Ruby St.Claire Kat gave Jeffery a slightly mocking wave, then turned to Rook with a smirk. "Got a little rough in a makeout session. Possibly had to do with powers, but I'm not sure yet." She glanced Rook up and down, and then shook her head with a slight sigh, "You look like you're going to offer me drugs." Rook chuckled at the explaination. "Well then, sounds like a riot. So, can I walk you to class?"

"I'll be late, after school, so you know. I'm intending to do cheerleader tryouts."

At lunch, Kat made her way towards the school library, hoping to hop onto the net for a brief period of time. Keeping track of the local news and the various phenomena found within was rather helpful.

Samuel was in the library for second lunch (( : P)), using one of the computers to look up anything he could on things that could have been super-powered events in St. Eva or the world in the recent years.

Kat, grateful to have someone to interact with slowed her steps as she passed by Sam's computer, making note of the search results on his screen. She slowed to a stop and with quiet footsteps moved up behind him, leaning over his shoulder, "Doing research for a comicbook?"

Sam jumped slightly, turning his head. "Uh, yeah. Some art assignment or something." He said, casually minimizing the window.

Kat smiled, leaning back a bit. "You don't seem the artsy type" She casually poked his arm, "unless the brushes you're lifting happen to be weighted." She paused, chewing on her inner lip, "I could see you in metal working, maybe."

"You always this quick, or did you have that line prepared? And what makes you think I'm worried about being teased?" He smiled, shutting down the computer.

Kat smiled, "Nice hat, by the way, it's cute." "Who said I was hiding?" He smiled as she noted the hat, taking the brim of it in between two fingers. "Thank you, I'm quite fond of it." He sighed inwardly, figuring he wasn't going to get back to his search. "So what're you doing in the library? Looking for books?"
