Kinsetsu had yet to fully discover all areas of the Gotei. He therefore spent much of the day traversing across the Sereitei land seeing the facilities of all divisions. He stumbled onto the 4th squads training ground to find what seemed to be the end of a hard fought spar. On closer inspection his friend Ash was layng upon the ground obviously upset not by the wounds suffered but the mental strain of the battle. Her opponent, one he had no seen since before had raised her chin with her head speaking with firmness. He approached the party with no intentions of going unnoticed.

"Now now no need for such harshness. What you say is clearly true and it will be a growing experience for her. All us new shinigami must go through the learning process to understand ourselves allowing us to use our full potential. You seem one capable of forcing the new recruits to search for that potential therefore I myself wouldn't mind a spar if you are not too tired. Ash could use a little breather it seems anyways."

He stepped closer displaying no glimmer of emotion as his eyes concentrated on what was before him. He had no ill intent with these words and would consider the shinigami before him a friend before a foe. He sought only to improve in order to achieve his true objectives and this meant being able to combat the future non-believers. This shinigami had an understanding with their spirit and he could study the interaction they had during combat. This would prove quite educational.

Ash rose with an audible snarl, face twisting for a moment into something vaguely animalistic. Her hair rippled into silver tones for a split second before she forced herself to calm down. It would not do at all to lose her grip on her human form and phase in front of Elyse. The sensible Ash, tucked away in the rational corner of her mind, recognized Elyse's actions and knew she was only trying to bring out Ash's stronger character. At the same time, the greater part of Ash that was all wounded pride and stubbornness was unwilling to listen to Elyse's advice.

"Sure and I'll kick your a** eventually, y' know," Ash said vehemently, a bit of a hard smile on her lips as she pressed against the keen edge of Elyse's blade. "That's a promise. Y'd best never go easy on me,"

She meant it, too. She understood Elyse's thought process, and really, she was grateful for such a strong sparring partner. Ash was definitely the face-to-pavement sort of student. She wouldn't learn anything unless it was pounded into her, but that had always suited her in the past. It stood to reason it would carry over, now. Now that she had a goal in mind, she would train all the harder to overcome Elyse and be considered among the "titans." The idea truly appealed to her sense of justice. Nothing stood against a titan. She could protect as well as cause devastating damage. It was perfect for Ash's needs.

Elyse would smile to see Ash's reaction. She stood and quite proudly meet with her steel not afraid. A thumbs up was coming her way, but Elyse wasn't done with her day of sparing. As she was absorbed in her emotional moment with the rookie Aislinn. She'd come to listen to the man off to their side. Apparently wanting to start up a match as well. Elyse was revealed of any ailment from her release and she was sure Aislinn would be ready to go for another, with her wounds all sealed up. her figure would look off from being cut open not to long ago, but she would be better than just fine.

"Well that's what I like to hear Ash. come at me with all you have and don't stop pushing. that's how I like my fights and my people."turning to Kinsetsu with a grin she'd continue."So if you want a match guy, I'll need a name with that face of yours. Also I'd like you to work with the kid here. She's not much of a person who likes to rely on anything but her power, and things she can get with her hands. Real ferrule instinct. You work with her and it'll drive her nuts, but teach her something." Stepping back away from the two after sheathing her blade Elyse would continue to have a smirk on her face while hanging her head counting her steps in her head.
"You both may be against it, but no rematch or introduction match until you two agree to make friendly and share me. I like seeing team work, and it'll give you an understanding of team mechanics. so how do ou want to start."Elyse came to a halt with her back against the wall. She 'd be leaning on it heavily and eyes unflinchingly watching the two for their answer.

He had clearly got her attention and it seemed the shinigami understood his wish to have a friendly spar. His physical fighting abilities were of no standout merit except for his ability to react. He relied more on the faculties of his brain which led to him being a member of the 12th division. The use of the brain was also the most powerful ability one could have in combat as it allowed for his tactical abilities to flourish. He wished to see to what extent tactics could work in the face of a much superior fighter.

Pardon my lack of manners. I'm Ichikuri Kinsetsu of the 12th division.I don't believe we've met so excuse me if I do not know your name."

He awaited her response and took a quick glance at Ash. She seemed like she had been in quite a spar but clearly demonstrated on her face the willpower he had seen in her prior. She was a strong-willed independent type and he wondered whether she would accept the Shinigami's proposition.

"I have no issue teaming up with Ash. We are well acquainted and I would consider her a good friend of mine."

In fact she was his only so called friend at the moment. She knew his character and true past, something none other currently knew.

