Tanto pressed his assault without answering Ty, leaving the choice to the wereboy. His sword flashed in an infinity-pattern, cleaving the air and - undoubtedly - the enemy.

As the red-armored enemy's gun turrets were blown apart by the slugs, he hopped back. As Isaac slid forward and slashed, the seat pulled back then slammed a knee forward into his face; it had changed direction impossibly fast. It probably had a weak time dilation effect, explaining why it was moving three times faster than it should have been.
The gunners backed away, ejecting their half-spent clips and loading in new ones that had very distinct red markings on them.
That couldn't be a good sign.
The rounds were deafeningly loud and powerfully magical: seen with the third eye, they glowed brightly; to Ty's nose, they reeked of... overcooked pasta? Even Carlyle could feel the raw power in them.
Tanto was blown backward by them, not horrifically injured but definitely damaged. One of them pulled a grenade from his belt and threw it in the corridor. It rapidly grew into a stone wall, blocking the corridor as they turned and blocking them from Subject 213.

Tanto was not used to being pushed back like this. Generally, the huge demon simply powered his way through things. Sure, he had faced opponents more powerful than himself, but not in several centuries. This new development was uncool with him.
He was leaking energy from his wounds, but he ignored that and stood anyway. Tanto began to lumber towards the wall, and the others realized as he hefted his claymore that he intended to smash his way through the wall. And, indeed, the sword began to shine a little as Tanto tried to power it up.
Isaac, in the meantime, reeled back from the strike, his nose pouring blood despite his augmentations. Though injured and disoriented, he raised his right arm, the left already clutching his face, and fired six shots at the armored enemy, turning off his REF as he did to allow Ridley to intervene.

The armor absorbed or deflected the bullets fairly effectively; none of the more sensitive mechanisms were exposed. Tanto cleaved through the wall straight down to the battery-like grenade from which the wall - apparently all-magic - derived its ontological inertia. It collapsed, leaving them facing a locked door as Ridley engaged the man in the red custom armor.

After ducking and rolling from Tanto's hefty slashes and determining that the chicken was perhaps not his primary target, Ty watched the giant demon get blasted backwards. He tried to dash after the fleeing Akai Ryu, but by that time the wall had gone up, so he managed to jar himself rather badly against it before Tanto sliced it right in half. Briefly, Ty considered helping out Ridley, but he knew his own strengths would do little good... unless...
But no. He shook his head. Not here, not yet. If one of them really needed help, he'd offer it, but for now, he knew that if he shot, he might hit Ridley and if he attacked, he'd likely just be in the way. So he bounced over to the door and examined it, discreetly sniffing for magical identity as he felt over it, scratching at the edges and in the cracks for clues on how to get through.

Still ignoring his wounds, Tanto took the time to shove Ty lightly out of the way (light for the Demon-Major still sent the relatively small were tumbling) as he raised his glowing sword again. He slammed it into the door, slashing from the top right corner to the bottom left.

The door reacted violently; before Ty could inform Tanto of the gunpowder-like smell on the door, a sign that probably indicated a trap, Tanto's strike detonated the trap. He flew down the hallway into the red armor, who hopped over him and through the smoke trail he left before delivering a falling elbow strike at Edward Ridley.

Tanto slammed into the far wall, a long way down, and slid to the floor, though he didn't make a noise of complaint. After a couple of seconds, he rose to his feet again and began to advance, heading back up the hall towards the red power armor.
Isaac, trying to protect Ridley, opened fire on the power armor in an attempt to force it to defend itself instead of attack.

Yarah, who'd mostly been defending the gun users, had been slowly moving forward in the fight. When the soldiers paused to shoot at Tanto, Yarah ran with all his might to get closer to the others. "You are injured," he stated rather bluntly to Tanto.
He grabbed the demon's arm and said, "Let me assist you." He started to heal the burns and physical wounds. The mana leakage would be rather annoying. "I have healed your physical wounds, but the mana problem will take time. Please stay still."

Tanto was laconically thankful for the healing, but he had certainly not asked for it. It was nice to have the burns and cuts gone, though he was still leaking mana. Tanto was not, however, used to accepting help from anyone, especially not in a battle. Demons were supposed to fight to be the most powerful, not assist other demons.
Logically, Tanto knew that he needed to be healed so that he could fight better. Even though he was not used to it, it would be in his best interest to allow the smaller Yarah to finish healing his mana leaks.
Oh well.
The mana leaks had already slowed, so Tanto pulled his arm away from Yarah. He refused to say thanks, so he began to move down the hall again, heading towards the exploded door.

Tanto's decision was a wise one; he felt as though his natural regeneration should be able to undo the worst of the damage before it caused any major problems.

Tanto had left before Yarah was finished. Instead of being angry, he turned to find someone else to help.
Ah, Ty was down. Might as well check on the were beast. "Have you sustained substantial injuries?" He looked the man over. Not too bad. I should continue after Tanto. "Your wounds are fine. Has anyone else been injured badly?" He'd not really been paying attention to the surroundings since he was busy protecting his own life. And then focusing on Tanto might have left me without the knowledge of who else has been hurt.

Edward slid back from the charging Akai Ryu cultist and drew his sword halfway, locking the sheath in place and bracing its hilt against the ground - with the tip of the sheath pointed straight at the cultist's face. Or faceplate. Or helmet. Whatever it had. The point was it was about to eat a long hard p...

The armor descended on the sword's sheath, committed to an attack only complete gravitational failure could stop.
That, or taking a strongly braced sword, upon which its helmet's faceplate shattered, crushing its face as its time dilation effect turned against it, resulting in a messy splattering of ichor upon Edward. The body twitched twice and stopped moving entirely.
The intruders into the Akai Ryu compound felt a dull pounding in the back of their skulls.
Subjects 14, 87, 93, 114, and 139, report to entry area four to eliminate intruders.
Well, on the plus side it looked like the trap on the door had burnt its power up for the harm it had done to Tanto.

Tanto lumbered up to the door and looked through, sword ready and glowing.
Isaac, in the meantime, grew nervous. "Th-they're s-s-sending reinforcements? Sp-special ones t-too, it sounds l-like. W-we should leave..." He looked around for an exit.
