Sam smiled a little when Joey said it wasnt just friendly. She couldnt help but feel a little desperate to be with him because she felt rejected by Atem. But she practically jumped when Atem yelled at Joey to shut up. she looked at him surprised and a bit confused. She didnt know why he reacted that way. Jealousy crossed her mind but she highly doubted that. She let go of Joey's hand anyway and tried to change the subject for Atem. "so, I know its childish but I want to make a big sandcastle tomorrow! haha..." she said to try and steer the conversation away.

Yugi blinked surprised but quite pleased when she did the same for him. He ate the sushi as she did hers and smiled. "Haha..." He laughed nervously. "We should head back now..." He said and got up, waiting for Akiko before heading back to the table. He sat down.

Tea imediately turned to Yugi when he returned to the table. "Hey! I just heard you guys were going to the beach tomorrow!" She said enthusiastically. She would not be left out!

"Huh? oh yeah we are..." Yugi said, still cheerfull.

Seto looked a bit troubled first when she said they could switch places. Thats not what he wanted. "Hn, no, I can handle it. Im more or less used to his stupidity. However ever since I told him I liked guys earlier he totally freaked out." He said both angrilly and dissapointedly. With so many emotions going through him he couldnt hide thm all like he usually does. His eyes widened slightly when she said she wanted to be with Joey. He felt threatened, she was a big risk with this. He faced her with narrow eyes and a challenging stance. "Good luck with that." He said almost threateningly. He was a bit taken back by her next comment, asking him to agree that Joey was handsome. "No, hes worthless." He mutteed, putting out his cig. He only saw one way out of all this. He moved closer and slinked his arm around her waist, smirking. "Joey is a loser. Why not go for me instead?" That kept her away from Joey and stopped Joey from being with her easily.

((No i dont really see my aunt very often but we might keep it now, everyone is getting attatched haha))

((haha Akikos post reminded me of when i went to the beach with my 3 year old sister this summer and we built a mermaid in the sand and some kid stepped on it on purpose and I told her kids who did that were rotten children and she still remembers and says it))

Sam grinned when Atem said he would help her. "Great! I can just see it now..." Sam said dreamilly, loving her castle idea cause it went right along with the princess and farytale stuff she loved. She was in the middle of picturing her perfect castle with her and Atem dressed up as a prince and princess. They were about to kiss and Akiko's giant foot came down and destroyed it all. She gasped and then laughed a little. "No way! I'll protect our castle!" She said challengingly but just friendly. She laughed again.

Yugi laughed along with the others and sweatdropped like Atem. Ah that was the lovely woman he loved, wanting to smash peoples sandcastles. It drove him crazy that everything he thought she did was cute as hell.

((Should I have Tea kiss him now?))

Tea lost yugi's attention again! She placed her hand on his shoulder and batted her eyelashes. "Cant I come along tomorrow Yugi?" She asked.

Yugi smiled at his friend and was about to say sure but then glanced at Akiko. "Um... I dont know Tea, its not my beach and..." before he could finish he felt Tea's lips pressed sweetly against his own. He froze, completely shocked.

It was a desperate move yes but that was only because she was desperate! She gave Yugi a small but a little too long kiss on the lips. he didnt kiss her back but she was still satisfied, seeing him freeze up and face red. "So can I? I want to spend the day with you?" She said, batting her eyelashes again.

Yugi stuttered. "S-s-sure Tea..."

"Gonna smash it like godzilla," she said giggling as she grabbed her drink. She started taking a drink of her water when Tea asked if she could go. Akiko instantly glanced over with her eyes. She liked Yugi's answer at first, because it was Sam and Seto's beach there was no way they would allow her to come. Everything seemed fine. However, the next thing she knew she saw Tea bending down and meeting up to Yugi's lips! They were kissing?! She went to put her drink down but it was like her whole body went numb, the glass slipped out of her hands and shattered on the ground. She just froze there, staring at the two of them.

"Yea Akiko, you better not smash the castle we're going to build. Haha, it's like a little kingdom," he said. It was such a simple thing for them to do and Sam seemed so excited about doing it. While she was visualizing her own fairytale like scene, he was picturing a much more..... intimate scene. He pictured the two of them on the beach during sunset. The warm breeze blowing through their hair. Sam in a bathing suit, skin glistened by the sun. It seemed all so perfect to him. However, his happy fantasy didn't last long. He was first brought back to reality when he saw Tea and Yugi kissing. He was defiantly brought back when he heard the loud shatter of a glass. What did he just miss? All he saw now was Tea's sneaky look, Yugi blushing, and Akiko looking practically horrified. He brought his hand to his forehead facepalming a little. This wasn't going to end well at all.