Ash shot Elyse a mock scowl at the taller woman's harsh assessment of her personality. She couldn't really take much offense to it, especially considering how much truth it held. At any rate, as Auri had said, they were well-acquainted and she had no problem working with him. At the same time, she bristled slightly at the suggestion that Auri would be teaching her. By her estimation, they were both new graduates from the Academy. Although he was certainly scientifically-oriented, it wasn't as though she didn't have a head on her own shoulders or was less experienced than he.

She was much more likely to acquiesce to partnering with him than becoming his student in some capacity. He seemed to be of like mind, so that suited her just fine. Still, she did want another crack at Elyse. She supposed she'd have to wait, though patience was never really her strong suit.

"I don't mind sparring with Auri," She agreed.

"Hmm, Ichikuri huh? Welp since our brawling beauty here is cool wit it "Auri" and "Ash" versus "El". I'll want you two on your best, and coming at me with one thing in mind to improve, not whatever you already had in mind. Trust that this is meant to help in more than one way. so the bridge you wish to cross may be passed from following my instructions...now i want you two thinking of timing and advance. So now..."

Stepping away from the wall about two inches Elyse would drawn her blade slowly and have in relaxed in her dominant right. her posture not showing any tension as her start with Ash earlier. having fought her earlier gave the team an edge, but this wasn't out of Elyse attack shift. Rather than make a plan, Elyse had her body preped for drastic change in battle condition and her reaction time were known to exceed attacks even placed with shunpo or sonido to help. A body that held stances to escape and evade most everything with the right knowledge of what to give and take to win in the end. Experience was her edge over the two before her, this stood before her shikai or any other side to the woman who was sharpened like a blade into a warrior, a weapon, a true shinigami.
"come and get a piece."Elyse's eyes had been masked in the shadow of her favorite cornbread colored hat, but they still shined trough like a sliver of light from the bottom of a cave. Her lips letting the air escape her lungs evenly, her chest rising and falling as such. She was composed and started to grow a smug grin on her face. Mostly for motivation, she knew Ash would come and take the challenge this look telegraphed. As for Auri, she was still unfamiliar with him, but a match tended to break down walls between people.

Kinsetsu surveyed the new developing circumstances. El as she had referred to herself had taken a stance that would allow her to quickly counter any direct attack. Ash from the emotional understanding of her character would be more of a direct attacker which tempted him to allow her to make the initial move to cause a distraction neccesary for him to gain a surprise. He typically would have no issue allowing this to occur but Ash was a friend and he did not feel like seeing her walk into a trap, although she would have a plan of her own in doing so.

Therefore he began advancing towards his target without raising his sword, in a jog, as his hands sat beside his body. One of those hands reached for a bottle labelled H. As he was wihin 12 feet of the target he tosses the bottle at El. It was head directly in front of her at a velocity of 50 mph. A split second after releasing he braced himself in a stance and yelled out Hado 4: Byakurai. A blue lightning line of light headed directly at the bottle.

He pulled his cape to cover most of his body while he maintained visual contact. He did this because in the bottle contained the element hydrogen. This was not a dangerous element at room temperature but the lightning bolt he has launched could reach heats of 30 000 degrees celcius as well as bring forth the electrical catalyst he needed for the reaction. The end result would be a very volatile high powered explosive reaction. The hydrogen would also react with the oxygen to create water due to the lightning as a catalyst. Water and electricity were as well a dangerous combination. His attack would send electrical currents at his target in a radical manner while having the explosion engulf them leaving little room for escape. It was quite a devastating introduction but he wished to force the best out of El. The bolt hit the container starting the chain reaction.

He was certain El would not have not been expecting such a maneouver based on his aggresive rush towards her. One of the problems fighting new individuals was the fact you could never fully anticipate their actions.

"Don't mind if I do," Ash laughed, drawing her blade. Elyse was not wrong in her estimation of Ash's sensibilities. That grin practically begged to be wiped off her face, and Ash wasted no time, darting straight for her opponent, matching Elyse's expression smile for smile.

Perhaps it was lucky that she and Auri had reacted at the same moment. They ran side by side for a moment before Ash, at a quicker clip, took the lead. Something shot past her peripheral vision, and a small glass vial caught her eye. She had no notion as to its purpose or value, so she glanced back at Auri, a question in her eyes. It was at this point that she caught site of his stance, characteristic of kido-casting. His outstretched fingers suggested the Byakurai, and Ash wasn't fool enough to get in the way of that particular kido twice. The last time she'd seen it, Kasen, the third seat of her division, had nearly blown off her foot.

She dodged to the side, and not a minute too soon. It seemed as though Auri was aiming the white lightning at the glass bottle, and his aim was true. The small bottle fairly exploded on contact just as it reached Elyse's position. The shock wave tossed Ash back a few feet, and she felt small jolts of electricity prickling along her skin. She dragged her free hand along the ground, combating her backward momentum and retaining her guard in the even Elyse should evade or otherwise recover from the explosion.

