He smiled, this girl was young, but she was special. he'd met a few spirit medium's before. He spent a short time living in the galapagos islands where voodoo is extremely common. in fact after that he now recalled living with a voodoo preistess who saw spirits during his stay in New Orleans.
"You know... ive had long years to think on things like death, and even though ive never died... or plan to, I can only understand that regret is a pointless emotion, and sentiment is more often than not a device of guilt in the living, and less and honour to the dead. You should try wearing some regular clothes. i myself have taken to many fashions over the years, some are very worthwhile.... Except of course those from the 80's"
He chuckled, and his voice had changed, he was becoming light-hearted, still enigmatic, but less and less as the conversation wore on. His smile was thin, and his words were light, like a dancer.

"Huh?" Baylor looked around, then realized that the helmet was closed shut. He pushed open the eye piece and saw Arisu standing over him. "Oh, yeah, I'm fine." He replied, removing the armour from his head with a bit of a chuckle.

Anya sighed. "This is all i have." she replied. "This is all i brought." She noticed his voice getting lighter. It was impossible that he liked her. "Now if you will excuse me, i am going to go and look around." She bowed to him and walked away, secretly hoping he would follow. God, she was hopeless. She leaned against a wall in a hall and put a hand to her forehead and sighed. "God, I am such a moron."

"Also... i dont think ill ever be sure, but im close to knowing there is no god. As for your things, Im sure that the patrons here have something else for you if you need it. What r ude hosts they would be if they didnt."
This girl was an odd one, but her sentiments were all too human. It was evident to him, that he would find noone to answer his questions here, but he figured he might as well stay. At lest for a little while.

Anya looked at him. Can he read minds or something?! "Why did you follow me? And...you think I'm good looking?" She asked. She didn't know why this man so so intoxicating to her but he definately was.

This was statement of fact, it was hard to manipulate a confused person because you couldnt lead their mind to do things that you wanted whn they were thinking eratically.

The silk was back in his voice, only because he knew she wanted more. She seemed to relish every word he said when he spoke like that, so... he thought to himself miliciously, why not oblige?

"Well," She gulped," I um..I ran away from home. This outfit was my mother's as was this fan. And it has a neat little trick." She held the fan in front of her face and pressed a secret button on the hilt and blades shot out of the fan, razor sharp. She lowered it down to cover only her lips and her eyes shone in the glimmer of the candle light. She tried not to look at him seductively but she couldn't help it. "You like?"

"Your young yet... and still you weild a bladed weapon? I fought in the crusades, a ran through men with my sword like it was second nature. They were heretics, so i left them to suffer, bleeding on the sand missing lims or spurting blood from cracked skulls. The horror that human weaponry can produce is an awful thing. So no i dont like it. I havent weilded a weapon since my last day as a human because nature intended me to have the weapons i already do. A rhino does not kill another rhino with its horn, and transversly huamns should not kill each other. Especially with people like me around."
He said this last sentence particularly menacingly. he knew she was innocent, but itys better she learned this lesson now than when she sat beside a dying man from her own hands.

"Need any help?" Arisu asked the boy. She knew that he probably couldn't get the helmet back on because of his size. Of course, Arisu was a little short as well, and probably wouldn't have much better luck than he would.

He asked this with a concerned intonation. She was being beligerant, and he knew her thought process all too well. She wanted to prove herself because she thought she needed his respect. She didnt know that she already had itthough. Even if she did kill someone it was at least for some good resons, it didnt weigh on her soul. He was a soul-less amoral husk of a man, and he even felt for the men he'd killed long ago.

Anya turned to look at him. "I carry a weapon because the world isn't nice. The man i killed tried to rape me. That is why i carry a weapon. Protection." She knew he was only trying to help. She greatly appreciated it too. He just needed to know that she felt no remorse.
