DarkHeartedSorrows (Since you didn't post after this, I thought it'd be okay to go ahead and respond. Sorry for lateness!) Kacen glanced over to the voice that called to him and for a slight moment offered a smile that let her know he wasn't as terrible as this all the time. "Yeah, it's pretty bad. This heat is going to be terrible for the pokemon." He would have mentioned something about the trainers, but at this point he didn't really care.
It was a few moments later that he noticed she didn't have a pokemon trailing after her either, and motioned to her. "No pokemon either, hm?" He chuckled, a bitter sort of sound. "I don't have one, though I'd like to. I'm only hear because I thought I could escape summer."((No problem at all, I'm typically doing a dozen things at once so I'm also a bit slow.)) So she'd been right, Cab couldn't believe the relief she felt that he wasn't going to whip about a pokéball to release his partner and start singing it's praises. "No, none yet," she admitted. She was starting to think about the sun screen in her bag. Her skin was too fair for this kind of abuse. "My room mate kicked me out for the week, figured I ought to get some sun and excitement," she explained.
"I'm Cab, by the way," she added just as Devin walked up to them. She shrugged at his comment. "Guess some people just have really short fuses," she said, referring to the bus driver. "We'll just have to make the best of it," she said. She wasn't sure, but was this other guy trying to suggest they bail on the trip?

Cookie! Lucine’s baby blue eyes went large and wibbly at the sight of the sweet. Ignoring the marowak’s obvious anger----it wasn’t like the mewvee could understand such emotions anyway, unless she was the one having them---Lucine rubbed her head against the hand, making sure that Pippeh got her behind the ears. She was vaguely aware that there was a marowak there, but Jaidev would simply have to wait until Lucine had eaten. Then they could play, right? Riiiiiiight?
The little pink eevee balanced on her hind legs, trying to look as cute as possible. Also, she attempted to grip the half a cooke in her front paws, an act that didn’t go over so well since she didn’t have her usual hand-paws. For a moment, she simply looked sad. But, she got a cookie anyway, so her normal good cheer took over. The cookie-half disappeared quickly and she begged for more, even as hyperness overtook her.
NOW she noticed the marowak and batted a paw playfully at the creature before running around it in circles. “Mew?” she mewled again before pawing at the other pokemon’s bone. “Meeeeeew?”

((Guys! You aren't suppose to be RPing your rentals yet! You're going to get them at the camp, which we aren't there yet. XD))
Piney was pretty much silent while the other trainers were bustling around her. They seemed happy talking with others and their Pokemon, so she didn't feel the need to interrupt in order to amuse herself. Besides, she had Daybreak already, which at least gave her the oppurtunity for a one sided conversation.
She heard some trainer complaning how he lost his cell phone and turned to him, sighing. "It kinda defeats the point if you bring electronics to a camping trip. There's probably no service here so it wouldn't work anyway."

There were many times when Grace envied her Pokémon. This, however, was not one of them. She'd left Khash at what passed for home this week, guarding the travelling fair (which was doing great business in this lovely weather, thanks for asking), because she'd known he wouldn't fit on the bus. How he'd whined! Even the scorching hot weather hadn't cheered him, according to the latest message she'd had from Jem. But even he had it better than poor Rebecca, who was currently cowering in Grace's backpack away from the sunlight. Daytime simply didn't agree with her. Grace, on the other hand, was having a wonderful time. Having always been something of a lizard, she was soaking up the blistering heat as though it was nothing and thoroughly enjoying the walk. Better than being stuck on the coach, air con or no air con! She hated long coach rides - there was never anything to do save read, and if she read for too long she'd end up feeling queasy.
"Gaaastlyyyy..."
Grace sighed, reaching back to pat the side of her rucksack. "I know, pet, I know," she murmured. "It'll be dark again soon. Promise."
Rebecca whined pitifully inside the pack. She did not enjoy all this sunlight! Hopefully her human would find some shade for her soon - some that didn't involve being squidged into a bag...

Devin chuckled. There was certainly some bad things about that, yes, but on the other hand, you got exercise. "Well. We might as well get going. It's gonna be a long walk. Why aren't they letting us go?" he asked aloud. They should have at least let them walk a little bit more then a mile or so.

"Are you saying you are not a pretty lady?" He raised an eyebrow, thought was ignoring most of her talking as his attention lay on both pokemons. "Enough from both of you!" He said in a stern voice.
The voice was enough to startle Tripod out of defensive mode and back into his clinging one. The shiny shinx gave a low whine as he tried to keep up when the healer involuntary started to walk faster. Finally seeing this, he waited for the shinx and picked him up once again before he went on walking.

