My whole existence is flawed...

Morgance stared upon Kestral's winged display in awe. Her mouth was open and her eyes glistening. This made her look very much like a child in a candy store. The young angel looked over to her guardian who, although you couldn't tell by looking, was impressed as well. Her gaze once again fell upon Kestral. His silver wings casting a faint glow on her form. "Ah..."

Adrian chuckled at her ward's reaction to Kestral's wings. She looked up to Kestral and shouted. "Very impressive! I'll have to show you my true form sometime!" She winked before her wings burst from her back. The Seraphim looked over to Morgance who still hadn't released her wings, making a face at her. "Well? What are you waiting for?"

Morgance blushed. "Oh! Um..." She took one last look at Kestral's argentine appendages before closing her eyes as her glowing white wings materialized between her shoulders. She spread them half-span and waited for Adrian's cue. The General nodded and pumped her grand wings downward, thrusting herself into the sky. Morgance followed soon after.

They stayed distanced from each other and Kestral, so none of their wings would clash. Adrian was the first to speak, smiling as she did so. "What now, Lord Kestral?"

Menji had thrown his voulge in to an old dust wall he had used it as a diving board shooting him self on top of the building

Menji had peered around watching them move around unnoticed his arrival he stabbed his vougle beside him

"hmm thats weird i sense a holy presence "Menji said

Menji started looking where he sensed it

Ophelia stared off at the distance and looked at her hand.
She started to produce a flame that got brighter and hotter to the point it became dark as obsidian, hot enough to melt and cinder anything.

She made it suddenly disappear and started to follow pace with Hisakata flapping her wings but at a level with her.

“I dislike flaunting my power, dear. I only use it when needed. But I might as well watch too. “


Ophelia flew a little ahead as she spotted Opcapta in the distance watching the outskirts. She flew up behind him and wrapped her arms around him in what looked like a embrace. His face was still staring off in the distance emotionless as she leant in and whispered something in his ear.

Opcapta’s eye grew grey and flashed a tiny orange red light. As Ophelia let go of him as he charged towards the area. His form became a blur of shadow and his aura darted around a concrete pillar as he struck straight through it with his retractable blade causing it to crumble.

Ophelia smiled as she looked at the vamp girl who caught up.

“yes Ocpapta is such a dear, I found him long ago. A little clipped birdy. And now I’v mended him into something more. Something I offer to all who is loyal and desires it”


Ophelia started to play with her dark flame conjuring again.

She thought maybe she will want to burn something soon after wall. It’s hard holding such power and not letting it consume oneself.

Kestral laughed heartily at Adrian's remark.

"Well, if you are referring to their hair, yes. Anyone that is born of Kurai blood will have white hair and white eyes. This color signifies them as an elemental 'clean slate'. As they age, their hair darkens and becomes a silvery color, like mine. Their eyes, however, are the truly remarkable feature. As they study the elements as is a necessary part of our culture, their elemental affinity becomes prevalent in their eye color. Red for Fire, green for Wind, blue for Water, yellow for Thunder, orange or brown for Earth, cyan for Ice, white for Light, and black or purple for Dark. Sometimes, if they have an affinity for a particular fused element, should they be adept enough to fuse an element, their affinities' colors will muddle together or even mix. Mine are silver because I have an affinity towards Light and Dark energy. Xylar's, however, are silver because he has no affinity but is very adept with all elements." Kestral stated intellectually.

"And as for their physical appearances being so attractive, well that could simply be due to superior genetics." He smiled and laughed as he spoke.

Kestral then swooped down low, he nearly touched the sandy ground of the town as he descended. He flew the entire path of the town's center, then alighted on the steps of a tall, monolith-like building. The enormous doors creaked open as he walked from the steps, under the roof of the building and into the doors.

"What kept you?" asked a voice from beside Kestral as soon as he had entered the Temple. "I know you can fly faster than even myself. Why not show these angels exactly what they are dealing with? Let them see why the Kurai are a force to be reckoned with?"

"Xylar... That's enough. I thought you'd done a fine job of that on the beach, or do you simply want to kill them?" Kestral growled at the man, Xylar had had his arms crossed and was leaning on the arch of the door with his foot against it's thick stonework. He proceeded to lift himself from the wall. Then turned towards Kestral with a serious expression on his face.

