(I'm back! Sorry for not being on, homework homework and more homework. Four AP classes, it's horrible XP)
Richard helped Jubilation onto the horse, it was easy enough because the large animal was more than well behaved, and then got on himself. He sat in front, so he could actually hold the reins, and was quick to touch it gently in the side to start a slow trott down the street. "I can't wait for you to meet everyone, and you'll love the crystal gardens, I'm sure of it."

I didn't say anything in reply at first. I was taking a long, hard look at the place I was leaving behind for this boy I hardly knew, wondering how my parents would react when I didn't come back. I didn't say anything because I was afraid my voice would crack.
It felt right, somehow. So why was I crying?
Nathaniel took a deep breath, trying to steady his thoughts. "I'm not going to lie and say it's perfect. There's corrumtion, and I'm caught up in it. But there's still so much to live for... So much to fight for... Am I making any sense?" He looked up with a sheepish smile. "I'm a little confused myself."

Richard looked back at her when she didn't reply, and instantly regretted the descision. He'd never been good with tears, nor had his father, and both of them were especially bad with saying things to cheer people up. He paniked. "I'm sorry. It must be hard, leaving..." He could remember her sudgesting he stay with her, and shuddered, she was s much more brave than he was.

"I'm okay," I tried to stress, but my voice betrayed me and broke at just the wrong moment. But itw as true, wasn't it?
If Nathaniel was at all shocked that Alelsea made the first move, he hid it well. Elated, he gathered her up in his arms and started for the window. "Thank you!"

"I could stop now and let you off... I really could..." Even as Richard said it his horse slowed by his hand motions with the reigns, her face was killing him, she looked so sad. And her voice had broken so simply that it burned him straight to his core. He couldn't pull her away from her world if it hurt this much, could he?

I shook my head, focusing on breathing deeply until the shudders passed, and I was sure I could speak without sobbing. "I'm okay," I repeated, and this time my voice held. "Please, can we just go, before I change my mind?"

Alesea was slightly shocked at him picking her up, her cheeks flushed a little as she left her home. Hopefully, mom and dad won't mind. They'll probably forget about me anyway. It already feels like that. the poor girl thought sadly to herself. (Sorry again. >>; I need to come on here more)

Richard nodded his head, trying not to dwell on the deep sadness in Jubilations voice, and kicked his horses side lightly. Without further prompting the large animal broke out from it's nice little trot into a mid-gallop, still not as fast as a full speed car, but fast enough to see the street where the girl had lived dissapear and the treeline up ahead grow more pronounced. They would have to travel to the caves in the 'boulder mountains'* near the city.
(btw *Totaly made this up ^^)

Jubilation clung tight to the pommel of the saddle, squeezing her eyes shut. Horses. She had forgotten how much she hated horses.