"Bye, um, oh shoot..." Sairah tried to say goodbye to Alessa, but she'd forgotten to ask her name. Oh well, there would always be time for that sort of thing later. For now, she had an adorable little, apparently female, raichu all to herself. "You like shoulders, don't you, shoulder-chu?" She asked Abiba and pet her head. For as long as she could remember, Sairah had had a fondness for yellow and yellow-ish pokemon, which included orange ones like raichu.

A soft muggy breeze rolled by as Musica easily hiked, ruffling tufts of his red hair that peekd under his dark hat. Smiling slightly, his eye's closed and he took a deep breath enjoying the smell of the parched earth. His vest ruffled as well, airing his back, and causing his back to be exposed slightly and being covered as soon as the wind dyed down. He let his thumbs hang on his front belt loops, while his other finger's burrowed slightly into his pockets.

Pippeh laughed as she watched Jaidev glaring at the eevee. Perhaps some interaction with other pokemon will be good for the marowak. "Don't be mean Jaidev. She's smaller than you anyways and I highly doubt she'd tried to harm me. Especially since I have cookies."
Jaidev glared at the eevee, hoping that it would just simply leave after the cookie. But nooo it decided to run around her. Ugh. She watched it run around her but when it touched her bone, she quickly grabbed it and growled at the obnoxious creature.
"Jaidev! Be nice. All it wants to do is play." Pippeh scolded the marowak once more, as she grabbed another cookie and broke it in half for the eevee to make up for Jaidev's bad attitude. She didn't want to it run away so soon. Why couldn't she have gotten a nice pokemon? Why?

Eros paused, wiping the sweat off his forehead. Yuck, this heat was disgusting. He wished he was still on that air-conditioned bus. These clothes were new, too, and they were going to get ruined, between the sweat and the dirt. Hopefully the camp itself would be cleaner and cooler. The boy glanced back towards his luggage. He wondered if he'd even have a chance on this trip to use the one set of contest dress clothes Juno had let him pack, just in case.

"I'm twelve years old," Zinnia said exasperatedly. "I meant a pretty lady that's your age. Unless you're-- y'know..." Zinnia gave Hartless a suspicious look, then grinned. "Lighten up, Hartless!" she said. "You could get a girlfriend if you were more friendly. Or are you married already? Come to think about it, I don't know anything about you." This did not appear to bother her one bit.
Zyk relaxed again, though he was still wary. Why, oh why, was Zin determined to make friends with that person?

Flari grinned widely. "I'm Flari! and this cutie..." she scritched the rattatta's sleeping head, "Is Liz." She shook Nyght's hand, though it was hard to do so and walk at the same time... "I do pokemon research for a living, so of course Crescent..." She offered a hand to the Glaceon "Caught my eye." She sighed. "Can't walk around Zatao in this heat... though its better up here. I'd rather travel in the wintertime, angry glalies or no."

Abiba happily waved bye-bye to the trainer and the papers, also falling off her perch from loss of balance. She quickly recovered and gave a happy tail-flick of contentment at more pettings.
"Chu! Chu Rai!" She babbled. Shoulders were a wonderful place! That way, she couldn't be ignored or get lost! And, she was also within easy reach too!

Nyght nodded towards the trainer, happy to have met a fellow researcher. She didn't have much else to say though, since she hardly knew anything much about Crescent herself yet. Since that was so, she just continued walking for a few minutes in a comfortable silence.
As the sun continued to beat down on the traveling group, Nyght switched which hand was holding the handle of the suitcase, and placed her now free hand on Crescent's fur for a moment to cool it. "It's going to be a long walk love, but I'm glad I have you to keep me company." Smiling down at the ice fox pokemon, Nyght absently stroked the frozen fur.
Crescent looked up at her new owner for a moment before continuing to walk where she was going. She had never imagined what it would be like to have a human companion before Nyght had caught her to take her to the pokecenter, but now she realized that she actually kind of liked it. She had of course heard horror stories from other wild pokemon of bad trainers, but Nyght was a good one, and it was nice having a friend who always had to be there for her. And meeting the Tauros Fintan hadn't been so bad either, he was actually quite nice, and didn't mind it when Crescent stood on his back instead of walking. All in all, she was almost glad she had hurt her foot, since otherwise she never would have met her new family.
((I'm going to head out for a while, bye bye!))

"Kacen." He offered his name to the girl, Cab, then turned back to the boy.
"We don't have much of a supervising team out here. I doubt they were expecting us to get dumped off the bus before making it to camp. It's hard to get everyone organized. Just follow the white haired guy like I am." He pointed in front of hiim at the healer with the GPS and shrugged. "He's out best bet in getting there, as my pokedex doesn't have a map and I really doubt any else has one here."
Was it really so hard to understand? It couldn't be.
