We don't have but I really bombed my Al-State audition if that counts.

Totally wrong time to bomb an audition. DX
But I still managed to scrape last chair in the concert band (ninth).

Yes.

We were doing chair auditions, and we had a week to learn an IMPOSSIBLY hard piece. I mean, really hard. 7 notes in a beat while really fast kind of hard. I bombed the first impossible half, but pulled it together in the last half. Strangely, I moved up a chair.

I'm going to try and scan it to show you how hard it was to learn in a week.

If anyone has played first clarinet for the Valdres march, that's it.

Sort of.
I was supposed to sightread for NYSSMA.
And I played the entire piece an octave higher than it should have been.

I'm a French horn in my school's "higher up" band, so it's nearly impossible to bomb a playing test. In fact, I was pretty confident that I had bombed my tryout for Continental League, but I ended up getting in. Seems like directors are a lot tougher on the "common" instruments and more forgiving of the "not so common" instruments. But even on trumpet, I still did pretty well, so I don't know.

I have a couple times. It sucked. I was just so very nervous I guess.

I got so nervous during honor band tryouts one time that I psyched myself out and totally jumbled up all the notes. You couldn't even tell what the song was. But I made it in anyways because my band director was the judge. xd

actually... no. i have never bombed a playing grade by accident. i have on purpose before. but never accidently. but i ALWAYS bomb written tests. im not good at memorizing things. like how to build scales. and the circle of fifths... im surprised im still the section leader... my poor section...

One of the band tests I had, the whole band was playing a part of a song and my BD came and stood by me (I play Electric Bass Guitar), and I played about 10-20 measers and he stopped the Band and he was like to me: "That was pretty good"
"The Band you mean right?", I said back and he said "No, I was talking about you", and I gave him a weird look. My BD thought I did pretty good I ended up getting like 38/40 but for me I bombed it. If I don't get perfect then I do bad. xP xD

I did horrible on my last playing test, and the worst part is it counts for whether I get into the good band next year, or the not-so-good band, which is a first for our school. Ackk, I hate being all nervous and stoof. Then again, our best player, a flute player, who's one of the best on the east coast, she didn't even get a perfect score. So he's grading harder then normal.