Joey looked a little shocked at Tea's actions as well, but in a much different way then the others. He just kind of stayed quiet and watched the others.

Akiko shook her head a little knowing that she froze up. She felt so stupid! How could she even think that he was interested? What killed her the most was this whole evening- dressing up and looking ridiculous doing so. And before- the sushi, sharing it, him even feeding her! She really thought..... he well, liked her. But obviously, she was wrong. She spun around and got up fro her chair, "Sorry....." she said apologizing for the glass. "I gotta go," she said rushing to the door. The embarrassment was overbearing, there was no way she could stay there and act normal. She didn't even notice Seto and Mai there outside. She walked right past them.

Mai saw how upset he was that Joey was supposedly homophobic. "Hmmm, perhaps we do," she said running her fingers through his hair. She went down to give him a kiss but stopped and put her finger over his lips. She smirked, "But I can tell you don't like me. I've been with plenty of men so far to tell who likes me and who doesn't." She then pulled away and looked at him. "I see it in your eyes," she added. She pulled away and turned slightly away from him, "No doubt you can have anybody you want. I suggest choosing someone you actually like." She then went to go inside the restaurant when suddenly Akiko practically stormed out. What was her problem? Mai didn't even have time to ask her, she was walking away from the place.

[[hee hee welcome back. How's college and the job search? I hear ya when it comes to having a job, I hope my substitute teaching thing goes through -.-' My friend is downloading some Yugioh episodes for me, I can't wait to get them :3]]

Akiko stopped for a moment just to try and calm down. She put her hands on her face, god she felt so stupid. She growled into her hands trying to relieve some aggravation. It was official, she hated that girl so much. Initially she was embarrassed and angry. Now she was becoming more upset then anything. She didn't know what to do, if she just went back home she would have to face Yugi there. If she went back, she would have to face him and everyone else. She couldn't help that she dropped the glass, her arms just went numb. But how would she explain that to them? She didn't notice Sam was following her. Akiko didn't walk very far, and she was still just standing there thinking about what to do.

Atem focused on Sam as she left after Akiko. Should he go with her too> No, she'd be fine. Besides, only reason she wanted to follow was to be with Sam. Better stay here make sure nothing else happened. "She left," he said to Yugi, "Sam's getting her." He couldn't be mad at his former hikari, nor could he make him feel guilty. He knew that he didn't do it intentionally. He knew that it was Tea that was at fault. Atem did have a reaction to what happened. He glared at Tea and said, "Happy now?" He looked away from her and took a sip of his drink. He was really get sick of this girl.

Joey was just kind of confused. Shouldn't he be happy that his friends kissed and may have feelings for each other? Somehow, he didn't feel all that great about it. Yugi used to like Tea, it made sense. But why did Akiko have to run off? It had to have been for some good reason, enough to get Sam to go after her. "So ahh...." he said trying to think, "that was interesting Tea.... Didn't realize you and Yugi had a thing for each other." He felt like that didn't come out right, he should be glad but instead he said it as if he would never expect the two to go out with each other. Before he could say anything else Kaiba stomped back into the place and asked what happened. Now he was questioning if things were ok with Sam, because Kaiba only really cared when his sister was involved. "Why are you looking at me? I didn't do anything," he said being truthful. "Uh.... I'm not really sure....erm.... where's Mai?" he added.

Mai watched as Seto walked back into restaurant but she stayed outside. She wanted to know what happened with the two girls. Rather odd they would just walk off like that. She stood there and watched from afar.

[[yea it's pretty hard. But it gets a little easier as you get used to it. Sometimes, lol. Yea, there is a lot of paperwork then waiting, then letters, then waiting. The last thing I did was go to a group interview which wasn't even really an interview, more like a 'HEY GUYS this is what you need to know about subbing and sign this'. The Board meeting was last Thursday, where they decide who is acceptable and who isn't. Now I have to wait for my letter (if I am getting one, which I think I am) and certification then I can start subbing. But on a different note, I also got another job today- a Halloween store. It's only temporary, but still money is money :3 and I can do both that job and subbing which is sweet :3]]

Atem narrowed his eyes at Tea. Her trickery was truly distasteful. And putting his former host in this type of pinch didn't put him in a good mood either. "Usually friends don't kiss one another like that. Not unless they have other intentions," Atem said rolling his eyes off a bit. He couldn't help but feel bad for Yugi and Akiko, when it came down to it it was technically his fault for Tea's behavior. But then again, it's not his fault she's obsessed with him. "And you are Yugi's friend, right Tea?" he said looking back at her as if burning a hole into her skull. She obviously wasn't acting like his friend, she was using him like a pawn to get what she wanted. Except Atem wouldn't give her the satisfaction. This is why he loved Sam so much, she wasn't sneaky and cruel like Tea was.

