Twonk xd Fujiko and the forklift. That would be awesome. And Goemon gets mad because they make him slice through the aisles so Lupin can better escape the people. And to make it worse it's during the holidays so the shoppers are really stressed and angry. I'd pay to see that. 3nodding xd I showed my brother some of the FUNimation dubs and when he heard Zenigata's voice his response was something like "Uh......yeah.........that's pretty bad" xd And then if they used sleeping gas on the customers and the customers all fall asleep which makes it so Lupin can't go anywhere. So the gang makes Fujiko use the forklift to move all the customers. xd I have to agree with your brother about FUNi, except, I don't really like Anybodys voice, and Jigen Sounds too much like Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho. *twitch twitch* And I hate Kuwabara.

Well, I just wanted to say (to all who are loooking for illeagal bootlegs and semi-legal fansubs): The Lupin TV special has aired in Japan and should make it's way to DVD soon. From what I can gather, Fansubers and Bootleggers don't start selling/passing things out until the DVD comes out (probably for better qualtiy). On that note, I was on CDJapan.com and the soundtrack for the special is out, while the DVD is not. So, just keep your eyes peeled.
And, now, just a note on the TV specials: Whatever company makes them, has a contract to make them and air time for 50 years. eek

Okay, some actual news!
A company called Discotek Media, and they've gotten some rights to older films. They have several live-action nd older films and the important ones include:
-Lupin III: Plot of the Fuma Clan (AnimeEigo had it, but did not renew the rights to it. It is now dirt cheap on the website.)
-Lupin III: Legend of the Gold of Babylon (previously was AnimeEigo as well) Discotek said they would be adding a dub for this feature, which is hasn't had before.
-Lupin III: Strange Psychokinetic Strategy Originally released in 1974 Street date February 21st 2006
This is a Lupin live action film. I've also heard of a Lupin musical (saw the OST for sale) but this isn't it. It will have subs, and I will be buying for the sake of my quest for Lupin things. wink
Also, the company can use the name "Lupin", and are not required to use Rupan like AnimeEigo. So, I hope this is as exciting as I think it is!

Had some good points to it for me, though, but they are very small things. Return of Pycal I liked only because it reminded me of an independant fan done movie. Other than that, it was very confusing and the whole point of it was kind of ... well, pointless. I mean the whole sirens call music thing worked on Jigen and none of the others. I wouldn't really call that very successful. sweatdrop Pycal is a cool character, though, but it needed something better than what it had.

The Cowboy Guy looks more like Jigen than Jigen in the movie (The brown guy). I'm still willing to watch it, though.

Eeewww..... I thought the guy wearing black was Jigen at first, but then my sister pointed out that he said "Shine!"(I think that 's how it's spelled) to Lupin. "Shine" means "Die!"

I guess this would go under anime, since it is from the anime, but... I was bored a couple of nights ago, so I turned this scene into a gif. Ooh... xd And it's short and continually loops, so I will only post the link. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v106/blighter/gifs/lpnzni2.gifIt just sucks that it loses so much quality, but then again I am using some free gif maker thing. But yeah, so ends this "showcase Twonk's boredom" post.

xd Okay, it does loop, but it's funny! The third series isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. I was scared the first time I saw it. However, I think it has some strong episodes in it. The one with Goemon's friend, whose name was translated "Grren Dragon", and the invisible floors come to mind. I liked that one. Along with that one where both Zenigata and this other guy had the winning ticket for some game show. I forget the name of Third series episodes, but I do like them. 3nodding

Yeah, the third series has some pretty good episodes in it. Although they sometimes drew Jigen looking a little too drunk. xd I started to watch them again last weekend and never finished. Although there are a couple I won't watch again, since seeing them once was enough. sweatdrop The one with the moving bank was very odd. I mean, how would you think of that? A good episode, but just a strange idea. But the Green Dragon and game show episodes were also good. Think of all the ramen Zenigata could have bought with that money. xd
