crystaline melody Michi giggled a bit when seeing his reaction to her satisfying dinner.
"Ohhh, a foot massage sounds heavenly. My ankles are so swolen, I can barely feel them anymore." She looked down, her feet just peering out from under her growing belly. Helping her over to the bed he gently began to massage her left foot. "Hopefully I'm not gripping your foot too hard...man we have a lot of catching up to do huh? I've been so busy..and with the months just flying by...and with you pregnant...we haven't had much of 'us' time haven't we? I'm sorry honey..." he sighed.

She giggled a bit, her feet being very ticklish. "I know, it's been too long. But for now, it'll be just the two of us," she replied, "But let's cherish all the time we have to ourselves. " There was a blissful silence; just the two of them being in each other's presence and needing nothing more.
Suddenly, Michi gasped. "Honey, the baby kicked!"

Fern continued to stare up at the sky, hoping to see a falling star. She giggled as Saberlin tickled her and looked up at him. She nodded, beginning to feel the chill, and took his hand. "Alright. It is getting kinda cold." She followed him back to their room, wondering what Saberlin had in mind.

Helping to pull his pregnant wife to her feet, he walked with Fern back along the cool, sandy beach to the Inn, listening to the rushing and sighing of the water and the chirruping crickets in the surrounding bush. His eyes gleamed bright yellow-gold in the gloom. Saberlin could see quite well in the darkness, aided by his feline sight, though it could seem a bit eerie at times.
By the time they reached the door to their room again, Saberlin was shivering slightly. Full night had fallen and the air had grown cooler as the temperature dropped a few degrees without the warmth of the sun’s light.
Procuring the key card from somewhere on his person, he swiped it through the lock and then swung the door open, stepping aside so Fern could go in first. He was thinking about this point that a warm bath would be just the thing.

Fern hurried into the room, wrapping a blanket around her shoulders. She shivered a bit, cold from being outside for so long. "Brrr...I wish it was warmer outside. I would have liked to stargaze with you a bit longer." She smiled at Saberlin, offering part of the blanket she was wrapped in to him.

“Well now that can hardly be helped. It would seem that autumn still has some bite left in it” Saberlin chuckled softly, watching her grab the nearest blanket to ward off the cold. “I’m almost certain the stars will still be hung in their places in the heavens the next night and the next…” He smirked, teasing her lightly. He had decided not to tell Fern about his brilliant idea yet, thinking it would be a nice surprise if he revealed it to her later. And besides, there were details to arrange beforehand.
Closing the door and locking it securely behind them, he glanced around the room then transformed sleekly into his leopard form once more. Grabbing a corner of the blanket she had offered him in his teeth, Saberlin instead began tugging on it firmly yet gently enough not to pull her by force, pulling her backwards towards the plush couch with little jerking motions. There was definitely a hint of playfulness about this.

Fern smiled as she watched Saberlin turn into the sleek leopard and reached down to stroke his fur gently. She giggled as he began to tug her towards the couch. "Alright, alright." She giggled and sat on the couch, leaning her head on the arm of the couch.

Bounding up beside her the moment she sat down, he snuggled close to Fern and began to purr softly, just like a giant housecat. He had taken up half of the couch but he left enough room for her to stretch out her legs if she wanted to.
Spotting the remote control for the television balanced on an arm of the sofa, he hit the device with a lazy flick of his tail, sparking the TV screen to life. “I wonder if there’s anything worth watching.” He remarked. Saberlin didn’t usually watch much TV, except for the occasional movie, the news or a documentary about animals. He believed most of it was rubbish.

Fern smiled and began to pet Saberlin. She loved the sound of his purring. She closed her eyes as she stroked her fingers through his fur. "Maybe. I'd rather take a nap though. I'm exhausted." She swung her legs up on the couch, yawning.

Stardust Drifter As the silence was interrupted by their unborn child. He smiled warmly as he gently placed his hand upon where their child had kicked. Rubbing her belly gently, he could feel their chlid kicking away. "Someone's antsy tonight." he chuckled blushing slightly.
"Someone is also awake way past their bed time," she said as she chuckled, "It's late, and I, for one, am exhausted. Do you want to go to bed now and do some exploring tomorrow?"

Flicking through the channels with a detached feeling of disinterest and a growing heaviness around his eyelids, Saberlin quickly came to the same conclusion. Fern had the right idea. Tapping the remote to turn the TV off again, he gave an enourmous yawn that showed all of his pointed teeth, laying his head down on Fern's lap as he drifted off to sleep with a steady, rhythmic purring. Prrr...prrrr...prrrr!
