Hitachi did not have to be told twice to go and have a look around. He spun away from Keshet and ran to look through a rack of clothes while he toyed with the fabric of the black long coat he was absolutely in love with. How long he had searched for something like this. He had to remind himself that he was there for only a shirt but he would have to buy the coat as well and quite possibly a few others things....
"I'm going to go broke in this bloody store..." He muttered to himself. There was no way he was parting with it. Hitachi finally was able to find a shirt he was absolutely in love out of the many on the rack that he liked. He pulled out a black long sleeved shirt that had its shoulders torn much like his old red one. He threw it over his shoulder and quickly raced to the dressing to throw on the shirt over his thin tank top. He pulled the coat over the top and exited the dressing room. Standing in front of the mirror, he eyed his appearance carefully and reluctantly decided to remove the chain that connected his earrings to his lip ring and pocketed. It was a weird feeling to get used to but at least now he wouldn't have to worry about getting tangled in sometime. With his tail wagging happily, Hitachi turned from the mirror and went to go find Keshet to show him what he had found.

Coming out of the back was a skinny guy who was dressed like a goth and didn't quite fit in with the rest of the store. He immediately spotted Keshet and made his way to him. "Hey Keshet. Didn't expect to see you here so soon. Back to help out some more?" He asked before spotting Hitachi, "Or is it something more?" An eyebrow arched and Kevin gave Keshet a 'you sly dog' look.
Keshet laughed as Kevin came over. "I see you're not sticking to any one style still Kevin." He replied and shook his head, "Nah. My friend here needed a new shirt. Knew this was the best place for him." That's when he spotted Hitachi coming this was in a black long sleeved shirt with a black coat. "Nice clothes Hitachi." He said waving.

Hitachi paused when he saw a skinny man join Keshet and wondered who it was. Never one to be shy, Hitachi continued forward and joined Keshet and Kevin. He bowed dramatically to the other male, laughing as he did so.
"Ta!" He thanked, enjoying the attention and the compliment. He rubbed the sleeve of the coat against the side of his face and sighed. "It's so soft... you 'ave to feel it."
Realizing he was probably being rude, Hitachi flashed Kevin an apologetic smile and bowed his head slightly to him in greeting. "'ello there, sorry 'bout. This store is amazing."

Kevin was grinning from Keshet and Hitachi. "Of course. This is the best store in the entire town." He said shaking his head, "Uh-huh. A friend. Well your friend here would make one heck of a catch.... too bad for you."
He laughed at Hitachi rubbing the coat against his face. "Glad you like it..... and the store." He said getting a sly smile, "The coat is only $35 right now. Special sale that no one knows about...... well just about everyone knows about it but no one wants to come it for it. Our special Rocker/Punk days sale going on now." He sighed and turned to Keshet. "Now to figure out what to do next. I'm thinking of going to the prep and geek styles."
Keshet restrained himself from feeling the coat knowing full well that he'd regret it and try to possibly do more than that. "Kevin meet my friend Hitachi. Hitachi this is Keven, the store owner." He said rolling his eyes at the whole catch thing, "See the special thing about this store is it is constantly changing the styles it carries. At the beginning and end of each style coming into this store there's a special sale hosted. I guess Kevin decided to finally change it again." He looked at Kevin and pulled a face. "No pick something else."

Hitachi was not oblivious to the way Kevin was stressing the word 'friend' and the looks the man kept giving him and Keshet. He wasn't sure how to address it but he did laugh at his compliment about making one heck of a catch.
"Thanks..." He said between his laughter. He waved at Kevin when he was finally able to stifle his laughter. "Nice to meet ya Kevin and a special sale eh? Well I'm sold...I'm definitely taking the coat and shirt." As he began to fish in his pockets for the money he was carrying, he listened intently to Keshet's explanation about the store and how it changed depending on the season. He nodded as he listened and frowned at the mention of prep and geek styles. "I agree with Skittle 'ere. Why not something like mix match or something. Or pirates maybe..." He chuckled at that idea.

Kevin grinned. "Alright! Let's see.... 35 for the coat... the shirt.... what rack did you get it from?" He asked nodding at whatever Hitachi replies, "And 13 for the shirt..... that comes to 48 plus whatever tax comes to....." He went behind the counter and began messing with the register. "That'll be $50.88." He said tilting his head then smiling, "Pirates..... I should do cosplay! I mean Halloween is coming up.... and I'm sure that there's gotta be some kind of convention going on sometime soon."
Keshet was rolling his eyes at Kevin. "Can't wait to see the opening day outfit." He said leaning his back against the counter.
"I can't wait to see your own. You'll be here helping. Cherie isn't enough on a first day sale. You gotta help me out rainbow man!" Kevin replied with a grin, "I'll let you pick out any cosplay and you can keep it after working two days."
Keshet groaned. "Man...... why do I let you talk me into these things?!" He replied with a nod, "Deal."

