"
She looked to Blake with a sheepish smile. "Pick your number, sir." She held up her fingers secretly showing that she chose four before turning back to Nina. "Did you chose?"

Nina cocked her head, bangs tipping into her eyes. "I know my numbers!" She said proudly, if not a little cocky about it. Biting her lip, she thought hard on a certain number. "Yep! I have one!"
Blake frowned, a little confused, though still nodded. "Okay." He said, waiting to see what Raine was planning. 'Five.' He said to himself. He had been tempted to say four as well, but figured it would be just too bratty.

Raine grinned happily. "Good girl!" She looked over to Blake and nodded. "So on the count of three we all say the numbers we picked."
What number would she pick? Raine smiled though her heart thumped heavily in her chest. Really she shouldn't be so worried about such a small matter. The wolftaur sighed softly though humor flickered in her eyes. To resort to such a trick in order to make a decision - Akemi would have laughed at her.
She shrugged before looking back over to Nina. Oh well. We all do things differently~
"Ready Nina? Let's go~" Raine began counting to three.
"Four."

He was so confused..... Had four been what she wanted him to say, or was that her number? "Four?" Blake said, or, asked, more wondering if he was doing it right than just letting it happen, changing his mind at the last moment. Turned out, it was her number. He looked up at the ceiling in embarrassment.
Nina clasped her hands together, curious about this new game. "*insert random number result here*!" She shrieked loudly. She looked between the adults. "Did I win?"

Raine flushed lightly. Oh. Hmm... The wolftaur finally laughed and nodded at Nina, "Ah, yes you won Nina!" She smiled warmly at the child. Her gaze went to Blake and she shrugged lightly. There wasn't anything to worry about. "I'll just take the bed for tonight, if that's okay." She replied softly before looking back to Nina.
"What does Nina want since she won?" Raine grinned at Nina. She figured she might as well give the 'winner' a prize.

Blake finally looked back at the girls and nodded. At least something had been accomplished. Though he had probably still done something wrong...
"Good. Looks like it worked out." He said, taking some of the blankets off the bed and laying the fresh bedding from the closet in their place. "Once you two are set, we should get to bed. Tomorrow will be a busy day, moving Raine's things in and searching for a new bed for her."
Nina tilted her head, giving her prize considerable thought. Suddenly, her ears perked, her eyes glittering for a second. Waiting until Blake left to fix the couch for himself, she leaned closer to Raine. "Something to hunt with. I'm big now, an' I wanna hunt soon."

"Alright, Blake." Raine nodded. "We'll get to work on getting set here." She smiled lightly, "I'll try to get us both to sleep before morning comes." Raine winked playfully at Nina.
But, oh she couldn't wait! Bringing in her stuff would mean she would have her own bedding and furs- that way she wouldn't feel bad about using any of Blake's. Better yet was the promise of her own kitchen and hunting supplies. The herbs, dried fruits, vegetables! Oh, she couldn't wait to cook for Blake and Nina. Raine nearly laughed from excitement. Would they like her unique cooking? Akemi and Riker had commented once that she was a good cook -just a bit unusual compared to most.
Raine's thoughts halted in surprise and she blinked at Nina. Hunting tool? The wolftaur smiled softly at Nina. A sensible girl - though it did surprise me. She thought before nodding. "We might find you something tomorrow, I'm sure." She whispered back.
Though Raine hoped Blake would be okay with her giving something like that to Nina. It wouldn't be anything big of course, probably just something that most pups that were to hunt got started with.

Nina practically shrieked happily. Finally she would be able to hunt too! Blake had never been too keen on teaching her how to hunt. Probably because he didn't know if females had to learn differently than males...
She watched Raine make up the bed, though didn't help much. She could do housework of the like, but preferred wrestling and running and watching others hunt.
Blake poked his head back into the room. "Are you hungry Raine? Tomorrow is food shopping day, so dinner'll mostly be meat I've caught already for tonight."

Raine smiled at Nina's enthusiasm. She remembered her own joy at the first promise of learning to hunt. She had been innocently humming while fixing the bed up and was startled by Blake.
"Oh!" Raine flushed lightly, how could she have forgotten about dinner? "That's fine, Blake." The wolftaur grinned, "I'm up for anything so that sounds good."
Raine peeked over at Nina. "Nina could you grab the end of this blanket?" She asked pointing over to the other side of the bed. "I want to smooth out the wrinkles but can't reach that far."
She paused sheepishly, "If you don't mind helping that is."
