Well, for 5th-8th thing we did this point count.

The more points you got, the more play money you got. Points were given out depending on how many a book was worth/level and how well you did on the test after you read it.

And then our play money could be spent on Wednesdays in the library for prizes. And at the end of the year, anyone who got over 100 points that year got to go to a private party.

Most books were under five points though....rarely was there a book that was above that. (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and the ones written by Mark Twain were the only ones I think.)

We had the book-it program when I grew up too.

I just finished the 7th Harry Potter book. (for the first time... I bought it the day it came out... haha. Bought time I started it two weeks ago.)

Im probably going to start Pillars of the Earth (I think its called) It was on Operah's book club. Nothing was on TV and I stopped on her show and they were talking about this book and it sounded so... good! So I had my mom buy it for me lol

And I think I finally figured Alek out! *goes to edit his profile a lil bit*

OOC: Or not... lol

I've been reading a series called the Lost Fleet by Jack Cambell. It's a futuristic sci-fi kind of series. Very good reading if you ask me.

Also high on my list is the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. More of a fantasy magic kind of series if you've ever seen the TV shows. Another series that's good reading in my opinion.

My all time favorite is the Dark Tower Series by Stephen King. If you like sci-fi, not space like, then you'd honestly love this series. By far my favoritist read EVER. EEEEEEEEEEVER. Omg. I wanna go reread all 7 books. My favorite of the 7 was probably the last book, "The Dark Tower".

I'm currently reading two books, "The Zombie Survival Guide" by Max Brooks and "The Black Company" by Glen Cook.

*crawls out from under a rock*

And so the week begins again. You know you work too much when you're kids are closing your computer on you.... not good, not good. Must remember this in the future and not take on extra work.

On that note.... bad to the daily grind at the bill paying job. Hoping to be able to write at lunch today and catch myself the hell up again.... at least (and keep your fingers crossed) my insane hours will start to slow down over the next two weeks.... if not, I might have a break down. I am definitely NOT able to handle these hours anymore.