"You know why they are here." Xylar stated bluntly, "They are going to attempt to have us on their side."

"Yes, I do know this. What of it?" Kestral asked, knowingly.

"What are you going to tell them?" Xylar replied, looking down at the ground. He didn't want to hear the answer. Large scale combat frightened Xylar on a deep emotional level.

"If I knew, I would have told them on the beach." Kestral stated, then walked past Xylar and stood at the enormous, circular antechamber of the Kurai Temple. Dimly lit braziers with assorted colored flames lined the walls, casting strangely colored, dancing shadows onto their surroundings. Acolytes and Adepts adorned in white robes with elaborate silver trims walked, stood and talked in seemingly every direction of the antechamber. Kestral crossed his arms and awaited the angels' entry into the Temple.

"Ah, they arrive once more. Now I must welcome you to the Shir'an Kurai, or as you may call it, the Kurai Temple." Kestral announced, holding his arms out to goad the girls into looking around them. Statues of warriors in little more than clothing adorned the walls, elaborate as their clothing might have been.

"The Temple is where we Kurai study ourselves as the elemental conduits that we are. Kurai Island is special because of it's history but that is a story for another day. The Kurai are also special due to this fact, in that we have the power not only to use elements as an offensive, defensive and medicinal power, but we can also fuse those elements to make ourselves more powerful than anything you have ever encountered. Though many of us are adept in the art of Elemental Fusion, myself, Xylar, and my father are the only ones who have mastered the art. We can fuse any element with any other element and even fuse two already fused elements. It is a very complicated process, even for us, to understand. I do not expect you to grasp this power, having just encountered it. But let me simply say that there is almost nothing that can stand up to a Kurai Elemental Master. Hell, even one of our Adepts is a force to be reckoned with. A handful of them would likely turn the tides of your war." Kestral stated with an extreme pride. He turned around to the statue on his right.

"That is my father, Beleas Silverdust. The most powerful warrior the Kurai has ever seen. He could fuse elements on the spot and held a great number of them that not even I can comprehend. He was murdered in cold blood by the Kurai Traitor: Caruss. I'm still searching for the b*****d to this day." Kestral drifted a bit, staring at the statue. He then gasped a bit and snapped back.

"My apologies again. That is a story for another time." He chuckled, then shrugged slightly. "Do you have any questions about our culture, warriors, or anything else before we proceed into the main chamber?"

Luna crept slowly into the cave, she was scared, yet her instictive feline instinct of curiosity made her keep going....

When Luna was stressed she sang..................

Icy Spicy and Dicy are swimming in the sea
swimming along as happy as can be
then along comes Luna-Cat 1,2,3

Icy says to Spicy, "Oh, she's gonna eat me"
Spicey says to Dicy, "I'll be soo-she-mee"
Dicy says nothing because he does flee

Icy and Spicy are swimming in the sea
swimming along, as happy as can be
then along comes Luna-Cat 1,2,3

Icy says to spicy, "She does look kinda underfed"
Spicy is silent, he's ALREADY FLED!
.......
Icy the lonely tuna is swimming in the sea
a lonely little tuna, his friends did all flee
then along comes Luna-Cat to see what she can see

Icy the tuna says, "Youll never eat me!"
Luna-Cat responds "Well lets just wait and see"
"Come up and play if you wanna have some fun"
So Icy the tuna high tails it towards the sun.

Luna, the hungry cat, no tuna today
Icy, Spicy, Dicy have all gone away

"umm, hello", she whispered as she reached the cowering mass at the end of the cave.

((Like monsters and animals. There are very few humanoid entities left on earth, but not many. These are the people who were either cast from Heaven or Hell, or those who were not sent there when the world ended.))

By now Hisikata was ignoring the genral. Instead her attention was fixed on the town, her eyes scanning it.

I know this town. The people her were very kind to me when I stayed here. Hisikata spoke to herself loud enough for others to hear.

Hisikata eyes sadden suddenly, memories coming back. A tear almost escaped , but she held it back. She cursed herself,these thoughts were meanigless, it was a long time ago, eleven years to be exact.

I miss you. She called without realizing she had said it out loud.
