Lee opened her eyes more, though not giving the boy's words too much thought. She was very, very happy right now. She doubted there was anything that could change that. "Hm? What's wrong...?" She mumbled, no urgency or concern in her voice.

Rory didn't look at her. He merely picked up the unopened package from the nightstand and showed it to her.

Lee's eye widened, her eyebrows slowly raising as she sat up. Eyes glued to the package in Rory's hand, she said nothing, staring as her mind raced. She looked from Rory his hand, his hand to Rory, not knowing what to think. "What... does this mean?" She had to ask, even though she was sure she already knew.

"Means w're both idiots an' your da's gonna shoot me when he finds out," Rory said, tossing the package on the nightstand and getting up. He headed off the the bathroom. Might as well still clean up.

Lee made noises as she wanted to speak, but couldn't quite get them to come out as actual words. "He... doesn't... have to know, though. Why would we tell him if nothing comes from it? You'll get your results back, and we'll know for sure if we should be worried." She looked at Rory as he walked away, desperation in her eyes. Don't tell her father. Tell anyone but him.

"I'm not worried tha' I got you sick," Rory called from the bathroom over the sound of the faucet running. "Be more worried you'll be makin' good on tha' promise o' bearin' me weans a little sooner than planned."

A small whimper was followed by the soft sounds of excited, panicked breathing as it came to Lee. She might, possibly have gotten pregnant. Oh, god, she was going to die. It felt like she was going to have a heart attack, like she was suffocating. Her breathing becoming more rapid, she looked down at her bare stomach, wondering if and how such a thing was even possible.

Rory came back and looked at Lee, noticing she was hyperventilating. He sat down beside her, hugging her against him. "Hey, now. Hey. E'en wi' me bein' more likely t' hae children, tha' donnae mean it's a hundred percent. W'll be alreet."

Clinging to the boy, her eyes remained wide open, her heart beating faster than ever. "But if it is! What'll we do, Rory? I can't... I can't have a kid." She shook her head, her voice desperate for some kind of solution. This was the worst possible thing that could happen to her, she was sure.

Lee nodded, though couldn't keep herself from being panicked. She took deep breaths, hiding her face in the boy's neck before pulling away, not wanting Rory to know how much it bothered her. It was an insult to him, wasn't it? That she was so against having his children right now. She nodded and smiled weakly back at him, trying to keep calm. She just wouldn't think about it was all.

Rory wouldn't be offended at all. He didn't want kids right now, either. Still, he could tell Lee was really scared and steeled himself to be calm for her. He made soothing noises, shushing her. "It's alreet, lover. Nae need t' worry reet now." He looked up, hearing someone pass by outside the bedroom door. "Be more worried about th' likelihood o' your mum burstin' in here an' seein' me jimmy again than th' chance your makin' a kid in there." He poked her gently in the tummy.

Honestly, she wouldn't mind curling up under the covers and sleeping the rest of the day away, not wanting to think about this until she could take a test and be sure. Still, she nodded at Rory, ignoring his cute poke to her belly and gathering her clothes, dressing herself on the off chance her mother decided to barge in again.

Rory pulled her clothes away from her, tossing them back on the floor as he got up. He headed to the door and locked it, then trotted back to the bed. "Tha' better?" He slid under the covers, holding them partly up for her to join him. "Come sleep awhile. Things will seem better when you wake."

Watching Rory as he pulled her clothes away and locked the door, she was about to tell him she really wasn't in the mood. She smiled softly to him as he held the blanket up for her, though, crawling in with him and holding him close, a sad smile on her lips as her mind continued to wander. If only Lauss were here. She could ask him what the probability was of her actually being pregnant. She was sure it was rather unlikely, but would have wanted to know precisely what the chances were.
