As the tornado in the area dispersed, the Gobi jumped back several yards away from the academy and the other shinobis. He needed to strategize his best way of attacking and this annoyance at his nose was beggining to tire him. He scrapped his nose with his paw, the sharp nail almost grazing at the skin of his nose in order to not scratch himself. "You're right...I am afraid...afraid of what their destruction will do to nature. I was happily lying dormant...when you humans woke me from my slumber," the Gobi stated calmly as he began to gather enough chakra for his next attack, its tails standing high on end.

Kai's eyes grew wide as he saw the demon charging its next attack and cried out, "EVERYBODY MOVE!!!" He grabbed hold of the two closest survivors and charged his muscles with chakra so that he could take them to safety. He still couldn't move at his full speed but hopefully he would be able to get out of area before it was too late. He just hoped his friends would get away in time.

At that exact moment in a blur, the frame of Nindaime Mizukage Luo Ushio, Pride of the Mist, stood before the academy, his blade seeming to lay limp by his right side as the pure chakra between the two ruffled his robe. His aura began to slowly bloom with sapphire hues of chakra which seemed to sparkle in the faint light of the sun. His chakra was pure and controlled, simply asserting his right to speak to the demon with the flash of a bit of his strength. "And to what exactly do I owe the presence of the Gobi. What is it we have done to cause your awakening?" He knew an answer was a fifty/fifty chance of happening, but he asked none-the-less, making it clear if anyone was to be struck at first, it would be Luo.

Kanzuki saw the tails and heard Kai's scream, he quickly grabbed two of the wounded and forced charka into his legs for a massive jump, he caught up with Kai and began to run next to him, his only concern now was if Yamatano got out. Thats he he turned and saw Luo and he patted Kai on the shoulder," Hey take a look, it's Luo!" Kanzuki exclaimed happy to know that their Kage was not there to confront the beast.

Riku let go of the beast's fur to further run up his nose, struggling to keep his balance. Eventually the shaking and scratching threw Riku off of the beast, but he made sure that it would throw him towards the Gobi, rather than away. It was in that moment that Riku jumped and was flung towards the Gobi's right eye, where he bravely unsheathed the katana in his hands and attempted to drive it into the beast's eye, holding on to the handle to keep himself from falling.

Behind his Lord Fordon appeared silently. He fell into the fighting stance of the way of the silent Blade, ready to attack his lords bidding.

The eyes of the Gobi maintened its emerald glow as they squinched slightly. Suddenly a burst of wind would explode right before Riku, an Air Pocket Burst that would send him flying backwards rather than at the Gobi. He wouldn't expend an enormous amount on such a little ant...yet he needed to be careful. Even little ants can carry an enormous weight on their shoulders. "You humans have grown in number...if left unchecked, humans will overpopulate and destroy the earth itself. All nature, all animals, the very planet would be in danger. You and your war mongering race needs to be stopped at all costs..." the Gobi howled.

As Kanzuki reached a safe distance he turned to watch the fight and then faced Kai," I think we should just let Luo handel it, we'd just be in the way." Kanzuki said to Kai as he waited for a reply

Riku Yukimura

Riku was blasted away by Gobi's burst of wind, and because he hadn't learned any techniques yet he could do very little besides try to break his fall. He crashed hard through a nearby roof and fell through to land on a hard tile floor. Riku immediately pushed whatever debris had fallen on him away and tried to move but cringed. Two of his ribs were broken, another one or two were probably either cracked or bruised. A wound that Riku had recently recieved on his left arm had also opened up, and fresh blood ran down to the floor. Still, Riku pushed himself back on his feet, and suddenly he could see his own breath as the room he was in started to become very cold. Riku himself did not realize this at the time, however, as he was solely concentrating on how he might stop the Gobi from hurting more people. "Damn." he managed to cough out as he stagged through the door, back into the open street where the beast stood.

Yamatano then realized that he should probably leave, so as to not get in the Mizukage's way. Forcing a lot of chakra into his legs he beat it as fast as he could towards Kaizen and Kanzuki.