Obviously Auri had initiated some sort of chemical reaction with the lightning, but as she had no idea as to the contents of the glass bottle, she couldn't name the particular reaction. She figured she'd leave such things to the science-y folks in Squad Twelve. Now that she'd seen the sort of attack Auri opened with, she had a better understanding of his character. He likely had more similar gadgets and gimmicks at his disposal and Ash, more of an independent fighter, would have to be extremely wary. It wouldn't do to get in the way of one of his techniques as she'd almost done just now.

((Uh, hey guys. well I have some news on reaper. If you hadn't noticed her profile in gaia has been erased. so she's going to have to start from the top again with everything. The reason this happened is because of gaia's new security measure to have the profile closed when one places the wrong info when logging in. so she just wanted me to tell you that she's okay if you guys just go on with your Rp''ing with out her.))

((OOC: So the training grounds are empty now; And the hidden person the weapon was looking at was Ash.))

Hours after the group leaves:

To Ami it had only been a half hour, but in reality, it had been nearly four hours since she left the shiny brand new healing room; even though the room inspired good vibes it still became stuffy with anger, and frustration. Enough to choke the small girl out of it, enough so to bring her here with her weapon. The small girl had both good dreams of her past, and nightmares which woke her up in cold sweats. It wasn't that she didn't wish to know the name of her weapon, she was scared to actually pursue it. The weapon dared Ami to draw it every time she held onto it. The strange pink gripped weapon growled deeply like a savage beast threatening to rip something apart. At the same time, there was a hint to a maniacal laughter within each growl. It didn't scare her because of the growl, but that the growl sounded like it was fake, like it was making fun of Ami's anger. Almost as if it was calling her crazy for feeling any emotion at all.

With this said Ai Ami quickly pulled the weapon from the sheath and stabbed it into the ground. Taking a step back she glared at it, "What the ********> her voice was now full of rage. She stood in the middle of the training grounds as she glared at the weapon. Taking a step back she slapped her hands onto her knee and static electricity crackled from under her large un-pleated hakama's. Quickly she moved forward and jumped into the air performing a backflip kicking the sword right where the blade met the hilt; her heel connected with the hand guard and sent the blade high into the air. The weapon hummed as it went further into the air and crackled with electricity simply because Ami had put electricity into her leg before she attacked the blade.

She quickly landed in a low crouch and then kicked off the ground high into the air to follow the blade, she grabbed the blade with both hands and performed a quick crunch throwing the blade hilt first back at the ground after spinning twice in the air. It would appear that Ami had floated temporarily in the air as she did such.

The blade landed with a loud metallic crack, but instead of falling to it's side the blade remained upright, almost as if someone where holding it in place. As she fell back towards the ground she readied for a dropping swipe kick that would hit the blade directly in the middle, but instead as she landed, a flash of a hand appeared and grabbed her ankle, and then the outline of a woman appeared holding her ankle, the form giggled playfully, sounding very similar to Ami's own giggle. It spun holding onto Ami's ankle and threw her into a nearby practice dummy, completely smashing it to the ground.

Out of pain she cried out, and astonished at what just happened she forced herself to her feet and looked amazed at her weapon within it's spirit form... it's true form. Her eyes shot wide as the form took full shape revealing a woman looking exactly like Ami, but instead she had shorter pigtails, and her uniform was an inverted version of Ami's. Instead of studs there where long suggestive spikes that stuck out on her necklace and arm bands. With pink eyes, and pink hair the girl didn't look threatening in the least.

Ami stumbled forward towards the blade as the weapon dusted itself off. As she took each step forward the weapon giggled as it looked up to her with a devious smile. "What baby? Do I piss you off?" It giggled as it blurred from view and appeared behind her, but as it did so, it made the static 'womf' that hollows made as they performed their own version of flash step. She slid her hands around Ami's waist and ran it's fingers along her soft skin, gently gliding her claw like fingers along her skin.

It reached up as Ami attempted to step away and grabbed her by her right pig tail and spun her around to face it, it giggled again as it burried its fist into her gut. As she lurched forward to catch her breath the weapon sealed her lips against Ami's and kissed her deeply before licking the side of her face, dropping back and spun landing a roundhouse kick to the woman's shoulder.

Again, Ami fell to the ground several feet away, and again followed by her struggling to her feet, and stumbling about before catching her balance. Coughing she held her gut with both hands as the other woman seductively strutted over to her, swaying her hips gently. Though Ami was having her a** kicked the strange weapon again captivated the inexperienced warrior with her allure. She couldn't pull her eyes away as the woman pulled herself up to Ami and used it's index finger to bring her eyes up to it's own. Closing her eyes she gently pressed her lips against Ami's kissing her as two lovers would after falling passionately in love. Her own mind screamed for her to lash out, but instead she simply allowed her own lips to glide against the weapons. After a few moments the kiss even shifted and Ami still didn't pull away...

