If i have said a rude or un called for thing then i apologize to all levels, the only reason that i would have for saying those things would be that i was frustrated at someone on here or i had a bad encounter with someone of another religious faith

Thankies so muches!

Hmm in a sense I could agree with that, but not entirely. Like i could try and pursade you to belive what I belive but that dosn't mean I should hold a gun to your head andmake you say it or get people to shout at you and be mean to you till you do it. That is one way but it isn't the right thing to do. If you say no i just say your blood isn't on my hands and get on with life. Ya kno?

Indeed, Drizzt. However I wish to make two points:

1: Mad God didn't upset me with the exception when he gave in what is in my mind, (as well as many others such as everyone who is a Christian, Catholic, and other religions that don't affiliate with either) false information about Jesus. And even though he did, I'm almost glad he did it, because it IS an opposing view and if it weren't for his self defensiveness he would have great post.

2: As were I encourage unity, fellowship, love, and the sharing of information and personal stories here, I also greatly encourage conflict of the intellectual nature. I want more people like Mad God in this thread, because it makes things interesting.

So, that's all I have to say on that, if anyone has anything else to discuss, I'll be happy to hear it.

In many cases, we did have proof, it was a lack of others to accept the proof which was given.

Not pointing fingers at any one in particular, but I have gone out of my way to provide evidence to the claims I've made, If some people cannot accept arguments which contain proof, and toss it aside as just, 'you have no proof' that's their fault, not ours.

the only evidence you guys have of all the things youre jesus did is a silly little book that no one can rely on for the truth, yes they can find histroical and cultural refrences in it but those are usually hard to find under all the rubble

so youre going to go up to one of the people who was in charge of youre jesus death and say that they are wring and that youre right, i dont think so sense those people watched him his whole life and if you ever met them you could probably ask them for the story of his true life

oops here i go again, what is it with me and not being able to post something without it sounding offensive

Out of curiosity...

What proof is this, if you do not mind my asking?

I really hope that the Torch Alliance suceeds in breaking the Veil and teaches you guys a lesson when they invade earth on 2012 stare .

anyway proof is SOLID evidence that makes soemthing true, proof can be proven wrong but christianity has absoloutly no SOLID evidence beyond "oh look this tree grows this way so my religion is true" i swear even some sadistic death cult would make more snese and have more reason behind its beliefs then christianity would stare

The fun thing is that no one KNOWS if Christianity is the TRUE way. That's what pisses me off the most.
Personally, I feel in my heart that it's right because my boyfriend and I had encounters from both side of the spectrum. However I'm not going to tell others that it is for a fact because they could just say I could be making it all up. (although in my b/f's case he's got a witness to vouch for him but still..)
I'd say why I believe what I believe but other than that it's up to the other person.

there is no right faith >.>

everyone candoes have there own faith and you have no right to say that yours is better then everyone elses

corrected and emphasized =]

There is no one true faith. Everyone has a faith and the faith they have gives them their own personal reason for existence.

By accepting, and respecting, everyone's decisions to their faith, we could probably end half the wars that will ever take place in the future before they even start.

I think any religion is ok as long as the religion does not harm innocent people and does not force an unwanted lifestyle on unrelated individuals.

- - - below is not related with above - - -

I saw on the first page the homosexuality arguments, and it just makes me sad. Their legal rights are being restricted to to religious binding and that pisses me off. These people don't want to be bound before god. They probably don't give a rat's a** if they are joined in holy matrimony before god. These people have been denied by the law to receive items left to them from their significant others. They are being denied the right to act as the power of attorney for their significant others in medical situations. That is wrong.

A lot of Christians I know have said If they want to be gay let them be gay. You accept them as gay, but refuse to let them make their relationship legal because your church says no? Ever heard of separation of church and state.

My favorite quote ever::
I keep my government out of your religion, get your religion the ******** out of my government!

These people have a right to legally joint their possessions and bills and finances. But they cannot because of the Christians screaming no for gay marriage.

You can't control who you like, what you like, and what turns you on. It's genetically encoded.

I don't choose to find asians attractive, I didn't choose to like certain sexual acts (which by the by, any sexual position other than missionary is against god's word too - beware Christians)... EVERYONE has some fetish or some quirk or trait that turns them on. Some people it's piercings, some people its sodomy, some like pain, and some like feet. I'm sure they didn't complete a checklist of the things they want to be attracted to.

Just like you don't like specific foods or specific types of clothes. Or why you find some people more attractive than others.

Yes, they choose to be gay as in acting on what they like.

But if they chose to not act on that, they would only be miserable.

That's like loving sweet foods, but never allowing yourself to eat them again even though so many are right in front of you.

Getting the point? It's not fair to make them live their lives miserably just because it goes against your beliefs. You are not in the relationship so but out and let these people be joined together.