Hitachi pulled out the bills in his pocket and counted them out as Kevin rang up the total for the stuff. He had been expecting it to be far more expensive than 50 bucks.
"'ere we are..." He said as he held out $55 for Kevin to take. He listened to Keshet and Kevin going back and forth over the idea of cosplaying for Halloween. Eventually Keshet gave in and Hitachi laughed.
"I don't know why you fought it when I know you probably enjoy it..." Hitachi remarked, lifting his arm to rub his face against the coat's sleeve again. "I'll 'ave to come see you in costume Kes."

Kevin took the $55 and put it in the register. He took out Hitachi's change and handed it to him. "Nice doing business with ya." He said grinning, "I'd like to see you in a bunny suit Keshet. Or......or...... crap. CHERIE! WHAT DID I SAY I WANTED TO SEE KESHET DRESSED UP AS?!" He looked towards the back and saw Cherie pop her head out.
"You wanted to see him as either a bunny or a pimp." She replied.
"Ah yes. The infamous pimp Keshet. Gotta get you into that outfit one of these days." Kevin said wistfully.
Keshet stared at Kevin and Hitachi blankly. Okay... yes he would enjoy cosplaying but dressing as a pimp?! He didn't think so. "Uh yeah... that's never happening Kev. And Hitachi there's no way I'm letting you see me in a costume!" He said turning red.

Hitachi pocketed the change and tried to fight his laughter at the mention of a bunny suit.
"I don't know, he might make an adorable bunny..." He offered as Kevin shouted in the back for Cherie. He was struggling to keep from laughing as he imagine Keshet in full bunny gear and completely lost it when they mentioned him being dressed up like a pimp. He clutched at his side as he laughed and he waved his hand at Keshet as he struggled to catch his breath. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh but that would be the most amazing thing to see you in. I'd want a picture of that one. 'ell, I'd even dress up with you."

"Not funny Kevin or Hitachi." Keshet said shaking his head, "So you'd dress up as a whore..... I want a picture of that." He grinned at that and waved to Kevin. "I'll see you around. Gotta go finish up the rest of the stuff we're here to do." He paused and waved Hitachi ahead of him. "Just remembered to ask... go on ahead Hitachi. I'll just be a sec."
Kevin wasn't laughing but he really did want to see Keshet dressed up in those outfits. "Nice meeting you Hitachi." He said looking at Keshet, "What did you want to ask?"

"I'd be the best looking whore you'd ever see." Hitachi chimed, still laughing. He nodded at Keshet's request and hurried merrily out of the front door. He glanced up at the darkening sky and sighed. He didn't know how long it had been since he had laughed so much. It felt nice to be able to smile freely again. He slipped his hands in his pockets and waited patiently for Keshet to come out so they could get something to eat.

It was Keshet's turn to laugh really hard. Once he calmed down a bit he looked at Kevin. "Okay.... Where's that new new shop that was coming here?" He asked, "Also... is the candy store closer to here or Auntie May's place?"
"Hm... that new store.... Ah. That one. It's on the other side of town. But I don't think they're open quite yet." Kevin replied growing serious, "I don't think it's a shop for you though. Got some fishy things from what I've seen. And the candy store is closer to Auntie if I remember correctly." He waved goodbye to Keshet and turned to discuss plans with Cherie.
Keshet nodded. "Thanks.... but I still gotta go check it out for myself." He said heading to the door, "See ya!" He walked outside and looked at Hitachi. "Ready to eat?"

Hitachi was off in his own thoughts and hadn't realized Keshet had exited from the store until he spoke. The blue haired anthro jumped and laughed at himself for scaring easily. He nodded at the question and rubbed his stomach.
"Of course I'm ready. I've been ready since we left Gov'nah's. Which way are we 'eaded Skittle...?" Hitachi glanced at Keshet and smirked. "Or should I say Keshet the pimp eh?"

Keshet laughed at making Hitachi jumped. "Jeez.... are you on edge with me around?" He asked playfully, "And we need to go this way my lovely money making lady." He nudged Hitachi and began walking to the right. He crossed the street and the next one before turning to the left. Just up ahead was the cafe they would eat at.

"Of course, I don't know when you'll randomly begin attacking me again." Hitachi replied with a shrug. He chuckled at the nudge and Keshet's remark and moved to walk a little ahead of him. He put his hands on his hip and began to walk and sway his hips like a woman would as she walked down the runway. He looked over his shoulder and threw a wink at Keshet before continuing on with his dramatic walk towards the cafe. "Oy, I think I see it now. Food, food, food 'ere I come!"
