DwarfPriest Its still on grave robber's level. They are dead, don't need their possessions. Still, if you open a grave, you'll have the police/guard on your tail. And you just said yourself that creating undead is an evil act, even if the undead themselves are not evil aligned... oh well, its your game. Though people would need to be too weird to accept undead walking around patrolling the city... are they killable for xp if not eatable?

Yes, grave-robbing is evil. Just like killing humanoids to get their treasure and gain experience is evil. razz DnD environment calls for a slightly altered morality. Also, undead are created from the bodies of debtors and criminals, like a form of tax/community service. Also, animals make good undead. Pick the bones clean after frying it, and you now have an ox that will pull the plow day and night without needing any feed. ^_^ Yes, it can be disconcerting, but most are well-covered, and the villaiges that employ them are used to it.

However, when outnumbered and with half your party against you, they might gain some XP from defeating a level 3 human fighter, ya know? There are also paladins and some Arcanadins in the town guard (arcanadins are a homebrew fighter/spellcaster hybrid).

Because they're good, and you just killed an innocent man with intention to rob him, steal his children, sell his wife into slavery, and rape his cattle.

You said you'd go in and eat the shopkeep so you could steal all his stuff, then eat the town guard if they came to arrest you. Your stomach has little air, and most people can't take continual bludgeoning and acid damage.

Gimme a chance here. There were lots of "normal" things you called disturbing these last weeks. I think I have the right to be disturbed by undead skeleton militia...

Well, it's not entirely undead, and there's always at least one humanoid in every law-enforcement group to prevent the mindless members from going all facist-literalist on you. If they really bother you that much I can replace them in favor of more constructs.

Well, that was a hyperbole/joke, sorry if it came out too literal sweatdrop . It's a partial homage to the blazing saddles speech, you know, with the slight augmentation of the normal order. Anyway the point was that you had made out like you were going to general kill eat and steal anything and everything that you got in your sights, and that's not a PC I think I can deal well with.
