Clarissa tried to get her blush under control. "W-well, he seemed really eager to help. I don't know why though. I mean, he could have helped Elizabeth or Helena." He never did really answer her when asking about it, now that she looked back. "I think he took me away from the fighting at one point. And he let me chase him to try and wear me out so the Hunger wouldn't affect anyone." Saieve was smiling, and she didn't understand why.

"So what did the Host-Agent say?" She wondered what the Agent was like. And she was also curious as to what the Agent taught Saieve.

Saieve chuckled, he knew his brother well enough to know that he had more than a simple interest in Clarissa. Also, seeing Clarissa's red cheeks may have suggests the same for her. As always, Fin, great timing, trying to woo a woman in the middle of a war.
He smiled and shook his head.

"Well," he started off quietly, "He go me started on controlling my hunger."

"Oh?" She was surprised. After seeing R and M, she figured A would be no different. But to teach a "failure" control? That was unusual. "I'm happy for you," she smiled. She was desperate to learn, but he said it quietly, so there had to be a reason he didn't want others to know. I can ask him later when we have more privacy.

A thought occured to her. "You know, I wonder why your brother didn't help Elizabeth out. She was fighting that hispanic girl. I'm not sure what power the woman has, but she's a very good fighter." At least, when she's not under a surprise attack. Clarissa still felt slightly guilty for attacking Adela, but after seeing the girl continue to fight, she didn't know what to feel. I guess I'd need to know her better. If an Agent can actually be nice, then maybe those people can too.

"Thank you." Saieve said in return. Maybe later he could try to teach Clarissa what he could, but he was still learning himself, Saieve wasn't even sure if he could teach her. A had said everyone was different.

Saieve became more alert at the mention of a Hispanic girl, I think I know you she's talking about...I remember seeing her... Saieve flashed back to the first conflict, he hadn't done much fighting, he was too busy studying the enemy. A certain Hispanic woman in paticular. He blushed slighty, "I think I know who you're talking about, maybe he just felt like he neede to help you instead."

"No, seriously. Is something wrong? Is there something on my face?" Elizabeth continued to the unresponsive Nihilites, who glanced at each other nervously.

A solid half of her face was smeared with blood.

Well now. Is that a blush I see? Saieve had been trying to embarrass Clarissa before. I've never had someone try to help me, even in my worst moments. It felt strange. I don't know how to react to that kind of situation! But now? Saieve was the one blushing, and she was going to take her chances at it. "Oh? What else did you notice about that girl? Did you find out what her power was?" Or were you paying attention to something else? She had a tiny smile on her face. Saieve's blush wasn't leaving his face.

At Elizabeth's question, Clarissa turned to see what was the matter. Oh. I'm not sure how you could miss something like that. She carefully told the girl, "I think you might want to go take a shower. The whale blood seems to have gotten on you a bit." A bit was an understatement. The half bloodied face looked very scary; the fact Elizabeth didn't notice was scarier.

"Psshaw. They're getting so unnerved about that?" Elizabeth asked with a cheeky grin, sucking the blood off of one of her fingers.

Saieve cleared his throat, "Well..um...no, I didn't really notice her, uh, power..." he admitted, "There was too much going on for me to see." he quickly added as a cover for his previous hesitation.
He cleared his throat again and kept his hand raised to his chin. He could feel himself blushing. Dammit, he was a grown man, he shouldn't be blushing like a teenager.

Clarissa didn't know what to say towards Elizabeth. "I believe that's what is unnerving them, yes," she stumbled. "We should do our best to get along with them though. So maybe you could shower? I'm sure that would help smooth things over with them." She didn't want the bloodied girl to get angry with her; all she wanted was to have everyone work together. I hope she doesn't take it the wrong way.

She turned back to Saieve, with a tiny smile. Clarissa found herself enjoying the light conversation. Especially since there were probably few times that they'd be able to have light conversations. "So what did you notice about that girl?" She'd been curious - she knew about Schraeder's teleporting trick, Fin's run, and several other Sigil users' powers. However, she never got to pay attention to the girl. If Saieve can't tell me, I could always ask Helena or Elizabeth. I think they were fighting her in this battle.

Other than how she looks? Saieve thought to himself, "Well," Saieve said, "Now that I think of it, she wasn't exactly hitting hard, I could tell by the way she pulled her punches, but she was still doing some heavy damage, what kind of sigil does that? She was also pretty, uh... flexible, maybe a gymnast? "

Korina folded her arms. "You, Elizabeth, right? Hurry up and get cleaned off. Stop freakin' my friends out so we can accomplish something. You wanna eat something human? Then get set, we're got things to do! Cut it with the chitchat unless you can do that and get ready too. The Thief's lack of presence doesn't mean we can sit around."

"All right, all right, going," Elizabeth grumbled, leaving to shower.

Do I want to eat a human? The fact that she couldn't answer that question in any certain way scared her a little.

Both Clarissa and Saieve were ready, so they didn't need to do anything else. Other than chat. And wait for the other Hosts.

That said, Clarissa turned to keep talking to Saieve. "She was pretty thin, wasn't she? She might be a gymnast. Hmm. Maybe she has super strength?" That was first power that came to mind.
PostPosted: Fri Oct 16, 2009 9:41 pm

"Thin, yeah." Saieve may have been thinking of the curves she did have rather than the ones she didn't, "Maybe, I wonder if Elizabeth would know."

Helena disappeared into the second room for a quick shower and change. Again, she opted for practicality and comfortability, and it was essentially the exact same outfit as before, sans blood stains. She passed Elizabeth on her way out the door. She stopped beside her with a smile, ran a finger over the girl's cheek and then held it up as evidence to her point: "You've got some blood on you." The artist offered another smile before making her way through the door, sucking the blood of her finger when she thought no one was looking. I wish I had canvas. That would have been lovely.

Once in the main room, she overheard Saieve's and Clarissa's conversation and was quick to interject. "It's not super strength," Grissom began. "She could both increase the pain delivered with each strike and heal anything she touched as well. I put a blade in her gut. She responded by punching me in the face and stumbled away to recuperate. It must be something pertaining to biological manipulation." Her tone was very level. She was no longer bothered by whatever had struck an emotional cord earlier, and indeed seemed to have recovered entirely from whatever ailed her. She was definitely feeling refreshed.