The weapon took a step back holding onto her empty hilt, "Just know, that no matter how powerful you think you are, I've already perfected what you just learned." Looking to the side where another being hid she smiled devilishly before walking up and wrapped her arms around Ami's shoulders in a loose hug. Kissing her briefly again she continued, "And just because you refuse to learn my name doesn't make me some mindless tool." tilting her head to the side her voice softened, "So if you plan on abusing me like that ever again, I'll just find myself another carrier."

With that the weapon faded back into it's own sealed form back within Ami's sheath, falling to her knees she simply stared at the ground in awe. She had never actually seen a creature so powerful, something that could manipulate battle with a simple kiss. A battle... kisses where meant for the closure of two lovers, and this weapon of hers was able to steal that from Ami without even struggling. In fact... in some sick sense Ami longed for more. This fact alone caused her to fear her own weapon even more.

Sliding her weapon from her obi she tossed the blade a few feet from her and it clattered lifelessly on the ground in front of her form. It giggled faintly knowing it had conquered Ami.

Tears of fear and frustration began to fall from her eyes as she curled up on the cold dirt...

(*mild confusion* would Ash have seen that? She'd go nuts! O.o)

Aislinn padded quickly through Fourth Division, pointedly ignoring the startled looks of those she passed. In their defense, it wasn't every day they saw a large, silver-gray wolf trotting along, luminous blue eyes intent on some distant target. Still, one would think that, as shinigami, they'd be use to seeing odd things such as this. But maybe I'm giving 'em too much credit, Ash mused as one particularly young shinigami-- probably no older than she-- dropped a stack of paperwork in his effort to get out of her path. She gave him a wolfy grin as she passed, eyes crinkling in amusement.

All fun and games aside, Ash did have a reason for scouring Fourth Squad's streets. Ever since the small incident in the division's healing room, she'd been rather fixated on finding one particular healer-- Hateshinai Ai Ami. Unfortunately, the small woman's scent was everywhere. It made sense, considering that this was her home, but it didn't make Ash's task particularly easy. Moreover, from what she could discern from the freshest trails, Ami had taken to wandering, perhaps to blow off some steam. That, too, coincided with Ash's estimations-- Ami had been angry when she'd left the healing room. Ash had heard it in the tone of her voice.

Putting her nose to the wind, Ash too a deep breath, sorting and cataloging each scent mechanically. She wasn't particularly fond of this division. Everything smelled vaguely of antiseptic and blood-- a hospital smell. And for various reasons, that smell terrified her. She tried to push past the discomfort, though, focusing, instead, on the individual human scents. She could pick out Ami's best, considering they were better acquainted than the other healers in the division. More importantly, Ami smelled best to her, though if asked to describe the scent, she wasn't sure that she could. It was sweet and clear and-- and there was a very fresh trail of it leading just off that corner...

Ash broke into a run, long, wiry muscles rippling under her silvery pelt as she broadened her stride. Just ahead was the squad's training grounds. She'd been there before when she'd sparred with Elyse, and she recognized it at once. Her ears swiveled forwards as she approached, picking up signs of a struggle that sounded much less friendly than a sparring match. She stopped just inside the training ground's borders, at this moment, one of the two occupants made brief eye contact with her. This triggered an instinctual response, making her hackles rise, a silent snarl revealing sharp, white teeth.

Two women occupied the training grounds. One was the Ami she recognized, but the other-- the one who'd glanced briefly in her direction-- was a stranger. Still, there was something about the stranger that put Ash in mind of Ami herself, though in some darker, evil-twin sort of form. The two women appeared to have stopped their struggle, and Ash got the distinct sense that Ami had come off second best. She looked dazed and hardly resisted as the stranger pulled her into an embrace, kissed her, then spoke in inaudible tones. Ash blinked, and the woman disappeared, leaving her to later wonder if she'd seen anything at all. She also felt a niggling jealously for which, even after the fact, she would not be able to discern the cause.

But that would only occur to her later. The only thing that concerned her now was that Ami had more or less collapsed. The small woman had curled up on the ground shoulders shaking as though she was crying. Something in Aislinn positively rebelled at the sight of Ami in distress. She was at her side in an instant, standing protectively over her in the event the strange woman should appear again.

Ami? Ash spoke soflty, communicating, as werewolves did, in a low-grade form of telepathy. She lowered her head and butted Ami's shoulder gently.

(Loooooong... but not as long as yours XD)