Joey blushed a little when Kaiba reached over him to Sam's purse. A shiver went up his spin, a good shiver. Mentally he had to tell himself not to touch the brunet. And because he had to restrain himself, he became disappointed with himself. Why did he think such things about Kaiba? About another guy? "W-what?" Joey said looking at Kaiba. "What do you mean by cozy?" he asked him more clearer. How could Mai get cozy with Kaiba? They were defiantly not meant for each other! It made him jealous, but not in the same way Kaiba thought it made him.

Akiko looked up at Sam with sorrowful eyes. She was glad her friend to get her, and at the moment she was glad it wasn't Yugi. Her mind was so scattered, she was sure she would say things to him that she didn't mean. Her words were nice, but she couldn't get that stupid image out of her head. "But he liked it, Sam..... I could tell...." she said feeling defeated. She couldn't beat Tea. He's known her for longer, they got along a lot better, she was prettier, flirtier. Tea could give him what he wanted. She couldn't.

[[Yea, they could have ordered already. We can skip the eating part if you want, but I defiantly want to have Sam and Atem's argument, and Atem and Joey's fight. ]]

Seto smirked and chuckled slightly before sipping his drink. "I dont feel that is any of your business Mutt." Things had gotten a little cozy and Joey didnt need to know that she rejected him. Which Seto was still not accepting. NO ONE rejects Seto Kaiba. He was determined to steal her from Joey no matter what. Yet he couldnt stop thinking about what she had said to him.

Sam frowned. She was ready to go in there nad beat Tea up for ruining everything. Sam really thought Yugi had liked Akiko, so why would he let Tea kiss him? As she thought about it she realized something. "I'm sure he didnt enjoy it, you know how poilte and kind Yugi is. Even if he hated it he wouldnt say that, to anyone. Tea's nothing special and she's certainly not better then you! You know how Yugi is, thats why you like him right?" She said with a small smile, trying to cheer her up.

Tea glared a little at Atem. Why was he so mean to her? If he just cooperated she was sure they would be the best couple ever. She had imagined it numerous times. He was too good for Sam and perfect for her. Same with Yugi well besides her being too good for nice little Yugi. He really didnt intereast her at all. She was lucky that he was so easy to manipulate. "Of course I'm Yugi's friend! right Yugi?"

Yugi was too preoccupied staring at the door. He was still trying to settle things down here but all he could focous on was Akiko. Was she comming back? Was she mad at him? Disgusted? Things had been going so well. He was sure he was going to ask her out tonight. Though he still had no idea how much she liked him and that she had dressed up and everything just for him. "what? oh yeah Tea..." he said as he turned back to stare at the door again, not really sure what he just agreed to.

"Well I never said you have to let him off easy." Sam said with a wink and a smirk after Akiko said he should have said something. "Win him over and then show him that you wont put up with that s**t." She said confidently. She was speaking with confidence because she was talking about Akiko's problems. When it came to her own she got very insecure and unsure. She just gave a smile and a nod when she thanked her. She then turned her head when she heard Mai's voice. "Well of course we cant end the night early. We look too damn good!" She said with a laugh, trying her best to cheer Akiko up before they would go back inside. She knew it would be hard for her. She walked back inside and watched nervously as Akiko returned near Yugi. She didnt know how things would play out. She did smile at Atem however. "So are you guys almost finished?" She asked, sitting back down and looking at her half eaten plate of food. She thought maybe if they left the restaraunt soon it would be less awkward.

((Seriously a little too much wine I cant even reread that so I hope it was ok haha))

Seto's smirk widened after Joey became increasingly curious. That meant he was getting jealous. And while he knew Joey was jealous over Mai and not him it still gave him some pleasure to know he was making him angry. "Well lets see, I believe somthing came up about how rich I am and how sexy she is. Hmmm was that before or after I had her in my arms?" Said as though it were a casual conversation but anyone could tell he was bragging, though he might be stretching the truth a little bit.

"Whats wrong with a simple kiss Atem?" Tea retorted, getting a little angry that he didnt fall for her charm as easily as Yugi and other men did.

Yugi turned beat red when Atem said friends with benefits. He couldnt help but glance at Tea's body quick but then he shook his head. He loved Akiko. not Tea. Maybe he once had feelings for her but it didnt matter. He knew who he'd rather be with, and that was deffinetly Akiko. He turned his head quick as he heard the door open and he saw the three girls walk in. He thought maybe if he just focused on her again instead of Tea that little kiss could be over looked. "Akiko! Are you ok? did you cut yourself on the glass?" he asked very concerned, trying to avoid asking her if she was mad at him for kisisng tea or bringing up the subject at all as he grabbed her hand to check for any cuts but really he just felt the need to touch her.
