Marcia continued listening quietly following behind Quin. "A long time ago I used to believe that, but that was long before I met him." She didn't see them the same way anymore, it had been a memorable experience to put it lightly.
Marcia looked at the tree, it seemed to have grown strangely, and was interesting no doubt.
((Sis is driving me insane sorry for the small post))

"I see..." Ander completely turned to face Marcia. His arms folded across his chest. "And what about him has changed you?" Or do you feel you have even changed at all."
Ander thought back to when he first meet Saga, how naive he was. He had changed so much since his ZOID transformed and his friend joined him in that transformation. Gone, yet not. It was an odd thing but a great boon.
Another word from Saga gave him an update on what was going on with Catastrophe. Still no luck in persuasion, but he was close.

"When I was younger I had been taught only that Zoids were expendable machines used by both the Republic and Empire and every zoid I used made no complaint on how I treated it" Marcia explained "And so I believed it for a time..." Marcia paused thinking back to how she and Catastrophe had met. "When he found me there was just something I couldn't explain. As soon as I saw him and looked into his eyes my entire belief was overturned he was just unlike every zoid I had ever piloted... " She smiled at the thought "I knew he was more than a machine and other zoids too." Marcia finished.
Marcia stared at quin "I know I've changed since I met him, I'm most certainly not as naive as I used to be."

"Common mistake of the military." Ander shrugged. At least it was when he was king of the rogues. The seem to be getting smarter about these kind of thing.
"It is uncanny the similarities in our stories. Saga changed my life completely... though I have had my ZOID far longer than you have."
Ander continued down the path once again carefully noting the trees as he passed by them. " I can say, if it were not for Saga's help I would not have gotten so far."

Marcia nodded in agreement "It's only been a few years but even then I;ve seen more cadets that care deeply about their Zoids than I ever have before."
"Are they Really?" Marcia wondered aloud before nodding. It was obvious by the bond shared between the two. Marcia had a bond with her zoid but it was no where near as strong. She only hoped to strengthen it the more time she spent with her zoid.
When Quin started walking again Marcia followed beside him. Marcia nodded understanding the feeling. Without Her zoid she wouldn't have been able to do many things.

"That could be dangerous for us, or perhaps not. It is best to not focus on the down side of life. Be aware of it, but focus on your goal" Ander took note of an odd plant he saw growing from the side of the tree. It bore red and white flowers. The red blending into the white the further down the petal. It was a beautiful flower.
Ander picked one of the flowers and turned back to face Marcia. He held the flower out to her with a smile on his face. "Your life goes where your focus is."

"Well at least it gives more of a challenge." she chuckled before nodding. It was always good to know what both sides were doing while she lived her life. Marcia glanced behind herself quickly wondering how Her zoid was doing, She was sure he was fine but still couldn't help but worry a little, she wished the Zoid had told her.
The odd flowering plant caught Marcia's eye as well, It was unlike the other flowers she had seen on Zi. "It does, one mus live as they see themselves living." Marcia agreed with a smile taking the stem in her slender fingers.

Once Marcia had the flower in her hands Ander's arms folded across his chest again. It was a comfortable position. Another message from Saga and he knew that this was as far as their walk would go.
"The key is to work hard for what you strive for. I can see my self as the richest man in the world, but I will get no where if I do not even try." He paused as Saga sent another message. "Not that I value money... but it makes for a good example." He shrugged.
"your ZOID is almost ready. Saga says it will be just a little more before you can go back."

Marcia sniffed the flower a an amused smile playing across her features. "A good example but you seem to value the opposite." she said with a light chuckle. "But I do agree, one must work hard for what they strive for." Marcia ran her fingers through her hair before givning a nod.
"That's good, did Saga find out what it was?" She asked curiously.

Ander chuckled. He got so caught up in this 'lesson' than he forgot to tell Marcia something important Saga had told him.
"Yes, your ZOID has an Organoid in it. It is, not an ancient one, Saga feels it was created a couple years ago. Possibly within the last year. It keeps your ZOID from becoming wild. Tames it. It fears the ZOID will rampage if it is not bound to the core. Saga is trying to see if there is a way to shut the ZOID down while it is not attached. "

"Wait a what?" Marcia had heard of the organoids but she'd never actually seen one, nor anyone who had one. And somehow one had attached itself to catastrophe without her knowing, or perhaps just before she had met him. Well at least that would explain why Catastrophe had become more tame than before, the Organoid had awoken.
"But what would a constructed Orangoid be doing alone ?" Organoids were valuable that much Marcia knew if anyone had seen it they would have tried to capture it. And if someone had built it wouldn't they have kept it? But then again perhaps it was constructed for the sole purpose of controlling the uncontrollable Zoid.
"From what I know of Catastrophe I know anyone would afraid if he rampaged." the Organoid had a well justified fear. Even Marcia only knew a fraction of the power her Zoid held.
Marcia gave a sharp Nod "Tell Saga to keep looking, I'd like to meet the little guy one day." She smiled

"It is most likely the reason you were able to obtain Catastrophe in the first place. I can imagine it was originally created for the ZOID. I have heard rumors of Dr. Fox loosing an experiment because of its wild nature." Ander tapped his chin. "Actually I remember accepting to hunt it for a nice reward a long time ago."
The fact he was never able to catch it was reason enough to try and not bring up that memory as much as possible.
His hands returned to his side. "He is trying to take it easy and slow. It has to trust him first."

Marcia thinking back about it Marcia couldn't help but agree, when she had met Catastrophe he was already tamer than rumors had mentioned She must have met the Zoid right after the Organoid had merged with it. Eying Quin with her brow raised she said "You're not going to go after it now are you?"
She nodded "Of course, It'll take a while no doubt." She still wanted to see the little organoid and thank him at least.

"No, I relinquished the hunt after I found someone had bonded to it." Ander shook his head. "I may be a thief, but even the best rogues know never to steal a ZOID from someone who shares a close bond with it. Not only does the ZOID become enraged, it is impossible to pilot."
Ander had lived up to that code. He had stolen many ZOIDs in his life, but every one of them was not used to their potential. They did not share a close bond with their pilots and made for great ZOIDs for the gang.

Marcia didn't think he would but it couldn't hurt to make sure. Marcia had only occasionally stolen a zoid but not very often and it was more often than not a zoid that wasn't bond to a particular pilot.
"Thank you." She said simply.
