I was in fith grade..on my way back from a field trip and my friend Tom let me listen to Chop Seuy! his sister introduced it to him..that was the first time I'd heard of them...I guess I was messed up from then on out..

and it was in the mornin and they played BYOB and i was like ******** yeah it was like 4 years ago ever sence i loved the band bought all their cd's
THEY ******** ROCK MY BLACK AND WHITE FUZZY SOCKS!!!!

i remember the first song i heard by SOAD was BYOB. At first I was like "WTF is this?!" but then I just HAD to hear it again cause it's one of those songs where they're crazy but you're completely addicted. So i heard it again and then i saw Toxicity where i totally got a crush on Daron Malakian... heart redface and then i saw Chop Suey! and later bought the Toxicity album followed by Mezmerize and Hypnotize. blaugh

Okay, this story is really lame...

I had been listening to 89X and they had been playing this one song that I though sounded really weird (BYOB). The next day I heard Hypnotized and fell in love. I would go around the house singing the wrong words to Hypnotized, something about fashioning reasons about suicide or something dumb. I listened to the shortend clips of the songs on iTunes. A couple days later I said to my friend David, "Hey! Did you hear that band? The one that sings Hypnotized?"
David: System of a Down? I love them, my favorite song is chop suey!
Me: ...Chop Suey? I've heard that(lie). I like She's Like Heroin(never heard it, lie).
David: Cool.
So after that, I kept listening to them and bought Hypnotized just to be able to talk about them with him. Lame, huh?

I was in the car with my ex. It was the first time he was driving me home, I think, and I immediately fell in love. We were cruisin down the road from then one with SOAD blasting.

Of course I remember. My friend insisted that I went to this website. It was the System website. I went on and instantly fell in love with their music. I got in s**t though, since I was listening to their music at my grandaparents house, had the music as loud as it could go, while they had company over. I didn`t really care though, that day changed my life. Since that day, all I listen to is hard core music.

well iwas spending the night at my friends house for my first time, and they started to listening to system and at that time i didnt like any kind of metal and i sadly admit... i hated it sweatdrop well after i started listening to it for a few days or weeeks(i cant remember cause this was a while ago) and i started to like it, then it started to become my faverite band, then i started liking metal and hating rap( i liked rap then) so thats when i first listened to/liked system!!! lol

in 3rd or 4th grade, i went over to a cousins house, they were blasting soad and i became addicted...
